      When you think of an average Latina girl , you could automatically think of long brown hair, the deeply tanned skin, short and skinny, and well that's completely the opposite of Marisol De La Rose-Santa Cruz; she honestly can't remember a time she fit completely into the stereotype of a 'normal' Latina girl. From her short and curly brown dyed hair with golden tips, lightly tanned skin from years of going from one sunny place to the other, really light freckles that go from one end of her faces to the other, and the bright white teeth. Mari stands far above most other girls her age at a height of 5'10, and while she may think she's average, she is not just that typical Hispanic people like. No child of her family's could really ever be called normal or typical. Not with their stunning bright brown eyes, but like most things Marisol stands out with hers being a bright, almost overly bright color of hazel in one eye and a green in the other that seem to look into your heart and soul. And she is tall, she is far from 'lanky'. Her body, could be described as a 'guitar shape' and curvy as possible, weighting in at a healthy 150 lbs. For Marisol she spent most of her time dancing, singing, and keeping her body in shape to remain the beloved action star she is known as in Hollywood. And while she has lost a little of the tone tone since moving to America during her down time, you can still see it especially in her arms, seeing that her arms and shoulders are a little more muscular than most women. Her light brown and blonde locks travel down not fair above her shoulder when left down, curly, and natural, and always holds a sort of windswept look if she doesn't take the time to slow down and fix it up. While most days she lets it do whatever it wants, there are other days when she working out or just working that she likes to keep it in a very small ponytail or a peasant braid to keep it out of her way. Her skin while traveling for her films was as tan as it could be without her looking fake and has stayed like that for the most part, but since moving she has paled ever so slightly back to what it used to be. But, if there was anything she hated more about her body then her scars around her body especially the one going down her left leg from the knee to the beginning of her foot from an accident on set of her first movie and the two small ones on her face right above her left eyebrow and at the corner her lips on the right, it would have to be those goddamn freckles that are all over her face. She doesn't have a real reason why she hates them other then they make her stand out and makes people stare at her more than she likes.

      The most obvious part of little Miss. Santa Cruz here is her love of the Universe and everything within it. While most believe that it just there and there's nothing they can do to see it. Sora sees it as a giant maze and in order to find your way out you have to make twists and turns that may seem absolutely crazy and idiotic at the time but, later down the road she thinks everyone will come to appreciate their choices. Even those who feel like they made the wrong choice in the moment. All they need to do is stop mopping and being afraid of it and do everything they can to see the beauty in any and every situation. Which may make her that naive girl that never grew up to some but to others, she's no more than that ray of sunshine that wants nothing more than to keep everything alive. Everyone is passionate about something, her passion just so happens to be the unknown. It's her job to find the unknown and explore it. It draws her like a teenage girl to a new Starbucks drink or a guy to a magazine with a pretty much nude Kate Upton or Mila Kunis on the cover (depending on their type), or any teenager to ... a John Green movie adaption or a love story about a chick with cancer and her love for her sister or something. And even though it seems idiotic, she'll do anything for a good story that she can look back on. From flying from Cambridge just to start backpacking all the way to California from New York during the summer before getting her Masters just to make Martin Scorsese listening to why he should take a chance on her for his newest film even without real experience on a huge movie or going all around the the Middle East just to try and find her true 'calling' in life before deciding.

      This girl was never or could never be just one thing, she not just this confident, highly intelligent, stubborn spitfire type girl or this determined, charismatic, and oh so amazing 'hippie flippy girl'. She's those and much, much more. To some, she comes off as condescending, disputatious , cutthroat Oscar winning Julliard graduate who thinks she better than other people and to an extent, she is that. A girl used to being right and the center of attention of any group, showing off the things she has gotten on her travels. And while she doesn't see herself as a showoff or anything, to say she doesn't get passionate and excited about the things she's brought back and talking about the things she's done in her short life would be a lie. But, for those who look past her persona, they get to see the personality that lies beneath. An adventurous, driven and ambitious girl, someone who doesn't take shit from anyone or even gives a shit what people thing. The one who knows basically anything about everything. Or likes to act like she does. Never showing an ounce of doubt in what she is doing even if it is wrong, you'll never be able to tell. And knows exactly what she wants to do in her life and how she's going to reach it. At least, she does now. She wasn't always this mature, for lack of a better word. But, now that she is, she's always the girl people compare their kids to, saying "Why can't you be more like Mari." or more likely "You know, Mari said..." Which she hates being in the middle of but, she can't help what parents say to their kids. So, she's stopped caring what people say behind closed doors. To others, she's the sarcastic, vocal, and overall stubborn know it all, unable feel any empathy for others and loves to show off. And is willing to do close to anything to go to the top and be the best and is one who will never admit she's wrong or that she needs help.

      She likes to think that people can be better than they believe if they just pushed themselves a little harder. Always, thinking people can do better. that doesn't just apply to other people, she's no hypocrite. She's harsher and tougher on herself more than anyone, calling herself names and saying she doesn't know what she's doing when she's doing something just fine, going as far as calling herself stupid and an idiot. Yet, while she is a spitting image of her mother in appearance there is something that differs between Mr. and Mrs. De La Rosa-Santa Cruz and their daughter. While they're great parents, supportive, kind, and always there for their only child. Compared to Marisol, they were a very cynical, overly protective, and pessimistic couple pair, in her eyes they were at least. They seemed like they never wanted to see the good and the beauty of people, which Marisol never understood. You see, unlike them Mari likes to believe that people are better than they are. That even if they seem like an asshole that under all of that is a good person. It's one of her jobs to see the beauty and in her eyes, there's beauty in everyone sometimes you just gotta dig a little deeper and push them a little harder. Seeing the world through rose colored glasses to an extent. Where all the red flags just look like flags. It takes a lot for her to think differently about someone, to think that they really are a bad person and that maybe there isn't any good within them. Something, she hates doing but sometimes... You have to.

      She loves to dream. The young woman loves to believe that if she wants to do something then maybe, just maybe.... she can actually do it, that maybe she'll be able to do it. Some people believe that she is a little.... out there and naive because of this and maybe she is but, hey that's her. She's built her career on her dreams. Along with this, she's an idealist who loves and always pursue high hopes, and dreams, and goals. Never shooting down another person's dreams no matter what they are... Unless they're really stupid but, trust me she'll let it be known what her opinion is. Again, she is optimistic while also being a bit blunt and honest, and well... a bitch. Sue her; But the way she sees it it's better to feel everything and think everything is possible than to feel nothing at all and that every situation is what it is and you can't flip it around into a good thing. It makes her believe that, there's a light at the end of every tunnel. And everyone has a good side along with a bad side, sometimes you just have to look a bit harder to find it. This fact leads her to sometimes think too much, a habit she's been trying to break. But, for the last twenty five years it has not been able to be broken. Not that she has tried as hard as she could to 'fix' it. Since she's not the one who hates her way of thinking.

