The Justiciary is basically a Gendarmerie, a Military Force charged with Police Duties. This force is made of heavenly warriors known as Angels. Their mission, to secure the borders to the Middle Realm. Ever since the small invasion of the beasts, caused a situational awareness of the potential fading borders. Mathias felt it best to have an elite force constantly watching this potential threat and always ready to act encase of future attacks.
The borders are separated into Twenty Six separate "Jurisdictions" and each heavily guarded by a legion of angels. Each legion is lead by a Justice-General or Justiciar as they are called. Each of the Jurisdictions are placed against the "bubble" that Acanthus created. As the Twenty Six runs all around the bubble covering it from all ends. The Jurisdictions don't particularly run very far within the world itself, as they concern themselves with what is outside of the wall, not within it.
The Justiciary's main base of operations is within the Halls of Justice located in the Upper Realm. Each Justiciar meets within the Tower's Chamber and supply each other with reports and intelligence. Not to mention a Map of the World placed upon the table, and acts like a projector, giving them a 3D and 2D views of the Middle Realm. Each Justiciar is a cut above the rest, they are Archangels and they are the most gifted and most powerfulest of their Angelic brethren. They are the first line of defense and if the Chaos Beasts push past them, then may their be mercy on the rest of the realm.
The First Archangel-Mathew
Named after Mathias, Mathew is a devoted and sturdy leader of the Justiciary. Because of his leadership he is known as the Chief Justiciar. He is the sovereign Justice-General of Jurisdiction A (JDA for short).
The Second Archangel-Bartholomew
He is the sometimes brash and impulsive younger brother of Mathew. Despite his hot-headedness he is a brave and loyal member of the Justiciary. He is the sovereign Justice-General of Jurisdiction B (JDB).
The Third Archangel-Annamaria
The gentle and free-spirited Justice-General of Jurisdiction C (JDC). She is known to be always happy and never sad. She is best to person to find to lighten anyone's mood.
The Fourth Archangel-Dimitrion
The mild-mannered and caring Justice-General of Jurisdiction D (JDD). He is perhaps one of the most nicest people you would ever meet. He enjoys nature and is respectful of any and all walks of life. He isn't one to resort to violence right away, even though his duty would tell him otherwise. He only seeks to create everlasting peace.
The Fifth Archangel-Natalia
The timid and quiet Justice-General of Jurisdiction E (JDE). Natalia hardly speaks for fear of rejection of her words and ideas. She definitely doesn't appear to have the heart of a warrior, as she doesn't even seem to stand up for herself. Despite this she is a very kind and warm person, once you get to know her. She has the unique ability to conjure up lightning in battle.
The Sixth Archangel-Kenneth
The often disinterested and rebellious Justice-General of Jurisdiction F (JDF). He cares very little of opinions about him, and prefers to let his reputation do the talking. He is a loner, a maverick, and a very tenacious warrior. Despite his ability to conjure up fire during battle, he is very cold at heart.
The Seventh Archangel-Issac
The studious and stern Justice-General of Jurisdiction G (JDG). Issac is one of the most straight-forward, no-nonsense person one could hope to meet. He is also a very gifted Magi and has knowledge of various magical spells.
The Eighth Archangel-Saffron
The cavalier and upstanding Justice-General of Jurisdiction H (JDH). Saffron is a valiant and dependable warrior, and is reputable by his bravery and heroism. Despite the apparent secrecy Saffron keeps, he is a social and considerate person. Very likeable man, even though no one has any idea what he really looks like.
The Ninth Archangel-Lazul
The frigid Justice-General of Jurisdiction I (JDI). He is known to be analytical and tactical, never jumping into battle without a strategy. He is usually the foremost in debates and in the war room. When not tending to work, he enjoys resting in the Frozen North. He has the ability to conjure up ice.
The Tenth Archangel-Valen
The Arrogant Justice-General of Jurisdiction J (JDJ). His pride in his legion and his own skills, has made him very snobbish believing to be the best. He is one of the most active Justiciars making his men guard his jurisdiction around the clock. He has even went as far as to send men into the The Wilds, Why? Because he wants to send a message, he wants those beasts to fear him and his men. Giving them warning if they invade, expect no mercy. (Note: He in fact has two wings.)
The Eleventh Archangel-Katherine
The sharp-tongued Justice-General of Jurisdiction K (JDK). She is known to be the most harsh and domineering of the archangels. Often opinionated she sometimes tries to argue the point that stricter security regulations must be made, as well as expansion of the Jurisdictions. Whether or not her wishes are answered, she is ready to fight when the need arises.
The Twelfth Archangel-Meredith
Perhaps one of the most devoted members of the Justiciary, is the benevolent Justice-General of Jurisdiction L (JDL). She is one of the most fair and even-minded of the Justiciars. She treats everyone with respect and has a knack for Law. In times of combat she is a focused fighter and hardly makes mistakes.
The Thirteenth Archangel-Argen
The mysterious Justice-General of Jurisdiction M (JDM). Argen hardly speaks and being faceless doesn't much help to understand what exactly Argen is thinking or feeling. This makes him unpredictable and often at the discomfort of many a being. The best inference made about his character is that he is very distant. He is also known to be quite morbid.
The Fourteenth Archangel-Zakari
Perhaps the most fierce of all of the female angels is Zakari. Brave, agile, and tenacious she constantly trains to better herself. She is very competitive with her male counterparts. Believing women are just as capable or more so at doing their jobs as men are. She is the Justice-General of Jurisdiction N (JDN).
