So what may be the reason there are four categories? well It's simply because different paths use different material and different material means different values.
Blacksmithing: Uses Ores/Others
Leatherworking: Uses Leathers/Others
Tailoring: Uses Cloth/Others
Alchemy/Cooking: Uses Others
When it comes to making an item, the level will always determine by how much materials you use. As shown below these are all the materials you need to create a level 1 item.

To create a higher level of the item you need to have (Level x base amount of materials).
So for example, I want to create a legendary item of level 75. Above, it shows how much it is at level 1 so i am going to multiply all of those values by 75
600 Rare Material
600 Normal Material
300 Others

crafting is not cheap but it is rewarding especially if you wanna play the auction house game.
To craft a certain level of item, you must have the level in skill. To get more skill levels you must craft your current skill level.
So If I have 20 skill level - I need to make a level 20 Item to go to the next rank.
Must have 15 Skill in Alchemy...

IC HP Potion - 20 Others + 2 Rare Other
IC SP potion - 20 Others
To use the crafting system OOC wise, you need to say what was made below.
Like the shop.
"Hilde crafts a level 60 Rare weapon using...." and list how much of what material you lost.
Then place the name of what was made in your inventory. Much prefer it to be in this format "Rarity item type level"
For example. "Legendary Weapon lv.75"
- Code: Select all
Professions
Blacksmith: 1/75
Leatherworking: 1/75
Tailoring: 1/75
Alchemy: 1/75
Cooking 1/75
If you are new these values will stay. If you have been playing for a week+ I will roll a d20 x how ever much levels you lack from the max you could have got. Then you simply put those points to where you want them.
