Personality

With superb elegance and skill in her charisma, it is little wonder how Alexis Star was able to climb the military ladder all the way to the rank of General. Regarded as a formidable leader, General Star is recognized as being one of the few leaders capable of keeping her cool through even the most pressing of issues. Opinions of General Star's leadership is divided down the middle for anyone involved in her operations. Where as one half would see her as a careless risk taker not fit for command, others view her as a military genius. Her complete backing of the Eniknight Project, an untested armor and weapons project that many argue would kill anyone who attempted to test, was one such example that granted her favor and reprise.
Despite her charismatics , unorthodox leadership, and success, one of General Star's main vices is that she is an alcoholic. Too often those who are to enter her office would see a bottle or two sitting at her desk, which she is not modest about partaking. Remarkably however she remains very poised and decisive even in a drunken state. Naturally the A.N.G. frowns highly upon this fault of hers and has tried many times to remove her rank because of it, however higher command knows that it would severely cripple their military to remove her from their ranks.

So begins...

=Understanding that he is a prisoner of his nations enemy, Vage though still angered by the rude awakening Captain Stone gave to him quickly changed the moment Nia stepped into view. He smiled to see that she was alright. He had no clue at all what had happened to her after being rendered unconscious by the A.N.G. soldiers that have captured him, and is now fortunate to know her fate was more promising than what she had feared. Still not knowing the young womans name he simply replied with a few words and a smile=
You are alright

=Captain stone then nodded to Nia and then with a head gesture signaled for two of the A.N.G. prison guards to come forward. One of the soldiers pointed a rifle at Vage to insure he didnt try anything funny while the other soldier unlocked his cell and had his wrist and ankles hand cuffed. Both soldiers then pulled Vage out of his cell and stepped behind him their weapons at the ready in the event he tried to escape. One of the soldiers looked to Captain Stone and spoken=

Sir the prisoner is secured and is cleared to egress the holding cell to the desired location

=Captain Stone looked at them and nodded=
Acknowledged proceed to escort the prisoner to our destination while Ms. Tavian and myself accompany you.

=With that Vage, being carefully escorted by the two soldiers exit the prison with Captain Stone next to him and Nia to the outside of the Captain.=

=As they all exit the prison Vage finds himself at the A.N.G.s main military base named after the capitol city it resides in "HolyGrounds." Vage looked to the sky and can see his former home stretching across the sky from one horizon to the next, resembling only a small line that from where he is standing only appears to be a few millimeters thick. Around the ring he sees tiny lights that fade in and out like lightning bugs in the sky however he knows such lights are from aerial explosions of aircraft being destroyed in combat, presenting a morbid beauty for the planets ambiance . He looks down and he can see A.N.G. soldiers everywhere, in one area off in the distance he can see them doing weapons qualifications on a shooting range, off in another location he can see them sparing hand to hand in close quarters combat training, and in another location he can see an instructor barking orders at his men to scale an obstacle course. Seeing all of this really opened Vage's eyes up to realize that he had underestimated his enemy, now seeing that they go through just as much intense training as he did.
After about seven minutes of walking and silence they enter a large building that has been ordained by statues of heroes from Artomidia's past, once they have stepped foot on the freshly polished floor Vage decided to break the silence and speak up=
Excuse me for asking but where are we heading

=With that said one of the soldiers behind him struck him in the back with the butt of his gun=
Silence dog!

=Captain Stone raised his hand to command the soldiers to stop and faced him=
If I wanted you to strike my prisoner I would have issued you the order to do so. Now again soldier, ESCORT the prisoner to our destination.

=The soldier paused a moment and rendered a salute before proceeding=
Yes sir, very sorry.

=Captain Stone sighed a moment as he pinched the bridge of his own nose in frustration then he decided to reply to Vage=
Stratian, we are currently located at my division's commander's building. It is here where we will hold the last portion of your military tribunal to determine what is to be done with you now that you are in our captivity.

=the group enter an elevator and as the elevator doors closed to move up to the desired floor Vage replies to Captain Stones statement=
Is that to include execution?

=A pause falls over the group in the elevator as Captain Stone pondered a moment on whether or not he should reply since they where in such an enclosed space and he didnt know how Vage would react, however once the elevator doors opened up and they stepped out Stone then replied=
Yes, in fact I was the one who argued the validity that you should be executed for your involvement at Arkacello as well as your cardinal sin for residing in the heavens which prompted the catastrophes we all now endure.
=his tone of voice then changes to a frustrated yet tolerable one as he continues to speak=
But.. however, Senator Tavian's daughter here for some reason wishes to play devils advocate, and had argued against me for your pardon.. So we shall all find out what becomes of you
.