The Fifteenth Archangel-Seline
Just as the water is calming, tranquil, and beautiful, one can argue Seline exhibits these traits. While she has the ability to manipulate water, she doesn't use it for combat, more for helping others. She likes to help people and even if you don't want her help, she is known to be very persistent. She is unabashed and unafraid, even in the face of the most gruesome, dangerous, or just plain mean beings. She is the Justice-General of Jurisdiction O (JDO).
The Sixteenth Archangel-Nail
It is no tale that Nail is known to be one of the most physically strongest of the Archangels. Despite his ferocity and strength in battle, he is very peaceful. He has an aura of majesty about him even though he is quite modest. He is slow to anger but when upset he turns quite feral and can be destructive. When in battle he is a proud warrior and one of the most durable as well. He is the Justice-General of Jurisdiction P (JDP). (Note: In the picture Nail does not have horns. That is basically his mane placed in a very intricate braid.)
The Seventeenth Archangel-Virgil
The zealous, yet stoic, Justice-General of Jurisdiction Q (JDQ). Virgil is the definition of calm, cool, and collected. He hardly shows any temperament yet it is no secret, he follows the Justiciary religiously. He is an exemplar and acts as a sort of mediator of the Justiciary. He is ever vigilant to make sure no flaws can be found in the system.
The Eighteenth Archangel-Bahsaul
While Bahsaul has the disposition of a monster, he is no less devoted to the cause. Bahsaul is indeed an Archangel and he is the Justice-General of Jurisdiction R (JDR). Besides his horrific appearance Bahsaul is also accredited to being a giant of an angel, standing at 15 ft tall. Bahsaul's character has been described as brutish and gruff. When he fights he can be quite barbaric adding more to his already intimidating appearance.
The Nineteenth Archangel-Kaasaius
An angel that blends in with the sky thanks to his unique outward appearance. Now one is quite sure why his skin is translucent but it is apart of his abilities. He is known to be one of the toughest, and most hardiest of the Archangels. Despite his skill for stealth he is the quite physical fighter. Kaasaius is some what of a wise man. When asked for advice he gives usually profound and confusing phrases. Yet, he genuinely cares for his fellow Archangels. He is the Justice-General of Jurisdiction S (JDS).
The Twentieth Archangel-Orin
Perhaps the biggest mystery of them all, Who is Orin? Besides him being the Justice-General of Jurisdiction T (JDT), nothing is known of him. He makes no effort to interact with others, or even his own Legion. While he has been written off as a slacker and a mute, there is more to him than meets the eye. He was blind when he was created, but despite this noticeable disadvantage, his other senses are greater than any of the angels could boast. He makes use of no weapons, but some how manages to perform these acts of combat. What exactly does he do?
The Twenty-First and Twenty-Second Archangels- Amelia & Cecilia
Amelia (Left), is the Justice-General of Jurisdiction U (JDU) and Cecilia (Right) is the Justice-General of Jurisdiction V (JDV). They are identical twins and do nearly everything together. In fact both of their Jurisdictions are combined making theirs the largest out of anyone's. They are hard working girls, but also fun-loving as well. They have a perfect balance with each other and the world around them. In fact their so in sync they have the annoying habit of saying the same sentence simultaneously, or finishing each other's sentence. Despite this they are tough warriors and always fight as a team.
The Twenty-Third Archangel-Cassandra
Cassandra is the Justice-General of Jurisdiction W (JDW). Cassandra is very roguish and sly and has been known to toy with others. She much prefers subtle tactics compared to an frontal assault. She isn't one to fight head on or even fight fair for that matter. She is also accredited to being the best sharpshooter in the Justiciary, as her aim and accuracy are second to none. (Note: Cassandra has two wings regardless of the image showing her with only one wing.)
The Twenty-Fourth Archangel-Alasteir
The Narcissistic and Malignant Justice-General of Jurisdiction X (JDX). Alasteir thinks very highly of himself and is a very manipulative person. He is also something of a thespian, normally he appears to be a hard-working, interested Archangel in this field of work. He even goes as far as to host training sessions and such, and is an active member during meetings. This is only a facade. He is actually a cruel and spiteful individual. He finds guarding the borders a waste of his time, as his ambitious nature propels him to take more power. Not only does he wish to rule as, Chief Justiciar, but perhaps as King of the Angels?

The Twenty-Fifth Archangel-Ripley
The mischievous and energetic Justice-General of Jurisdiction Y (JDY). Ripley is short in stature and coupled with his behavior lead many to believe he is a child. Despite his youthful nature, he is in fact one of the most intelligent people on the Justiciary. Despite being gifted, he much prefers to play and make jokes, as oppose to fighting monsters. Yet, fighting cannot always be avoided so he wears this, quite cartoonish armor. Don't let his looks fool you, he is capable of some devastating blasts.
The Twenty-Sixth Archangel-Heath
The Justice-General of Jurisdiction Z (JDZ). Heath is a rather despondent fellow, not one for much talk and gab. He prefers to remain silent and seems to distance himself from those who wish to pry into his life. Otherwise he is much content hanging around the area listening to conversations of the others. When he does speak, is very soft and comes off as a sort of mumble. He isn't portrayed as brave or even strong. This often leaves him at the mercy of the other's egos, as he does nothing to stand up for himself. Besides this, Heath is very recognizable for his One Wing and melancholic demeanor.
