Sethic'audun sat on a ridge of her home in the underworld. It has been hundred years since she was summoned to the human world. She watched from a mirror as the humans went about their daily lives. "Ages upon ages of their evolution and their desires, wants, and needs never change. Greed, lust, anger.....*sigh* humans. They are all alike." Sethic'audun said with a bored temperment.

A little imp minion came over to her. "There is sure to be a Lord from the human world that will soon call upon you soon mistress. Just you wait." She gave the small imp a quick smile then looked back into the mirror. "Pathetic creatures. I hate how I become weak when I am forced into human form. I would rather torch the whole human world, then our underworld would be bathed in souls. But that stupid Godic Law prevents us from going up there willingly." Sethic'audun growled meliciously.

Poison Ivy laughed at the other demon's words as she stared into the portal that separated and protected both worlds. "Why can't we just summon the worthless beings to do our biddings? They are stupid enough to believe anything they are fed on a silver platter," Poison glared longingly at the mirror. "It's been a while since my last soul. I miss the taste," she whispered touching her lip.

She stroked the imp's awkward head. "Will you find me a soul to devour?" She giggled menacingly. The little creature wiggled under her gaze. Poison was a sassy demon when not in a mission. She walked around stroking her own ego and scaring the little dumber minions that were banished to hell because of their human sins. The various creatures that turned up in her home never ceased to amaze her. They usually ended up twisted and evil, full of deep malice. They calmed their aura in time though.

Sethic'audun did a small smirk. "Good to see you too Ivy. As for us summoning....that too would just cause us trouble with the Godic Law and get us turned to ash. We are suppose to only go when they summon us....." She said with a sigh. "I would rather not get turned to ash." Sethic'audun looked up at Ivy from where she was sitting. "So what brings you to my neck of the underworld?" She asked with a smirk still on her face.

Vincent walked threw the underworld, waiting for something interesting to happen. As was common, he was walking with his pet imp resting on his shoulder, in his human form. Not many demons chose to use their human forms, but it still felt more... comfortable, or atleast more familiar to him.
"I wonder if I will get a summons any time soon. Maybe a young lord will need some help... or just want to experience being a big mac." Vinny said to noone in particular. As he continued his aimless walk, he heard to people speaking near the portal.
"Good to... Ivy..." said one person.
"So...you... the underworld" said the other.
He had a hard time hearing, so he decided to investagate. After a few moments, he found two demons near the portal, talking.
"Hey, whats up? anything interesting going on?"

Sethic'audun looked and saw Vincent...in his human form. "Oh nothing much. Just watching the ants scurry about in the short lives." She said with a bored look. "I heard a rumor that a daughter of a lord might be doing a summons here soon. I am surprised considering that her soul has been pure thus far. Perhaps you'll get summoned by her Vincent." Sethic said as she watched the said girl through the mirror.
------------------------------------------
The girl was a young teen, about fourteen to be exact. She was a lonely girl who mostly took care of her parents who were both ill with fevers. Her sky blue eyes and long light brown hair would shimmer in the daytime when she was outside. She usually work light green or pink with white dress, as her status of a daughter of a lord that was not yet ready to be suited by men. Her name was Annalith Hansford. Her father Gerald Augustus Hansford was a high ranking delagate in Parlament and was said that he could become Prime Minister under the King's command.

Annalith was worried because both of her parents had caught the Spanish Flu and were very sick with high fevers. Doctors who were picked out, quarantined her parent's bedroom and kept her away unless they needed her to get an important medicine. She was usually stayed in her room, looking out the window, hoping for some kind of miracle to occur that would save her parents. She had thought about trying to do a summons of a demon, but knew the consequences of a contract with a demon, but her parents might be running out of time. She pulled out a piece of paper and her quill pin. She also grabbed a book she had borrowed from the library under the persona that she was told to by a priest to learn what never to do. She drew a large symbol on the paper, a summoning symbol. "Demons from below, hear my plea. I seek aid from you in my most dire of hours. Please come and for a time, aid me in what I desire." She said as she placed a drop of her blood upon the symbol.

