Occupation
"Student and Costume, Lighting, and Sound Technician. When I'm not up to those shenanigans I'm just your average set up guy and odd jobs doer. The band needs me? I'm there. Haha."

Relationships with others
Naomi: "Ha! She's a piece of work. Real quiet like, yknow? Real unpredictable with all that pent up anger and frustration, too. I wish she'd just say things on her mind more! It'd bring the group together way more. And she needs to realize she's totally part of the family just like the rest of us! Haha. I guess I should take my own advice though. She's a real sweetie. I wish she'd stop hiding all that's up there in that thinkpan o' hers."
Indiana: "What's with all these secretive girls? Hah. When I first showed up I totally thought I had a crush on her. Before I figured things out, yknow. She's probably one of my best damn friends now. I hope she doesn't have any hard feelings about how that crush thing went down. Haha."
Morgan: "M? Dang. I don't know her too well but I sure as heck like her attitude yknow."
Sutton: "Sutton. Ha. I wish I knew him better. He's got some real great opinions if you ask him for them. And he's super smart yknow? Like wow. Heh. He's pretty cool. Great friend, really."
Zachary: "I dunno. He seems a bit like a big ham, yknow? Something about him makes me real nervous. Not sure why. But he's real polite and stuff on stage when we're setting up so haha. I guess I just don't know him well enough to see all of the amazing stuff that makes him up."

Dating/Crushes
"Ha! I haven't dated anyone in ages. I guess it could be said I haven't actually serious-adult-really-actually dated anyone ever. I was always too busy with school. I wish I could get in with someone soon though. I'm feeling a bit isolated and damn it would be nice to be someones first choice, yknow?"

Secrets
-"The band still doesn't know this, and yknow, I shouldn't be keeping secrets. But uh. Heh. My sexualities been in question for ages and I dunno. Chicks aren't realy my thing. Heh. It's a pretty well kept secret though, yknow. So I no one knows that. I kinda hope to keep it that way. Haha. My personal life isn't really their business anyway."
-"My self esteem's been downright shit since high school. And yknow. I've got scars on my thighs from all those times I cut and in all my high school photos ycan see I've been starvin myself. I eat now. Still cut a little, though. When things get too much. And all this being happy gets real tiring sometimes... so I just sleep sometimes. And sometimes when I disappear from the set for a day or two it's cuz I just wanna go hide somewhere and cry for a little while. But that's okay, right? Heh. Not like I have severe depression that I'm overcompensating for or anything."
-"Heh. This is the big one. Kinda completes the whole damn sob story. I don't let it get me down to much. It's another thing I don't go round tellin the band, yknow, don't wanna get em down and anyway it's not like I'm real important to the whole shebang, considerin they could get a new stagecraft kid whenever they want. But I've got lung cancer. I'm on meds and stuff and it's real early stage so the survival rate's like fifty percent but it's a little scary. I just hope it doesn't spread or anything. And it's putting my ma and da in a real financial bind yknow. But hey, I've got a job now, right?"

Image
Appearance
Tattoos
Like this, except over his chest
The words 'I want to live, not just survive' across the inside dip of his hip.
Scars
Doesn't really count, but he's got a mole over his lip.
Self harm scars across his thighs
across his knuckles on both hands.
Piercings
clavicle dermals
Eyes
Grey-blue-brown depending on the light and what he's wearing
Hair
He keeps it dyed bright ginger or lets it revert back to its natural brown depending on his mood and the timeframe, generally bright ginger though.

Personality
Presenting himself to the world with a huge grin, Dan almost always has this giant charisma that makes everyone in the room light up. He's a miracle worker in making people feel great about themselves and is always over-enthusiastic about good things. Despite being the youngest of the group, he often plays mother to the entire band and their associates, trying to make sure everyone is fed and clothed all of the time and counseling them in the most friendly and caring way. He likes listening to people talk and can ramble forever on his views of the universe and loves talking about other people and how he thinks the universe works.

However, after a certain amount of listening and being carefree, Dan will disappear for a day or two. Just to hide, to let all of his sadness out and curl up in a little ball and hate himself for a day or two. It blows over quick though and he'll often return to his group of friends stronger than ever when he does happen to leave like that. While very happy he doesn't talk about himself a lot, and is relatively secret in his personal affairs, which sometimes puts people off a bit.

