Mika "Mai" Tanaka

Mika looked down and fingered the envelope in her hands. The results of the soulmate quiz had just been passed out, and now she was sitting in class staring down at the envelope that held the name of the person that she would be stuck with for a long time. Jeez, why did it have to be me that was send here? she thought. Maybe she could get out of here and find a blank canvas to paint or something... Or maybe a rose, since for some odd reason she enjoyed splatter painting white roses.

To tell the truth, Mika rather be anywhere other than this academy. Getting a soulmate just over a simple quiz? Stupid. Then the worst part... you had to get engaged to them no matter who it was... If she had gotten some freak as her soulmate, the rest of her life would be hell. A life of misery, and Mika exactly didn't want that to happen.
When Mika looked back down at her envelope, she quietly ripped open the enveloped and unfolded the paper inside. Her eyes drifted over the paper, only to see the name:

Noah Davey

"Who in the world is Noah Davey...?" she mumbled to herself as she looked up and around the room. She didn't know any of the other students at the academy, so she probably had no idea who her soulmate was. So Mika just folded the paper back up and put it back in the envelope and put her elbows on the desk in front of her, resting her head on her hands. Maybe her soulmate knew who she was, and would find her.

Michi Arsov

Michi Arsov was tired. This was the first thought he'd had every morning since first coming to the school. He had to set a time he could wake up every morning, and since 8 was too late, he had no choice but to get up at 6am. Also, with the sudden room change, it took forever for him to fall asleep. The good point was he was already handsome and ready to go by the time class started, but understandably, Michi was tired.

He was taking his time in the hallway that day. He had just finished adjusting to the school, and today, he got his roommate. Or, as the school decided to call it, his soulmate. Michi honestly wasn't terribly worried about that. He figured he would meet the person, and hopefully would feel the same way he did about the whole thing. They would get along fine, of that he was sure, and he could go along with his business while they went along with their's. In no way, shape, or form did he take any of it seriously. He knew his father would be disappointed when he didn't bring home a bride, but what could he do? Well, besides things WAY out of his comfort zone. Frankly, his family wasn't worth that.

Yawning, he stretched his arms while simultaneously the hat that had been sitting on his head was snatched off. Looking up, he noticed a female teacher, probably for English or something.

"No hats in school," she reminded him. The teachers here were all oddly young for some reason, but she was on the older side of all of them, probably in her early 40's. Michi grinned at her and scratched his head.

"I'm sorry Ma'am," he replied bashfully. "But it was calling me today and you can't just ignore the call of fashion, can you?" Across the hall, two girls who were eavesdropping giggled. He noticed the teacher's mouth twitch. Hook, line, and sinker.

"Alright, I'll give it back, but don't wear it until you're back at the dorm," she warned. He nodded dutifully, took the hat, and spent the next few minutes talking to the girls before finally stepping into the classroom, two new numbers in his cell phone.

"Good morning!" he said cheerfully to everyone he passed by. He sat down in his seat and looked at the envelope on his desk. Please don't be expecting something he thought mentally, before ripping it open.

Lily Barton

Lily was a cute name, he thought happily. Did he know a Lily? He didn't think so, but it wouldn't be hard to find out.

"Does anyone know who Lily Barton is?!" he called out, smiling. Their teacher hadn't arrived yet, and as such, he considered himself free to socialize.

Miss Leonie Lynette

Black flats hit the tile floor as Lynette ran toward her dance room which her class was currently in. Earlier Lynette had a call about her farther being in hospital so of course she answered, but turn out to be a trick from her parents to make her finally answer their calls. Oh Hijia! Your finally making something of yourself! For a moment we thought you lied about your job and actually was pole dancer. We are so proud of you! Lynette wanted to be mad and deep down she was furious but, she laughed and hang up. Unfortunately one of people at the desk glared at her, making her feel like one of the students. So Miss Leonie Lynette is racing to her class.

" HELLO BOYS AND GIRLS!" Lynette busted through the doors of her room full of young teens sitting blue chairs - no desk- either talking loudly or sitting quietly. As Leonie Lynette browns swept over the teenagers a burst of excitement went through her body; She couldn't help but hold her cheeks and smile widely. " Aaaw, don't you all look so cute."