=Vage very humbly replies with an "I see" as they continue to walk down the hall. As they do so Vage can look through the window of an office seeing two officers yelling at each other, presumably over a battle strategy while another officer is rubbing his face, no doubt stress before walking to the window and shutting the blinds. In another office window Vage sees a woman cleaning out the office of what he guesses is her husband, tears in her eyes leading Vage to believe the man might have been killed in combat. After passing the second office the group comes to a door guarded by two A.N.G. soldiers on the front of the door it reads "A.N.G.E.L. Commander B. General Star."
Captain Stone steps forward to address his business before the guards as they salute him.
I have come with the Stratian prisoner Leer to conclude the mans tribunal.

=The two guards then stand aside to allow them to enter=
Very well Captain Stone, General Star has already given you permission to enter.

=The doors then open and the group enters. Before them they see a woman sitting at her desk, off to the side are three other A.N.G. soldiers wearing their dress uniforms and sitting in comfortable chairs as if they have something also to do with this meeting. The three soldiers before them sitting down are Aerionelle Franz Remil, Raven Rookien, and Ryunosuke Unemori. =Vages eyes glanced at all of them a moment before returning back to Captain Stone who walked towards the womans desk, stopping a short distance from it to salute, and speek=
General Star, before you I have brought the Stratian prisoner Leer, for whom you wish to conclude his tribunal.

=The woman sips what appears to be a glass of scotch before setting it down and standing to return Captain Stones salute=
Very well Captain Stone, you may be seated as the prisoner steps forward.
With that Vage takes Stone's place while the Artomidian officer sits down.=

It had been a brief wait under the rubble pile until the Stratian fighters had finished making their passes over the area. Finally, they had pulled out, and Aerionelle had taken her chance to escape before a search squad came in to find and capture her. She'd had some trouble getting out of the ruined city, considering the number of Stratians moving through the streets, but aside from a few small scrapes with the enemy, she'd managed to get out relatively unnoticed - just the way she liked it.

Fortunately, her squad hadn't quite made it to the evac point by that time, and it had been a simple measure to catch up with them and join them on the way to the Dracos. Then, it had just been smooth sailing away from the city, since the enemy's aerial patrols were still regrouping after the hit her squad had done on them.

And, after a few days recuperation, she, the commander of the newly nicknamed "Richmont's Hawks" - whose actions in the battle of Arcacello, while minor, had been one of the few decisive victories on the field - had been called to the office of one of the higher-ups. Honestly, it seemed to her that there was only one option for what this meeting might pertain to. After the Artomidian media had started focusing on her and her squad's efforts, latching onto it as a sign of hope amidst a crisis, she had been promoted almost immediately, and awarded with a medal known as the "Hawk's Feather," given for extreme acts of bravery and skill among the AAST corps. Sure, it was a PR measure to garner support for the military, and Aeri realized that. But the fact that she'd been given a fairly prestigious medal and a promotion still gave her at least some right to pride in herself, didn't it? Anyway, since that was all said and done, it seemed to her that this would be her next movement orders, and her objectives. They were going to move out again. While she wasn't battle hungry by any stretch of the imagination, she still had to admit that she couldn't wait.

She entered the General's office early, and, after saluting and reporting in, seated herself in silence. As the proceedings unfolded around her, she had to admit, she was curious. She had been called there amongst an odd bunch, to be sure. Raven Rookien, someone she recognized by reputation, if not by acquaintance, was a rather infamous assassin who had been caught during a botched takedown of an A.N.G. Intel agent. The murderess now worked for the Artomidian government, she understood, but she couldn't help but wonder why she, a regular soldier, would be working alongside a mercenary killer. Then, there was some weird guy named Unemori, or something, who she had never even heard of. Judging by his outfit, he wasn't a ranked member of the military, although he might have been some sort of rookie, or something. But what topped it all off was who came into the room next: Vage Leer, another person with a reputation.

His trial had been all over the news. Evidently, he was some sort of Stratian soldier who got cold feet when ordered to kill a civilian, and had gone rogue. While this normally wouldn't have been enough to exonerate a POW, apparently, the girl he rescued from his comrades had been pretty important, and he'd sustained heavy injuries while doing it, giving him both a powerful argument and a powerful ally. Aeri didn't really care how it turned out, but what she did care about was why in the hell she was apparently going to be assigned something involving a POW.

