Dr. Hugo Splietzer

Chief Engineer of Eniknight Production

0 · 603 views · located in Sci-fi fantasy

a character in “A.N.G.E.L. The Eniknight War”, as played by XxEvil1xX

Description

Image
Dr. Hugo Splietzer, heads the production team for A.N.G.E.L.'s eniknight development. Considered a bit of a protigy, Dr Splietzer has several degrees in science, to include aeronautics, neural science, and quantum physics. His gifts are not with out faults however as Dr. Splietzer flawless and dedicated performance to the creation of the eniknight is due to his severe case of obsesive compulsive disorder. Because of this Dr. Splietzer comes off as very intelligent yet socially akward. Often times very demanding on having everything in its place.
Though Dr. Splietzer finished the complete development of the eniknight, he was not however the original designer of the eniknight. Dr. Splietzer ended up finishing the brainchild of his late father Dr. Vincent Splietzer, who worked tireless on the concept of the eniknight 35 years prior to its creation at the Vicento Institute of Technology.
To this day Dr. Hugo Splietzer dilligently obsesses over his fathers creation in pursuit to consistantly improve upon its features.

So begins...

=Vage turns around to face her, understanding that whatever the testers have in store for them could be a traumatic experience. =
Oh, okay, thank you Nia, I'll try to let one of the officers know when it is finished and tell you I'm okay
=he says with a wave=

=Vage faces the lab and opens the door to the main entrance. As soon as he opens the door, Vage gets caught in a blast of green foam that looks to be fired from a fire extingisher, taking him by complete suprise. Covered in head to toe in this weird green foam Vage wipes most of it from his face and sees a man in a white lab coat standing infront of him with an unusual looking fire extenguisher=
AH! WHAT THE HELL MAN???!!!!
=Vage says a bit peeved at what just happened.=

=Calmly the man in the white labcoat sets the extenguisher down and speaks to Vage in a rather quick tempoed voice=
Good, you are now sanitized to satisfactory levels, quickly shut the door and step over there
=He says pointing to a white line on the ground.=

=Vage blinks while closing the door, and steps foward only to be quickly stopped by the man in the white coat=
No, not there, There!
=he says pointing to the line again insinuating to Vage to do it in the exact way he ask.=
Quickly ,step over there, and remove your boots, and place them in that plastic bag on the wall.

=Vage carefully steps to the exact place the man says=
Okay, who are you, and why did you spray me with that garbage?
=Vage says while removing his shoes and completing the unusual task the man says=

I am Doctor Hugo Ronifer Splietzer, Chief Engineer of Eniknight studies and development, the substance you have is not garbage, it is sanitizing solution grade A product 413A20-2 adhesive cleansing foam. Wash your hands please, then take off your clothes.
=the doctor ordered=

=Vage blinks=

=After spraying down Cyrus he turns to see the officer sticking her head from the door. The doctor listened to every word she says and replies in his fast paced rhetoric=
First question, undergarments providing they are not loose fitting may be warn, anything that hangs precisely one half inch from the body however his prohibited. Excess of clothing could jeopardize the production phase of the prototype creating a faulty product that could result in death. However all male testers may quickly proceed to production vats upon chip installation so as to give all female testers a degree of privacy. However the body is a natural thing comprising of nothing more than bone, flesh, fats, and connected tissue, all feelings of shame and pride related to the human anatomy should be discarded as nonsensical and irrelevant.
Second question, yes and no. All eniknight testers are to be monitored at all times during the production phase by our staff to ensure the eniknight manifestation sequence is running smoothly, as well as ensure your vitals are kept safe guarded to prevent accidental death.
Third question, denied, all articles of clothing that enter into this lab must be sanitized as I view them to produce harmful pathogens and other bacteria deemed to not meet my satisfaction. Solution A Product 413A20-2 is not difficult to clean off, it has been tested and found to cause no residual effects or staining and will dissipate upon its evaporation
=With that before she could get another word in the Doctor sprayed her down from head to toe just as Vage and Cyrus had to endure before pointing to the same spot he pointed to for Vage and Cyrus.
Please step over there at remove at minimum your boots and place them in that plastic bag on the wall, then wash your hands. Removal of further articles of clothing may remain pending until male testers are chipped and sent to their designated production Vats.