Lynette walked to the very front of the class with all eyes on her , even through there was still some people whispering. "I'm Miss Leonie Lynette or just Miss Lynette. I will be your music and dance teacher for the year. Just like some of you, I'm new to the school so I realize this whole soulmate thing is a bit...distracting. Even so don't let it be the end of world or anything. Think of it as assigned best friend for a while.” Everyone went completely quiet so Lynette paused for a moment before continuing.

“ Now I would like to move on to some rules and some expectations for this school year. Is their any comments or questions?" While Lynette introduce herself, she helpless fidgeted with her own envelope.

Jenny Hawk

Jenny merely looked down at the envelope in her hands. She fiddled with the corners and sides until they were all wrinkly. She knew what was inside, but she didn't want to open it and reveal her soulmate. Maybe if I just don't open it, I can get kicked out and go home... but they would just send me to another school anyway. She sighed as she thought about her parents. They had sent her here just to get her out of their lives, that is, their 'perfect family life'. She had apparently ruined it by being born different from her mindless siblings, and now she was stuck at a school for soulmates. Plus she knew that once she got out of the school she would be on her own and disowned from the family, if she wasn't already.

Jenny let out a sigh and pulled a letter opener from her bag. She had it for this specific purpose and had made sure to get her family's most antique and precious letter opener in a small revenge. She placed the dull blade at the corner and slid it across the opening, making a smooth cut through the top. She clenched her lips together as she pulled out the paper that would change her life forever.

Ginji Ichiro Jayson

Jenny blinked at the name. She didn't know anyone in the school, so how was she supposed to find this guy. She shivered slightly at the chance that it could be a girl with a guy's name. She put the paper back in and looked down at her guitar case. May as well. I definitely need to calm down, and maybe it would actually help the others relieve tension too. Jenny pulled the case on her lap and snapped it open. She pulled out a pure black guitar and put the case back on the ground under the desk. She pulled the guitar pick from the strings and strummed to make sure it was in tune. Once she twisted the tuners a bit, she began playing a song on the guitar and singing to it.

I am unwritten, can't read my mind, I'm undefined
I'm just beginning, the pen's in my hand, ending unplanned
Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find
Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions
Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
The rest is still unwritten...

Jenny calmed as she sang and played, a smile creeping onto her face as her eyes closed and she continued singing, increasing the tempo of the song a bit.

Noah Davey

Noah anxiously awaited with open hands for the envelope to be dropped in his hands. As the teacher was making his way around the room, he took a look around at those who already received theirs. Some looked nervous and almost unwilling to check the name inside. Some had already opened it and seen the name, looking lost and confused by the name inside. There were a couple that look excited about the one chosen for them, but then there were just an equal amount that looked disappointed even. As for Noah, he was excited. He wanted to see who the lucky one was who got to be graced with his adorable presence.

Finally, the envelope was handed to him. By this point, Noah was practically bouncing out of his seat with joy--even though he hadn't even opened it up to read the name yet. Just the fact that this was happening was exciting. This wasn't boring at all! It was exciting. Why couldn't some of these depressing people realize that? With a shrug, he tore the envelope open and slipped the name out, closing his eyes and taking a breath to calm himself. When he opened his eyes, he read the words across the paper and grinned.

Mika Tanaka

His grin never faded as he continued to stare at the paper and read the name over and over again. "I have absolutely no idea who this is," he said cheerily to himself. He shook the stupid look off his face and glanced around the room. There were plenty of girls in the class--and Mika was obviously a girl's name. Well, Noah supposed it could be a dude's name if the guy had parents who hated him.So nobody was coming to mind. He didn't recognize any of these people and, evene more, he'd never spoken to a single one of them. He meant to, he really had, but when he got to class the envelopes were being passed out and he just got so excited, he forgot. Sighing lightly to himself, he mentally hoped whoever this was wasn't a drag. That would just be the absolute worst. He'd file for divorce right away, before they even got married. Tch, marriage was over-rated anyway. He wasn't here for that. He was here to mess things up, to flirt it up with some people! Yeah, so the fiance-pairing thing was a nice extra feature, but he didn't really care about Mika anyway. He cared about Mika and Bobby and Lucy and Sarah and Gene and all these other people--whatever their names were. He bet he could get every single one of them.