Only one way to find out, she supposed.

=As Vage steps forward he does his best to stand at attention even though his restraints render him from completely standing at attention as he is well aware he is now in the lions den. General Star sits back in her chair a moment, cross legged and swilling around her glass of scotch a moment=
So this is the infamous Stratian commando I have heard so much about... I must admit, not half as intimidating without all that combat gear on. You have really made a name for yourself you do know that. Before I disclose any further information of what I have heard circulating about you, I am needing information from you. I want to be very clear that any lack of cooperation will result in us dismissing your tribunal and Captain Stone will be arranging your firing squad following your exit from this office, so will you cooperate and provide all information I ask?
=General Star says as she drinks some of her scotch while sitting in her chair.=

=Vage remains standing not making any eye contact to the enemy General= ......I will

=With that response General star sits the empty glass of scotch next to two empty bottles. As she leans forward clasping her hands together and rest her elbows on her desk=
Wise boy. I am wanting to know your full name, and Stratian rank, spill it.

=Vage responds in accordance with his agreement=
My name is Vage Leer, I am a soldier basic for the Stratian military's Ghost platoon commando unit.

=General Star replies back=
Giving that you came out alive Mr. Leer, I assume you were able to kill some of our soldiers, if so how many.

=Vage turns pale as he fears that answering this question has signed his own death warrant, still though he had a feeling they would know if he was lying so he remained honest.=
I encountered at least three Artomidian soldiers, with which I assisted in killing however not alone and only under the orders of my superiors.

=General Star continues on=
This young lady here, has informed us that at some point during the battle you and your men came across her with the orders to kill her and her younger siblings, is this correct?

=Vage looks down and replies=
Yes Ma'am

Yet you did not, not only did you not but you instead turned against your own soldiers when someone else in your platoon was going to, quite a bold move, one that even we would find to be grounds for treason, why?
=The General questioned=

=Vage then looked at Nia then at her=
Because it was the wrong thing to do, order or not, killing soldiers is bad enough in my opinion however there just is no plausible reason for killing unarmed civilians.

So you admit to assaulting your own superior and men , and aiding Ms. Tavian and her family's escape?
=She ask=
Yes ma'am
=Vage replies back=

=General Star looks over to Kay Stone a moment and a silence comes over the room a moment=

((will continue the rest of the dialogue tomorrow, no worries it doesnt drag on longer than this back and forwarth interrogation) )

=After the pause of silence General Star speaks to Captain Stone and Nia=
Well it appears his story checks out.

=General Star stands up and walks around to the front of her desk where she sits on top of it pouring herself another glass of scotch.=
Well Mr. Leer, now that you have given me a story that literally holds up in court, I will provide for you the intel I have gathered on you from hacked Stratian sources. According to the report that fell on my desk, You are regarded now as an enemy of the State for the Stratian Republic, your actions that saved the Tavian family, to include assault upon friendly combatants, leaving your assigned location, aiding the enemy, has been listed as high treason, in addition they believed your capture was a form of defection. Your head, whether it is on your neck or on a stake is worth a 50,000 credit bounty. To summarize things Mr. Leer, you are actually safer in the hands of your enemy then your home nation.
On our end however you were involved in an invasion that claimed the lives of 20,000 people to include unarmed civilian, a catastrophe that affects the overall well being of all people of the A.N.G. this too warrants you as a dead man.

However given that your actions saved three lives, which whom were listed as your enemy deserves at least some form of a pardon, so I will leave you with two options.

=General Star tops off her glass and sips it before continuing=
The A.N.G. is conducting a test on a prototype armor that is currently awaiting development, unfortunately development is currently on hold since the previous testers did not survive the production phase. Modifications have of course been fine tuned since then as a result, however given the deaths of the previous testers, volunteers for the project have been few and far between. Many people offered the position, have even branded the project as a death sentence. So my offer to you is this, you can either enlist into the Stratian ranks under close observation and be a tester for our prototype armor despite the risk, or accept the execution, personally I would find it wiser to roll the dice being a living Artomidian, than insuring your death as a Stratian. So which will it be Mr. Leer?

