Hi everybody. I'm going to submit a character if no one minds cause this role play looks like a lot of fun.


I also had a question about the world. Is there still electricity? This may be a completely stupid question, but I don't want to mess anything up.

Did some research on electricity. I guess I'm just assuming that it's been about a month or two since people started dropping down.

Assuming the plants are in good condition...
About 51% of the U.S. will have no power, since coal plants take a fair amount of human interaction.
20% will have power for the next 700 days or so from nuclear power.
7% should have power for a few weeks from hydroelectric plants.
Natural gas plants would be down by this time from no human intervention.

Now, this is ignoring the unreliability of the grid. By now, power will be down except for a few select areas that are still getting power from the grid. Also, any places with backup generators might have power. Also, you can get a simple generator from most hardware stores if you really wanted power.

I apologize in advance for taking up room in the OOC, but I was pretty sure that if I sent you another PM you wouldn't even read it. But please just hear me out.
I mean look, I know I might have made a bad first impression, but can't you just give me a second chance? I really wanted to join your RP because I loved the plot and activity. I'm sorry about bugging you about it, but it feels a little unfair that you just reject my character and ignore me because we got off on the wrong foot. All the people in this RP say that your a nice and reasonable person, so why can't you be like that to me?
I'm just asking for a second chance, I just really want to join this RP. I'm a pretty good roleplayer, so I won't drag the RP. Also, I visit around twice daily, so I'll be very active. Please, at least consider accepting my character. If there's something you don't like about my CS, I'll change it. But please just give me a second chance on this.