Deciding he wasn't going to meet his supposed soul-mate by sitting around gawking, Noah pushed himself up to his feet and scanned the crowd of teens. He started with the desk closest to him, leaning over it and propping his chin up with his hand. He met the eyes of the boy who called out asking for the name of some girl Lily or something. "You can call me whatever you wanna," he said, snickering. "You wouldn't happen to know a Mika Tanaka, would you?" His grin widened. "Could it be you? It is such a cuute name for a guy, after all." Okay, so that was a bit of a lie. Noah thought it was an embarrassing name for a guy, and he highly doubted Mika was this kid, but there was only one way to figure these things out and so that was what he was doing.

Valentina Gregory
Valentina was sitting in her first class of the day: Music and Dance. Perfect for the talented star she was…and in fact, she was quite looking forward to it. She was also looking forward to opening her Soulmate Envelope. Far from a romantic, she was just wildly curious. She glanced around the room where people were all looking at their letters, some behaving a little foolishly.

Well, here goes nothing, she thought, and ripped open her letter.

Carter Montgomery

That name sounds like old money to me, she smiled to herself, secretly. All I can say is he better be handsome. I can have my pick of men, and then to be forced to be engaged to someone ugly…I wouldn’t even. The truth was, Valentina had dated a lot of guys. All of them rich, all of them handsome. She didn't settle for anything less than the best. Of course...she did choose to come to this academy on her own, though she'd never admit it to ANYONE. Even perfect girls get lonely. And between the way her parents ignored her, and the idiots she had always dated--okay, the weren't really the best. They were good looking and rich, sure, but they also cheated, did drugs, got insanely drunk. And hey, just because she was the mean girl didn't mean she was into do stupid things that would ruin her life or dreams. Still. I hope this Carter knows what hit him.

"HELLO BOYS AND GIRLS!,” yelled the teacher, walking into the room. She introduced herself to the room, and asked if there were any questions or comments.
Yeah, thought Valentina, as her mind was pulled back to her real true love--performing, you’ve just met a star.

Miss Leonie Lynette

Lynette told eveyone some basic rules that were bascally common sense, also explained things that are going to happen in the class, like on Mondays-Wednesdays they will usually work on dancing while on Thursday-Friday they will work on music. There no worry if your a person who doesn't get something right away, " It's okay if you mess up at first. This is class about improving." Lynette explained.

After gladly and excitly answering questions along with joking around with some kids. Lynette gave them about 30 or so minutes of free time to do whatever. Thankfully giving her time to sit at her desk and have a staring contest with her envelope. Okay Leonie, you can do this. All you need to is open the damn thing and read! You can read right? Right?... YES YOU CAN!

Lynette toke a deep breath then held as she slowly open the lid. Her hand shaking, sweat coming down her brow, and her heart thumbing loudly....

Michi Arsov

Michi looked up as he was suddenly addressed by a guy with blonde hair... oh, who was he kidding, a rather cute guy with blonde hair. He was sitting next to the boy and looking just as amused about the whole situation as Michi was. He grinned at the guy's carefree attitude and laughed when he lied through his teeth about the name (or he had a terrible taste in names). Ah, casual flirters were always so much fun.

He bit down on his lip slightly, in that coy sort of way people do when being flirted with, and replied, "Oh, I wish it was so. A name like Mika and I'd never have to sleep alone." He laughed again, just slightly. He didn't want to seem like he was coming onto the guy after all. He was just playing along, and god forbid he got taken seriously. Anyone who knew Michi of course knew to never take him seriously, but as strangers, it was always a possibility he'd go from just silly to a tease, and that wouldn't do.

"Since you're asking me about a Mika though, I'm guessing you don't know a Lily," he continued, then sighed dramatically. “Oh well, if she’s my soulmate, fate’ll bring us together eventually. I’m Michi, and though your offer makes me very tempted to draw from my arsenal of nicknames, I think it’s easiest to use your name?” He turned the statement into a question, looking at the boy meaningfully while he waited for an answer.

Mika "Mai" Tanaka

As Mika thought of things she could do once she got out of the classroom, she heard someone ask if some other guy knew who she was. When she looked over where she heard it, she saw a guy with blonde hair leaning on a desk talking to another guy who had brown hair. The blonde haired one seemed to be flirting with the other, and Mika could tell that he was her soulmate, since she had heard him asking if the other kid knew her.
Sighing, Mika stood up. Of course, she had been paired with the one who would flirt with every passing soul, and probably would flirt with her too, but would be off flirting with some other guy or girl the next day. People like that bugged her, and now he was going to be her soulmate. Great... she thought. I'm stuck with the casual flirter...