=The offer seems no doubt a blessing knowing that Vage's fate was not yet sealed however he still stood their and thought a moment of what exactly this would mean. By agreeing to the terms offered to him, Vage would solidify the claim that he had turned his back on his own people. He thought back at the people who he would be betraying; he recalled that many of them really didnt treat him like a friend at all, growing up his peers ostracized him, most of his combatants in training treated him rotten, and even his own adopted father, a prominent officer in the Stratian military forced him against his will to fight in the war. Still though he thought of the person he had befriended while enlisting. He recalled the good memories of how Aster helped stand up for him against more hostile trainees, and helped him qualify from basic training, he recalled how she help him see the lighter side of things whenever possible as flashbacks of comical scenes between the two ran though his head. But then his thoughts shifted to the sound of an incoming bullet tearing open the air as it struck his arm. Even she eventually was out to kill him in the end. That final thought was enough to tip the skills for Vage to favor the offer given to him by the A.N.G. commander.=

I will do it, I will denounce my status as a Stratian, and take part in this project you speak of.
=Vage said=

=General Star drank more from her glass and then set it down and stood up from off the desk=
It is quite pleasing to hearing this Mr. Leer.
=General Star looked to Captain Stone before giving him an order=
you may remove his restraints Captain.

=Captain Stone stood up and walked to him=
Don't think I will be the least bit easy on you now, you are still a Stratian to me until I deem your not.
=With that Captain Stone unlocked his restraints.=

=General Star then took a step closer to Vage and extended her hand=
Well then, Soldier Leer, Welcome to A.N.G.E.L.

Thank you Ma'am
=Vage shook her hand a moment and then saluted her. As his hand was lifted up for the salute, he heard a loud clicking noise. It was then discovered that Captain Stone had applied a collar to Vage's neck similar to the one that is on Raven's neck. Captain Stone then walked around Vage, over to General Star's side and held a remote in his hand=

=Feeling the collar with his hands he questioned it=
What is this thing?

=General Star then speaks up=
While it is great you have opted for joining the A.N.G. rather than remain a Stratian, it does not mean trust will automatically be warranted to you, especially while possessing a prototype that has the potential of being a devastating weapon. What you have on you is a remote sensitive explosive. If for whatever reason you were to turn against us in anyway, a push of a button on the remote Captain Stone has will insure it will be the last thing you ever do. Since Captain Stone will be monitoring your involvement in A.N.G.E.L., I have entrusted the remote set for that collar to him. Do remain on his good side please.

=Vage looked to Captain Stone who gave him a look right back then turned back to General Star and replied=
Yes, Ma'am

=General Star finished her glass and put it with the bottles on her desk=
With that said, May I have you other three step forward, and I will brief you more on why you are here.

(Well, I was going to wait for the others to post, but since they won't, I guess I will.)

Aerionelle was already standing up when the captain yelled his reproof - probably at the other two, but she could never be sure with the higher ups - and as such, was a little annoyed to be included in the group that was getting yelled at. Stepping forward, she sighed, stood at attention, and saluted.

"Senior Soldier, Aerionelle Franz Remil, of the 11th AAST Corps, commander of the 7th squadron, reporting for duty, ma'am. What is it that I shall do?"

(heya ya other guys, I know one of you is having computer problems and the other is having personal problems, so dont think I mean anything by this, its just to move the story along)
=Aerionelle was correct that his scolding was indeed not directed at her but more so at the other two whose attention seemed to stray. After seeing that the two weren't even paying attention to his own commands, the Captains blood began to boil. He clenched a fist a moment to where his knuckles whitened at the force of his grip. He wanted to jump down their neck for their lack of attention however he knew it would be out of General Star's interest to see him do so, instead he thought of the most delicately reprimandable action for them while being in his superiors presence. With violently loud footsteps the Captain walked past Senior Aerionelle who was the only one who properly reported in, and stormed towards Ryunosuke and Raven. He grabbed the two by the lapels of their uniforms and forcibly pulled them forward to where they were soon standing next to their peer at attention. Once he got them to where they needed to be he leaned forward to where his head was inbetween the ears of both Raven and Ryunosuke.
I will deal with you two later.
=he sneered as he then returned to General Star's side=
=Vage blinked and thought to himself=
oO( Is this guy like this to everyone? )

=General Star looks over the three a moment and then looks over to Vage=
Mr. Leer, please, you may join these three individuals.

