BiographyEmelia had a difficult live growin up. When she was born there was a battle going on for control of her village. Lycans and a few vampires were stealing away the humans and most of the men were warriors and fighting the monsters off as best they could. But unfortunately her father was one of the warriors and managed to draw the beasts attention away from myself and my mother. My mother was able to flee the village with a few other refugees of women and children but the rest of the village was taken over by the lycans.
Emelia and her mother fled to a nearby human city and there they lived in safety till about when she was 14 where some vampires sneaked into the outskirts of the city, where Emelia and her mother then lived with the rest of the homeless and poor. She was kiddnapped and watched her mother get the blood drinken dry from her body.
Emelia was taken to one of the trading cities where the vampire and lycan communitys interacted together in a decently sized town in the middle of the country. There everything was made sold or traded between the humans (although very few) and the lycans and vampires. In that town, were held human slave auctions and Emelia was sold to a vampire woman, who used her as a maid and sometimes a blood bag.
One night the vampire woman died in her sleep, accidentally drank verbane tea that Emelia had served her that night. Emelia grabbed what very few belongings she had and ran away.

So begins...

Emelia walked through the woods rather startled in fact. She knew she was a refugee and alone and defenseless. 'Damn the more I think about it the more stupid and hopeless running away sounds.' She thought to herself as she moved a branch out of her way. She sighed but suddenly a loud roar came from behind her. She fall on the ground tackled by an unknown being but had a rather good guess at what it was. Lycan Human Hunters.

Emelia quickly stood up and started running as fast as she could. Unfortunately for her, it was three against one and the things she was running away from were 1) 5 times her size, 2) 4 times faster than her and 3) Wayyyyy stronger than the average human, and her, she was below the average. Emelia was thrown against a tree and hit her head hard making her fall to the ground and let out a scream both in fear and in pain as she held her head. Two of the Lycans shifted to their human forms and tied her hands behind her back and blindfolded her. She could feel herself being carried over a rather large and strong man for miles.

She felt the cold crisp night air approaching and knew she wouldn't be able to last the night without a jacket. She prayed they'd reach a dungeon of sorts somewhere inside. Soon enough about an hour later they were in a village and she was thrown into a dungeon with a stale piece of bread a hay bed and a tin cup of water. She sighed and started to cry silently as they took off her bonds and blindfold. She sat in there and eventually sleep over took her. She awoke the next morning to the cheers of vampires, lycans, and yes, even some humans, but there were few, probably either pets or merchants who had bought their way out of slavery. She was up on a stage in the center of town in a cage big enough for her to stand up straight in and also take about 3 steps in any direction around her in her cage. There was a price on her cage and she flipped the tag over which read, "200 dollars". A very low price for a human, but it was only because of her sex, height and weight. Many Lycans and vampires came up and reached into the cages poking and proding the human slaves. One vampire managed to reach in a jab her side with his finger making her squeal and jump to the other side of the cage frightened.

The two vampires walked through the village of Cormount Town, their minds in each in their own places. "Was it really wise to let Asher go like that, Lucian?" The smaller of the vampires asked.

"Maybe not." The other vampire responded. "Either way, we needed him to be somewhere without the public's eyes... Vampires and lycans hate him, and if he was here, things would get ugly, quick."

"Then why not by a cloak for him?"

"Always a chance of a strong breeze, that's why. That, and he might try and do something stupid."

"Like what?"

"Freeing the humans in the auction over there." Lucian motioned to the auction to their right. "Do you need another servant or maid?"

"Hm... Right now I'm good with all that I have..." Remilia replied. But then, she started ponder again about her choice. "But then again... One more human wouldn't hurt...."

"Then go!" Lucian placed his hand on Remilia's back and pushed her towards the auction. She stumbled a bit before walking off, annoyed that Lucian pushed her. "The nerve of you, peasant!" Remilia's prideful side spat at Lucian, who only smirked in reply. She turned around once again and examined the human slaves on sale. Her eyes glanced towards the cage with the 200 dollar tag and the Scarlet Devil looked up to examine the human.

Hayley Bell

Hayley sighed as she stood in her cage on the stage in front of the many gawking and annoying buyers. She growled at a few Lycans who touched her hair to smell it. She huffed quite annoyed at how she managed to get herself into a predicament quite like this. Hayley walked to the front of the cage and held the bars of it looking out of the cage with very innocent eyes. She then turned her head to the sign just above her head and read it, "600 dollars". 'Damn I must seem like a pretty good human huh.' She thought to herself turning the sign back out facing her audience.