Mika grabbed the paper with the name of her soulmate on it off of her desk, and then walked over to where the two were talking. The brown haired one apparently had a soulmate named Lily from what he said, so he wasn't going to be Noah. Turning to the blonde haired kid, Mika held up the paper. "Are you Noah Davey?" she asked. "I'm Mika Tanaka."

Carter Montgomery

Carter's posture and body language right now mirrored exactly how he was feeling about the damned letters they'd just handed out. Shoulders slouched, head cocked to the side with an not-so-amused raised eyebrow glaring down at the object in his hand. He ran a calloused thumb over the smooth paper up until he touched at the raised piece that once lifted would reveal who the school had stuck him with for the rest of his life. Tch He thought, feeling a wave of stubbornness wash over him. If he didn't want to spend the rest of his life with the girl - and most likely he wouldn't - then he wouldn't. What was the worst could they do? Fail him? Kick him out? Either wasn't much of threat.

Finally though as his blue eyes flickered around the room to notice people chatting amongst themselves, mumblings names, or simply calling out as they tried to figure out who their assigned soul mate was. ..Assigned soul mate. Something about being told who your suppose to spend the rest of your life with and that you have no choice in the matter frustrated Carter. IF he was going to feel that way about someone, he wasn't about to be told who to feel that way about. Standing up, before class had begun the eighteen year old stuffed the letter in his back pocket, slung his bag over his shoulder and stalked out of the classroom. No way. He still had rights. Before he dare to open that letter he was going to argue this with the Principle, or the Vice Principle, or whoever the hell you had to talk to around here that dealt with this bullshit. He was going to simply put the unopened envelope on their desk and see what consequences were in store.

Noah Davey

Oh, and that cute way he bit down on his bottom lip--that was a clincher. Noah knew he was in. Base command, we have lift off, he mentally reported to himself. A cocky smirk crept up his face as he notably listened in to what the boy was saying, leaning slightly forward, eyelids half dropped. It was all to show the speaker that he was listening. Who knew where this conversation could lead, after all. "Oh, I wish it was so. A name like Mika and I'd never have to sleep alone." Noah snickered at his clever retorts. The boy was joking around--and Noah thought it was funny. It was certainly better than listening to that loud teacher in the background. "Since you're asking me about a Mika though, I'm guessing you don't know a Lily," the boy continued. Noah shook his head slowly. “Oh well, if she’s my soulmate, fate’ll bring us together eventually. I’m Michi, and though your offer makes me very tempted to draw from my arsenal of nicknames, I think it’s easiest to use your name?”

Too bad, Noah found himself thinking. He seemed really caught up in this other soul mate business. Maybe Noah was just reading him wrong, though. He never really was one to be easily deterred. Just because the person he was talking to was thinking about someone else, it didn't mean he couldn't change that thought process. Oh, right. "Name's Noah," he replied, more casually this time. "And don't think too much of this soulmate stuff. I'm not here to get married. I'm here for...," he trailed off to think of a proper choice of words, continuing with a smile, "entertainment purposes."

This entire school was a joke to him. He found it hard to take this whole soulmate and 'love' business seriously. After all, it hardly made any sense to him that a man who couldn't get a so-called soulmate himself could get one for others. How would he know? Who was this man to choose it for them? Exactly, Noah kept thinking, it had to be a joke. The ones taking any of this seriously were suckers that were going to get their hearts broken--not that he'd know the feeling.

He caught the eye of someone as they walked towards them and the instant he saw her, he knew it had to be Mika Tanaka. "Are you Noah Davey?" the girl asked and Noah had to keep himself from blowing the wolf whistle. "I'm Mika Tanaka." Well, of course you are, he thought, giving her a not-so-inconspicuous once over.

"Hellooo, Nurse," he greeted. "I could be whoever you want me to be." Winking, he added. "But, yeah, I'm Noah. Aren't we the lucky ones, huh? You get a drop-dead gorgeous guy like me and I get this curvaceous doll face here." He looked her in the eyes and gave her his best grin. "I'm sure we'll have a blast."