=Without question Vage complies with General Star's request and goes to stand next to Ryunosuke. Once he does so General Star smiles at the four and speaks once again=
quote]Allow me to tell you what is going on here. The Artomidian National Government has decided to make revisions to the 2nd Brigade. No longer will the 2nd Brigade specialize solely in infantry combat, it will now be the front runner to Project: E, the prototype with which we discussed Mr. Leer will be testing. Should Project: E, be successful, 2nd Brigade will be the first to be equipped with the prototype armor we call the "eniknight," starting with the original testers that survive production.
Also, 2nd Brigade no longer will fall with in the A.N.G.'s military major command of operations. You might say it is become the start of a new branch of our military. In addition to this, 2nd Brigade has been renamed to the Artomidian National Government's Eniknight Legion, or A.N.G.E.L.
You three are probably wondering what this means for you since none of you were ever part of 2nd Brigade. Well allow me to first start with Senior Soldier Remil. Ms. Aerionelle Remil, would you please step forward? [/quote]

=The General returned Aerionelle's salute=
Soldier Remil, please stand at ease. You have demonstrated without a shadow of a doubt that you have proven yourself as a valued soldier within the A.N.G. If you only knew of all the positive feedback that the 11th A.A.S.T. Command has circulated about you, you would understand why you have been hand picked for the accommodation you are about to receive.

=Captain Stone picks up a box with the newly crafted crest of the A.N.G.E.L. engraved on top of it.=
I will first tell you this, even though the Battle of Richmont ended in defeat, your squads efforts were not overlooked. It is because of your squads actions in holding back the Stratian offensive as long as you did, is why 800,000 people owe their lives to you for their escape to Caska and Holygrounds, as well as allowed for the strategic retreat of 12,000 able soldiers who are now aiding the Caska regiment on the frontlines at our prefectures boarders.
The Artomidian Airborne Shock Troop detachment has recognized you by name for leading a fighter squadron of Stratian Arrow Piercer Fighters away from their position which greatly aided them against the Stratian invaders.

Because of their valued service the 11th A.A.S.T. has been absorbed by A.N.G.E.L. and will be the first detachment to push back the Stratians as Eniknight Legionaries. Also because of your recognized service you have been awarded the Heaven's Sword, One of the highest awards to be bestowed upon a soldier during war time.

=General Star opens the box that is in Captain Stones hands and pulls out a medal of a winged sword pointing up, blade running through the center of a halo. The General pins the medal on Soldier Remil's chest, while Captain Stone replaces the box with another=

In addition, to this medal, it has been unanimously agreed upon by A.N.G. High Command that you are to be stepped promoted from Senior Soldier, to 2nd Lieutenant (Lt.).
=The General opens the second box and pins the officers rank on her lapel=
You're duties and responsibilities will be briefed to you in private however there are two orders of business regarding your new position that we will discuss here and now.

The first of which is, the individuals you see before you will be assigned to your squad to include the former Stratian Leer and another individual currently en-route Senior Mezzerai. They will answer to your orders, while Captain Stone will serve as your superior officer as Company Commander. I expect great things out of your leadership 2nd Lt. Remil , I trust the men and women under you will be cared for and in turn care for you.
Lastly a detachment with such merits is worthy of some prestige within our ranks, this is my personal award to your detachment, to allow your men to be branded with something more than a number. Your first duty as Squad Commander of the 11th AAST is to grant them a name worthy of their praise, something they can find more pride in than just saying they are the 11th AAST.

Richmont's Hawks it is then
.

=Everyones attention was then abruptly pulled to the door way as a womans scream could be heard. Captain Stone darts infront of the general serving as her shield as he pulls out his pistol and aims it at the entry way. The doors swung open for Cyrus entrance. Captain Stone's eyes narrowed as he aimed at the mans head a moment, slowly pulling back on the trigger. As soon as Cyrus brought up his hand to salute and announce himself, Captain Stone eased up on the trigger and looked at him make his way to a chair before gazing toward the General as if asking for permission to tear this guy a new one for creating the scare that he did, and dripping blood all over the Generals marble floor.
General Star gave a laughing smirk a brief moment as she closed her eyes and shook her head as if she knew what he was thinking. She walks over to Cyrus=
Senior Mezzerai, I would like to introduce you to your new detachment

"Roger, Ma'am." The now-Lieutenant saluted, then turned to face the new arrival. "Greetings. I am Second Lieutenant Aerionelle Franz Remil, commander and field operations director of Richmont's Hawks, former 7th squadron of the 11th AAST corps, now First Squadron of the Artomidian National Government's Eniknight Legion - or A.N.G.E.L. - a special military unit that will utilize prototype technology to help drive back the Stratians. In layman's terms, we're super soldiers. To make a long story short, you've been transferred to the division along with the others in this room with you. We are to receive these new Eniknights soon, and make immediate use of them, under the direct command and supervision of General Star and Captain Stone, both of whom are standing before you. Do you have any questions?"

