Hello my darlings

Please feel free to use this thread to input anything for the RP, and believe me when I say anything I do mean anything at all. If you're not too sure about something in particular about the roleplay ask away, I will try to answer as best as I possibly can. I would also love it if you guys gave suggestions regarding the plot seeing that there are oh so many things that we can do.

Hello everyone, I've been getting PM's with lovely questions regarding some things and I have noticed that I have not explained thoroughly quite a few things, being that said I hope that to of of you whom I sent the responses don't mind that I am sharing what I replied.

I have tweaked the responses so they can be understood, they are also separated for every different PM, anyways here they are:

(Fallen Angels)
Fallen angels are indeed weaker physically but their levels of weakness all depends on the time where they did something to become fallen.

Angels may become fallen either much earlier in time than where the RP takes place or during their time on Earth, in both cases they either fell in love with a human or disobeyed orders. If is the case that it was before their time on Earth, that they fell in love and even had children, then they were punished by the archangels; like you imagined they got his wings taken, and there is a high probability that they lost their sword's loyalty. Also, the fallen were cast out to Earth, all of their children murdered along with the daughter or son of man that the angel had fallen in love with.

On the other hand, if it was that they got cast out during the time where the RP takes place, then it's a 50/50 chance that they kept their wings seeing how there is no real authority with the angels right now. The swords on the other hand, much like before, are very likely to have lost their loyalty.

All of that being said, it should be kept in mind that the longer they are outside of heaven, or outside of the Aerie, the weaker they become.

(Daughters/Sons of Man || The Aerie || Resistance)
To be honest, it is almost close to impossible for anyone to have escaped the Aerie on their own, specially if they were either a Daughter/Son of Man who served an angel. There are different things that both can do, they either serve an angel in particular as a companion/escort if you will, or work at the parties as staff; either way it is extremely difficult to escape, the only way that I see for it to be plausible would be if that person escaped during the attack that the Resistance planned in the previous Aerie, and that is if they were working on staff of if the angel did not care for them. So to sum things up and yes there have been special/rare occasions in which humans have escaped, but it is very rare and it is very likely that it was during the first attack on the previous Aerie.

Now the Aerie itself, well the new Aerie on it's exterior is meant to look as a military base camp. I know, probably not expected by beautiful mansion gif I posted on the homepage, but that is because that was the previous Aerie where they were staying before the first attack. Anyways, yes it is a military base camp of sorts, all of the possible alternative entrances are covered with barbed wire and there are but two only remaining entrances, the main one is a huge iron gate from which only vehicles can enter, while the second one is an underground compound that only the resistance know about and a few selected others. In the entrance there is also someone in charge of picking the daughters and sons of man, an angel who chooses and decides which humans can enter, of course it's always only those who are attractive, who look interesting, exotic, etc.

The Resistance indeed was able to attack the first Aerie but that was because the angels were careless and overconfident, they were obviously not expecting it. Which leads us to why the new Aerie is very guarded as opposed to the first one. The attack was both successful and unsuccessful depending on how you want to consider it. Yes, they were able to attack the angels but most angels were simply injured, there were almost close to none angel casualties while a lot of humans both resistance and non-resistance died. On the other hand, the resistance was able to learn more information about the angels, they learned of their healing powers, they got to learn some of their weaknesses and they also saw that some angels are succumbing to human vanities. Also, like I mentioned earlier some humans were able to escape the Aerie.

Last question, the Aerie has been indeed been created by the angels. The Aerie is shelter of sorts, the angels are stronger where there are other angels, so if they keep coming back to the same place their energy is sort of stored/heighten. I know, it's a bit of confusing >.<

(Angels || Archangels)
Many, if not all of the angels had never set foot on Earth prior the nine weeks taking place on the RP. In fact, perhaps the archangels and other higher power angels were the only ones allowed to. Hence, angels don't really know much about humans and the archangels are the ones who know most about them.

I know that was a handful but I hope that it helps to clarify any doubts that any of you might have. If you guys find something confusing or want me to explain more please don't hesitate to ask.

There was a hole in the plot that Emmie and have fixed.
So, here's a short summary of the time line for The End of Days

Michael, the archangel, brought a garrison of Angels to Earth three years ago and upon their arrival they kidnapped over a dozen humans to serve them during their visit. On the second year of their arrival more Angels came to indulge in earth's bounty, but no more humans were kidnapped under Michael's instruction. When the third year came, The Aerie was attacked. Some humans escaped but most did not and Michael was slain in the mass confusion of the ambush. Essentially it's been nine weeks since Michael's death and since then his angels have gone crazy to reassemble themselves without a leader. Most humans were unaware of the Angels' presence until the death of the archangel and since then The Aerie has been open to them. Humans are allowed to come into The Aerie but once they do, they're not allowed to leave.

The Rebels don't organize attacks but instead pick off Angels seen outside of The Aerie.

The Freelanders cannot enter The Aerie unless they want to remain there. If they are human they cannot leave, while Angels—even the Fallen ones—are free to move in and out of the property as they please. They wander what the Angels have left of the Earth and can either choose to side with The Resistance, side with The Rebels, remain on their own, or become a Son/Daughter of Man.

The Angels of the Aerie

kindly request your presence for their First Annual

in the honor of our departed Michael

In order to keep away unnecessary bias and retain peace within our species
all Angels are required to attend donning a traditional Masquerade style mask.
If you are an Angel your attendance is NOT optional.

Children of Men are not required to attend or wear masks
however, their presence is greatly appreciated.

Our goal is to preserve peace with the Angels on Earth
as well as forge an alliance with Children of Man

This gala will be held on the night of the summer solstice at sunset
We look forward to seeing you there

You may all be wondering, "Steph, what the fuck is this?" Well, I'll tell you.

For our first post the Angels of The Aerie will be throwing a Masquerade ball in honor of the Arch-Angel Michael. All Angels, Fallen or otherwise, are required to attend. The attendance of Children of Men (i.e. the Freelanders) are not required to attend but they may, and are permitted to leave The Aerie once the party is over. Those Children of Men already in The Aerie will be wearing house arrest bracelets to ensure no escape. Members of The Resistance and The Rebels can attend HOWEVER to avoid suspicion they must:

Arrive at The Aerie by themselves or with a date
Security is very tight therefore no weapons will be allowed past the front gate
If you have a weapon once you reach the front gate, you will not be allowed inside
Your car will be searched
Your only way in is through the gate under heavy guard
Uncouth behavior will not be tolerated and offenders will be escorted out

And for those who object to these rules please note that this party will kick off the roleplay. Violence, brawls, and infiltration of The Aerie at such an early stage in the plot line doesn't make for a good story. We ask that you be respectful of that decision. Your character does not have to attend if they are not an Angel so if the party does not sit right with you, talk it over with Emmie and I and we'll work together to formulate a proper introduction for your character.
