Name:
Peony Anne Quinn
Nickname(s): Nee Nee (only her little sister calls her that)
Age:
18
Gender:
Female
Orientation:
Just another thing she has to rediscover.
Ethnicity:
American/Irish
Appearance:
From Peonyâs outward appearance, it would seem that she doesnât much care what she looks like. She wears little makeup, ill-fitting clothes, and has a mane of choppy, flat brown hair. The most significant feature on her otherwise pretty face is the ever-present scowl that reaches even to her ash grey eyes. When she does smile, it looks rather forced, and usually doesnât last long.
As her first official, âscrew youâ to her father, she got a cherry blossom tattoo all the way down her back.
Personality:
She was daddyâs little girl, but it came with a price impossible to pay: perfection. Who she was, what she wanted, her past and her future had never been decided by her but for her. Funny thing was, she never minded. Whatever her father wanted for her was what she wanted for herself.
Thatâs what she told herself.
And it was true; up until the day she found out that none of it mattered. No matter how hard she tried, she just couldnât be the girl her father wanted. And even that didnât matter. He would never choose his own daughter over her anyway. She was fighting a loosing battle for her fatherâs affections. And now, she was finally done.
The day she left was the day she began to rediscover herself. Who she really was and what she really wanted. And she is finding that she is a very different person than the girl her father tried to make her.
As a consequence of her early life, her main characteristic is bitterness. Peony is no longer the most cheery or happy of people. She use to be. He took that away from her. Now sheâs angry, sad, and cynical. Her speech is nearly always tinged with sarcasm or disdain, and her demeanor is overall gruff. It baffles her, how much sheâs changed. She use to be such a sweet little thing.
Peony likes making friends, but she has trust issues, and tends to push the people she loves most away. She fears rejection, and will often preemptively reject others before than have the chance to do the same to her.
Because Peony is trying to rediscover herself, she will more than likely try anything once, just to see if she likes it. But she is a smart girl. She wonât do anything too dangerous.

Story behind object:
Iâve never screamed at you before; never so much as raised my voice. So whatâs happening now? Why canât I stop yelling? Why canât I stop crying?
I had you on a pedestal, but it came crashing down.
I was so happy that you invited me into your âinner sanctum.â You never let anyone in here. But, even through my joy, I canât help but think this garage is oddly stuffy as the vague sense of dread in my heart increases. I lean my flimsy body on your prized BMW. I know where this is going.
You picked her over me.
She didnât want me around anymore. Why? I donât know. I never did anything to her. Youâve known her eight years. Youâve known me a lifetime. But you still chose her over me.
Why are you giving me this? A picture of a half-naked girl? Is this supposed to mean âI love you?â Or âIâm sorry?â
This is when I start to scream.
I had you on a pedestal, but it came crashing down.