Cyrus began to work a kink out of his neck with a crack as he listened to the explanation. He smiled as h straightened out the kink with a satisfying snap. He began to get excited with the new assignment. He had always loved new and advanced gear and there EniKnights sure seemed like some high octane stuff. " So basically we've been selected test out some experimental high powered weapons and be super hero's." With a hearty laugh Cyrus leans back in his chair. "Sure glad i didn't miss this one eh captain?" Cyrus nudges captain stone with his bloodied elbow in mock friendship though fully aware of the mans distaste for him. He turned back to the lieutenant with a intensely excited glare. "So when do we get to see these works of militarized art?" Eager to get his hands on a new tool for destruction the former mercenary was itching for some practice time, though not to much he wanted to try whatever this top secret weapon was out in the real world asap.

=Captain Stone looked down at the blood on his uniform. His eyes studied it and then arose back at Senior Mezzerai it was very opperant he was trying everything to keep his cool and not fly off of the handle and kill this man. Without his eyes leaving Mezzerai he speaks to the newly appointed Lt.=
Lt. Remil, you are aware that it is my jurisdiction to determine who does and does not get assigned suicide missions. I highly suggest you keep your soldiers in check. Lesson one for officers, the officer is the first to be accountable for the soldiers actions
=he said in a firm almost threatening tone as he walks toward the General=
If nothing more needs to be addressed, I will go and inform the development team that the soldiers are on their way.

=General Star nods=
Very well, Captain you are dismissed

Ma'am.
=The Captain says as he salutes the General and takes his leave.=

=The General returns his salute and faces the others=
As for the rest of you, you are to proceed to Weapons development lab, you will find it east of this building, two blocks away, you are dismissed.

=Though he has been given the rare offer of reconciliation and has joined the army that only days prior he was fighting against, he still felt he had a long way to go to earn his place in A.N.G.E.L. The feeling that his status is less than that of a dog while in everyone's presence comes over him. Timidly as if carrying shame over his shoulders he walks up to the General to accept his dismissal as he salutes his superior, unable to make eye contact=
ma'am

=he says as begins to walk out only to be stopped by the Generals words upon leaving=

Oh, Soldier Leer. =she says in a tone that request his presence for a minute longer=

=Vage turns around and looks at the General=
Ma'am?

Dont let Captain Stone, or any of the others get to you. Even though you still hold prisoners status, you are still part of ANGEL and I expect you to be treated no differently than anybody else under my command. Talk to me if you find my expectations are not met.

Thank you ma'am =Vage nods and looks over to Nia who has been quiet the entire time in the office. He gives her a nod of recognition as well, perhaps never knowing how grateful he is to owe his life to her=
ma'am
=he says as he exits the door and joins the others toward the weapons lab=

{***Corpse's Turn***} (<- Going to put that there whenever I have a sub-scene going on that way you all can keep track of whos turn it is)

=Unbeknownst to the three in the observation trench two people approach, Vai, Captain Stone, and Dr. Splietzer from behind. A familiar voice is heard calling out to one of the individuals=
That was quite a performance you put on Lieutenant Vai

=Captain Stone and presumably Vai would turn around while Dr. Splietzer engulfed himself in the sea of data set before him. Seeing who it is the two would discover they are in the company of their head commander General Star. Instantly Captain Stone snaps to attention and salutes=
General.
=Captain Stone briefly says out of reverence to her by acknowledging her presence=

=General Star watched as Vai returned with Aeri in his arms when he returned Vai would see that the medic that accompanied General Star had placed two cots down for the battered soldiers. General Star pointed to one of them=
Place her down here and then lay on that one over there.

=Captain Stone approached for a moment and was Captain Stone to Vai=
Hey idiot, next time I tell you to pull someone out of the arena like that I mean you think for a second and put your armor on and bring that person back! One little piece of debris flying high speed at your unprotected head and I would have had two dead dumbass officers right then and there. Do it again and the next thing you will be fighting will be piss stains in all the base urinals.