      But, with every good thing there are bad things. Even with our little Miss. Leonardo DiCaprio or Lara Croft here. While she is adventurous, she can also be seen as a calculating and sarcastic bitch to be depending on who they are. She's got a sharp tongue, and is always ready with a quick comment or a sarcastic quip. One who is not above hurting someone's feelings if she thinks it'll help them in the end and make them stop bitching and moaning about it. And even though her parents have taught her better than this, she sees most people as competition and she'll be damned before getting beat because she tries to win 'Friend of the Year' or something. While she's a passionate leader type, she is a very aggressive, obsessive, competitive and overall bad sore loser. She, from birth has been like this. She's always told herself that number one isn't an option and if she accepts it, she obviously didn't want it back enough. And with that, she has always hated to lose or even thinking about losing no matter what it is. Losing someone in her life included, no kidding. If she holds you close she will never let you go until she's forced to. And if she does lose or show weakness, she will obsesses about it and think about it nonstop and keep herself, her body, and just about everything else she can on a strict schedule until she actually comes back to Earth or at least in the same galaxy, I guess and think about the loss logically like an actually person and not some obsessive director like some type of Stanley Kubrick. But, with the 'Kubrick mode' comes a very intelligent and amazing young woman. Her work gets better, her shots get clearer, her ideas get brilliant, and it was in this mode that she has earned her awards. And, even after she snaps out of it she's amazing at her work, being able to have more control over her emotions and judgments than at any other time. She will think about possible outcomes.

      While she's a attractive and rather charismatic woman, she is rather inept and clueless in any aspect of romance and men and women in general. You see even during her relationship and supposed to be engagement, she didn't get it. She never realized that sometimes they have to come first, and to this day she refuses to put people, who aren't blood before her career. With this, she also never realizes when someone is flirting with her only because her mind is always on something more important like ideas for her next role or the news or her next interview or... anything really, and when someone does attempt to, she just shrugs it off without a second thought only to think about to it hours or even days down the roads and ask herself, "Where they flirting with me?" Yes, yes they were but, by that time she's thinks it's too late and goes back to normal only to repeat the cycle. And her last major flaw is while she's passionate and driven about her work, her credentials and her skills, she's terrified of failure.

      See, everyone has their Achilles' heel and this, my dear is Marisol De La Rosa-Santa Cruz's. She has these dreams and devotions to see the most beautiful places on Earth, or to be the best in almost every aspect of life, to only get better and better before being a household name, not just because of her most well known role as action star, Leona Rivera but, for her films that she directs as well with well rounded and diverse characters and an amazing plot and everything else a phenomenal movie that last over decades needs to be... amazing! And what if she doesn't reach them? What if she's wrong or she fails and she isn't the best? What if they just become fantasies and regrets in the back of her mind and she's left regretting her decisions in life like an elderly woman who thinks back in her life on her death bed or while rocking in her rocking chair on her back porch? She's terrified of regretting life and her decisions more than anything else even though she thinks before she acts, she still feels like it might be wrong which is why she is still learning and still growing.

July Fourth was a big party holiday every year. The fact that it fell on a Friday this year, and that the California weather was as perfect as one could have asked for it to be, only pointed towards the idea that people were going to go bigger and harder than usual that night. Owen knew that his friend group was going to be no exception to that. This afternoon was the day when everyone was officially moving into his house. It wasn't as big of a deal as his father and stepmother made it to be before they left yesterday, considering that the Rockefellers, Slim-Helรบs, and Newmans all had houses or condos within an hour or two driving distance, if not less. It wasn't like they couldn't run off there, or with all of their money, to another state or country if the mood called for it, but they had all agreed to spend most nights in the Collins' abode. It was supposed to be a way for all of them to bond and reconnect, and Owen honestly liked the idea. How long had it been since he was able to hang out with Yesenia and CJ without it feeling rushed? He felt like he hadn't seen Colette in decades too. It was just going to be nice to have everyone he cared about under one roof. Owen wasn't some dreamer who was blindly optimistic and thought that everything was going to be perfectly. He was more of the opposite than that, actually, but he still had hope that all of his friends would want to have as much of a good and fun time as he, that things could actually go well.

It was three o'clock now, which meant that everyone should have been arriving, had they not already. The actual party that was being hosted at their house was scheduled for five o'clock, so they had time to all get settled in before the party guests showed up. With Owen's lack of enthusiasm when it came to partying planning, was going to be a lot more casual than it would have been had Ariana had control over it. Or Yesenia. Or Colette, for that matter. Tons of kegs of beer, a seemingly unlimited supply of hard liquor, a DJ, beer pong tables, a big fire pit, the pool (if anyone got frisky enough to go skinny dipping), fireworks that would go off at the end of the night, and a hell of a lot of barbecue food seemed like a good time for him. He didn't think they needed fancy finger foods, performers or any of the frill to have a good time, but he was sure that if he was wrong, he would never hear the end of it.

Ariana's family's house in Beverly Hills was being completely renovated while her parents spent the summer in New York and Paris, so she had left most of her things at their family's Venice Beach beach house. She claimed that it was an easier commute than her own place that she owned in Newport Beach, but she had promised that she was going to bring everything she needed to his house today so she wouldn't have to make a commute at all over the summer (or expect him to too, for that matter). She had left hours ago to do that, though, and since he hadn't heard from her since, it left him feeling uneasy. The fact that Colette, Chris and Yesenia had been pretty absent contact wise didn't make it any better either, so as he headed out of his bedroom and down to the kitchen, he sent a text message out to the group, one to Ariana, and then one to his sisters separately.

So... hoping you people show up sooner than later? Where is everyone?

With the size of the Collins' house, it was completely possible that some of them were lurking around the property without him knowing, but it felt safer to just check in with them directly.