History
Born in England Dan's family didn't even stay long enough for him to develop the accent but he does still have family throughout Europe. His father was from a rich family in London, while his mother was a poor woman from France. His father and mother broke up when he was two and his mother and the man she'd cheated on his father with moved to the U.S. with him and the man's daughter. They were raised as siblings and a warm family altogether. Things went well. In the last year of middle school Dan decided he'd audition for an Arts high school with a Stagecraft and Technology major. Through high school he flourished in his major, recieving top marks and growing especially in lighting, sound, and costume tech. All of which, he was scouted for for the band before he was out of high school but his school allowed him leave for the concerts and now tour due to it being perfect study for his major as long as he digitally submitted his homework to his teachers while he was touring and such.

So begins...

Dan gave a tired smile as he exited the plane, running a hand through his bright ginger hair. He gave a little laugh and his step bounced a little to be back on solid ground. He looked over at Morgan and chuckled. "Hey, M! Your lips are chapped." He stopped next to her and dived into his carryon bag to hand her his full water bottle and a stick of chap stick from his pocket. He looked around. He hardly remembered England but it definitely felt like home. He looked toward baggage claim and sighed, chuckling a little. He looked around his little family. They all looked tired and haggard from the long flight. "Hey, after baggage claim how does going out for coffee sound? Then we can go track down that pesky hotel, aight?" he asked, still watching baggage claim for the bag carousel to start moving. The tiniest bit of anxiety flickered in his eyes because maybe his costumes and custom lighting and sound equipment had been damaged and his fingers were itching to check but he didn't let it get to him too badly because he knew he could make and modify more if such a thing happened.
He usually passed his meds off as ADHD meds, which usually got him by, but he was really itching for some pain meds just about now, and he hadn't brought any. Through his smile, he thought to himself. Well this is going to be a long trip.

Indiana Scarlett Karver

Indiana popped her headphones back in after stepping off the plane, and followed the rest of the band members. She took a small nap during the flight but she was still exhausted. When they reached the baggage claim she pulled one of her headphones out again so she could hear any conversation her bandmates started. She laughed and rolled her eyes playfully as James dropped to his knees in the airport. "Coffee sounds good right about now. I think that's a wonderful idea" she smiled at Dan and leaned against the nearest object. Even though they sat for 16 hours her legs seemed just as tired as the rest of her body. As the minutes past, she pulled her bag and bass guitar out of the baggage claim, but started to get antsy. The other's things weren't coming and she knew that posed as a major problem for them. No instruments, no band. A few more minutes past, and people from another flight were advancing toward the baggage claim. Indiana's eyes grew wide. 'Please don't tell me they lost our luggage' she thought. "I hate to be the one to point out the obvious, but what are we going to do if our instruments aren't on that baggage claim? Because it looks to me like that might happen to us." she said, gesturing aimlessly at the baggage carousel.

Zachary's bored, tired and lacking eyes scanned the airport around him, spotting many people departing the plan alongside him, his bandmates and the planes taking off from the windows. He rubbed his temples slowly and closed his eyes, yawning vigorously, almost obnoxiously. They had finally left that dreaded plane and made way back to land! Oh the joy, for he was not a bird and believed his feet were best firmly planted on the ground. Although he wished his feet were on better ground. Unfamiliar places weren't his favorite, and they weren't even in good America anymore, let alone the United States.

He might have to fake an accent to fit in or something.

His glance was pulled towards the man on the floor, who seemed to be worshiping with his mouth which wasn't too sanitary. Meh. "Jay, floors are for your feet, not your mouth, silly." he remarked, giving the man a pat on the back and sighing. "But I guess we're all happy that's over." he glanced around at his fellow band members before making said observation. One of them, Dan, suggested they go to get some coffee and as tired as Zach was, that sounded like the best idea in the world and so he turned to the boy and went to agree when...

"I hate to be the one to point out the obvious, but what are we going to do if our instruments aren't on that baggage claim? Because it looks to me like that might happen to us."