=Dr. Splietzer then looked to the two male testers, Vage and Cyrus=
When you are finished removing your articles of clothing I ask that the two of you follow this white line to the squares painted on the floor. Please step directly in the center of the square for your chip installation.

=Vage gets down to his undershorts and walks towards the square like Dr. Splietzer tells him to. He was paying attention to the conversation so much, and dwelling on making the extra effort to not look in his new commanders direction that he forgotten the Doctors extreme case of OCD. He begins to cut across the room to get to his destination, only to be stopped by the Doctor who blast him a second time with the sanitizing foam.=
As I mentioned before, please follow the white line to the square so that I may insert your neural tap microchip.

=Vage clenches a fist a moment but knows here of all places he just needs to let it go. He does what he is told and steps back to the exact spot he removed his articles of clothing and carefully walked the white line that led to the square and stood in the center. Dr. Splietzer took out what looks like a small white staple gun. Vage blinks seeing the gun, his eyes not looking away from it while he wonders if this was the part the previous testers did not survive. The doctor walks behind Vage and presses the gun at a certain area at the base of Vages skull and pulls the trigger, A very small needle pricks Vage as it felt like a nasty bee sting.
OW
=Vage says rubbing his head=

Neural Tap Microchip has been properly inserted, please follow the red painted line through the airlock doors, wash your hands, and await instructions near one of the Vats, next person
=Dr Splietzer says as he looks towards Cyrus while discarding the old cartridge that held Vage's micro chip and replaced it with another cartridge.

=Vage again does what he is told this time making very sure he follows the red line painted on the floor. The airlock doors split open allowing Vage to pass through, once he does it quickly closes behind him.

((K looks like it's you and I again Tsukiakari, man I hope recruiting picks up))

=Within moments Cyrus repeats the same process Vage undergone as Dr. Splietzer embeds the Neural tap chip in the back of his head, where afterwards he goes through the same airlocked doors Vage went through that quickly close behind him upon passing through. Giving the female eniknight testers their privacy to undergo the same preparations.
Dr. Splietzer is paying no mind to Lt. Remil's presence as he resumes work on his computer as she preps to also be injected with the neural tap microchip. Dr. Splietzer's fingers dance across his keyboard as he is preparing the next phase of the tester's production process by activating the vats.
On the other side of the doors Vage and Cyrus stand before a row on cylindrical transparent vats that look like they each could easily hold a person or two. Behind them on the upper level is a window looking down upon the room, no doubt for the production team to operate from a distance, no necessarily the most comforting thought to have. Vage and Cyrus are able to see men and women in white lab coats going back forwarth and taking their places as if they were about to send a rocket to the moon for the first time. Off to the side cameras can be seen in place, pointed at the vats, presumably to aide the production team in observing the creation process.
A buzzard goes off with a red siren light turning on over each vat, that quickly kills the silence of the room. Vage and Cyrus quickly look around to see whats going on, cant help becoming alert by the sound. As soon as the sound is heard, a door from the inside ceiling of the vats open. Following the ceiling opening up, a pink powder begins to pour down into each tube. Each vat gets filled with about three inches of the pink fiber before the ceiling opening seals shut once more.=

The hell is all that stuff?
=Vage ask pressing his hand against the glass looking down at the fine pink powder=

=The doctor is seen pulling a microphone close, as Vages voice is heard on a speaker questioning the pink powder he sees in the other room=
All that stuff, you speak of is prototype grade X04 enifiberous, basically your suit.
=The doctor types up a message to the team managing the production and presses send. within moments all the front halves of the fats, lift up like an elevator approximately six feet from their base, creating an opening for the testers to enter=
I have just notified the teams to allow you to enter the production vats, please proceed to step in and stand directly in the center, to await initiation of the production sequence.

