(Note: Keepers are administrators of the game, more will be revealed as the roleplay progresses

Lucas is vain and arrogant, believing himself to be the best thing there is out there. While fighting, he likes to taunt his enemies and laugh at their frustration. He finds satisfaction in watching the weak squirm while he steps all over them. He has photographic memory, so he only needs to look at something once before being able to recall it almost perfectly. Thus, Lucas is very good at being able to remember who people are. Once he sees a face he never forgets it. Therefore, he remembers every player he has fought.

Outside of the battle zone, Lucas is snarky and always makes unnecessary comments. He is not the most eloquent person and therefore sometimes expresses himself in a way that comes off as rude but really, he is just being brutally honest. Of the keepers, he is one of the most unfriendly, thinking that players are beneath him.

[ P O W E R S ]

At the start of battles, Lucas likes to emerge from his shadow. He uses it as a sort of portal or gateway to go in and out of games.

His shadow is able to take several forms. When in its neutral state, it is constantly moving beneath his feet, never maintaining a constant shape like a normal shadow. The most frequent form that it possesses is the shape of a rabid animal. The only limit to the shapes and forms his shadow can take is Lucas’s own imagination.

[ L I K E S ]
- battling players to ease his boredom

[ D I S L I K E S ]
- Players with particularly annoying powers
- people touching his hair

[ O T H E R ]
- The silver bell on his tail is attached by a white ribbon. The sign that Lucas to battle is the distant sound of jingling followed by an eerie silence.

- When extremely angered, Lucas’s golden eyes will glow and the movements of his shadows become more sharp and sporadic.

So begins...

The person in front of Zachary seemed to fluxuate and then disappears into nothingness, the person he thought there replaced by an empty room. Then after a brief silence there was a sound of a bell jingling followed by laughter that began to echo throughout the room, this was the laughter of a keeper. It seemed the keeper had taken a personal interest in Zachary or he was bored, he found himself that way a lot.
“Hello Zachary how do you like the game?”
The laughter began again seeming to come from everywhere at once
“I can’t believe I tricked you with that, you really must be stupid”
A few seconds after the last of the keepers remarks he decided to show himself to Zachary, he thought that might be interesting.
The keeper used a shadow like weapon that can also be used for a kind of teleportation. The black showdown seemed to engulf the couch of the room and the Keeper seemed to phase through the couch in a sitting position. He was wearing a green jacket grayish pants and black boots. The shadow got smaller but it never seemed to disappear from under him.
“Oh excuse me I must have forgotten to introduce myself. I’m Lucas, of the Keepers.”
He put one leg over the other and began to relax.
“You know I’ve seen a lot of Zero’s but you take the cake. They say your Zero form might embody your fears or your ambitions but it looks like yours embodied the local freak show”
Lucas gestured at the bathroom as if to say “go look in the mirror”.
In reality Lucas had seen much stranger Zero’s but he loved to mess around with them. He never got to plan any games for them so this was his only form of entertainment. The other keepers also allowed Lucas just this once to mess around with the room arrangements.
“Oh yea also”
Lucas pulled out his very own device and began to type for a second before a message was sent to only Zachary and Casus

Zachary

Before his introduction could be completed, the man standing before Zachary seemingly disappeared right before his very eyes, almost as though he was deleted. The event confused him yet he was unable to speculate on what exactly happened before a laughter resonated throughout the room, followed by a voice.

“Hello Zachary how do you like the game?” the voice from everywhere said before continuing with a, “I can’t believe I tricked you with that, you really must be stupid”

Zachary narrowed his eyes at nothing in particular, obviously a bit irritated with whoever this was and how he was being treated. Still though, he kept his guard. Especially when the couch seemed to be absorbed by a shadow briefly before a young man became visible, sitting on it as if that sort of thing was natural. Of course, Zachary wasn't really trusting of such an individual, so if he looked like he was ready to fight at a moment's notice, well... it's because he certainly was ready to do so.

“Oh excuse me I must have forgotten to introduce myself. I’m Lucas, of the Keepers.” the humanoid figure spoke casually. Somehow, someway, Zach had a gut feeling that there was something off about this 'Lucas' person. He did not feel as though he was a person, but instead something very very different. Either way, Zach wasn't about to get all friendly with this guy, considering he called Zach stupid right off the bat. Plus, people tend to be aggressive when they're unsure as to where they are. Being in a strange location you have no memory of venturing kinda puts you on edge. Shortly after, the figure continued once again. “You know I’ve seen a lot of Zero’s but you take the cake. They say your Zero form might embody your fears or your ambitions but it looks like yours embodied the local freak show”

So saying, the man (Lucas) directed his hand at the restroom.

