The Slightly Insane Game Master's Story

"Oof!" Charlie grunted after she fell on her back. The pain in her body was mindnumbing, she felt like it was a miracle she was alive.
"Ow, ow, ow..." she moaned while slowly getting up. What happened now? It seemed like she was in a tournament with zombies for audience, and her rival was a giant eyeball shaped cake. Her irises widened so much, the white part of her eyes could be barely seen. Her cheeks started hurting from so much smiling. She didn't regret pushing both buttons yet.

"So... I guess I'll have to fight this thingy, eh?" she said. "I wonder what's next... five creepy children who talk and do everything like one person?"

After her brief moment of happiness, Charlie felt a bit nervous. She couldn't do anything against a zombie, what would she do against a giant frosted eye? Maybe she had to wait for the monster to make the first move and then defend herself according to it. Or maybe she should just attack. She would screw up anyways.

"Turn into a mouse!" Charlie yelled, pointing her wand at the eye monster. Instead of that, a massive fire stream came out of the wand, and it didn't even hit the eyeball.

"Yikes!" Charlotte yelped and started running around the arena. In the process, she took out a long broom from her small bag. She prepared to ride it. At first she still had to run a little bit more, but then she finally flew with the broom.
"Whooaa! WHOOAAA! Hold on! AAAHHH!" The broom was flying rapidly, changing directions abruptly. Charlotte felt like she would almost fall of it, until she finally did.

As the broom was still flying around, the young witch landed on the eye, trying her best to keep her balance on it. Then it clicked to her.
"Why didn't I think of it before?" she said and took a bite off the caked eye. "Nice!" she exclaimed while still trying not to fall off the cake.

Charlie was frozen in place, stunned from the sight. She was shocked and speechless until...
"Oh! That thing over there is adorable!" she pointed at the screen, got closer to it and started watching.

Charlie the witch unintentionally used 'confuse'. Was it super effective?