"Are we seriously having this conversation now?" Colette asked exasperatedly as she practically dived - pointlessly - for the tennis ball that happily sailed past her. To be quite honest, considering the reluctant force the Latina actually decided to put behind her serve, the ball actually jetted past her, but that was too damaging to Colette's pride to fully acknowledge. She glowered at the very curvy woman in question, who smirked while tossing her long ponytail over her shoulder with a haughty flip. Colette's own hair was being toyed with in annoyance. "Where else, but in the comfort of my best friend's company, am I to have such a precarious conversation, Bitchlette?" She inquired in the most annoyingly innocent voice that she could muster. Colette had the right mind to hurl one of her tennis balls at the bitch's face. "Just serve the damn ball." She snapped grumpily, causing the Latina to laugh.

It wasn't completely ridiculous that Yesenia Slim-Helรบ could manage to slip onto the Collins' estate without being detected. As much as she hung out with Owen in the past few years and stayed over just because she could, she was practically a forever kind of guest of the Collins' family, much to the youngest Collins' chagrin, she guessed. Not that Yesenia ever cared since...to be quite honest, she was never here for Alexandra. Only Owen and CJ. And Marisol, if the two could even be considered at the house since...to be quite honest, they were always leaving. If Yesenia was coming over to the Collins' home for Marisol, she would more than likely only be picking her favorite Latina up, barely - if ever - staying.

Yesenia and Colette had arrived about two hours ago, had their things along with Leo's dropped into their allotted bedrooms, and then headed off to the tennis court...which led, miraculously, to their latest conversation. "Match point." Yesenia called and Colette readied herself for the serve. The ball seemed to float in the air once Yesenia's long arm went up, but Colette wasn't fooled. Yesenia may not be as good a player as Colette due to the fact that tennis would never be her sport of choice, but what she had on her side was length in her limbs and power in her -

The sound of racket hitting ball had Colette shifting from the balls of her feet to the tips of her toes, and she took off in nearly the same speed that it took for the ball to reach her side of the court. It bounced off of her racket powerfully, ricocheting back towards the awaiting Latina who easily hit it. Their back-and-forth exchange via the ball went on for a flat five minutes before, finally, Colette proved faster than Yesenia's long limbs, as she failed to reach the ball as it bounced a second time on her side of the court. "Presumptious wench," Colette fired at her for the earlier precognitive bullshit her friend had spewed. "Whatever," Yesenia replied nonchalantly, swiping her forehead of the slight sheen that had formed in the midst of their physical exertion. With a small break with Colette bouncing the ball on the ground to get the right feeling between her racket and the ball for her serve, Yesenia decided to return to the conversation they had been having. "But still...you can't tell me that some part of you doesn't want a little bit of a Christian Grey in your life." Colette sighed and gathered the ball back in her left hand.

"Yeeeeaaaaaahhh...cuz I definitely get off on some controlling ass tying me to a whipping post and having his wicked way with me," she exclaimed sarcastically with a dramatic wave of her tennis racket. Yesenia only smirked with a raised eyebrow as she retorted, "Bet you would if Owen was doing the tying." Colette's eyes flew open and she could try all she want to convince Yesenia that the flush to her skin was due to their current activity, but they both knew the truth. "You...match point," she declared for her irksome friend and Yesenia only had a second before Colette was sending her a fast serve that she missed, effectively ending their game. It only served to make the brunette practically keel over with laughter. Dramatically, Colette clomped over to the servant who had just brought over the strawberry-infused vitamin water Yesenia had had made back at her own home. It was meant to hydrate them and was a bit of a refreshing detox. It just so happened, aside from tasting like strawberries and watermelon with a hint of rosemary, to help with cultivating healthy skin.

Colette had been purposefully avoiding Owen. Talking about Owen, thinking about Owen, being near Owen. It didn't help that she was going to be in a house - Owen's house - where she would have no option but to actually look like she was avoiding him. Which meant really blue eyes staring her dead in the face, begging. Asking for the why, which was the hugest no-no of the year. Like, hell to the I-don't-fuck-with-any-of-this no. Hell to the I'll-take-five-Sangrias-for-five-hundred-Alex no. Just no. And her own bestie bringing up said host was not helping. "I hate you," she snapped at Yesenia when the naturally raven-haired young woman made her way over, releasing her newly-dyed, highlighted brown hair from its confined. The thick, silken strands fell down and around her shoulders in luscious, large waves and despite the slight sweating, Colette couldn't help but hate the Latina for looking like a sports' illustrated model.

"You love me," Yesenia shot back teasingly, smirking as she handed Colette her cell phone before receiving her own drink and following the shorter brunette back to the mansion. "Besides. you need me. Who else is gonna distract you from thinking about Owen with black leather pants and a riding crop?" Colette swore she was going to die as she choked over Yesenia's lewdness, causing the Latina to laugh as she sent out her texts.

      Marisol was awake in her room, on her balcony as she was meditating to get ready for their guest arriving. Plus, to put up with Owen and Lex's arguing she would need have her body and mind completely at peace. Call her a hippy if you'd pleased but she wouldn't care. Ever since changing her outlook on life when she was nineteen she had hadn't any serious enemies and arguments with people. She was always able to cool down the situation before it escalated too far. She didn't even hear her phone as she took a deep breath in and out taking a big whiff of the outside air. She stretched her hands above her head before releasing them, letting them fall to her side. After about thirty-five minutes give or take into her meditation period. The young woman opened her eyes. She moved her sunglasses to her head so she could rub her eye to adjust to the sunlight. She got up and again stretched before making her way into her room to get ready for the day. She still had boxes in her room from her moving some things back from when she was in India for the past four months filming the last film in the 'Leona Rivera' series. Which killed her. She couldn't believe it was over and she balling when they filmed that last scene. Everyone was and she knew it would only be worst at the premiere in a couple of months when she would have to do a speech. But, that was months down the road so for the moment. Marisol brought her mind back to the present and the thought of getting ready.

      The 'Amazon' had already showered and where he room was located she got just enough shade where she didn't have to worry about sweating from being outside. But, she did need to change her outfit. At the time being she was in a pair of compression shorts and a tank top and she couldn't go like that downstairs not with probably everyone down there. Sure, if it was just Owen and Lex, and maybe Yesi then that was a different story but in front of everyone else she was pretty much known to always being put together even while having on one of her many flowing dresses.

      When she had on her black dress and a pair of black wedges to match. She fixed her hair into her peasant braid and didn't even worry about putting on any make up at the moment. It was a lot of wait and she honestly didn't feel like wasting another thirty minutes on makeup when she could be downstairs with her friends. Mari just now looked at her phone as she silently cursed at the time it was sent. She always was on of the worst at looking at her personal phone. Which is why most people used her 'professional phone' to get a hold of her quickly. She read it but didn't bother replying but she did reply to Yesenia's text about Owen planning the party. She chuckled as she sent the text.