He got a strange feeling in his gut, this one much more prominent. Zach did not remove his eyes from this Lucas, but begun over to the bathroom as he had been instructed. Was something else wrong with him besides his eyes? And what was this so-called 'Zero form' the man referenced? He remembered something like that being mentioned before from his little 'device' but was not really sure what it meant. However, as soon as he reached the bathroom and gazed into the mirror, he got a clue. What he saw in the mirror was not his own reflection, but that of a monster. Pale white skin, bizarre red doughnut eyes, and a long white hair that he had not had before made up the being in the reflection. It certainly could not be himself, that'd be insane. Yet..... as he finally looked down to his hand, he noticed a lack of coloring to it that terrified him.

"What have you done to me!?" instead of being scared, however, the young man turned his fright into anger. It was not like him to do so, but he wasn't really able to catch himself. Zachary completely ignored the vibrating in his pocket --- he certainly wasn't about to check a message when he was irritated beyond belief. Whatever this guy was doing needed to stop. "Where have you taken me?!" he barked another question. "I'm not in the mood for any silly games!"

“What have you done to me?!”
Lucas took this time to laugh at Zachary even more. New Zeroes were always the funniest to mess around with, none of them know what’s going on and most of them seem scared. Zachary continued questioning where he was, again a typical question of a typical Zero. It was only when Zachary said
“Im not in the mood play games” that Lucas responded with more than a yes. Lucas mustered up the most serious face he could create, though it was extremely hard for him to do and said
“Not in the mood?”
He snickered in between the words
“Well you better get in the mood, because that’s all this is, a game. Don’t worry though you’re not the only one suffering. All us keeps have suffer through looking at you”
Lucas began to giggle, trying to keep a serious face but it was too late, and his giggling turned into full-fledged laughter.
Lucas was honestly trying to get him Zachary mad. He wasn’t exactly looking for a fight but he was hoping for something interesting, he wasn’t entirely sure. He just knew that his boredom was satisfied for the time being and that was all he needed to know to continue.
Lucas sunk into the couch the shadow dissipating slowly after. The room was silent for a few seconds before there was another bell like jingle and the shadow appeared just in front of Zachary’s feet. Lucas slowly protruded from the blotch on the floor smiling and said in a sinister voice
“But will you survive this game?"

Casus Mornexus

It began at least ten minutes ago. Casus found a mysterious device on the table in his living room inside his small apartment. There weren't any signs of anyone else in his house, and he was sure that there weren't any visitors who came by recently. So how did this thing get here....?

Of course, then a text came from the device. In ten minutes, he would be teleported to a totally isolated room. With another person. But what game is it talking about? Sighing, Casus took the mysterious message's device and looked over the "information files." However, this helped him only a little, only telling him that he was going to be forced into several games with complete strangers, and that he has his own weapon and new form... ".... This doesn't help at all...."

Time never gave him mercy, as when Casus blinked once more, he was trapped in a new room. He blinked and stepped back, looking around. "Uh..."

"Do these people have some sort of ability to teleport, like in a video game?" The man to his right asked, and Casus blinked. Oh, right. The other person...

"I... don't know...." Casus replied as he examined his surroundings. At least he wasn't bound or anything, so that's good.

After a few minutes of silence, the other person introduced himself. "I'm Zachary, and I guess I'm a player, according to the little cellphone thing. How about you?"

"My name is Casus...." Casus nodded, taking the hand and shaking it. "I guess I'm a player as well..."

Then out of complete randomness, Casus blinked again and was now in complete darkness. Everything felt numb to him and black greeted his open eyes. Whether he was blindfolded or not, Casus couldn't tell. "Hello? Hello?!" Casus called out into the darkness. "Is there anyone there?" He wasn't panicked, but he was definitely nervous from his current situation now.

Zachary

This man - thing - was frustrating him immensely. His attitude was cocky and arrogant, and the laughter was the worst thing Zachary had had the displeasure of listening to in quite some time. However, the young man was still oblivious to the fact he was a bit more irritated than he normally would have been. Something was influencing his behavior, most certainly without his consent.

“But will you survive this game?" were the words Zach picked up on.

He heard about other people being dragged into this 'game', or whatever it was. It made him sick. And by the way this man was wording things, it wasn't something to play around with. If this game was life-or-death, then he'd at least try to make sure everyone survived until some authorities could come in and clean this mess up. Well, at least that would be his plan if things were serious. For all he knew, this could still be some asshole's attempt at a prank or something. By now, he wasn't sure if someone had such a bad taste in humor, but that did not necessarily matter. What did was escaping.

Zachary grabbed the collar of the guy's shirt threateningly, raising his other first as a clear warning. "Listen, guy. I don't know what kind of bullcrap you're spewing, but you'd better stop!" his grip only tightened. "I already told you I don't want anything to do with your petty games! Just release me and I won't have to beat on you.

This is your last warning.
"