She smirked and leaned went back to the middle of her cage and swiped her hands at the very grabby audience. She should have expected, the more a human is worht the more and more people want to see a show or see that they are getting their moneys worth. One vampire decided to scratch her and it made her yell, "Get away!" Angrily she shook the cages bars and growled loudly at the vampire. Then down the row of humans she spotted a rather small human getting poked at and examined by some vampires.

She growled more and soon attracted the attention of the Lycan Human Merchant who brought brought some rope and cloth and took her hands and tied them and tied the cloth around her mouth to keep her quiet and still. A tear fell down her very angry looking face as she stood still getting poked and scratched more to see if she'd put on more of a show for them after seeing her get into trouble.

Emelia watched as her potential buyers went to a different human to buy. Emelia watched as the other not so appealing looking creatures poked her. She hoped none would buy her Just to suck all the blood out of her and kill her, she was a cheap deal. Emelia shook frightened at the vampires and lycans around her. She couldn't help the Small scream Of pain and a vampire who looked entirely blood thirsty scratched her On the thigh leaving shallow cut about 5 inches in length and managed to get some blood on his finger which he proceeded to lick getting a shudder. She ran to the other side of her cage but it was a mistake because another vampire took some blood and tasted it as well from the same cut. She cowarded in fear whimpering loudly. She saw a man next to her get thrown into the cage and was labeled 100 dollars. Luckily for him not two minutes after he was bought by a vampire. Emelia looked at them longingly. She couldn't help the few tears that started to escape from her eyes.

Hayley Bell

Hayley growled as she heard someone was going to buy her. She bit down hard on the dirty cloth in her mouth. She Had the Lycan merchant tie a rope from her bonds on her hands and used it as a leash to drag her out of the cage. The merchant brought her to a female vampire and hayley stared at her with annoyance and hate. She growled as she was handed over to the vampire with a comment from the merchant, "careful she's feisty." hayley then tried snapping at the Lycan who roared in her face. Hayley angrily stared her owner with hate.

Adion awoke from his slumber around noon. It was not uncommon for the omega to wake this late in the day, but one thing was off. It was loud nearby, and that meant that only 3 things could be going on: slave trading, a hanging, or a fight. "Uggg." Adion growled as he plopped out of his bed and on to his floor, before actually standing up. 'This place is a mess. I may need to get a slave to help clean around here.' Adion thought to himself looking around the room. He had cups on the floor, an overturned mead barrel by the fireplace, a broken chair in the dining area, and an open pile of fire wood. This was not to mention the deer hides on his floor from his last hunt, as he had not gotten to selling the hides, but he had already gutted the deer. Adion then put on his standard deer fur before transforming to his beast form, then putting on the bear hides that he wore in this form.

Adion then walked outside, after he had navigated the mess of a house he owned, and then went to the town square. That was when he realized that it was later then he had thought, being that these were the daily slave trades and not some early morning specials. "How much do I have?" Adion said quietly to himself, transforming back into his human form and counting the coins in his coin purse. That was enough to buy an average slave, though Adion did not like the idea at all. He then began to browse the cages looking for the sorriest slave that he could find. After looking at some of the other cages, Adion found Emelia's cage. '200, I can afford that." Adion whispered to himself. "Merchant!" he yelled. After about 10 seconds of the merchant counting Adion's coins, the mechant opened Emelia's cage, put a rope for a leash around her neck, and then handed Adion the other end of the leash. Adion then looked at Emelia and smiled. "Come on lass. I ain't gonna hurt ya." Adion spoke softly to his new slave. Now Adion just hoped that his 200 coins would not run off.

Emelia was startled when she was taken out of the cage and had the rope tightly around her neck. She was tugged over to a Lycan with animal pelts all over him. She looked at her owner shyly with watery eyes. Emelia sniffled and tugged at the rope trying to make it looser because it was very scratchy around her neck and started to irritate her skin a bit. Emelia looked down at her feet and said softly and trying to be polite, "Hello, sir." She shook slightly still very frightened from all the Lycans and vampires around her.

Adion noticed the fact that Emelia was trying to loosen the rope collar. "I'll take it off when we get home lass." Adion didn't know why, but he was already taken a liking to calling the girl "lass." He did, however, feel sorry for the fact that he couldn't loosen the collar until they got to his home, as it was obvious that Emelia was getting fairly uncomfortable with he rope collar. As Adion walked with her back to his home, he began thinking of whether or not she would like his little home. It was a small shack that had trouble fitting three people comfortably, but it could hold 2 people. Adion also had a lot more to think about owning a slave, like how much food she would eat.