=With that said Dr. Splietzer turns off his microphone and walks up to Lt. Remil whom has her back to him. He picks up the injection gun he used twice before and rest it on the back of her head=
Dont move.
=With that said he injects the neural tap microchip into her head, a feeling that could be described as a nasty bee sting quickly comes over her.=
If you are still self conscious about your anatomy you may select one of the Vats on the far end, the male testers should not be able to see you. Please follow the line through the airlock, and proceed to enter what ever vat of your choosing.

=With that Dr. Splieter removes his three pair of latex gloves he has on his hands and walks off to an elevator that will lead him to the observation room=

Laymin opened her eyes, sitting up from the wall as the elevator sounded, indicating the return of the professor. Seemed he was done gathering up all the guinea pigs and getting them prepped. Well, they weren’t so much lab rats as beta testers – This whole thing had been far more complicated and painful when she’d run through it. Initially, she’d been suspicious at being summoned for a ‘special’ military project, especially given her track record for assault and other misconduct. It seemed however, that it was that they were relying on, the ‘durability’ and grit she’d displayed exactly what they were looking for in a test subject to survive the initial process of neural tapping.

”Figures they worked all that out after experimenting on me…” Laymin thought to herself as Dr. Splietzer made his way into the observation room. “Yo Doc, I let myself in. So, this the new batch of subjects?” Laymin tapped the glass of the screen monitoring each of the rooms, not caring too much for the man’s reaction. She’d gotten her own clearance after her procedure, but Splietzer never seemed happy at the way she’d slip in without undergoing decontamination first.

=With a ding Dr. Splietzer steps out of the elevator of the room where four armed guards stood at post to ensure the safety of the scientist. Hearing Laymin speaking to him, he appears to pay no attention to her as he walks to a counter where he washes his hands and applies three pair of latex gloves.
Not so much caring about her coming in without permission as he was about her being there unsanitized in his eyes, he picks up an odd looking aerisol canister, resembling a mix between a bull horn and bug spray. He walked up to Laymin nonchellantly and calmly holding up the canister and proceeds to spray her in the face and then downward over the rest of her, with in a few seconds she would be covered with the green sanitizing foam he doused the others in.
Dr. Splietzer then walks over to the monitor and begins to spray it as well followed by scrubbing off the foam with a paper towel. Afterwards he sets the cleaning agents away, and pulls a mircrophone close to his face and switches the loud speaker on.

I am needing each of you to step into the Vats at this time.

I am needing each of you to step into the vats at this time.
=were the words from Dr. Splietzer that the three testers overheard on an intercom. Vage and Cyrus were to look up and see aDr. Splietzer hunched over a control pannel with a microphone and next to a blue haired woman, as a team of scientist worked around them. Vage and Cyrus both enter their seperate chambers, barefeet stepping to the pink powder that feels like silt.
Once they enter the vats the chamber seals tightly.
=One of the scientist at a terminal then reports to Dr. Splietzer=
Vats 4 and 5 are ready for commencement, vat 1 is still pending.

=Dr. Splietzer leans close to the mic and speaks=
Lt. Remil, you are needed to step into your vat at this time.

=After Dr. Splietzer gave his directions to Aerionelle the ding from the elevator is heard once more as its doors open and Captain Stone steps through. The armed guards in the room snap to attention at his presence, while he mutters his command to put them at ease.=
As you were
=the soldiers returned to their regular possition.=

=He approaches the doctor and stands beside him=
How is the procedure coming along?
=the Captain ask=

=The Captain was no exception to the Doctors regulations regarding cleanliness, before the doctor would reply to the Captains question, he picked up the cleaning agent and sprayed him with it. The Captain coughs and wipes off the foam from his face, controlling his anger being already aware of the doctors quirky ticks.=
Two of the three soldiers you brought me are prepared for the development process, once the third is in place the final phase of development will be underway
. =the doctor says before his eyes shifted toward Captain Stone=
It was my understanding that there would be more Captain Stone?