Zach frowned and glanced longingly at where his bags were supposed to be. "Maybe if we pretend, that wont happen?....no?" he shook his head and was actually very displeased if this turned out to be the case, though no one could tell. As far as his fellow members go, none of them had actually seen him 'mad' before. Displeased, but not mad. However, he just bought his new instrument, and losing that investment wasn't really something he wanted the airline to be guilty of. It was red and everything! "I'm so tired that at this point, I don't even care. I'll care later when I have the strength, will and beer to do so." he stated. "Coffee sounds nice."

Morgan

'Here's some chapstick' Dan gave her a bottle of water and a chap stick. She was so glad. Dan always thought of everything. She sighed thankfully at him and blew him a thank you kiss from her hand. She smiled. She felt a whole lot better with some water and something to ease the pain in her lips. Dan said something about coffee. 'Dan, you are my hero! as soon as i have this stupid bag of mine I need some coffee!' Morgan said tired. She was sitting on the floor looking up at the bags starting to flow by.

"I hate to be the one to point out the obvious, but what are we going to do if our instruments aren't on that baggage claim? Because it looks to me like that might happen to us."

Morgan got nervous. What? No. This can't be. You know. This are her clothes and her shower cream and toothbrush and.. oh there it was! A big red case with her name on in black letters. Her heart jumped back in place. But some of the others were still looking for their stuff. I hope everything will be allright!

James

He heard Indiana chuckle as he kissed the grouns. 'Are you laughing at me madame?' he said in a joking over acted british accent. She was leaning on one of the concrete poles that held up the high ceiling. Jay, floors are for your feet, not your mouth, silly. But I guess we're all happy that's over." Zach said while patting him on the back. 'I know I know' James told him. 'haven't you ever been sooo madly happy that you were home you would do anything? It's like being drunk without having touched alcohol : everything is a good idea.'

"I hate to be the one to point out the obvious, but what are we going to do if our instruments aren't on that baggage claim? Because it looks to me like that might happen to us."

James saw the bags flow by. He saw the same one twice... for times even six times. He didn't see his drum kit. His heart started to race and his mind started to panic. Maybe they have a special service for big items! Yes that could be it! I just go and ask the lady over there and she will give me my baby... I mean drum kit! He said to himself.

Dan had let his head fall into the buzz of pain in his chest. The superfluous pain that flowed through his veins and he tried to force himself to stop breathing. To get his lungs to stop burning with the colonies of what was, in essence his self, devouring his life. After not breathing came to be too much trouble he tried to breathe long, slow, shallow. Slowly he came out of the pain induced daze and searched near-blindly around for another band member. Hopefully one of the girls. They always had motrin laying around for their periods right? Trembling he braced himself against a pillar, and continued his search.

With a quick shake of the head, Sutton snapped out of his inner babble, then looked at Naomi and let out a nervous laugh, then ran a hand through the back of his hair, something he tended to do when he was caught in awkward situations. "Yeahh...I kind of, erm, I do that a lot...." A lot was an understatement. He mentally debated almost everything. At the mention of her not having her money, Sutton simply waved her off, then grabbed her Monster out of her hand, ready to pay.

"I won't hear of it, don't worry about it." Taking the energy drinks to the front, Sutton took out a ten from his wallet and placed it on the counter, then waited while he recieved his change back, which he stuffed into his wallet lazily. He wasn't one for having everything just where it needed to be, he considered it a waste of time. Handing Naomi her Monster, he then led her through a string of people who just walked into the store, then out into the open again. "We should see what the others are up to...."

Popping the cap of the energy drink open, he took a quick sip, then began to lead Naomi back to the luggage claim. Instead of exchanging words with the band mates, he turned his searching eyes on Dan, who was leaning against a pillar, then smiled slightly. "You okay?" He seemed sort of zoned out.

[OOC : There's something wrong with the site, some bug or something, can't read my last entered post. So if I was already standing at the desk. I'm realy sorry.]