Emelia followed the her master to his home and looked down at her feet shamefully. She sniffled again and tugged at the collar almost every minute. She nodded and shrugged thinkIng of what he had in mind for her to do. He seemed like a good enough Lycan But looks can be deceiving. "Mr. Sir? Where are you taking me?" she asked softly and quite shyly. She tugged scratching at the rope like a dog would witH an uncomfortably tight collar.

Adion had heard the question of where he was taking Emelia as they were on the street of his home. "We are almost there, lass." Adion said, trying to seem as nonthreatening and friendly as he could. If there was anything that Adion had learned from his past was that 2 types of humans are dangerous: scared humans and cornered humans. He did not want to make his new slave either of those. Finally they reached the door to his little shack. After taking a few tries on each of his keys, he found the one that led to his front door. Adion then opened the door and ushered Emelia into the house. Then Adion closed the door and took the rope collar off of Emilia. "Wow, they tied the damn thing tight. I can see why you wanted out of it so bad." Adion spoke calmly.

The shack that Adion lived in was not well kept. Other than the eating table, cooking and serving items, and the sleeping area, there was a thin layer of dust that covered everything. In the corner near the fireplace there was a open stack of firewood and the eating area which had a broken chair and an tipped over empty mead barrel. In the corner near the door, which is opposite the fireplace, there was a small book shelf with some dusty books on varying subjects, 2 fur hanging racks, a small pile of deer hides, and a few barrels where the food was stored. In the other end of the house was the sleeping area, which had the bed, a chiffarobe, 2 nightstands, and a large fur carpet. The sleeping and eating areas seemed to be the only areas that were kept in any particular level of neatness.

"Well how do ya like it? I know it's not a lot, but it's what a hunter can afford." spoke Adion, obviously slightly embarrassed at the condition of his home. For a couple more moments, Adion was silent. "Well, we should probably get you clothes tomorrow, eh lass?" Adion said in a caring sounding voice.

"That is the downside of being a hunter. Hey at least you don't have to worry about starving." Adion said with a little laugh. It was sad to see how on guard the little human was. He didn't like the fact that she was so scared of him. "Sorry about the mess. I didn't think that I would be gettin a slave today." stated Adion. He never really cleaned his house. He didn't mind the dirt, but if it bothered the slave, then she could clean. That was as mean as Adion was gonna get.

"I am Adion." Adion said before looking over at the dining area. He was fresh out of mead, his favorite drink, and both barrels needed cleaned before they could be refilled. As he was looking at the barrels, his face looked like that of serious thought, and he randomly huffed. Adion also thought 'I should probably get a new mead barrel too.' as 2 mead barrels got him though a week, but with another mouth to feed he needed to increase his storage. So, now Adion's list of things that he needed was: a more comfortable slave collar for Emelia, some clothes for Emelia, and a new mead barrel. Not to mention that Adion had a pile of furs that needed sold, thus proving that he had not spent too much time in the city recently.

"Please do not call me master, Emelia." Adion said when he had heard her over his thoughts. Again the thought of being someones' master made Adion a bit uncomfortable. However, Adion did not show his emotions real well which made it hard to determine what he feels like except when his is in extreme emotion. He then looked over at Emelia for a few seconds, thinking on how she would want one of the longer dresses. For Adion, he was thinking of Emelia as more of a friend he lives with than a slave. "I think I have some aloe to help with that rope burn." Adion said as he saw Emelia's neck and how red it was. He then walked over to his chifforobe and opened a drawer before pulling out a small piece of an aloe plant. "Hold still, please." Adion said as he rubbed the plant on the red areas around Emelia's neck.

"Haha. Well Emelia, Aloe is a plant that cools the skin and helps with burns and irritations. You humans have it in your lands too." Adion responded to the question of what Aloe was.

"I will not force you to clean the house, or do anything for that matter. However, remember that as a hunter, I am not often home. You are the one who will end up spending the most time here, so feel free to clean or re-organize the furniture. The one rule that is important to me is this, don't move the furs stuff and don't re-organize the chiffarobe."Adion stated. What he said was true, he pretty much paid to have someone live in his house for him. Hopefully she would keep it in a more livable state than what Adion could, being as he usually was not home during the day and was too tired from hunting to clean.

After Emelia said that she didn't go out much, Adion said "I am a hunter. Outside is kind of my job, and knowing how to treat a wound with common plants makes the live a lot easier."

