Personality:She has an air of what many people mistake as detachment, but is rather a practice of close examination of her surroundings. She has very few close friends, and does not trust people easily. She interacts with a quiet but resonating, confident voice. She is calm and solid, many of her friends come to her for advice as she can often see the "bigger picture" and won't fuss with the meaningless frivolities. Everything she does must have a purpose, and she takes small pride in her determined will. She is independent, only interacting when needed. People find her mysterious, even her best friends, but mainly because she exhibits such immense self-control and speaks little of herself or her feelings.
She can be pushed very far without losing her cool, but when someone she loves is threatened, her personality transforms completely. There is a reason she is nicknamed "Tigress". When provoked past her limit, her controlled quiet persona crumbles away, and is replaced by a flood of deep emotional hatred. She will only allow herself to loose control when something she cannot live without is threatened. When she gets serious she does so with ferocity and chaotic vengeance. She is a dangerous adversary as she does not believe in losing, and her pride would have her believe she would die first. She connects deeply to the old customs of honor and loyalty, things she if often frustrated to see lacking from her generation, as well as the pain of loosing her mother. Secretly, under her "untouchable" front lies a burning heart that loves deeply and intensely, but is easily wounded by those she holds in high esteem.

Kasumi is a stoic girl with piercing eyes and a unreadable face. At first, she looks slight, but up close no one can mistake her form as weak. She has a wiry strength about her, and muscles from her devotion to her training. She is 5'5". Due to her mixed blood, her eyes are hazel. She does not fret with her appearance at all, and wears no make-up or jewelry save for a strange old braided bracelet (from her mom). Overall she has an aura of quietly calm reserved power, akin to that of a controlled dam, strongly restraining it's pressure.
Likes:She likes when people are "real" and honest, and she like's someone who can make her laugh, which she does seldom. She enjoys the simple things, and is most at peace when she feels safe enough to express her true feelings. She practices Kendo, as her father taught her from childhood. Likes to care for her father.
Dislikes: People who fuss over meaningless things, lie, cheat, and mess with her head. (She isn't used to boys)
She generally dislikes the school uniform, as it restricts her movement, but resigns herself to wearing it. She does not have any inhibitions about climbing trees or the like in the school skirt if she so wishes, to the embarrassment of her friends. She hates heels with a passion.
History: Her history is dark for the most part. She had a wonderful childhood, within her small family. Her father was a Kendo artist, and her mother's family owned a small, but significant amount wealth. Her mother was a selfless person, and only took as much as needed to live comfortably near the temple in their town. Her family was devoted to the old ways of her grandparents, and so Kasumi was trained. Her mother, the heir to her family's small fortune was abducted on her way to the temple one October morning. Kasumi was only fifteen, and had started at the expensive all-girls school in her neighbor hood. Her father flew into a rage trying to find her mothers kidnappers, a search that ensued for six moths, growing steadily more hopeless. During this time, Kasumi engaged in many a street-fight to alleviate some of the pent up emotions raging within her, and subsequently saved some of the girls who dubbed her "Tigress". Kasumi's grandparents passed in April, and left the fortune to Kasumi's aunt, feeling no real affection towards their daughter's estranged husband. Her father finally gave up hope that Kasumi's mother was alive and retired to become a monk in his grief. Kasumi's aunt helped enroll her in the newly-opened boys school that needed prospective girl students. The school was less expensive, even more so that she had acquired a scholarship with her Kendo talents. Kasumi decided she would endure anything at this new school, even the leering boys, in order to gain an education and support her crushed father. Some of the friends she had made in Sophomore year joined her in enrolling in the new school.

Others: She has been holding herself together for so long in order to protect and nurse her father, the thing she fears most is failure, and losing those she loves. Kasumi has no experience with boys, she doesn't altogether trust them, and for the most part see's them as opportunists looking to use her.