      Oh, I'm sorry for just getting home from India after filming a movie for the past four months. It kind of slipped my mind to not let him plan. lol. It'll be fine. He couldn't fuck it up that badly.

      She closed her phone and held it in her hand as she started to head down the stairs of the very large house to head to the kitchen. Along the way she could hear voices belonging to their friends. She couldn't say for sure who was taking and when but she did know the voices didn't just belong to Alexa and Owen. She rushed into the kitchen to see everyone and smiled. "No one's gonna make you a damn sandwich, make it yourself, Christopher." She was already starting shit. She had to. She had been away from this crazy bunch for months. She had to make up for lost time. She smirked before leaning against the turned off oven. "I'm kidding... But, feel free to make me one too. Thanks, buddy."[/b] She winked with a chuckle before turning her attention to everyone else who she hadn't seen in a while other than her siblings. "So, long time no see people. What's goin' on? I thought I heard somethin' about little Leo going a date. Since when was this a thing?"       The Hispanic teased before chuckling.

"Mhmm, I do listen when you talk, you know, Owen," Alexandra responded as her brother told her the same things that he had said every day for the past month. The party was starting at five. She needed to behave. No alcohol. No drugs. No leaving the property to go to another party that was more fun when his failed. She had heard and comprehended his words every time he had said it, but that didn't mean that she was going to follow through and listen to his instructions. Especially the no alcohol one. Did he honestly believe that she was going to spend Fourth of July sober? Like, really? She didn't even think Yesenia gave Leo problems about drinking, and with good reason. At eighteen, they were clearly old enough to make their own decisions and it wasn't like she didn't indulge legally when she went to Europe or Mexico or any other place where the legal drinking age wasn't twenty-one. Her brother was just a boring, stick in the mud, stickler for the rules, and she was over it. With CJ present, she just didn't have it in her to be in a bad mood though. Her voice was actually sort of sing-songy and even Owen's ugly face couldn't wipe the smile off of her face.

Surprisingly, the smile did falter slightly when Owen brought up Leo and a date. He hadn't told Alexandra that he was going on any date, or at least she didn't recall him doing so, and that seemed weird. He was her best friend. What kind of best friend didn't tell their best friend things like that? And aside from that, what stupid bitch was he out seeing? It made her jealous almost the instant that Owen said something about it. It wasn't jealous in a way where she was vying for his heart, per se, but she was territorial. She didn't necessarily want Leo in that way, since it wasn't something she had ever even considered, but she also didn't want another girl taking him. If he had a girlfriend, she would be pushed to his second best female friend and that was not something that she was going to allow to happen. Especially not this summer, when he was going to be the only person that was going to make things bearable for her. Before she could even consider whether she wanted to inquire further on the matter or text Leo herself, Yesenia was talking, and then Leo appeared, speaking for himself on the matter. It was beyond petty, but the fact that his sister got a hug and she didn't made her actually roll her eyes, as if she actually had a right to be offended over that. Really, she knew that she was just taking her currently very, very strong dislike for Yesenia, over the comment she made a moment before, out on Leo. That little comment about needing a thorough cleaning... the way that she had undeniably purposely looked at Chris while saying it, and the seductiveness of her voice while doing so made Lex feel her chest tighten. Of course, as soon as her eyes roved back over Christopher's form, she was smiling again, and she allowed herself to focus on that for just a moment. When he hopped down from the counter and requested a sandwich be made for him, Alexandra jumped at the opportunity. She passed by Mari, who came in trying to shut the idea down, without a hello, and met him at the fridge.

"I'll make you one!" she offered eagerly, eagerly to a point where if she was feeling like she needed to step up her game with that comment from Nia, she would have been embarrassed by it. Alexandra wasn't a great cook, but she knew how to make the basics. AKA cereal, salad and grilled cheese sandwiches. The only reason why she had insisted on cooking him a grilled cheese that night a few weeks back was because it was the only thing she knew how to cook, since cereal and salad was just throwing ingredients together. And even still, putting bread and cheese in a pan on the stove wasn't the most impressive thing in the world. "Do you want it the same way I made for you the other night?" she questioned, much quieter than, but purposely being said as they passed the island that Yesenia sat at. Obviously, Marisol's request for someone to make her one to went ignored and as Lex laid the ingredients out next to the oven, she hoped the girl got the message to move. Lex never even cooked for herself, so it said something that she was cooking for CJ, and Marisol definitely was not as high up as Chris was on her list of favorite people.

She had reestablished her relationship with Colette, made a clear claim for Owen, and had analyzed Yesenia enough to know that she still wasn't much of a threat. Ariana was done in the kitchen and with less than two hours until the party, knew that she needed to start getting ready. Getting dressed wouldn't take that long but she was sure Owen would want her to be ready by four or four-thirty to make sure that everything was in order and welcome those overly-eager guests that showed up a few minutes early. With Alexandra here now too, luckily in more of a perky mood than a sassy one, Ari figured it was time to get going anyway. Keeping the pair from fighting would be impossible, but if Lex was in a good mood and Leo was here to keep her grounded, removing Owen from the mix would only increase the likelihood that maybe they could get through the night without Ariana having to listen to her boyfriend rant about his sister. Plus, if they stood in the kitchen any longer, she was sure some conversation would arise where Owen would have to converse with her sister directly, and Ariana didn't want to give Colette the pleasure of thinking that Owen even cared about her in a friend-way yet. "Why don't we head up and get ready? If we go now, I'm sure we'll have a little bit of extra time to... relax," she smiled, taking his hand and toying with his fingers for a moment as she gave him her best flirtatious smile.

Owen was the human version of the heart eyes emoji when Ariana was flirting with him, or kissing him, or touching him, or just by his side in general. It went back to the whole thing about him never thinking he had a chance with her, and finally winning the girl that every guy in high school wanted. Even a year into their relationship, he still felt immensely lucky when he looked at her, and god, was that even more true when he looked at her when she was hinting at sex. Compared to Chris, Owen was no sex fiend, but what guy wouldn't want a girl like Ariana Rockefeller in bed with him? It was just a no brainer and he immediately stood up with a swift nod. "Sounds like a plan," he agreed with a smirk as he intertwined his fingers with hers. He had been so enthralled in admiring Ari that he had gone deaf to a lot of the conversation going on between the rest of the kitchen occupants. Marisol and Leo had made their entrances within that time, and both had received a genuine smile from him, but with Ari's offer on the table, hellos and sincere conversations would have to wait until later. He didn't even notice the way that Alexa was looking at Chris or consider how unusual it was for his sister, who refused to things for herself, let alone help other people, was offering to cook him lunch. Since he barely noticed, he didn't consider the sentiments behind the action, and in turn, didn't become enraged and inclined to punch Chris in the face for disrespecting his sister. Ignorance was bliss, and in the case of what was secretly going on between Chris and his sister, that was more than true.

