Personality

Likes: Teasing, fighting, doing whatever she wants, heeding to her whims, a good tumble in bed, laughing at others’ expense, playing cards, making bets, weapons, sharp things, a good drink, bold men, attractive men, strong men…men in general…

Dislikes: People who ramble about the law—who the hell cares? People telling her what to do, people expecting her to be some nice little girl, people who think being ‘nice’ is going to keep them alive, people who are thick-headed and have no wit, cheap alcohol, boring things, and being in tight spaces.

Fears: Slightly claustrophobic. She won’t panic, but usually feels uncomfortable unless intently focused on something else.

Skills/Talents: Appraising weapons and riches, gambling, Adept at swordplay and scrap fighting, Sirena will use every trick up her sleeve to secure a victory if she wants to win—when she wants to, that is.
Weaknesses: Having whims and impulses frequently—and Sirena usually following through with the thought.

General Personality: A free spirit—perhaps a little too much. Sirena does what she wants, when she wants—and as one of the Brave Companions, not a lot people can tell her what to do. Despite being amongst them and being ‘evil,’ she has ‘good’ impulses as well. It just all depends on her mood—therefore, she is unpredictable. She might act two totally different ways to a situations, like slaughtering a man for offense or merely laughing it off with a compliment about guts. She can act both kindly and maliciously on impulse and whim alone. Because of such tendencies she can be quite the wild card and not very set in her ways. She has a mind that is open and not opinionated, and usually is able to accept turns of events and changes in people easily.

Sirena doesn’t think sex a very serious thing—and as aforementioned, she does what she wants…when she wants. There is no commitment of love in these actions, but she does more or less have a favorite bed fellow.

Equipment

Her intricately decorated cutlass is her favorite, named Loreley, but she has an assortment of daggers and such.

History

Sirena was born in Braavos, with a father who loved the sea and the plundering it offered, and to a mother from a noble family. The times he came home was always a rare and special time, because she and her brother would get a gift from his travels. Her father sometimes let her upon his ship and allowed her to play hide and seek with her brother on it, and taught the two siblings how to defend themselves. He called her his ‘little Mermaid,’ and is ultimately why she is called Sirena in the present.

When she was twelve her father disappeared without a trace—presumed dead because of a perilous storm at the sea he had loved so much. Without the plunder he brought back for them to coin, her mother quickly ran out of money and their family was living off of alms donated to them, for her mother’s family had disowned their daughter for marrying ‘such a man.’ Her mother, not used to working in harsh conditions, grew sickly and passed away not long after she turned fifteen. Sirena began to do random odd jobs and also pick pocketed to help her keep her younger brother fed, learning how to fight on the street from scrabbles. She obtained her scar when a man slashed at her for stealing his gold, but Sirena still managed to raise her brother until he was caught up in a fight and died.

After that Sirena went on her own way, soon deciding that the life of a sell sword and criminal was better than what anything else life could offer her. She has been with the Brave Companions for a few years now.