There were, however our intelligene has reported a new Stratian advancement is moving in from the southern border of the prefecture , and their specialties are required there at this time
. =Answered the Captain=

So it will be just these three along with the earlier three legionares that will be involved in the first combat observation?
=The doctor said refering to Laymin Shyvell and her two teammates who have already survived the eniknight development sequence.=
=Captain Stone looked over Dr. Splietzer's shoulde, noticing Soldier Basic Shyvell, one of the first eniknight legionares, in attendance=
That is correct.
=He answered, changing his attention to that of the testers through the window, studying them as a feeling of envy for them falls over him=

Having paused to watch the monitor a moment, the lack of response from the Doctor was the only sign of warning Laymin got. By the time she turned around to check just what he was doing, it was too late. “Well Do-ACK!” Coughing a bit as the decontamination foam got in her mouth, Laymin hurriedly shook herself off, before trying to scrub the disgusting taste from her tongue with her gloved fingertips. By the time she was done with that spectacle, it still felt like she’d swallowed a bar of soap. In annoyance, she wiped the saliva from her gloves onto the coat of Splietzer. Still frustrated that the Doc had managed to hide yet another sanitizer in the room (She’d had the foresight to remove the obvious ones beforehand), she heavily leaned in on his shoulder, pushing her weight down on him.

“Give me some warning next time, Doc.”

The nearby ding of the elevator drew Laymin’s attention, and upon seeing just who had come to survey the project, she immediately corrected her slouched posture and saluted. It didn’t seem to matter too much, as she was given permission to stand down, moving slightly to the side of the doctor and leaning her back against the window as she listened in on the conversation. So, finally they’d be seeing some action on the front lines. Sounded perfect to her. Well, except one thing.

“You sure about sending us out into the field so soon? I mean, you haven’t even finished the project on those three, shouldn’t there be combat simulations and…” Laymin trailed off at the expression the two gave her. Soldiers weren’t supposed to have opinions on such matters, especially one of her level. Even if they did, there was certain etiquette to be followed. Quickly, she corrected herself, before saluting. “Apologies for speaking out of turn, sir. It won’t happen again.”

initiate phase one.

roger, switching on vat turbines and activating electron disruption set at 10% output
=Said the assistant as he flipped three switches and began to slowly turn a red dial=

=It was at this moment Laymin questioned about herself and the other legionaries being sent out to combat. A pause fell over the observation room a moment until Laymin corrected herself for what she believed to be speaking out of turn. Ordinarily Captain Stone would reprimand someone for doing this however because she was quick to correct herself, he chose to be lenient.=

The combat observation will not be against the Stratians, Soldier Shyvell, your combatants you will be facing are those three down there. This exercise will be the training you feel is needed. I expect an excellent performance from all of you.
=Captain Stone says as he looks down, glancing toward Lt. Revil, whom stands at attention in the vat as the fans at the vat ceilings begin to turn on, stirring up the enifiberous particles into the air. With a stonecold expression on his face as he glares at her, he raises his hand rendering a salute of recognition to her, as it is hard telling if she or any of the other two will survive through this. She is able to see him salute before a pink cloud of the particles mask the three of them from seeing anything beyond a few inches infront of them. All three of the testers begin to feel a slight itch feeling=

=The itching sensation began leading up to a new sensation, the feeling of electric shock as a wave of voltage was sent through each of the vats to alter the physical state of the enifberous, Each vat had atleast one shock in it capable of making each tester belt out in pain. The process did not stop however as one of the scientist cranked up the dial slightly increasing the frequency at which the voltage was sent through the tubes. =

=A scientist observing the physical conditions of the testers reports in to the doctor=
Sir, all three subjects have successfully reached synbiotic state with the enifiberous. Enifiberous is now able to coagulate to all three subjects genetic make up.

=Dr. Splietzer looked on and then gave his next command to his team.=
Go ahead and commence the spike at this time.

=Nervously the scientist looked at him a moment to ensure they heard correctly as this was the most dangerous portiion of the process. It is during the spike which is when the scientist would subject the testers to the most extreme conditions of the process, the portion that has killed a number of testers in the past.