=With that Captain Stone went to observe the rest of the combat.=

"Place her down here and then lay on that one over there."

Vai nodded his head to the General and placed Aerionelle down on the designated cot for the medics. It was at that time that Captain Stone came over to address the Lieutenant.

"Hey idiot, next time I tell you to pull someone out of the arena like that I mean you think for a second and put your armor on and bring her back. One little piece of debris flying high speed at your unprotected head and I would have had two dead dumbass officers right then and there. Do it again and the next thing you will be fighting will be piss stains in all the base urinals."

Vai saluted to him, but never the less smirked once his back was turned and shook his head slightly. He knew the Captain meant what he said, but Vai had judged the situation outside to the best of his ability and as far as he was concerned his suit had not been necessary for Aerionelle's retrieval. However, the Captain had an excellent point, as one miscalculation would easily have led to his death. Still he was alive and there was no point dwelling on what he had already accomplished, even if it wasn't to Stone's liking which suited Vai find since he silently enjoyed the superior officer's anger.

Vai simply took it as it came and returned to the side of his superior officer to continue observing the rest of the fight as well.

#, as written by Tanman
Regarding Vage as he stooped at the floor, Laymin wondered just what was going through his head. She didnā€™t have much to defend herself, so maybe he was planning out his next assault? Patiently on alert, the next move he made wasnā€™t entirely unexpected, but it still startled her slightly. The primal yell from Vage as he closed in was a fearsome warcry, Shyv faltering only a moment before stepping forward. If she froze up now she was toast - she had to try and land another counterattack. Unfortunately, Vageā€™s speed and precision were far too great for that. With a cunning motion in, Vageā€™s technique was flawless in itā€™s approach, as Shyv couldnā€™t afford to grab the energy blade without cutting into her own hands. With panicked realisation, she knew there was nowhere for her to escape to, and she clenched her eyes shut in preparation for the pain that was to follow.

Searing heat cut across her chest, biting into her skin as she cried out. Twice the lashes whipped back and forth over her, shredding much of the remaining armour of her eniknight suit. Splinters of metal flew into the air as Vageā€™s cutter sparked violently, leaving arcs of silver lighting where heā€™d struck Laymin. Her suit blared an overbearing warning of the critical damage to her suit, her headset view filtering red as the numerous danger signs popped up. She was clearly defeated, and would just have to head to head to the north wall and evacuate the arena. Wincing as she opened one eye, through the mess of displays she could see one final attack heading her way, a shimmering energy ball of death rapidly approaching her face. Seemed Vage wasnā€™t content with merely just eliminating her.

Layminā€™s HP: 3/20. Eliminated from Combat

Giving a guttural cry as she flew across the room, she gasped sharply as her back slammed into the concrete wall, leaving a sizable dent of splintering cracks. Richocheting from the force of the impact, she slumped forward, falling face first onto the ground as she was far too weak from the pain to catch herself. Lying there in exhaustion, she was a little surprised that after all the repeated blunt trauma to her forehead, she didnā€™t have some sort of concussion. Part of her wished she did, as at least then she wouldnā€™t feel the agony running through her overworked and battered muscles. Remaining on the floor a moment, she glanced to the side, looking to the dint her body had made. Just barely, she could make out the painted lettering identifying it as the North wall. Great, at least she didnā€™t have to trek across the arena to quit the spar.

Slowly forcing herself up, she leant against the building for support as she tried to calm her ragged breathing. Her chest felt tight and compressed, and she gave a few violent coughs before disengaging the suit, snatching up her crystal and taking a deep breath as her body was freed from the tight confines. After the blow she just took, the thing looked like it was about to fall apart anyway. Dimly, she remembered that she had to declare her surrender, muttering an ā€˜Iā€™m outā€™ over the comms channel before sighing. Damn it, if itā€™d just been her and the kid, sheā€™d of knocked his block off! As it stood, she looked like the loser in all of this. Grumbling some more, she kicked the wall once in frustration as she headed over to the gate, before giving a startled yell as a rush of wind nearly knocked her from her feet. Bringing her arm up to shield her face, she turned towards the source, shading her eyes from the brilliant light show. That certainly didnā€™t look like the sort of flashy move Corpse would pull off ā€“ In fact, it looked more like the sort of thing sheā€™d do ā€“ Albeit, more firey and with way more noise. As the wind and light died down, Shyv stepped into the viewing booth, limping slightly as she stretched her back and neck, muttering to herself under her breath. ā€œSo help me Corpse, if you lose this, Iā€™ll make sure that nickname of yours becomes literalā€¦ā€ Noticing both the General and Captain Stone as she approached the makeshift medical tent, Shyvell gave a weak but prompt salute, wincing a little as she lifted her arm up. Promptly dropping the motion, that final attack from Vage really hurt her bust, and lifting anything up to her head brought screaming reminders of just how sore she was. Hopefully her superior officers wouldnā€™t see it as a sign of disrespect. ā€œSoldier Basic Shyvell, back from duty.ā€