"Ariana and I are going to go get ready," he announced when they were making their way out. Then, he looked towards Marisol and clearly in a hurry, said, "If any of the staff have questions about party stuff, just made up an answer, you don't need to come find me. Oh, and make sure she doesn't burn down the house," before giving Ariana's hand a gentle squeeze and following her up to his bedroom.

With her brother present, Yesenia definitely was not looking back in the direction of Ariana and Owen. As much as she loved her best friend, he was being Victoria Beckham's posh twin's little bitch for not really saying much other than few interjections, and she mentally filed it away as something to bring up when she snatched him away from Ariana later. Right now, she had another interest. First thing's first: Yesenia's countenance brightened at the arrival of Marisol, the only other female in the room second to Colette that she was actually pleased to be around. Especially with the way Alexandra hopped to basically suck Chris off. And so blatantly in front of her brother? Guess she can't help that her thirst game is strong, Yesenia thought as she exclaimed, "Hey, my Latina Amazon! So gracious of you to visit us peasants." It was a cheeky greeting and she knew it, and Colette smirked lightly taking a few more bites of her salad. A beat later, however, and Yesenia was digging into Leo. "So, who is she?" An immediate flush rushed to her brother's cheeks, making her grin even more-so teasing despite the fact that her phone vibrated on the flat surface her food currently sat upon.

Before Emilio could see it, Yesenia scooped it up with an expectant stare at her brother. "Out with it, Slim. I will stalk your Instagram feed," Colette threatened, mindfully trying not to stare back in her sister's direction when Owen and her announced that they were leaving. Nope, her gaze was fixedly solely on Emilio. Didn't even feel an inkling of her chest tightening at the way Owen grasped Ariana's hand. Absolutely not, no ma'am. "Guys...it's not...it wasn't that deep. It was just a date." Yesenia and Colette both narrowed their eyes at the same time - and no, Yesenia's didn't narrow because she caught the whisper that Alexa tossed Chris' way as if she wasn't even there - and smirked conspiratorially at each other. "He's still blushing." Yesenia piped in, "Totally." And Emilio groaned dramatically while lamenting, "I can't win with either of you."

"Nope." "Nope." They answered at the same damn time, causing Emilio to throw his hands up in the air and turn to Alexa, even going so far as to round the kitchen island so that he was standing closer to the youngest of the Collins clan, who had only reacted minimally to the announcement of his aforementioned afternoon plans. It wasn't like he had expected some grand reaction, but still. Couldn't he have anticipated...a bit something more. And not her making swoon-y - because that was totally a word - eyes at Christopher. "Lex, you seen Rob yet? Thought he'd be here by now." It took him only a second before he was pulling his own phone to see about the youngest Rockefeller.

With her brother not over her shoulder, Yesenia peered down at her phone to see Chris' text, fighting back every impulse to gawk because...really? Did he not know who she was? It was enough to have her sending him an almost scathing look before taking two bites of her salad, purposefully making him wait for a response. Yesenia didn't like feeling out of control, off her game. Nope, that didn't work for her. After she was done chewing was when Yesenia finally typed out her response, and she finished the rest of her salad in a jiffy.

"Well, I'm heading up too. This dress is sticking to me and some people have work," she did not hesitate to stare blatantly in Chris' direction, levelling Alexa with a gaze for a hot second before turning away, "to do. You two hit me up when you want to start getting ready." She directed the last part of her sentence to Marisol and Colette, with the latter giving her a raised brow that Yesenia shook her head to in answer. They could talk about it later. At the moment, she was throwing her container away and taking her phone and drink upstairs. For a shower. Very much alone. Colette's inquisitve stare only turned to Chris for a second before her gaze flitted over to Marisol. "So, tell me about the shoot. Wasn't it your last day filming for Leona or something?" Colette asked, actually interested and not ready just yet to go upstairs. She didn't want to accidentally run into the white Annelise Keating and her Calvin Klein drone.

It wasn't even his ego talking when he genuinely wasn't surprised by Alexandra eagerly offering to make him a sandwich, even after Marisol had playfully shot down the idea. He was caught off guard for a second when he spun around to address Marisol, only to find Alexandra right there, reaching past him to retrieve contents from the fridge. With Owen right there, despite being distracted by Ariana, Chris made sure not to stare. Lex was definitely hot but as Yesenia had put it, she was just a kid. No amount of makeup or lip injections or times seeing her naked would change that. And Chris was what Mari would so kindly call a slut, but when he was sober, he was able to realize things like that better. It was even just evident in the way she would interact with Owen, or how immature she was about somethings. What was probably rebellious seeming in her eighteen-year-old mind just reminded him that she was a kid, and the only thing that would probably ever change that view in his mind, was enough tequila. Unless he was completely plastered, he would always see her as Owen's little sister and while he could live with that since all he wanted from her was sex, it reminded him that he didn't need to invest there. He didn't need to invest his time or energy into a girl that he would never have a future with. It was wrong, but it made it all the more easier for him to not feel bad about letting her make him a sandwich. He waited until his sister and Owen left the room, trying not to think about the only reason why Owen wold have that look on his face with his sister's hand wrapped around his, before responding to Lex. "I don't care how you make it, but extra cheese would be cool." It probably wasn't the response she was looking for, since he sensed too, that her reference to one of their nights together was probably supposed to get a rise out of someone, but he wasn't playing into that. If anyone got to play with Nia's head today, it was going to be him... and he would continue to reject the possibility that maybe she would be able to do the same to him.

He was waiting for her to answer his text after he smirked at the look she gave him, that had to be in relation to the message, but it didn't come automatically. He busied himself with responding to some other friends' texts about that night's party, but he definitely was waiting for that message, and when it came, he was haughty enough to chuckle aloud before sending his own back.