Acknowledged, increasing the electron disruption from 25% to 85%
. =Said one of the scientist who turned the red dial at his terminal an almost full clockwise turn.=

=The sound of electricity can almost be heard as an echoing sound similiar to a buzzsaw tears into the air around them. Vage's eyes widen as he feels like he and the others are being electricuted to death. The coagulated enifiberous that is merging with his flesh begins to take on a new form one of a blackish gray series of overlapping cables, resembling very much that of muscle tissue of the human body. They begin to wrap around his core, his head, his face, in almost the exact same pattern as the strans of muscles would beneith his skin.

=The clouds of enifiberous in the vats begin to thin out as most of it has gone from being airborne particles to the actual physical armor that has become one with the testers. Aerionelle, Vage and Cyrus are covered head to toe in these cables beginning to leave no trace of exposed flesh, not even the eyes exposed, as a synthetic lense begins rapidly forming over them.

=The pain begins to be too great and unbarable for the three as Vage begins to yell from the rush of pain that has just surged into him. He begins slamming his fist against the Vat walls to attempt to get out. The extra reinforced walls of the vat actually crack ever so slightly while he continues to pound against it.=

{Aerionelle HP 1/6} {Vage HP 1/6} {Cyrus HP 0/5}

=One of the scientist monitoring the vitals of the three reports in=
Sir! Subject 3's condition has just dropped to critical!
=Dr. Spliertzer looks out the window and sees Cyrus collapsing in his Vat. and then quickly gives out orders to his team.=
Override his process, and stop it at once!

roger.
=one of the scientist acknowledges as he hits one of three large red buttons, that serves as an emergency stop button assigned to Cyrus vat. Everything in Cyrus vat is deactivated as a red siren turns on along with an automated woman's voice.
You're attention, an emergency deactivation has been sounded. Please clear the lab floor. A medical team will be here momentarily. You
re attention, an emergency deactivation has.....

=Vage and Aerionelle seemed to be able to make it through the surge of pain, as they both feel extremely weak, and likely unaware of the situation outside of their vat. A medical team of six soon rush into the lab with a stretcher and open Cyrus Vat to administer aide to him. The cables around his body begin to glow, turning into a bright light of pure energy before getting sucked up into one concentrated core near Cyrus in the form of a tiny malshaped crystal, no longer covering the man. The medical team begins applying oxygen and moves him onto a stretcher where they wheel him out.=

=Everyone in the observation room watches the scene take place before Dr. Splietzer.breaks the silence.=
Move electron disruption up to 100%

=The doctor's assistant complies=
yes sir.

You're attention, an emergency deactivation has been sounded. Please clear the lab floor. A medical team will be here momentarily. You're attention, an emergency deactivation has.....

Marlo threw his cigarette to the ground and readied up. It had been a long time since he had entered that damned room in front of him: He liked to keep out of it for many reasons. The most obvious being that it was painful being in one of those damned vats, and he would rather not remember it at all. Instead however, it seemed that he would be forced to go save some test subject's ass since he couldn't take the pain any longer. Wimp. Marlo shook his head as the doors opened and he rushed through with the other 5 losers in his on staff medical squad. Sure they knew what they were doing, and did a good job at patching people up, but that didn't mean they earned any respect from Corpse. Nope, you had to serve as a soldier to earn the trust of Marlo Revkel, and nearly nothing else could change that.

Corpse refused to handle the stretcher and instead rushed straight to the kid. He couldn't help his eyes and instead saw the other 2 eniknight initiates, Second Lieutenant Aerionelle Franz Remil and that Vage kid that Marlo hadn't a clue where Splietzer got him from. He quickly assisted the other medics, for they were moving much to slow for a kid - Senior Soldier Cyrus actually - who was probably going to die. That was, if they didn't hurry their slow asses up and let him do all the surgical work. Once they -slowly, painfully it seemed - got the oxygen mask on the kid, Marlo and the rest rushed him out of the room and into an open operating room.

