Edgy? Is a way to describe Patton's look, in terms of style and overall look. Keeping his dark brown hair a bit long and rather unkempt (has no reason to make it look better) keeping the hair falling into his eyes often. He will occasionally have it all brushed back away from his face, but this is mainly during performances or theater tryouts. His eyes are a warm brown coloring, often with flecks of green in them giving them a sort of goldish tint to them. He has light freckles over the bridge of his nose and dusting his cheeks. He keeps a slender frame, standing at a measly 5'8" he's often considered shorter than most of the freakishly tall giants he's been friends with. Patton's often mistaken for being younger than he is, more often being asked if he's twelve or thirteen. Patton's sense of style is considered "teenage angst", not really caring for his parent's wealth, Patton tends to just wear hoodies and skinny jeans. Often having rips or holes in it, if it doesn't come with it, he'll put them in there. He doesn't necessarily have a preference on looking feminine or masculine, generally appearing more like a boy. But if he needs to, he'll dress up in high-heels, a leather skirt, and a halter top if the role in theater calls for it. He doesn't have shame in his style and doesn't believe anyone should.
living life like i'm in a playThe only child of the infamous Foster's of Los Angeles, Patton seems to be very opinionated. That's one true personality trait of his own, he doesn't make intentions to bury his personality for others. Patton was raised to stand his ground, and often has regardless of the size or stature of those he stood up to. This is what made him such a liked person in L.A, as his peers admired his bravery. Having a tendency to blow off other's issues, because he doesn't enjoy to deal with emotional problems because he doesn't understand how to empathize. Even though he doesn't necessarily know how to empathize with others, he's a great person at reading other people's feelings. Allowing him to deal with their issues. While Patton is an emotional person, and strongly guided by those feelings, he doesn't know how to process his own in ways other than musical or theatrical influence.
Which is what drove Patton to the theater in the first place.
Acting is the most important thing to Patton because it gives him a way to express himself without actually having to be himself. He doesn't hate himself by any means, but he doesn't know how to process his emotional responses without direction. So the theater, and being on stage is one of Patton's greatest joys. He commonly is seen listening to musical soundtracks or quoting lines from some of his favorite plays. Patton has a rather sardonic sense of humor, with a sarcastic attitude that most people don't necessarily approve of. Being the person he is, Patton doesn't really care about other people's opinions though. Often disregarding those who are negative towards him, Patton seems to not be ashamed of who he is. He doesn't feel the need to hide his sexuality, openly displaying it. Another trait that pieces together to Patton's a diehard romantic. When he's in a relationship, he's one for the grand gestures and heartfelt good morning and goodnight texts. He loves the ability to walk down the halls with his significant other's hands in his own. Either way, Patton is an enormous flirt. Often not meaning to be, but when he does it's nothing but compliments and endearing nicknames or monikers. Overall Patton's the definition of a theater kid, he loves the spotlight and may be a bit weird when it comes to some of his humor. But, he's a sweetheart and has his own demons that everyone faces.
i'm so sorry, i'm not sober anymoreThe only child of Emma and Mario Foster. Two darling business executives, who found love in both the work they did and in each other. Mario the son of one the many crime lords in Los Angeles, kept his life from his darling wife who became expecting withing a few months of their marriage. As the months of Emma's pregnancy passed, Mario told her of his illegal activities, and she pledged to be loyal to him. However, their future child would not be brought into this at all. They would be free to live their life, and not carry on Mario's legacy. Soon after this, Mario Patton Foster Jr. was born. From the day he was born Patton was a star. As a child, his parents weren't necessarily around leaving him to be raised by rotating nannies, who didn't want anything more than his father or the giant check they received for watching the child. Because of such, Patton chose to go by his middle name rather than his first, being reminded of his family's influence in Los Angeles even more. Being in school, only made matters worse, people came after him for his wealth and his family's name. Falling into the routine, Patton soon became what was known as a "problem child". His parents barely around, and the women taking care of him, he often went to school under the influence of alcohol. At such a young age, his parents saw the pressure and his mother decided to stay home. Being the trophy wife of the now CEO Mario Foster.
But there was still the illegal activity going on, to handle Patton's issue's his mother suggested theater. At the moment, Patton was discouraged by the stigma of it being lame. He was a cool kid, and theater seemed...beneath him. He gave it a try though and fell in love with it. Soon Patton was at the top of the school and still managed to be in the plays as the leading male and occasionally he'd take the leading female role. Eventually coming to the realization he was gay, never seemed to be an issue with his parents. His father a little icy towards him at first, but he eventually warmed up, everything was great. Patton was enjoying his life, even with the offstanding personality he was surrounded by people who cared. Until his father went to jail. Breaking his entire state, causing him to revert to the kid he once was. He started to go out and party with the people he did before, running up his cards. He began to see the cracks in the reality he was shown, overhearing his mother's conversations with his father's associates. It eventually came to him being passive agressive towards his mother, eventually quitting the whole party boy act returning to his theater kid life. Still going on benders during the weekend though, and then the news of them moving. His father's lawyers suggested that moving to a smaller town where there was little to no people would be great. His mother having been born in Hillchester (his parents having a rather elaborate place there as well), she chose that for her and Patton to start anew until it all blew over. Now...here he is.
don't you waste your breath trying to change it.
