Ellyn Royce is known as being the 'most eligible lady in the whole of the Vale', she is young, beautiful and very proud. To be looked up by hungry children in the streets, she would repay their smile with food. Food that she had gotten from the kitchens in Runestone. She does this out of the kindness out of her heart, even against her fathers wishes. The septa's used to say when she was a child, that she was blessed with the Maid's caring gaze and guiding hand. Growing up, she was envied and praised for every little thing she did, whether it was sowing perfectly, being the smartest, Ellyn was never really interested in the ways of war, but she did know some strategic tactics that her father had taught her. She was the kind of girl who would sow and collect flowers for her mother, to chatter away with her handmaidens. Under all the innocence that Ellyn beholds, she can be cunning. For she will do her very best to see the House of Arryn on the throne of Westeros.
Biography:
By the age of 16, Ellyn had already received several marriage proposals from various lords in the Vale, but her father had declined them all, he even angered a handful but didn't bother to retaliate. Ellyn would spend her days in the Village, or staying at the Eerie. The one thing that she loved to do while at the Eerie was watch the Arryn sons, they were a sight to behold, either training in the yard or taking a walk, Ellyn would be there watching. But never to talk to one, because out of all her outgoingness once she was in a conversation with an Arryn man she became extremely shy and flustered, especially with Gideon Arryn. She thought everything of him, she remembered how she used to look out from a castle window if the Arryn's visited Runestone, although these visits are somewhat small and rare she still cherishes the moment of seeing them. And when her mother Serena and Lady Gytha Arryn told her of their plan to marry her to Gideon she was, ecstatic and overjoyed. It will start with travelling to Essos, for that is when the plan will bloom with life, soon she will be married happily and then she will truly begin her goal.

The Narrow Sea, it is beautiful in some eyes, even dangerous in others, but all Ellyn sees it as is a wall. A wall that separates two different peoples, those of Westeros and those of Essos, Some call the savages... Ellyn thinks quietly to herself as she blinks at the calm sea. The view of the Narrow Sea is awe inspiring from Ellyn's balcony, she stands with her hands on the stone railing, letting her hair and dress flow in the cold dawn wind. Every morning she dedicates herself to look out upon the Narrow Sea, to see the beauty it is given by the rising sun. The sound of the sea crashing against rocks was coming from below her, her chambers were just a few steps behind her, separating the balcony by silken curtains that swing loosely in the breeze. She smiled, for today was the day, the day that she had been waiting for since her mother told her that silent night. Today was the day that the Royce's would sail to Essos, with the Arryns and every other house in Westeros, this was something to be glad about, but that wasn't the thing that made her smile awaken.