15 minutes later, Marlo was confident the kid would live, so he left the rest of the boring surgery and such to the losers and headed to the elevator. While it slowly made its way up to the observation platform, he grabbed a cig out of his medical bag and lit it right as the doors opened to the room. He waved away a soldier who wanted to remind him that smoking wasn't allowed, and walked towards the Doctor and Shyv. She seemed to be reliving the entire freaking episode by the way she was carrying on, but he ignored her and stood a few feet from Hugo. Marlo then turned to face the window, watching the other two test tube dwellers, until he finally said.

"Cyrus is holding stable for now. Wouldn't be here if he wasn't." He gave a puff before continuing. "Not sure if he has what it takes. If any of them do really." He zeroed in on the Second Lt. and gave a puff. She might though.. Corpse mused, then rolled his eyes as he watched, his blank eyes never really turning from the glass, but not very focused either.

"Cyrus is holding stable for now. Wouldn't be here if he wasn't. Not sure if he has what it takes. If any of them do really."

Laymin glanced up at Marlo, eying him – and his cigarette – for a moment. He’d be in for a rude awakening once Splietzer got his hands on the decontamination foam, and she grinned in guilty pleasure at the idea of Marlo’s annoyance. Still, that smoke was irritating, so she moved over to the far wall, deciding if she had nothing polite to say, she wouldn’t say anything at all. In her mind, Marlo was a dick. Or was it Corpse these days? Everyone seemed to call him that, herself included. Either way, she’d been inducted around the same time he had, so she recalled him by his real name – though she couldn’t quite remember who coined the moniker. To be honest, she hadn’t seen him in some time – a drastic change from her early days in the military.

He didn’t like her. Or at least, it never seemed like he saw her as anything more than an annoyance. Maybe she’d punched him at some point? It was so long ago, she couldn’t remember whether she’d gotten into a scrap with him or not. Still, during her initial days of service Marlo had been a godsend for both her, and the people she’d floored. No matter how much of a lazy douche Corpse was, back in those days, he’d generally been the one to patch her up – though he never seemed very happy to do so. His bedside manner left a lot to be desired, what with the way he always chastised her for starting stupid fights and on top of that, taking time out of his day to have to fix her up. He was probably relieved to have gotten all those promotions and left that hassle behind, but the brief moment they’d met each other’s gaze indicated he at least knew who she was.

After all, not all the memories were bad. When it came to a drinking buddy, Marlo was one of the few people who could hold his liquor to the same degree she could, and she’d been nice enough to shout him the occasional drink the first few promotions he’d gotten. Not that the asshole ever thanked her or repaid the favour. Then again, she never got promoted, so… Sitting up again, she decided that she was over thinking things, heading back over to Splietzer, Stone and Revkel. Folding her arms again, she continued to watch the finishing touches of the procedure. Contrary to what Corpse had said, she had a feeling Vage and Aerionelle would be just fine…

=It was like a smog machine was turned on as the elevator door opened up and Corpse made his presence be known. Smoke began to fill the air around the production team while Corpse made his presence be known and reported the status of Cyrus' condition and his take on the remaining two subjects. It didnt take long before Dr. Hugo Splietzer began to hunch over hacking from the smoke saturated air. With itchy watery eyes narrowing Dr. Splietzer reaches for his decontamination canister, only to come to the realization that he was gripping air. He stands up to resume his poise stature as best as possible, shaking hands pushing the glasses back to rest at the tip of his nose.
It would seem I have left a vital piece of equipment downstairs, I shall be back momentarily, *cough* *cough* Dr. Yule, you are in charge until I get back, report any irregularities *cough* *cough* to me right away *cough*.

=His assistant Dr. Yule complies with him=
Yes, doctor

=With a swing of his lab coats tail, ironically unbeknownst to the doctor flicks the spit left by Laymin back at her, falling on her shoe. Dr. Splietzer quickly goes to the nearest sink and removes his latex gloves and scrubs his hands before reapplying two more sets, coughing chronicly as he does so and begins to push the elevator down button not one but several quick times as if his life depended on it. The opening of the door was a sight for sore eyes for him as he quickly entered it and stood with a prim posture, coughing one last time before the elevator door closes.=