Poison Ivy just grinned. "Exploring," she replied simply to Sethic'audun. Her gaze was still on the portal and it's human inhibitants. She stopped stroking the imp and let it scurry away. "Vinny," she replied with slight happiness in her voice. "I want to take the summons first," she said almost jokingly, but seriousness held in her voice.

"Oh, look," her voice grew silent as the mirror focused on the girl with dying parents. "She's trying to summon one of us. You can have her," she mumbled. She prefered her Masters a bit older since she still deemed the girl a child. "Although, her parents are running out of time. I see a space for them here. I don't think they can be saved," she almost felt sad for the girl. She was willing to trade her soul in for theirs. Such a loving daughter.

Annalith kept repeating the chant, hoping that her plea would be answered. She just had to save her parents. With each repeat, tears started to fall down her cheeks. "Please....come...and for a time....aid me...in what I desire...." She kept pleading over and over again.

Lucas looked over the destroyed room that once served as the records room in the back of the library, the room he had fallen asleep in when his siblings were killed. The first thing he had done upon returning home from his time with his Uncle was to remove the record books and tear through the biblical texts he found among the shelves, littering the floor with old papers that were now crumpled and stained with mud from his boots. The walls had been slashed with a sword and now bore the names of the Disraeli family members that had died all the way back to the Victorian age though Nichole and Mathew's names stood most prominent among them, a reminder of what he was doing this for.

On the heavy oak table in the center of the room Lucas had dripped wax in a circle and written within it the name of every demon listed in the holy books and literature alike to try and make a connection. Shutting and locking the heavy door to the room Lucas approached the table with a shaky breath, looking up at the names on the wall for a long moment before pressing his hand to the center of the circle of names. Drawing out a needle Lucas pricked the skin at the tip of each finger and let the few drops of blood that formed outline his hand in the circle.

"I forsake God and His words. I forsake the paradise of Heaven and the punishment of Hell. I forsake the Saint whose name I took for my own. I forsake the linage of my family and the future of my bloodline."

The words were old things he'd read in the books bound in leather and locks, things Lucas wasn't even sure would work but he was willing to try.

"I have lost those I hold most dear to me and with them all my ties to this world but my hate so hear me demons that prey on the weakest of humans. I offer my soul for a price to whom might take it. Give me vengeance on the men whom took my siblings from me and the power to shape the crown as I see fit."

Sethic'audun smiled at the one called Lucas from her end. "I will gladly take this one." She said and opened the portal and went through it to claim the summons that Lucas was doing. It took a minute for the portal to open up to the room where Lucas was at. "Greetings mortal. You have summoned me. I am called Sethic'audun as my demon name. While I am here in the mortal world, you shall call me Amber Dawnstar. Speak of what has happened more about your family." Sethic asked the boy.
--------------------------
Annalith collapsed to her knees. She was exhausted, yet she still continued to repeat the summoning phrase. Mentally, she wasn't ready to give up, but physically she was tired beyond belief.

Lucas took a half step back when Sethic'audun appeared before him before he remembered himself and stood firm. Keeping his eyes locked on the demon he spoke. "I was once kind and in my kindness offered three men shelter from the snow in my house as I had done many times before. These three men betrayed me though and slaughtered my younger sister and brother, neither of which knew how to fight with gun nor sword."

Here Lucas paused as if in pain before speaking further. "My Uncle claimed I suffered from madness when the murders were allowed to walk free and I tried to take the blood debt rightfully owed to me. England took from me my beloved sibling, my kindness, and my justice."

Sethic'audun smirked at the boy. "You realize that if you want to go through with creating the contract, that when the terms are complete, I claim your soul. Is this understood?" She told him. She made a contract sheet appear in front of the boy. "This contract states that I will stay with you until the goals you seek that were part of the summons are complete." She also made a red feathered quill pen appear. "This pen will siphon some blood for you to sign your full name."
----------------------------------------------
Annalith kept repeating the summons within her mind as she had been going at it for many hours now. She had period reports that her parents were still staying strong. She laid down on the floor in front of the table she had been using.

