Introduction

The Year is 1742 and a war has begun between the infamous Pirates and the Royalty within the East India Trading Company. There had always been a conflict between the two groups but finally a war broke out. A draft has been signed and confirmed by the East India Trading Company and the Royal Navy requiring everyone able to fight to join the cause. You, a loyal citizen, have heard the news about the war and the draft. You can either be a completely loyal citizen and join the Royal Navy or you can reject the draft and turn to a life of piracy. The choice is all yours.

The Pirates have been sailing the desolate seas around North Eastern Europe. The Royal Navy have been chasing the Pirates. Any Island found in this roleplay can be real or fake.

Prisoners = Any weapon they can steal
Everyone has a sabre except the prisoners

Royal Navy Weapons:
Captain: Reinforced Musket
Second in Command: Reinforced Musket
Navigator: Musket
Lookout: Musket
Crew: Musket
Everyone has a sharp edged rapier.

Toggle Rules

1) Profiles - They must be original. Use Descriptions more then pictures. Specify which role you play. You must have at least one weakness(Alcoholism, Addiction, etc)
2) Posting - You must post often. Do not post single sentences, if you have nothing more to say, describe something around you(Water, Sky, Clouds, Animals, etc)
3) Violence - There is no killing of any enemy characters unless you discuss it with the other person first. Use the OOC chat or messages to talk about a violence sequence. Keep it PG-13. Blood and Guts are fine unless you use too much detail.
4) Romance - Romance is acceptable but again you must keep it PG-13, no more then Kissing.
5) Have fun

Jesse let out a shout as one man grabbed her hands. She twisted out from his grasp easily and roughly kicked him backwards. Her hands immediatly pulled out two pistols and she backed up against her father. "Put the guns down," she hissed as Xavier patheticly managed to break free and join them with a small hand-gun.

Charles watched as many of the men lowered their weapons but then sighed. He looked around at those who still had their guns up and knew that if a battle were to begin on the ship, the crew would be split in half and many were to die. Those remaining would be unable to sail the ship and Charles knew they would crash so he decided to do something. He looked over at the captain and smiled. "Sir," He said knowing he had gotten the man's attention. "Are you willing to turn your ship over to me?" He looked at Jess and smiled. He looked back at the captain as the man shook his head. He turned his pistol toward the captain and pulled the trigger. The bullet flew from the gun and into the captain's heart. The captain stumbled back and fell into the water. Charles looked around the ship as the rest of the crew lowered their guns. "I knew that would work." He whispered to Jess. "Now the ship is ours."

Marie looked as Capitan fell overboard. Then she turned to Charles. "Well...that was quite unnecessary. More than have the crew are loyal to mou, so there was a more 'peaceful' approach. Anyway now that you have the ship whets your next move? Or are you still planning to go to France? In any case we must decide what to do with the passengers. Any thoughts?” While she waited for a reply she told the stunned crew to get back to work.

Charles walked passed Marie without a word. He walked down into the captains cabin and sighed as he sat behind the large table that was now his. He looked out the window behind his chair and knew something had to be done. He felt somewhat bad about walking passed Marie without a word so he walked back up to her. "How many passangers are there?" He asked knowing the ship was not big enough for more then 30 passengers.

"24 passengers are on the ship. 3 of them are just kids. If you want my opinion, I say drop them off in France". She kept looking at Charles as though he was a god to her. In fact most of the crew looked at him like that. "Here," She said as she gave him a key. "It's a key to my cabin if you need me. It's on the first class deck. Oh and I have a friend in France who can supply us with food each month. He's also a great cook. I suggest we, as you English say, 'kill two Hairs with one stone', or was it birds?" Then she headed for the door.

"Wait!" Jesse called, hurrying after Marie. She skidded to a halt before the woman to stop her. "What do you mean three kids? How old are they? What are they doing on a pirate ship?" But then her sea-green eyes flashed. I was a kid on a pirate ship. Why am I asking these questions?