=Captain Stones eyes shifted from his two newest soldiers going through this tormenting ordeal to that of yet another of his more seasoned subordinates Chief Marlo "Corpse," Revkel. Naturally like most people who encountered Corpse, the professional relationship between Captain Stone and Chief Revkel was a bit of a bitter one. Many times over Captain Stone would have loved to rip into this man for his defiant behavior, however his hands had become tied from doing so as medical staff with skills at Corpse's caliber has been extremely sparse and General Star has ordered her Deputy Commander to pick his battles with Revkel and to overlook some reprimandable behavior that Captain Stone would normally hang any other person up by their toes for.
Bothered by Dr. Splietzers leave caused by Corpses insistant habit, Captain Stone does not punish the man however does speak idoly in a synical tone to him as he pulls out what looks like a pager and begins punching in a few buttons with his thumb.=
You are certainly setting a good example for your subordinate Soldier Shyvell, over there Chief Master Sergeant.

=Meanwhile the extremely weakened and barely concious Aerionelle and Vage are nearing the end of this painful process. Their armors are practically complete leaving only the tiniest touches left to be completed that would not be able to be seen by the naked eye, mostly around the crystal embedded in the chestplate of their armor that houses it when not in use. Flickers of tiny lightening bolts of electricity dance over the top of them still while they attempt to recoup from the inflicted pain. At this point from the perspective of the observation room anyone looking upon them would not be able to distinguish the two apart, as both their armors look perfectly identical, the only thing to tell whos who was by their posture. Despite the torture she has undergone Aerionelle managed to stand on her feet the entire time while Vage was on his hands and knees looking down at the floor, his newly cybernetic wing system twitching around like the wings of a wounded bird.
Both the two can hear themselves breathing heavy however never before has their ears heard them breathing the way they are now, the sounds of an almost digitally echoing distortion is heard being associated with their panting=

=At this same time Vai hears a device in his pocket going off, a pager assigned to every eniknight along with the crystal that houses their armor. Upon glancing at the pager Vai would read a message from Captain Stone. Report to the eniknight lab's observation room, thats an order. -Capt. Stone

=With a clipboard in hand Dr Splietzer steps forward and adjust the glasses on his head before speaking=
Thank you Captain Stone. Today you five will get a feel of your eniknight by engaging in a friendly spar with one another using your eniknight weaponry known as chi weapons which you will be briefed about shortly. In this match you will be divided into two teams, for easier monitoring of your combat abilities.
On the Red team we will have Soldiers Vai, Shyvil, and Revkel against blue team which will comprise of Soldiers Leer and Remil. Like Captain Stone mentioned earlier the moment your state of health comes into question we ask that you go to the north wall over there
=he points=
and unequip your eniknight signifying you are out of the spar. Team Red has already been briefed about this but for team blue, you can equip and unequip your eniknight by putting your hand over the enicrystal and visualize in your mind of you either equiping or unequiping it; your mind will recognize this as a command and send it to your enicrystals providing your flesh is in contact with it. You may try this now if you wish

=Vage tries this by visualizing his armor being unequipped. Just as the doctor says the eniknight quickly glows into a bright almost white light and gets sucked up into the embedded crystal in the armors chest before falling. Vage tries to catch the crystal before it falls to the ground and fumbles to catch it for a moment. Able to catch it before it falls to the floor Vage breaths a sigh of relief before he realizes he is standing before the Richmont Hawks in his underwear. His eyes widened as his face turns red from embarrassment as he clutches the enicrystal firmly and closes his eyes to think about redonning the eniknight as fast as possible. a light consumes Vage's body and his silhouette begins to morph into the shape of his armor before the light fades showing his armor reequipped.
I forgotten to mention, It is best to cup your hand around the enicrystal before you unequip your armor so it falls into your hand when you change out of it.
=The doctor remarks=
Before I open things up to questions know that everything about your eniknight is controlled mentally. If you think about flying, your wing system will activate and you will begin to hover, you think about flying up you will fly up, you think about flying backwards you will fly backwards, You want to extract chi enerergy you visualize sending energy into your hand.
There are safeguards for certain things like your wrist rifle. It too will will fire chi energy in the form of bullets if you visualize it but only if your arm is fully extended and your wrist is bent down, this is to prevent you from blowing your own hand off. That said are there any questions? If no, then please go ahead and equip your eniknight at this time.

