Laura is a 16-year-old dynamite. She’s been living in the glade for 3 years now and has become a Keeper of the cooks. She’s got a spunky attitude and while she mostly works well with others, she can have quite the mouth on her if she’s angry or in a bad mood.
Fiona, a cook under Laura, has a similar personality. She’s firey and refuses to let people step all over her. She’s not necessarily a stickler for rules so she’s quite friendly with the Slammer. She’s seen more of the Slammer in the 7 months she’s been in the Glade than she’s seen of her own bed. She doesn’t enjoy being told what to do so she tends to butt heads a lot with commanding officers (First/Second-in-command and Baggers).
Jin is a strong character as well. Not so much so that he’s rebellious, but more so that he has a strong head on his shoulders. This 17-year-old makes a lot of good decisions and rarely acts impulsively. He’s been in the glade for 3 years and a few months and has impressed most of those around him but surpassing his initial quiet personality.
Ben, as he prefers to be called, has been in the Glade for a year and 4 months now; he is 16. He’s the strong silent type, rarely ever getting himself into any sort of trouble or even friendships. He’s pretty set on living his life to work and survive and that’s it. He gets up, goes to the bloodhouse and stays there until the sun comes down. Lot thinks it’s fear that still hasn’t subsided but who knows what it could be with him?
Alex, on the other hand, is the very opposite of Ben. Surprisingly enough, Ben has yet to try to beat Alex to a pulp. Alex is a 15-year-old brat and that’s the nicest way to put it. Alex, who has been in the Glade for 9 months, has worked every job in the Glade (with the exception of a runner) and has been kicked out of each one. He has a tendency to talk a lot and get under people’s skin and apparently Ben is the only one who can handle the kid. Ben might be deaf… who knows?
Lexa. She’s cute and quirky. She’s been in the Glade for 2 years now; she came at the age of 14 and now at 16, she’s still this happy go lucky girl. She’s always able to see the good side of things and has a really positive attitude. Some see it as annoying because they’re probably all very pessimistic but Lexa thinks that as long as she’s alive, life is good.
Mikey is a fairly quiet kid. He doesn’t like to really stir the pot and prefers to just make everyone happy. He doesn’t usually stand up for himself and get tends to get picked on a bit by the baggers ane the builders. He does his work well and has earned the Keeper position but when it comes to the Keeper Council, he doesn’t really ever interject, never wanting to upset anyone. He’s been in the glade for a 1 year and 5 months and is 16.
Nic is one of the younger Gladers. She’s been in the glade since she was 13 and now, she’s going close on 14. She has a strong personality and is a pretty feisty girl. She’s very much like everyone’s little sister – you hate to love her and love to hate her. She is easy going and loves practical joking so while she has a firey personality, she still is a lot of fun to have around.
Jax is good company. He’s 17 and came to the Glade a year and 3 months ago. He is also one of those positive people but he tends to be a little more realistic about his positivity. He and Fiona have been known to be ‘dating’ if you can call it that. He’s a charming guy and he’s known to have a flirtatious personality. Good for him – in the Glade, you have to find happiness anywhere you can.
Carrie has a very strong personality, to say the least. She’s quite abrasive and she always speaks her mind. She isn’t only strong personality wise, she’s one of the strongest females the Glade has. She’s stronger than most of the boys to be honest but most of them will deny that’s true. She’s one of the older Gladers at 18 and has been in the Glade for 2 years and 6 months.
James is a hot head. He has been known to make a visit to the Slammer several times over the course of a week. When he first made it into the Glade when he was 15, he tried to escape several times, causing Runners to have to go in after him every time. He’s downright rebellious and is one of the guys that hates the fact that Lot is in charge.
Avon is quiet but not too quiet. He’s likes to sneak up on people and play jokes but he’s also the type that can’t really handle a joke. He’s a good kid though. He works hard, he does what he has to, to survive and to help others. He’s sweet but sometimes let’s life get the best of him. He’s been in the glade for a year and is 17.
Jo is the youngest Glader they have. She’s only 14 years old and has been in the Glade for 2 years and 11 months. One of her first memories wasn’t her name but instead some medicinal skills she remembers learning at some point in her life. She very quickly became a med-jack with those skills. She’s fairly quiet but not at all intimidated by the other Gladers. She works well with everyone and is very helpful, often doing more work than necessary of her with other job factions.
Although Sarah seems like a sweetheart, she often has a mouth on her. She’s not the happiest that Lot is in charge because she feels that Lot doesn’t do anything he should be doing (like maybe trying to find a way out of the Glade). She deals with it though. She’s been in the Glade for 11 months and she still doesn’t really understand the hierarchy. She’s 16.
Vic is very playful. He’s only been in the Glade for 3 months, and he’s 18 but he’s probably one of the most playful and sweetest guy in the Glade. He’s always going above and beyond and he truly excels at mostly everything he does. He was given the option of choosing which job he wanted to work because he did so well with everything. He’s the type of guy everyone enjoys having around.
Eddie is just your basic kid, to be honest. He’s not too exciting. He’s a nice guy, he follows the rules. He’s fallen into the following after his brother died. He had a twin who was sent in a month after him. Both Eddie and Tom were runners until Tom died by the hands of a griever. Since then Eddie has thus dropped out of the job and became a bagger instead. He’s been in the Glade for 3 years and 7 months.
Marina was a fighter. She refused to follow the rules so it’s surprising she’s a bagger. She is 18 and has been in the Glade for two months now. She was given a bagger position mostly for her strength and for the fact that there was so much going on at the time that the needed people to be baggers so there she was.
Xavier got stuck in this job. He didn’t want it, he doesn’t want it. He hates working for Lot but he doesn’t really have a choice. He’s been here for as long as Lot has been really. He was one of the first 5 arrivals and has been butting heads with Lot ever since. He is 18.
No one really understands how someone could possibly be so bad at doing a job that they got the title as boss of that badly done job. Lionel is the proud Keeper of the sloppers but that’s really nothing to be proud of. Sloppers weren’t really good at any other jobs and had to resort to the grunt work nobody else wanted to do. Lionel, for whatever reason, doesn’t mind. He accepts life as it comes to him. Good for him. He’s 17 and has been in the glade for 2 years and a month.
Harry has been in the Glade for 10 months now. He’s very quiet, which is probably shock. He hasn’t been able to stick a job since he’s been here and is always being pushed around by the older, stronger Gladers. He’s an easy target. He’s skinny and fragile. He doesn’t speak up or stand up for himself. He isn’t very helpful either, he somehow manages to fail at the Slopper job, poor boy. He’s 16.
Kyle is scared of everything. He’s been in the Glade for only 5 months but he still cries late at night when he thinks no one can hear him. Lot has taken pity on the poor boy and has given him a hammock closer to him so that he can protect him. Kyle is 15.