He had missed most of the conversation between his sister and the Slim siblings, but decided that it wasn't too late to add his own thoughts on the matter in, and no, it wasn't because he needed to distract himself from the comment that Nia left them with. Better to be single than to be weighed down by someone else, right, sis?" When he realized what the girls had been talking about, he decided to add his two cents in there too, because when was his opinion not wanted? Plus, Lex was moving at a snail's pace with that sandwich."Yeah, how was India? Find yourself a nice Indian dude? I knew white guys weren't your thing when you got over me so easily."

Marisol held her hands up as she moved out of the way of the oven so Lex could all too eagerly start making the sandwich. This should be interesting seeing that this girl didn't do most things for herself. Hell, Mari was surprised she dressed herself in the morning or got herself out of bed. As she moved she wasn't able to catch just what the younger girl said which was probably for the best. She turned to Owen as he spoke to her as he started heading out with Ariana. She chuckled as she shook her head. "Don't worry I got everything handled. Just go and have fun you two." She assured before turned her attention back to the group in the kitchen with her. When Yesi greeted her she couldn't help but wink with a smirk on her face. It took her years to be okay with the nickname 'Amazon' but, hey she had to realized she towered over most girls especially in this city and in her field of work. "Of course! I gotta come and visit the commoners every once and while."

It wasn't long until the three turned their attention back to Leo. Marisol looked towards the group as they tried to interrogate him to try and getting any information they could about the girl. When he said it was 'just a date' Marisol couldn't help but just scoff. "You know the last time I said it was 'just a date' I ended up engaged." She wasn't trying to say he was going to marry the girl but, she did like getting under his skin. But obviously not as much as his sister and Colette liked to.

"Just remember the motto, man: hit it and quit it." Marisol rolled her eyes and shook her head. "That is terrible advice." She interjected before Chris started talking again. After a few seconds Yesi turned to her phone and Marisol looked at her and then Chris. She knew there was something there. Mari may have been a little bit of a space cadet but she wasn't blind. Her smirk grew even wider when Yesi excused herself to get changed but not before making a comment that she felt was towards Chris, or Lex, or both. She didn't know who exactly! But, she did know it was one or both of them. "to do. You two hit me up when you want to start getting ready." Marisol nodded with a genuine smile before waving. "Okay, no problem."She waved her off before taking a seat near the counter. When the two Rockefeller siblings asked about how her trip was she smiled. "I still can't believe its over like that was my first series and now it's over." She was actually really upset about it. She loved pslaying the overly sarcastic, bad ass, overly intelligent, and amazingly gorgeous (if she could say so herself) young detective/spy/adventurer. Plus, Leona was the only lesbian character who was the main or title character that she's gotten the chance to play. That is before she played Miss. America Chavez, of course.

But, her somewhat sad smile left and Marisol couldn't help but laugh and roll her eyes once more. When Chris just had to bring up their little 'past'. "Aw, Chris. Are there still hurt feelings there? I thought we talked about this." She faked a pout and put her hand over her heart before turning to Colette and put her hand on her arm. "There's no Indian boy. But Jesus Christ, let me tell you! They're are a god sent especially with their dark tanned six packs. Just--.." Marisol just took a deep breath as she fanned herself. "But, it was just a beautiful place. From the colors, to the people, to the culture, it was just nuts at how amazing everything was. I really wish we could have filmed there longer though. But! I was able to take some of Leona's stuff off of the set plus, I got another tattoo to add to the 'wall'." Marisol moved her dress near her neck out of the way a bit where she could show off her newest tattoo that she had on her back. She mostly called it the 'wall'. She had sleeves, she had ones on her legs, but she needed a name for the tons of tattoos on her back so she decided it was like a wall with graffiti. Hence the name, 'The Wall'. Her newest tattoo was a gorgeous black and white mandala. It was in the middle of her tattoos on her back, covering a few old ones of hearts and birds. Ones she had gotten years ago, during her 'stupid age'. Which funny enough was the around the same time she slept with Chris. When she was sure her friends saw it, she fixed her dress and turned to the others. "Yea, I know pretty awesome but, anyway. Other than that my life's pretty boring. What have you guys been up to since I left?" She asked with a raised eyebrow.

Christopher was never exactly romantic during their late night encounters, but Alexandra definitely remembered him to be more... affectionate than he was being now. She wanted to use Owen right there as being the excuse for why Christopher was acting indifferent towards her, but even she didn't believe that fully. He had always been careful not to let her post any pictures to her social media accounts with him in them because he didn't want Owen finding out, but Lex knew that at least some of his friends knew that they hooked up. He wasn't that secretive about it, and even after Owen and Ariana left the room, he didn't engage with her. He turned his attention to Colette, Marisol and Leo, and it went without saying that it bothered Alexandra. Her glare felt strong enough to burn holes in the side of his face as she waited for him to acknowledge her, flirt with her, include her, do something but he did not seem bothered by it as he continued to tease all three of the others. It was absolutely unacceptable. Alexandra was willing to do almost anything for him, but she wanted that attention in return, and it was clear that he wasn't going to give it to her when he was sober. She knew in a few hours when he got enough alcohol in him, that would be a quick fix, but now that they were going to be living together, she also thought she deserved more than that. She knew Christopher couldn't call her his girlfriend with Owen being a psychopath, but why couldn't he treat her like a friend, just as he did with Yesenia? The answer was that there was no reason why he couldn't do that and still no awaken the beast inside of Owen, and Lex was determined to get that point across to Chris by the end of the night.

And if she was going to make a point of it, then this sandwich was going to have to wait. Marisol had moved a few feet away from the stove when Lex had put the sandwich on it, but her step-sister was going to have to resume her position in front of it now, because Lex was over being a chef. "Finish cooking this or it's going to burn," she said, squeezing Marisol in the side to catch her attention before looping around to catch Leo's arm with her other hand. She didn't give Mari time to protest, and even if she did, Alexa pretended not to hear it. Christopher could eat a half cooked sandwich for all she cared. "Come upstairs with me!" she exclaimed to her friend, already beginning to pull Leo out of the kitchen. "I need to figure out what I'm wearing tonight and I want your help." Emilio was her best friend, and by accepting that position, it meant that he had to help her with her outfits, like it or not. "And I want to hear about this date. Who is she? What did you guys do? And why didn't I hear about this beforehand?" She tried not to sound bothered, and more so curious, but there was definitely at least a hint of being offended in her voice.