Lily Barton

Lily walk down the hallway minding her own business. Her long orange her brushed against her back as she walked. She had her hair down and was wearing a light pink dress that looked absolutely adorable on her. Really, Lily looked good in anything she wore because she was so small and cute. Her big blue eyes widen as she saw a girl and her friend looking at thier envelopes together. Lily became even more nervous as she already wasI really hope he likes me. Lily had been nervous since this morning she didn't eat anything for breakfast. Lily knew she couldn't be worried yet she didn't even know who her soulmate. She made her way to the classroom entrance. Lily took a deep breath and opened the door.

Lily walked in, to see everyone of her classmates talking to each other they all seemed excited to know the results of the quiz. But, she knew some people might have trouble finding their soulmates if they didn't even have a clue who they were.I hope I can find my soulmate Lily said in a quiet voice. She went over to her teacher's desk."Good morning Lily" the teacher said in a deliteful tone."Good morning" Lily said in her sweet voice."I know your anxious to know who your soulmate" she sid while pulling out a enevlope with her name on it from a box." Hear you go, Good luck Lily" she said handing her the envelope. Lily took the envelope from her hands gently "Thank you."Lily walked over to her desk and sat down.

She took another deep breath "time to find out" she said to herself. Lily opened the letter gently, she took out the piece of paper. She skimmed over the letter to see in bold letters
Michi Arsov
Lily blushed a little knowing this person was her soulmate. Lily looked absolutely adorable when she blushed. She didn't know who he was "Maybe the teacher would know" Lily walked back over to the teacher but finds her talking to another student. Lily didn't want to bother so she decided to do some searching on her own. The only problem was there were alot of boys in her class.I guess I'll choose at random Lily looked around the room to find a boy with brown hair and decided to go up and talk to him. Lily walked over to him feeling nervous and blushing even more. She clenched the paper in her little hands, then tapped him on the his shoulder with her small hands. Michi Arsov

Michi snorted as he listened in on the boy, Noah, and his "soulmate's" introductions. Well, he really only laughed at Noah. The boy was not any kind of subtle, which he personally enjoyed, but for most girls that did an excellent job of pissing them off. He wanted to tell Noah how much he agreed with him about the soulmate thing (Michi was heavily sarcastic sometimes and forgot people didn't know him well enough to realize), but he didn't want to awkwardly intrude on the conversation, so he merely turned back around to doodle on the corner of the desk.

It was then he suddenly felt a tiny tap on his shoulder. Turning his head, his initial reaction was Does this school have an elementary section? Standing in front of him was a girl who, amazingly, was at his shoulders in height were he to stand up. With thin wrists, thin legs, thin everything, the girl could only be described as tiny. She was also looking nervous, the way she hesitantly looked at him with the only large thing on her body: her eyes.

"Umm... are you Michi Arsov?" she asked, her voice almost inaudible the quiet way she spoke. Internally, he couldn't help but wonder if the Principal took his application and decided he'd make a good babysitter. He had a feeling this girl was delicate.

Flashing her his brightest, friendliest smile, he replied, "Nice guess. You must be Lily then?" He turned his whole body to face her, still looking as friendly as possible. "I'm super lucky to have been paired with someone so cute! It's great to meet you Lily." He really meant that. She looked really sweet, at least as far as first impressions went. He had planned to explain to his partner once they got back to their room how he felt about the whole soulmate business, but now he wasn't so sure. If she took it seriously... well, making a girl like that cry would make him feel awful. He'd have to find out how she felt about the whole thing first, and then plan out how he was going to keep his freedom without hurting her feelings.

Riordan stared down at the rectangular white envelope that sat in the middle of his polished oak desk. It had been there when he arrived that morning, and even though it only has his name written on it, he knew perfectly well where it came from. The school board. It was most likely another one of their ‘threatening’ letters. Riordan briefly consider throwing it away, but decided against it. What if it was something important? So he neatly ripped the top off the thing, and jiggled the envelope to let a small slip of paper flutter back to the desk. Riordan tossed the envelope aside, adjusted his glasses, and pulled the paper closer.

Leonie Lynette

What? He frowned. Wasn’t she the new dance teacher? Riordan flipped the paper over, puzzled. What about her? He even looked inside the envelope to see if he missed something, but that was it. Frown deepening, he ripped the envelope in half, discovering words written on the inside.

Please treat your new soulmate kindly.

