@Fabricator

You're welcome to apply. I can make more roles as people apply.

@Lloyd

Yeah, ASIT's main objective is to prevent and control Cyber-Rage, but they truthfully cover all cases that have to do with augmentations in general. Most of the research into Cyber-Rage would deal with finding ways to prevent it and understanding what certain things bring it on, beyond the overuse of augments of course.

Histories can be flushed out in the roleplay, but it is entirely up to the roleplayer what they want to reveal and whether or not they even dive into it.

Where you want to go with visual augmentations is fine to an extent. Most of the population lacks augments, something we will also delve into in the roleplay. High-end augments would be able to do what you have in mind, but low-end augments (which are far more common) will not be able to. So, just keep that in mind as you go forward.

This looks interesting. Quick question, by non-specialist, does that mean general purpose? Jack of All Trades? Cannon Fodder?

Going off of that, may I be the next letter in the Greek Alphabet?

Sorry, but I'm cutting off the roleplay at the current number of members as it is already at more than I originally wanted or thought would even be interested. Thanks for showing interest.

By the way, how prevalent is Graphene in this universe? I mean, considering there was such a shortage of petroleum, they simply couldn't produce plastic goods as much as they once had, am I right? I figure, in the near future, nearly everything is going to use Graphene, so I was just wondering how much is used in this roleplay.

Oh, and just so you don't have to do the research, Graphene is basically a sheet of Graphite, or Carbon, that is an atom thick, practically 2-D, that is stronger than diamond or steel, is extremely conductive, more so than copper or gold, and is super light. And, of course, it's super flexible, making the possibilities for foldable or wearable mobile devices endless. It could have applications in computer sciences, nanotechnology, material sciences, fashion, military equipment, construction, filtration, medical use, and probably most exciting for this RP, bio-mechanics.

Think of atom-thick sheets over one's eyes, giving them all kinds of visual capabilities without expensive augmentations or replacements, and bulletproof eyelids to protect them. Sheets of Graphene over a person's skin, to act has a sort of protective covering and touch-enhancer, and even as a heat regulator and automatic bandage. Disease and Cancer fighting nanobots in one's bloodstream, which also administer antibiotics into it. Cables and wires that are extremely difficult to damage, or limbs that do not get displaced easily, or even arms and legs that extend. Hell, even a second computer tucked away somewhere in your skull or chest cavity as a brain, or (God forbid) an enhanced mechanical penis enhancement that can easily erect and contract when desired.

Either way, the possibilities are endless with Graphene, and this is pretty far into the future, and some major element has got to take over our everyday lives once petroleum's gone. not to mention, it's lightweight properties probably make it more desirable for human modification than having to haul heavy steel arms and legs and skulls around when all the lightweight plastics are gone...

You do realize that there are other ways to produce carbon-based materials (as well as lightweight polymers) than relying solely on petroleum, right?

I'm going to pretend I didn't read the third paragraph and instead focus on the first two and the last. Graphene isn't what exactly I had in mind due to the fact it would make a lot of the issues within the city rather pointless. I will try to incorporate it in some areas, but it won;t be very prevalent for most of the roleplay.

Haha.

Just a quick question to you Citadel, are we a newly formed squad, or have we worked together a few missions?

They are a newly formed squad but the probability is high that they have worked together in other districts in the past. How far back some of them go, I'll leave that put to you.

Expect the first post to be up soon. Du to the game being on I can't really say for sure what time I'll have it up, but it will definitely be tonight.

A...from what I gather, is it right to assume most of the food products are lab grown/synthesized?
How's the general culture of Weiss?
Should I just go with my cyberpunk-esque gut on this one...?