Emilio had to roll his eyes the second Chris paraded around the motto he probably lived by on a regular basis: hit it and quit it. Hell, it was one that Yesenia lived by and it was enough to make him cringe. Leo didn't do one night stands or meaningless hook-ups. Not often enough for it be considered a livelihood. At the same time, and Marisol's interjection gave him pause and forced a disturbed expression out of him, he wasn't looking for anything serious. Luckily, Chris managed to bring his sister into the fold and diversion...that was something Leo could do. Especially when it had to do with a flushing Colette, who's typically peachy complexion seemed to turn a light pink as she shot a glare at her brother. "You're probably right. Collie probably is an expert." The inclusion of a nickname the fashionista absolutely detested earned him a scathing look and Leo grinned cheekily. "What's the saying, Collie? Yolo?" His next move was a quick duck, which happened to land him closer to Lex since Colette politely threw her unused plastic knife at him. "Screw you," she growled before tossing another glare Chris' way. "Make fun of me all you want, but at least I'm not the one who'll wind up on repeat episodes of Maury." That had Leo laughing, even when Lex grabbed a hold of him and basically gave him no other option but to nod to his best friend with a grin when she told him to come upstairs with her. Not like he told Lex no a lot, but still. There was no time to deny her request because he was being pulled.

Colette didn't even bother to pay the disappearing duo any attention and focused on Marisol. She could empathize with losing something you literally had no intention of being without. At least, not so soon. Not that she had particularly watched Marisol's most popular show. Yesenia was the TV addict the two of them; Colette watched whatever the Latina put on. And if she happened to have copies of Marisol's infamous television series, the two had not reached it. Besides, Nia had an extensive collection and a lot of Winchester abs to fawn over whenever she got the chance. They would get there eventually. "No, yeah, I get that," she said on an understanding nod, but eventually had to roll her eyes with a small smirk because when did Chris not add his two cents. Luckily for him, and to Colette's amusement, Marisol was quick to respond. Chuckling, Colette offered her brother a small sneer. "You never did tell me what happened with that, CJ," she noted with faux concern, her smirk still present as she teased him. "Don't tell me your game was off. Weren't you the king of this lifestyle?" Her attention was drawn back to Marisol who went on about the attractive Indian guys, which had Colette's smirk widening into a full on, indulging grin. People would call their fawning over Indian guys and their tawny abs a bit of exotifying them; she called it appreciating God's gift. Tomatoe, to-mah-toe. The other girl continued on with her story and Colette nodded, slowly stirring the contents of her cup with her straw idly as she listened.

When it came time to share, Colette only paused for a minute before replying, "Nothing much, just a few projects coming up in the next few months. I've been working on my designs and stuff, nothing too big or anything." It was a practiced response; made it perfect to a T. While Yesenia would be quick to correct her and actually say what Colette was working on, she would rather not, particularly with Chris nearby. She had no intentions of telling her family much of anything, not now anyway. And especially not Ariana and she wasn't going to risk it. The last thing she needed was that condescending smirk and flippant reminder that what she was trying to accomplish wasn't anything particularly notable. She'd rather die from alcohol poisoning, thank you for very much. "Though, I bet Chris has had more fun than the both of us. What number are you on in your little black book, CJ? 145? Herpes to the fifth power...?"

Leo had to roll his eyes behind Lex's head when she told him she needed his help to pick an outfit. She really didn't. Then again, it didn't stop her from asking for it the last time when they went to some random themed party in Calabasas with a few Instagram models and D-List celebrities. But he did perk up, just a bit when she asked about the date. It was probably wishful thinking on his part, but hw wondered how curious she actually was? Or if, perhaps, some part of her was bothered in the way he wanted her to be? As if, he literally had to remind himself before responding with a shrug. "Just Maggie...didn't think you'd really care. 'Sides, it wasn't that big of a deal." At least, he didn't want to make it too big of a deal, not unless Lex actually cared enough to press the situation. They'd probably go out again sooner or later, nothing too serious. But, a part of him couldn't help pressing his friend anyway, just to tease her. "Don't worry, Lex. You still got all my attention."

"Nah, no hurt feelings here. Still living by my motto. Besides, if I wanted you in bed right now, we both know it wouldn't be too hard." He offered a nonchalant shrug, but even he couldn't keep his straight face for long, knowing that this ego he liked to pull frequently was over the top sometimes to a point where it was laughable. In all honesty, he wasn't doubting his capabilities of being able to woo Marisol into bed again, but it probably wouldn't be that easy. Luckily for her and her own ego, he wasn't going to make that his quest of the summer. His quest was the girl whose conversation thread was still pulled up on his phone, and who, much to his dismay, wasn't even typing back yet. So she wanted to play her cards like this? That was fine. Chris was convinced that he could wait it out too. The two of them were both headstrong people, but Chris was convinced that Nia was more lustful than he. Going after a guy like him, he couldn't blame her. She would be the one to crack first, and when she did, he would make sure she would be begging for him to get into bed with her, and not the other way around.

His sister's reaction made him smirk even more, but it fell when Alexandra disappeared with Emilio, leaving his sandwich simmering in the pan. "Alright, Santa Cruz. Looks like it's your lucky day and you were promoted to personal chef," he grinned. The sandwich probably only needed another minute or two on the stove, and a couple of turn overs to make sure that both sides were brown and crispy, so he knew that if Mari protested like he expected her to, he would be able to handle it. It wouldn't have been in his nature to have just accepted that responsibility without at least trying to push Lex's demand onto her step-sister though.

He remained quiet for most of the girls' conversation about their lives, with Mari talking about her television show and her new tattoo, which Chris did admire, and Colette remaining pretty vague about what she was doing, before switching the attention back to him. Which he didn't mind, despite the insult she fired at him. "Come on Coco, you know I only get with girls who are clean. That's why all of your friends aren't getting into these pants, no matter how many times they ask. And trust me, once they get a look at my new pictures for the Hugo Boss campaign, they're gonna be asking." His modelling career was doing well lately. It was nothing like Owen's, but Chris didn't want to pursue modelling for the rest of his life. What he was more interested in was music, but it wasn't something that he spoke about a lot. It was one of the few things that he was actually serious and sensitive about, and with his parents' obvious disapproval towards it, he was always hesitant to bring it into a conversation where it could easily be turned into a joke. To keep things moving, he turned to Marisol with a perplexed look on his face. "You know, come to think of it, the only time I've ever had something close to an STD is that time I got mono right after hooking up with you, Mari. Care to explain?" It wasn't quite true. He had gotten mono around that time, but within the same week he had slept with Marisol, he had probably made out with at least five other girls and slept with one of them too. It was more fun to blame Marisol for it now, though.