Riordan froze. No way. He could hear his life crashing down on him. When had he taken the test!? This was impossible! No, he had not taken the test, so it must be some kind of hoax. It had to be. So he was safe, for now. But…. Riordan pressed the intercom button he used to talk to his secretary. “Mrs. Scott? Could you please send up the files on our new dance teacher, Ms. Lynette?” Moments later the elderly woman bustled in, keeping her eyes downcast as she gently placed the folder on his desk.

“Sir, could I ask why?”, she said shyly, still not looking up. Riordan sighed. His secretary was the head grape of the gossip vine, and had caused him trouble before. Most likely she would assume something if he didn’t come up with a good reason for wanting Lynette’s folder. “I just wanted to double check her references….” Riordan flipped the folder open, showing a surprisingly young woman’s picture paper clipped to her files.
“She is new, after all. Perhaps I should go and check up on her first class?” See what kind of person the school board is trying to chain him to. Mrs. Scott, no doubt eager to go on the phone while he was away, nodded. “That sounds good. After all, she is young and might be inexperienced. But then again, she is the dance teacher….”

Riordan waved her away. “Very well then. You are excused.” He got up, tucked the envelope and letter carefully into his pocket, and herded the secretary out his office doors.

Miss Leonie Lynette

" I think I'm in love..." With her job that is. Lynette felt so excited and happy when some students would come up to her and ask her questions about almost anything. Maybe because she's young or just extremely nice. Lynette put on some music by Adele ( her favorite romance singer) along with a few clean rock songs by My Chemical Romance. Most of kids played and joked talking to one another. Some others just sat back, and watch the others as they wondered who in the world is their soul mate. At one point Lynette tried to cheer up one student up and get them to smile at least once. They gave a small smile so, Lynette left them alone and moved on.

Unfortunately class is almost over- even though it didn't stop Lynette from dancing with some of the students. Giving some advice here and there. When our lovely dance teacher was all pooped out she sat in the closet chair laughing. Right on cue someone had walk in.

" Hello Mr. Kellard." Lynette stood up and quickly walked to the him smiling kindly with a slight worried expression. Did I do something wrong? Did one of my students did something without me knowing it? Wait... Miss Lynette eyes wondered to her "soul mate's" name on it. The teacher let out a soft "oh" before returning back to eye contact.

Lynette didn't really care about the whole soul mate thing. It's like ' Don't hate it but I don't like' kind of thing. And Riodern doesn't seem like the kind of guy to care. Even though Lynette doesn't know him personally ( that might change) but she can infer that he mostly business. He a principal at a very young age, when Lynette was seventeen she barely knew how to drive.

Plus I heard he is very strict. I think I can handle him though.

Ahhh... Crapcrapcrapcrap.

Felice glanced at her watch as she hastened through the rain, and into the warm building. Shedding her raincoat while she jogged squeakily across the polished floors, the Vice Principle slid into the main office, waving cheerily at the office clerk as she rushed into her office. "Good morning Joe!" "Mornin' Felice." The clerk laughed, as the flustered girl disappeared into the smaller room. Damn, I need to hurry... She threw her wet jacket beside her desk, carefully retrieving the documents from her shoulder bag. That's what you get for staying up so late to do paperwork. Felice frowned, pulling off her boots, and haphazardly tugged on a pair of flats. It's not my fault he demands such a high level of excellence... She huffed as she pulled a comb quickly through her damp locks. You know, I don't think Riordan likes me. Felice glared at the tall, imposing wooden doors across the hall.
Really now. What gives you that impression..?

Sighing, she stood and set her face into it's usual expressionless facade. Grasping the papers firmly at her hip, she approached the doors, and knocked twice. No reply. "Sir. I have the paperwork you requested." her voice clipped, exacting, professional. Perfect. She waited, the room remaining silent before her. Frustrated, Felice jiggled the door handle, only to find it locked. Returning to the main office, Felice gave Joe a dirty look. The man threw up his hands, smiling; "Hey, don't get mad. I was going to tell you, but you ran off."

Irritated, she cut his chuckles short; "Just tell me where he went." The clerk sighed waving lazily towards the office entrance; "left a while ago, that direction." Felice could feel a headache coming on. Of course. It can never be easy with him, can it? "Yeah. Thanks Joe. You're always so helpful." She shut the door before she could catch his remark, stalking off down the hallway. Felice wrung her damp hair in her hand unconsciously as she peered into each classroom. It was hard to miss the stoic, Icicle-King; all she had to do was come across the right classroom.