Azzael was a high class demon. Lurking in the darkness of the underworld maybe be for some, wallowing in fire and tormented souls, but not for Azzael. The Underworld actually featured several nice palaces and a pretty spiffy capital. Now, its not like Azzael owned any of these nice bindings, but somehow he managed to find reasons to hang around and crash on peoples couches. As he was doing right now. Beelzebub had kicked him out multiple times in the last week, but Azzael always seemed to show up the next day anyway. Unlike Azzael, Beelzebub had importance officer related business to deal with most of the day, so Azzael took the liberty of reliving him of most of his liquor and expensive cigars. This was the life.

But even this mooching got old for Azzael. Earth typically provided more choice, and easier access, to high quality vanities. Azzael couldn't get the thoughts about gourmet food and fine narcotics off his mind.

Checking his expensive watch, Azzael wondered if anyone planned to summon him in the near future. The underworld was getting old and Azzael need a change of scenery. Some earth girls would be nice for a change and he missed his sports cars. The underworld really wasn't what it was cracked up to be...

((please try and remember this is the victorian age of england....no sports cars yet :) :P and also Annalith is trying to summon if anyone wants to take it))

Annalith went back to her paper and made another summoning symbol, placed another couple drops of blood and repeated her summoning phrase. "Demons from below, hear my plea. I seek aid from you in my most dire of hours. Please come and for a time, aid me in what I desire." She pleaded as loud as she could without any of the servants or anything hearing her. "Please hear my plea."

((waaait wait wait... so if it's Victorian aged England, then why does it say 2033 on the intro? aldfadfadfhuo that's rather confusing :C ))

Hazel stood by the window near her bed, hands held softly on it as she looked down at the city below. It was daylight out, but the clouds seemed to roll in ominously and without warning. This depressed the young girl. She had hoped the sun would decide to stay a little longer, but as usual nothing in life did what anyone wanted it. With a heavy sigh she made her way to the bed she'd been sitting in prior. The soft plush of the bed and blankets caressed her rear, was as if she was sitting on a cloud. Some of the space on the bed was occupied by various books of the underworld and demons, even a few of how to summon them. These books were he last hope at survival, for her cancer was slowly chipping away at her life with each passing day.

"I guess it's time," she spoke softly as she got up off her bed, causing a few book to stir. There was a cleared spot on the floor where she'd removed everything, even the rug, revealing a hard wooden floor. The girl didn't have a whole like of time to waste, nor to get anything wrong at the matter of fact. Making haste she opened up on the the books and followed the instructions inside. She grabed a peice of chalk and drew a large circle onto the floor, placing symbols and lettering in their rights places. The same was done for a few candles and other trincats. The last thing now was blood, her own of course. She took a knife from a self and cut the plam of her hand, but not without a wince. Once done she reached her hand out into the middle of the cirlce and sqeezed her hand, letting the blood drop down onto it.

"Demons of hell," she studdered uncontrollably, "I call upon you to apear before me now, to help me where the heavens have denied their services. I plea to you for your aid in my desires, in exchange for my immortal soul." Standing still she waited, hopeing something would happen, waiting for something to come along and take her illness away.

Azzael sat up, suddenly aware that not one- but two summons were taking place at once in the human world... Earlier he felt the mommentary blob in the ether as a summon had happened, but now there were clearly two open channels for him to access. Reaching out with his own astral fingers he caught a glimpse of the two potential summoners. Vague I.ages and names came to him... Both felt equally pathetic and desperate for supernatural help. He listened, amused by the girls' pleas.

Azzael felt momentarily indecisive. Normally there was little choice in a summon and he was bound to reaspond- but these open calls into the underworld were always an interesting change. Letting go of his physical hellish form, Azzael began to drift into the void between the worlds, no longer attached to a body. Two portals to two different summons. Finally he gave up his inner debate and headed blindly up to the human world. Gambling had always been a vice of his.

