Her mother basically forced her into modeling, it wasn't anything she wanted to be, but she tried it and actually liked it. She has a spot reserved for Victoria Secret modeling when she becomes of age.

Personality: Mellie is a very quiet girl. Ever since she was little she always tried to find acceptance through her parents and idols at school. In elementary, she was never accepted. She was known as the quiet and 'emo' girl. When highschool came around, acceptance was even harder. She never fit in with any group. Her mother became worried that she would never make any friends. When Mellie turned sixteen years old, her mother took her to a photographer to take a few photos and entered Mellie into a contest to become a model at FORD. As you can imagine, Mellie won and was given a spot in the agency. After a few months her appearance became highly known and people were begging for her to be apart of their agency, because of her image. Her image gave her an innocent feel. This was shocking to her mother, and her mother quickly became jealous of her. Mrs. Sampson bought Mellie an apartment in New York and left her alone. Since Mellie is still very quiet, most people that approach her find her 'awkward'. Her only goal was to fit in. She has a quirky and innocent look. If you really get to know her, she is outgoing and her personality really shines. Mellie has never really been around a person with the opposite sex. She never really had any friends. Making friends is difficult for her. She strays away from large groups and is described as a loner. Mellie is also very quick to making decissions and doesn't always think things through.
Likes: Mellie likes to watch the sun rise and watch the sun set, it makes her feel better about who she is and it relaxes her. Her favorite food is Chinese, which she eats very often. She likes to go shopping. It helps her find new things and puts her 'image' out there. The more places she buys from, the more they'll know who she is. She likes walking along the beach at night time and looking at the stars. She also likes cats. She has atleast three cats in her apartment. Mellie likes art and anything that has to do with it. She often takes time to draw and paint beautiful pictures that she keeps around the apartment. She often volunteers her time into helping other people and visiting elder homes to keep them company.
Dislikes: Mellie doesn't like swimming in the ocean. When she was younger, she had a very bad experience. She also doesn't like meeting new people, and being around large crowds. This really frightens her. She didn't like the idea of modeling, but has adapted to it. When she was younger, her mother made her do pagaents. She believes that pagaents bring out the worst in people. Italian food doesn't settle well in her stomach, especially pizza. Technology is another thing, she prefers reading books and spending time at the library.
Fears: Dead bodies, funerals, the ocean and the things inside
Hobbies: When Mellie was at her highschool, she was a competition cheerleader. She isn't really that athletic, but she tried her hardest. She was often the flyer. She loves to draw and she likes to display her work. She hopes to one day show her art at a museum. She also likes to design clothing that she often wears. Modeling is also her hobbie, even though she doesn't like it much, she still does it. Taking care of animals and volunteering is something she does for fun.
Deepest Desires: Mellie hopes to one day start a family of her own and find true love. Until then, she hopes to fulfill the dream of being a Victoria Secret model and to someday show everyone her artwork. She wants to prove to her mother that she can do whatever she wants. She wants to have twin boys and live in Paris.
Why did they become a model/singer/idol: Her mother, Marissa, started her out in pagaents when she was five years old. Once she was eight years old, her mother stopped entering her in pagaents and left her alone for quite some time. In highschool, she was complimented on her 'quirky' feel. Her mother saw an ad in the paper and realized that she could be something special. After asking Melanie, who refused, she entered her into the contest and quickly got pictures. When Mellie found out that she was part of the contest she tried to quit, but couldn't. It was too late. So Mellie stuck with her fate and eventually won the contest by a land slide. Her mother later left her in New York to fend for herself. She recieved a lot of jobs and became aware of Victoria Secret modeling. She still doesn't like to model, but it's what pays the bills.
What genre do you model in most?: Runway and Commercial, she has modeled for car ads that involved Pinup.

Love Interest: She hasn't really spoken to any boy before, and doesn't know her type. She has been on blind dates but she never really talked to any guy before and it's an awkward position for her.
History: Mellie grew up in a town called 'Peoria' in Iowa. She was from a middle class family until her mother recieved a job offer in Washington. Mellie switched schools and moved to Washington with her mother. Her father later passed away from cancer when she was nine years old. Her mother took it very hard and sort of went insane. Mellie was never head of her class and found school a difficult thing for her. She was never good in math but had a skill for history. She never had the chance to go to school often because she never had a ride, her mother was always at work. They later became a richer family because of her fathers will. Marissa, Mellie's mother, entered her into a contest that would help her become a model. Her mother thought it would help her make more friends since she was very quiet in school and people would tease her because of it. Mellie just wanted to do her work and complete highschool, but because of her mother, she was unable to do that. When Mellie found out that she had won the contest, she was immediantly shipped away to New York to start working on her current job with FORD modeling agency. Mellie never really liked anything her mother made her do. She hopes to one day quit modeling completely and become an artist. Supporting her family will be easy because she has saved up most of her money. She never really talked to anyone when she was younger and she never had any friends in highschool. Talking to people is something difficult for her. If Mellie could change anything, it would be her career.
