She glanced across at Sasha, leaning over and taking her hand, squeezing it gently. "This... this will be easy, right?" She then paused and looked over at the others, her anger, frustration, her fear coming to a boiling point. "Will you all move your asses already?! There's no way, no way we're getting out unless we all work together!"
She glanced down, feeling rude, bossy. If she wanted to survive, she would have to keep up good relationships with all of them. She rubbed at her eyes with the heel of her palm, then gave them all a muttered apology under her breath, her frizzy locks falling in front of her face.

Daniel Surman

Daniel wanted to laugh at how ridiculous everything sounded at the moment. Maybe it was just the weird ass room getting to his head, but suddenly he felt like he was loosing it.
How the hell were they supposed to get out of this? It seemed unlikely, impossible even, but he couldn't be out of the game that quickly, could he? It hadn't even fully started.

How pathetic. He thought, scoffing to himself. Truly pathetic, me.
"Shut up." He muttered under his breath, scowling at the floor. "No one asked for your opinion."
Once he realized what he was doing, Daniel frowned. Talking to myself. Fantastic. You're out of the game, Dan. Go home, die, whatever.

He really was beginning to feel like a lunatic.

Once Julie stopped talking, Daniel casted a nervous glance at her. She was still annoying, yeah, but at least at the moment she had some sense. Perhaps it was all just tactics for her, but for the first time since meeting the junkie, Julie actually came off as friendly.

"Do you believe that?" He asked, forcing himself to not sound as afraid as he felt. Before, Daniel could clearly picture facing Death in the eye and laughing at it, but now that it was actually possible. . . he was beginning to feel not so immortal after all. What was he? Just a creep of a teenager who liked to watch things burn. Did that sound like someone who could save their ass? No. Definitely not. "Getting out of this, I mean. You think we can?"

She glanced up to Daniel. He looked more nervous than he had in the common room. Frowning, she tilted her head and considered the question. "Well, yes," she murmured, rubbing her free hand across the back of her neck. She thought about it for a moment, trying to remember what she'd learned at school when she had actually attented. "Yes," she said more assuredly. "This game keeper whoever guy, he's a narcassist. He wants to feel special, like he's got some kind of control. That means he will give us a chance. A slim one, but a chance nonetheless. He wants to feel empowered but not responsible, so won't directly take our lives into his hands. It's up to us, now. Daniel, it's up to us. We can do it. We just have to work together and grit our teeth."
She sounded realised how smart she sounded. That'd be a first for... well since forever. Maybe laying off the hit was a good idea for her about now. She'd never gone more than a day or two without hitting up and she had no idea how long she or any of them had been out. Sure, she had that nagging want at the back of her mind, but it was more of a whine than a shout now.