((basically whoever responds first/ wants him can have Azzael appear, IDC))

(OOC: I want Hazel, if thats okay with you, Crystal Blood)

"Certainly a lot of summons today, now isn't there?" Vincent said, more to himself than to his company. It was probably the pagans again. *Blood and alcohol and fornicating, thats all they care for.*, thought Vinny, chuckling lightly. *Well, lets see what we have here... Ah, so a girl named Hazel has cancer... If I cure it, she dies... If I don't cure it, she dies... How silly.*
"I guess I'll see you after I'm done. Oh, and you look beautiful as always, Ivy." said Vinny, turning around and walking away, waving as he entered the portal to earth.
"My name is Kodiyul Verihoth, but you may call me Vinny. I will help you, but you must realize that as soon as your contract is finished, I could take away your soul. Wouldn't that be pointless? If you die without a contract, you can still go to the fluffy cancer clinic in the sky. Its up to you." said Vinny, as he stepped unnaturally close to her.
"Oh, you may be wondering how I even knew you had cancer. I forget my manners sometimes. I saw you threw the portal." added vinny.

Lucas narrowed his eyes at the contract, he knew the stories of demons that tricked their summoners into faulty deals and he refused to allow himself to be one of them. "This will be on my terms demon, I will not be tricked again by humans or by you." Stepping forward and pulling his hand from the circle he plucked the quill up before looking Sethic'audun over critically. "You will not run rampant and shape the crow the way I wish it by your means, if I am to give you my soul then I want the acts the will damn it done on my terms."

((Then I guess I will get Azzael))

Annalith looked and saw a portal opening up in her room. She was surprised at first and backed away to her bed. She didn't expect it to work, but it was working. She was going to have her desires granted. To save her parents....maybe even more than her parents if she could play her cards right.
------------------------------------------------------
Sethic'audun glared at the boy. "Listen to me you mortal runt! When it comes to my contracts, they are straightforward! I do the will of the person who summons me until all required goals are met. Then by which, all the deeds are done, I keep your soul. In this case, you want vengence for your family. You want to worm your way to the crown. Once those goals are met, your soul is mine. I am not a wild animal. I can't go rampant on killing sprees or anything like that unless the mortal who summoned me tells me to do so."

Hazel took a step or two back away from the demon, she found his distance to be to close for her comfort. "Of course you'd know I had it, there wouldn't be any other reason you'd come if you didn't know..." she said the Vinny confidently.

"I know that what I'm doing isn't right of mind, but I'd rather die without pain." The girls vision dropped to the floor for a moment before looking back at the demon. "I Know you must take my soul, but I want to make a deal." Pausing for a moment she look a look out the window she'd been infront of prior, "I want atleast another year of life after you cure me. No more, no less... but atleast a year, and after that you can have my soul as the usual payment of course."

A chuckled escaped her lips, in light of what she was doing. She was going to day someday anyway, so what did it matter when it happend. "Besides," she began to say, "heaven has turned their back on me like they do many others, there's no point of going there."

Azzael wasn't terribly fond of smoke and mirrors. The sulfur and the fog was all a little old school for him, but old habbits die hard. With a flash and a bang Azzael materialized before the young girl, swathers of ether accompanying him making his form difficult to see.

This was all theartics for Azzael and he was already board with it. He let the dust settle around him, he looked as he normally did. Dark hair combed back, smart professional attire, classy shoes and expensive tie pin and cufflinks.

Azzael took in the scene quickly, it looked like England. And upperclass England And at that. The girl before him could only have been 14 or so he considered, really she had no business summoning demons. But here he was and there she was, hands smeared with blood and arcane symbols squalred around her... He'd seen weirder.

"A little bird informed me you may be in need of my services. But are you capable of paying?"

Annalith looked at the demon that had appeared in human form. "You will require my soul as payment after all requirements are met...am I correct?" She asked, staying as calm as she can. She knew what she wanted to have done. First to save her parents from the Spanish Flu.....then to start to go around to help others with this demon. Then after she was married and had at least one child, then would she allow the contract to be complete.