=Lord knows how many hours have passed by since the Richmont's Hawk's first real eniknight spar. The two "Newbloods," began to awaken, however not by manner of choice. An all to familiar gesture of Captain Stone's kindness was felt as both Aerionelle and Vage were awaken by having two buckets of ice water chucked in their faces. Vage was already tired of this gesture since it was done before to him while he slumbered in the A.N.G. jail cell, however both knowing that Captain Stone is now his commander and that there is an explosive collar around his neck were factors that helped keep his irritability in check.
As he was coughing up the water that flooded into his nose Vage winced in pain as his bandaged back was bruised, cut, and banged up pretty good. He finds himself laying on a cot with an IV stuck in his arm, the same can be said for his Squadron Commander Aeri as well, though she didnt look like half the shit Vage did.
He looks up and sees General Star standing next to Captain Stone, behind them were the Veteran eniknights being administered care for minor injuries they have inflicted, that is except for Corpse who seemed to be fairing alright, well enough to have a cigarette in his mouth at least.
Seeing General Star, Vage's instinct was to stand at attention as it was military custom for both Stratians and A.N.G. alike when a superior officer is in their presence. Again Vage winced at the pain while he slowly, yet as quickly as possible tried to get up off the cot.
Hey dumbass, we gave you that thing for a reason. Sit your ass back down.
Came the command from Captain Stone.

Though they were in the same place they fought, the surroundings looked completely different. Vage was impressed with how quickly the arena was transformed into a makeshift hospital comprising of four military medium sized temper tents, that had quite a bit of medical equipment wheeled in.

=Captain Stone spoke up once more=
When everyone is done having their boo-boos kissed, get your asses over here, General Star would like to speak with you.

The next few bits were a bit of a blur for Corpse, for they went unnaturally fast for a mock battle conclusion.

For starters, after the meteor-like impact against the dirt, Corpse slowly had the shield shrink down to its normal, portable size. He then proceeded to get himself off of the mangled eniknight that housed the newblood, and then mentally commanded it to return to its crystalline form. When it landed into his open palm, and he landed on the ground as well, he began the slow and somewhat painful and tedious climb up the side of the crater, one that he now wished he hadn't created. His left leg was really feeling stiff, as it always did after operating that damned machine, so walking on an upwards angle wasn't the healthiest choice for him. Corpse then watched as two other medics rushed in and picked up the Vage kid, along with the eniknight crystal, and rushed him out. Corpse would have to mutter an apology later to both of them, since he presumed that Stoner hadn't wanted them both being knocked out in the mock fight. Corpse shrugged, reached into his bag - which was now back onto his arm, since for some reason it liked to disappear in the eniknight - and grabbed a smoke and lighter. By the time he got out of the crater, it was already lit and Corpse could feel himself calming down a little, becoming less annoyed with every passing step.

When he knocked on the door to be let back in, did his whole salute and such, only one person came over to see if he was alright. Since Marlo could tell that he was a new kid in the medical department, he laid the law down with the kid fairly quickly and rudely - "You can piss off kid, I fix myself." He then began to bind up his left arm, which had been bruised slightly, and take some medication for his feet and left leg. He then sat and waited for Stoner to awaken the two by the same way he loved doing to everybody else - throwing God-Damned ice water on their faces. That was one of many things that truly pissed Corpse off in the world, being rudely awakened by water and Stone's face.

Corpse ignored the rest of the procedure, all he could tell was that Vage tried standing up, Stone harassed him in the usual manner, and then addressed the rest of them hen everyone is done having their boo-boos kissed, get your asses over here, General Star would like to speak with you. Didn't know you were 5 there, Stone. Makes sense. Corpse huffed a little, then turned to address General Star in a little more formal greeting. He respected Star above most others - not just because she was quite the drinker. All Corpse did was give a little nod to show that he was at attention, and waited for the rest, that cigarette never leaving his mouth.