Morgan

Are you okay, Dan? Morgan saw dan panicking. She didn't have any medication but she wanted to make sure he was okay. Where is the water he gave her? She saw it standing next to James on the floor. As some weird ass ninja she grabbed the flask and ran to Dan, making shure he drank a bit and calmed down. She sometimes had those weird attacks herself. As if your chest was in flames and your head didn't know what to do anymore. And the large amount of people around didn't do it any good... Poor Dan. Are you okay sweaty? she asked him. Indiana who sat next to James was also concerned about our youngest member. She had some pain medication and offered it to him. "If you need pain meds or anything of the like it's in the front." she told him. As soon as Morgan saw he was alright she headed over to the desk where the woman in outfit was standing. Excuse me miss she said hesitating. We miss some stuff... a lot of stuff actually Indiana also came over. The woman asked us what we were missing and the number of our boarding passes. Di, could you get the rest of the people who were missing things because we need some information. . She realy hoped for Zach's and James' sake their instruments would be returned because she didn't want those two to end up in a mental hospital.

James

God, yes please. Indiana said when he offered her the drink. My drums aren't here... he said in a childish depressed kind of way. It was nice to be able to talk to Indiana. Di always seemed to be there for him. It was nice to have her by his side. As much as he enjoyed the very short conversation, Di stood up and went over to Morgan who was talking to the lady at the desk. Just behind him Dan was in pain. Di just offered him some pain medication but James wanted to make shure he was okay. Poor lad.

Dan gave a tired, thankful smile to Indiana as he forced his breathing back to normal. His heart rang pain through his chest everytime it pushed out on his lungs but he bent to rummage through her bag to find the afformentioned pain medication. Dan then looked up to Sutton giving him a more pained smile. He stole Sutton's energy drink and popped some of the pills, then returned it.
"Do you know where my ADHD meds are? Do we have the bag?" He tried not to show the fear in his eyes. Missing his equipment fo a few days was fine. He could survive that. Missing his cancer medication? That could be bad. Very bad.

"I'll be fine, Mi," Dan said, smiling a little and pushing her water back toward her. He ignored the pain and put on his usual grin, scratching the back of his head. He looked over to the bag and shook his head. "It's alright. I can go a couple days without them, right? Ha! You'll just have to deal with me being way more hyper than usual, yknow? Thanks for looking though, cutie. It might turn up. Hey, Su, Mi, you wanna go wait by the carousel to see if we can track down anymore bags?" He shrugged a little, his usual smile faltering with his inhales.

Indiana Scarlett Carver

Indiana nodded at Morgan's instructions and went back over to the group. She stood between them all and said "If you're missing your stuff head over to the desk with Mo. There's some info we still need to sort through" she headed back over to James and gave him a half smile. "I'm sorry your drums are missing, but the woman told me we should be getting them back soon. They couldn't fit our stuff on our flight" Then her eyes fluttered over to Dan and she extended a hand to him. "Are you feeling well enough to talk to the help desk, or do you want me to do the talking for you?" she asked. He seemed to be in quite a bit of pain and she wondered what caused it. He asked for his ADHD meds like they were the cause but she had never heard of ADHD doing that to someone, but she shrugged it off. 'Maybe anxiety or from the long flight' she thought.

Dan looked at Indiana. "Could you do it? I'm just missing the costumes. That looks like the sound equipment. Let me go grab it. Do you know when our first gig is? Do we have to yknow... get replacements or will our shit get here before we need it? I should start working on replacement costumes anyway... our stuff was getting old." He felt the pain meds kick in a little. "Thanks for the meds, Indie." He handed her his boardingpass and passport. "Since you're all my responsible adults anyway, could you maybe go talk to that lady up there for me? Big yellow suit case is the one we're missin'. The giant one, yknow?" He grinned at her and left personal belongings while he strode toward the carousel to grab the sound equipment and his specially modified (with Sutton's help) lighting equipment. He then rolled both large black cases back toward the band and stopped them there. "Alright. Now what are we missing?"

Noticing Sutton, Dan looked over and raised an eyebrow. He was getting quiet. That was normal, but the set of his mouth showed a little anxiety. Separation anxiety, Dan figured. He stopped trying to arrange the lost bags, he figured the girls (and adults who actually had any sway in the legality of finding bags and such) would handle that and instead he walked back to Sutton. "You wanna use my charger? I gotta converter and stuff in my carry-on yknow. And there's an outlet over there. You could at least get enough charge to make sure no one's tried to talk to you and stuff, yknow?" He rummaged through his bag and pulled out his charger, already plugged into the converter. He handed it to Sutton.