"Only a year? Hardly worth your soul, don't you think? Well, if that’s the deal you'd like to make, I can agree to it. Sign on the dotted line" said Vinny, sensing the hopefulness of the girl. The demon snapped his fingers, and right in front of him, a piece of parchment and a bone white pen appeared.
"The contract reads as followed, but you are of course aloud to read it yourself."
Darkling Kodiyul Verihoth, formerly Human Vincent Spencer, agrees to cure the signing party of all illnesses and prolong their earthly life for 1 year in exchange for a soul or the equivalent, at the discretion of Kodiyul Verihoth. Also, the signing party agrees to allow Kodiyul Verihoth to accompany them for the entire 1 year term.

Poison Ivy grinned as the other demons entered the portals and were accepted into the mortal realm. "And you as well," she bowed to Vinny out of respect and watched him materialize infront of his summoner. She danced in her toes in anticipation. Her lips tingled in jealousy as her fellow demonic souls were once again playing god with the humans. "I want a human," she hissed at the red sky. "Who shall shed their blood for my services?" She echoed as if the humans above and across the portal could hear her. "I shall be waiting lord or lady," she smirked again. Balancing on a rock, she watched the humans accept the demons' services in exchange for their soul. "Foolish beings," she laughed as an imp scurried to her side. "There are no summoners as of now, Ivy, but I can taste that another human is thinking of it," his voice was raspy yet shrill like a child's. His eyes darted restlessly from corner to corner. She stroked it's head. "Once I get a soul, I'll share it with you, dear..."

Azzael's face was unreadable, normally those who summoned him were wretched souls bound to hell with or without his help, this girl seemed different. He appraised the girl again without moving his eyes. "Yes..." He finally said, crossing his arm and frowning ever so slightly. "Your soul, in exchange for my services." He stepped towards her, flicking his wrist once and down rolled a scroll, all battered with age a use. It had lists upon lists of names written in blood red ink. Many in languages dead or at least long forgotten. "All you need do is sign." He took another step closer to her, trying to maintain eye contact. Without breaking his own intense gaze, he placed the scroll on the floor in front of her. When done he made another fast movement with his hand, this time a single quill appeared. "I'd offer ink" he said, "but you seem to have already cut your hand." Azzael didn't care, pure innocent soul or not, humans were all despicable deep down, and this girl would be no exception.

Adarius wasn't sure where he was, all he knew, was that he had fallen off the bandwagon. Adarius didn't know much at the moment, his whole world was a dark blur of shapes and colors. Voices screaming and laughing, he could feel the bumping of bodies around him. It was warm and fuzzy here, and nothing could hurt him. But even as Adarius stumbled around the basement of one of his young cohorts, completely removed from reality by the designer drugs he had bought that night, he could sense things start to go wrong. Around him other people were on bad trips and a few had collapsed into heaps in the corner of the large unfurnished room, but some of the more aware party boys were messing around with paint in the center of the room. There was a lot of laughing from the participants, it was a joke, a game. Nothing was actually gonna happen. Adarius stumbled towards them, they looked like they were having fun.

Then it all went wrong. A human sacrifice wasn't ever going to be part of the dare. But the boy didn't know what he was doing, in his narcotics induced world, he couldn't even understand death. Then people started shouting. The people who were merely drunk or stoned realized what had happened. Blood from the girl on the improvised altar was dripping onto the poorly drawn arcane symbols. No one knew what was happening. most people started running away, to escape the crime scene if nothing else, but some of the stragglers saw the bringing of the summons.

Adarius looked about confused, not sure anymore of what was real and what was not. Were the people on the floor passed out- or dead? Had it always been so dark and cold in this room- was he about to pass out? Adarius walked to where the dead girl was. "Hey- whats going on...?" But even as he stepped into the circle- the portal to the underworld was opened. The party kids had manged to summon a demon- and Adarius was the only one there to meet it.