"There is a broom and dustpan next to the fireplace." Adion said to Emelia when she asked the question about them. Adion then added "If your hungry, feel free to cook the meat. All the dishes are clean, so that's not a problem. And if we come close to running out, I ca go hunt some more." Emelia was beginning to show that she might be what Adion had wanted, someone who would maintain the house since he never had time to.

"Cooking is no exact art. Much like everything else, it requires a lot of practice and knowledge, or both the food and the eater." Adion said with a small smile. It saddened Adion to see people like this being enslaved for no reason. He had no problem with slavery as a criminal punishment, but the random slave hunts brought in all kinds of people who deserved to be free. Adion then walked over to the stack of pots and picked out one of the medium sized ones. "How much will you eat?" Adion asked Emelia.

Adion saw the confusion on Emelia's face. He knew by the fact that she picked up the pan that she was looking for the stove. Adion pointed to the metal quad-pod that was over the fire's spot in the fireplace. Adion then procieded to say "I don't have an oven, but I have that pan rest. Seeing as I spend most of my time in the woods, I went with that instead of an oven." Adion then walked over to the fireplace and pulled a small box from beside the wood pile and looked over at Emelia. "Do you know how to use sparking stones?" Adion asked.

Adion nodded when Emelia said that she didn't know what sparking rocks were. "Give me a minute and I will show you." Adion said to Emelia. He then began to stack wood like any other cooking fire. Next he put the small starter stuffs, small branches and chips of rotting wood, into the bottom of the fire set-up. "Now, watch closely Emelia. It takes a bit of practice to use sparking stones." Adion said as he began to smack the stones together. How he smacked the stones was he ran them opposite each-other with little force, but a good bit of speed. As the stones dragged across the other, they shot out a quick shower of sparks. "Now you try to start the fire with these." Adion said to Emelia.

Emelia

Emelia nodded as Adion gathered up some wood and put it in the cooking pit. She did as she was told and watched closely as he eplained the true technique or the sparking stones. She crouched down beside him and didn't take her eyes off of his hands. She watched as he quickly slid the rocks against each other with a swiftness and sureness she never processed. Adion told her to try it and she wrapped her small fingers and palms around the rocks and took them. She kneeled down and went closer to the fire. She tried to attempt at the same motion that Adion had done with them and wanted to see the shower of pretty sparks. She quickly swiped them past each other but they didn't make contact and she almost fell into the wood pile, but caught herself by putting her hands on the ground in front of her. Emelia pushed back up and did it again, but saddly to her dissappointment it didn't work. Too much force. She repeated it again and again and again without luck. Too little force. No contact. Not enough contact. Missing the rocks, etc. She sighed and did it one last try and managed to get a few tiny sparks out of it and she gasped. She smiled happy she accomplished something and straightened her posture feeling good about it. She turned to Adion and handed him the rocks. "Did I do it right? I think I did!" She asked him seeking his approval over all her attempts.

Hayley

Hayley smiled swallowing her food as she saw that Asher took amusement to her eating a too-big-of-a-piece piece of cake. She looked up and almost jumped seeing Lucian appear so suddenly. She blushed wildly when he mentioned that they were LOve-Birds. She bit her lip and stood up pushing her chair back in and walked to Asher's side as he started to follow Lucian. She held Asher's hand and followed him to the feast. When they arrived, she gasped and her eyes widened at how much food there was and the qaulity of it all. She took a second to draw in a deep breath and assess her situation. She followed Asher into the dining hall and then it dawned on her where would she sit. She looked up at Asher and whispered into his ear, "May I sit next to you, Asher?"

Adion looked at Emelia with a small smile that showed that he was pleased. "Yeah, you did it right. It took me quite a few more tries then that to get that good of a spark." Adion said. He then asked "Can I show you something that I found helps get the good hits faster?" Adion then put his hands gently over Emelia's and put the 2 rocks' flat faces on each other. "Now you put the rocks on each other and apply just enough pressure to keep the faces in contact. Put the rest of your strength into balance and the swiping part. If you have trouble with the balance you can sit down and move only one of the stones towards the fire, but this takes more time to get a good strike." Adion said moving his and Emelia's hands through the motions and one good strike. After this, Adion released Emelia's and said "Now let's see if you can get the fire started."

"There is only one other way that I know of, but it takes a good amount of time compared to the others." Adion spoke softly. Now he was seeing why she had never heard of sparking stones. "Now watch. All you need to do is make sure the stones make contact like this." Adion said to Emelia, putting the edge of one of the stones of the flat side of the other. As he rubbed them slowly together, a constant, but small, shower of sparks fell from the 2 rocks. Adion then looked at Emelia and said "One last try, OK?"