#, as written by Tanman
Blah blah blah blah. The speech was really nothing more than a formality, so Shyv didn’t give it too much attention. That was probably evident in her disinterested body language, folding her arms and resting her head in one hand. Honestly, did he take them for children or something? It wasn’t like they’d be stupid enough to blow someone’s head off. Nah, she’d be quite happy to rough them up, and earn her new place on the team. Sure, the fight was a little handicapped, but Laymin was itching to get into the combat. She’d worked with Marlo before, so she knew he was reliable – But as for the Vai guy, she wasn’t too sure what to expect. Come to think of it, who was going to be in charge of their tactics? She knew it certainly wasn’t going to be her, but someone was going to have to direct their attacks.

Thoughts of the battle to come were interrupted as Vage made an embarrassing public display, the spectacle causing Laymin to snort in laughter and lose her stance slightly. If this comedian was going to be their opponent, the battle was probably going to be a snap - then again, Aerionelle looked pretty serious, so perhaps it was a bit early to be placing bets. As the Doc went over the logistics of the Eniknight use, Laymin drew out her own crystal, tossing it into the air and catching it once more as it flashed, sheathing her in the standard grey suit she’d come to recognize. Flexing her hand a bit, she tested everything was in order, before receiving the comm. link from one of her partners. “Reading you loud and clear, Vai.” Shyvell responded, doing some warm up punches to prepare.

“Corpse, you set too?” She asked eagerly, ready to get the whole thing underway. Satisfied with the performance, she turned to the other two. “’Cuz I’m thinking we need a game-plan. It’d be embarrassing to lose to these rookies.” Cracking her knuckles, she waited a moment to see if either of them would take point of command.

(Kumori rolls 1d100 and gets 21, probably last to go)

Level: 0
HP: 5/5

Vai rolled his shoulders and neck to get everything loosened up. He'd been cooped up in the base for some time now and was eager to stretch out his body and get ready for what was about to transpire. Even though it was just training to help break in some newbies, he felt excited about getting to use his eniknight armor again. It hadn't yet begun to change forms for him, but it was still his and that was what counted.

He jumped a few times to make sure that the joints were all loose and flexible and did a few practice exercises for punches and kicks to get ready. He preferred to do close combat fighting and use energy daggers so it would be interesting to see how the newbies reacted to his fighting style. Typically energy guns were the way to go with most who were new to the suits, but Vai was a little more old fashioned than that so he wondered if they'd expect it at all.

This is Vai, everything is good on my end. Just waiting for the order to move. He said.

=Captain Stone responded on the public channel to give Vai clearance.=
(P> Understood Lieutenant, you did well, proceed to the observation trench located at the northern side of the arena where Dr. Splietzer and myself are located, be sure to unequip your eniknight upon entering the trench.

=Once Vai would reach the artificial trench he would see Captain Stone and Dr. Splietzer standing before a wall with a dozen or so mounted monitors, many of which picking up the multiple angles of the combat while others displayed data regarding each eniknight. A team of scientist were seated with their attention on the adjacent side of the trench, orchestrating much of the behind the scenes work that is put into making this combat exercise productive.

Captain Stone did not look away from the monitors as Vai approached him and the doctor, however he did acknowledge Vai's presence there by offering a brief amount of small talk on a personal level, something of which the Captain seldom does=

After looking over your case, I have pulled some strings with General Star and have one of the living quarters of an officer killed at Arkacello cleared out and refurnished to be wheelchair accessable. You're father should have little trouble with the locals. If he does talk to me and give me names.

=It appeared while they were talking Dr. Splietzer was paying very close attention to Aerionelles eniknight data that was coming up on his monitor, lighting up like a Christmas tree, since she was truly pushing her eniknights to limits far beyond the expectations set for her=
fascinating, no doubt this will be taxing on her health.
=The doctor muttered to himself in thought=

***Vage's turn***