"You wanna use my charger? I gotta converter and stuff in my carry-on yknow. And there's an outlet over there. You could at least get enough charge to make sure no one's tried to talk to you and stuff, yknow?"

Looking over at Dan, Sutton breathed in a sigh of relief, then smiled thankfully. "YES, thank you, who knows how much longer we're gonna be here." Taking the charger from Dan, Sutton made his way over to the wall, away from the commotion, then dropped his bags down with a thud and plugged the converter into the wall. Taking out his own phone, he then plugged it in, and watched as the Apple symbol appeared on the screen. By now, the energy from the Monster gave him a little bit more awareness, but he could still feel the drowsiness threatening to take over at any given moment.

Sigh a sigh, he sat down, then leaned against his bags and tapped in the code, then started scrolling through his messages. As he expected, there was nothing new awaiting him. He glanced up at Dan, then smiled slightly. "Wanna join me?"

Dan grinned, happily collapsing next to Sutton. Standing was more stress on his lungs, his muscles using more oxygen. Leaning back against the wall he closed his eyes and let exhaustion wipe over him. "Thanks. How's your shit? Did they... yknow, lose any of it or are we good on your end. Are you hungry? Thirsty? Need another energy drink? It's kinda cold in here yknow, are you cold? Should we find your jacket and stuff?" he muttered in Sutton's direction. "You're always so quiet. What's in that heada yours right now, Sutton?" He leaned into Sutton's shoulder. "How'd ya like the flight?"

Looking up from his phone, Sutton's lips curled up into a smile, and he locked the screen and set the phone down on his lap. Listening to Dan talk always put him in a good mood, the guy had a way of lighting up a room no matter how down the atomsphere seemed to be. "Slow down, slow down, one thing at a time!" he laughed, then flipped some strands of hair out of his eyes before turning them on Dan again. He felt Dan's weight settling against his shoulder, then bit his lip as he looked down at him, his smile not fading. "Don't worry, I'm not cold, and I'm good on my energy drink," he remarked, then picked up the can to verify the weight. He still had about a quarter of his drink left in the can. "If you want the rest, you can take it," he then offered, and set the can on Dan's side.

"And as for the flight, I loved it, I kind of just let Dubstep tune everything out, that is until my phone died," Sutton sighed, then looked off at nothing. An encounter with Skrillex at one of his concerts changed Sutton's whole out-look on the genre, but of course he wasn't going to brag that he met the Dubstep god. Besides, the people surrounding him at the moment could not seem any less interested in the music, so what was the point of talking about his experiences in front of them. "How about you? You seem worn out...flying not your thing?"

Indiana sighed and shook her head. "Our first gig is supposed to be tomorrow night but it's for a small venue. I'm sure Evony knows more about it than I do...Speaking of...where is she? I'm surprised we haven't heard from her yet..." Just as she spoke Sutton's phone rang and she could tell it was Evony on the other line. She chuckled softly under her breath and shook her head. 'Figures she'd call Sutton...none of the rest of us answer our phones religiously.' she thought.

Indiana headed back over to the help desk and described the luggage they were missing, filled out some paperwork and nodded in Mo's direction. "She seemed more pleasant after I gave her more information. She said they'd be sending us our stuff as soon as it came in. I told her it was urgent but i'm sure she hears that all the time." Her head automatically swiveled back in James' direction and she nodded. "A beer sounds mighty fine right now. I could certainly use one."

Dan smiled at Sutton, then let him take Evony's call. He had a way with their manager and he respected that more than the way anyone else talked to her. He waited, listening to his voice before responding to his previous words. He comfortably relaxed back against the wall, trying to settle his breathing again. "I'm glad the flight was good for you, dude. I mostly just listened to Owl City and played games on my phone til it died. And then yknow, just pulled out the portable dvd player and marathoned Doctor Who. It was great. I've just got a headache and I kinda feel like I'm coming off my meds. God I really hope my bag shows up." He looked around, and gave his bandmates an obviously kidding scowl. "Sure, shove it in the face of the guy who still can't drink, even here." he said, sarcasm dripping friendly from his lips. He rummaged through his carryon one more time, and relaxed, finding his bottle of pills at the bottom. Good. That would keep him until at least whenever the rest of their luggage came in.

With a serious nod at Evony's words, Sutton hung up, then got to this feet again and looked around, dusting his hands off. Evony wanted a list of what everyone was missing, which meant that Sutton had to do what he almost never did and talk to the whole band at the same time. "YO, THAT WAS EVONY," he called out, then looked down at Dan. "Can you get all of em to get over here? Urgent message from the manager. She wants a list of everything we lost and told us to meet at the Servisair Executive Lounge in Terminal One with all the crap we DO have." He opened a new message addressed to Evony and began typing at lightning speed: "I have all of my stuff, Dan is missing some of his tech equipment, then I think everyone else is missing something. I will let you know in a couple."

Having typed that, he turned to look at Naomi, then quickly walked over to her. "What are ya missing again? Manager wants to know so we can get this problem solved as quickly as possible."

This was the good thing about Sutton. When it came to serious times in which action had to be taken, he knew exactly what to do. His leader mode kicked in, reguardless of who he was speaking to at that given time. And if anything, he did not want to let Evony down.

"My fucking big yellow suitcase, my duffel. Zach and James are missing their instruments, and uhhh Naomi's bag," Dan relayed cheerily, popping the correct dose of pills for the day into his mouth and taking a sip of the rest of Sutton's energy drink then handing it back to him. "Tell her we're super hungry, too, yknow. Plane food just doesn't cut it. Or is there gonna be food at this bar? Are they even going to let me in? Is that a thing they do for minors over here?" Dan chuckled, looking around at everyone. "Damn you all look like you've been up for sixteen hours straight."

Looking down at his phone in concentration, Sutton's thumbs worked over the screen as he typed a complete list of what everyone was missing, then sent it to Evony. He watched as the message sent, then looked up at everyone and grabbed his bags, once again shouldering his smallest one. His phone wasn't completely charged, he only got about 20%, and he hated more than anything to unplug it while it was desperately eating away energy from the outlet. This was one of his weird quirks, he treated his technology like it was his child, which meant protecting it.

Groaning, he had no choice but to unplug the phone, then he took out the converter and handed it back to Dan. "Thanks," he simply told him, then pocketed his phone and got ready to follow everyone else. He wasn't too keen on the idea of alcohol at the moment, but he sure as hell wasn't going to be a buzzkill and be the only one who didn't purchase a beer, at least other than Dan.

Dan thought for a long moment while looking over at Naomi after taking his charger back from Sutton. He could go, and could probably charm his way into a drink, but it just didn't seem appealing right now. Maybe it was the way his cancer was flaring in his chest tonight or just the jetlag. "Actually, yknow what? I'm going to take you up on that Naomi. Thanks for the offer." He grabbed his cases and his backpack and walked toward her, a tired smile touching his lips and remaining there comfortably. He started feeling the buzzing from the meds take his head and he nodded vigorously. "I could definitely use somewhere with some peace and quiet. Thanks."

Morgan

Hey, where are you guys going? she asked Dan and Naomi. Evony asked us to wait at the ... what's it called again Sutton? She has all the information and the phone number of the mini van that was supposed to pick us up together with our instruments. Morgan said. They were all walking towards customs trying to get through so they could go to terminal one. She looked over her shoulder to make shure everybody was there. Sutton was walking next to Naomi and James seemed to be talking to Indiana. Morgan looked at her feet while walking. She was quiet because the exhaustion was starting to weigh on her. When she would arrive at the hotel she would just get into her bed and do a nap... or maybe take a bath!

James

Everybody was moving. Where they were going James couldn't care less. He just wanted somewhere to sit... preferably a car that would bring them to their hotel where there would be beds and showers and bahts... no, a bed would already be enough. He was tired. He put his hand on Indiana's head and messed with her hair. So how are you doing? Not too tired I hope? he smiled. The group looked as if they received some shot of energy... or maybe everybody was just exited because they were moving and actualy going somewhere... excited because they were getting out of the airport and officialy into Europe. He was!