For a party that he planned on his own, Owen thought things were going pretty well. It was only 5:30, thirty minutes into the event, so he knew it was optimistic to be calling it a complete success at this part, but he was in one of those good moods where he was close to doing so. Spending a while in bed with Ariana would put any guy into a good mood, and once he had finally gotten out from underneath the sheets with her, he showered, got dressed, and made sure all of the party preparations were in order. Now that the party was thirty minutes in and a lot of people were already here, the chefs were opening up the grilling stations and beginning to whip up steaks, chicken, hot dogs and burgers. There were tables lined with other dishes, some as simple and American as french fries and macaroni and cheese, and others like grilled lobster tails and gourmet salads that possessed more of the Beverly Hills flair. The food was only just beginning to roll out and his mouth was definitely watering, but Owen decided to wait a few minutes before making a plate for himself. He wasn't some grand host who was spending hours making sure that he spoke to every guest, because he honestly didn't know a fair amount of the people there. If anything, it felt like he was hosting the party with the Rockefellers, Slims, and Lex and Marisol. They had all invited friends of their own, and for the summer, the house was just as much theirs as it was his. Despite not knowing everyone, he did do his best to mingle with people outside of Ariana. Her friends from high school were all there and she had went off with them, soon after people started arriving, leaving him to socialize with his friends.

Owen had had a lot of friends growing up, but he was never what Christopher was. He was never the person throwing crazy house parties, clowning around in school, or being okay with getting into trouble. He wasn't as boring as some of his friends still liked to tease him for being, but he just wasn't into the craziness. A good party now and then was great, and it wasn't like he had went a minute since the party started today without a cold beer in his hand, but he didn't need to blackout to have a good time. That had always been the main thing that got between he and Chris, and the thing that differentiated the people they hung out with. They had a fair amount of mutual friends, but now that they were out of high school where popularity mattered the most, Owen didn't feel weird about being friends with some of the kids that were too focused on sports or academics in high school to fit into the partying, popularity scene. Though not making a plate for himself, he walked with an old friend, Ty who was talking about how he had recently graduated from Stanford and had been picked up by Google as an employee in the spring. Owen told him about Leo and how he was planning on going to that school in the fall, and made small talk before Ty left to eat the mountains of food he had piled onto his place.

After sending out texts to three of his friends and Ariana, he came so close to sending a message to Colette too, but he couldn't bring himself to do it. He wanted to say something and he knew he could have easily included her in the message to the first three, but he knew that she wasn't a big meat eater, so it wouldn't have made sense. And yeah, he was at a point with her where he was overthinking that much, to care about the specifics. So, he did nothing, just like he had done for the past year, and waiting by the food tables to see if anyone was going to eat with him.

Marisol scoffed at Chris' comment about it not being hard for him to get her back in bed. Oh please. That was years ago, it would take more than her being drunk and him flashing his little playboy smile to make her even think about it. She had been with a lot better people since him, hell one of them ended up almost putting up with her ass for the rest of his life. Besides, she was too old to be hooking up like she used to. Her mother met her father when they were really young and they were married by twenty. Which was crazy and now her mother was saying it was time for her to meet a nice boy to settle down with. Get married, have some kids, but for Marisol that wasn't going to happen until way, way down the road. "Oh please. In your dreams." Before she could say anything else to her friends, Lex had push the spatula in her hands telling her to finish and before she could protest about it Lex was out the door with Leo in tow with her. Marisol just rolled her eyes. Owen wasn't kidding that girl could be a fickled brat every once and a while. Marisol just hold the spatula to Chris when he just had to make a comment about her being his 'chef'. "Give me a break. I'll sleep with you before I'd cook for you." Marisol said was sarcasm in her voice before rolling her eyes. He was crazy if he thought she would cook for him. What did she look like? One of his little gullible fuck buddies? Please. She was his Oscar-winning friend. She rarely cooked for her dad, so just why would she cook for Chris?

Mari returned to her spot and listened to what Colette was up to since Marisol was gone. Colette did a few things, sure she didn't cram a lot of stuff on her plate like Mari but she did make a living for herself one way or another. Besides she could design a hell of a lot better than Marisol ever could. But, she quickly turned the question back to Chris. Marisol listened to the siblings as they bantered back and forth able his lifestyle. And when Chris said he had modeled for Hugo Boss, Marisol just nodded slowly and wolf whistled. "Well, look at you making a career for yourself. Es tan lindo!" (He's so cute!) She laughed to Colette until Chris addressed, in a joking way about how he got mono after they slept together. Her being... Mari. Had to play along. She nodded as she softly nudged him. "Yup, sorry 'bout that, buddy. But, I had to leave you something to remember me by other than those scratches on your back." Marisol smirked before chuckling.

Not long after their conversation, Marisol had excused herself to go get ready with Yesi and Colette. She easily towered over her two friends at a height of probably an even 6 feet with her red heels on as she looked herself over in the mirror. She fixed her god awful white romper. That her mom had really wanted her to wear since she had gotten it for her only daughter while she was in France. Sure, Mari hated how plain and boring it was but it made her mother happy and no matter how old she got she did like seeing a smile on her mom's face. Plus, she did add her own little touches like a pair of red heels and numerous bracelets and golden necklace. She didn't have a lot of makeup on either. She never was a fan of wearing tons and tons of make up espcailly when she wasn't on a red carpet. She wore a little foundation, mascara, some brown eyeliner, and a light pink lip stain before calling it a day. She left her two friends to themselves before going down to get some of her favorite bourbon from their dining room after she was all dressed and made up. She looked at all of their bottles before picking on one she had gotten while she was in Italy with a few friends. Sure it was a few thousands but, it was aged to perfection and would really hit the spot right now. And she only got more excited when Owen had text her, Yesi, and Chris that the food was ready and to go and make a plate for themselves.

Mari smiled as she grabbed a hold on the bottle. She didn't worry about glasses, Owen had a few probably set up outside and if not she would get some after making a plate. As she walked out she smiled towards some of her friends before seeing Owen, she held up the medium size bottle of Pappy Van Winkle's Family Reserve 23 Year Old Bourbon Whiskey. "Hey, bro. I got the bourbon." She set it down one of the tables with a mischievous grin on her face before going to make herself a plate. As she walked through the foods, she would have to hug a few friends while also talking about what she's been up to, which was just so much fun to talk about over and over again to different people.

"Ummm, Bitchlette...I love you, but are you seriously mad 'cuz Owen didn't text you?" Yesenia had been fighting the urge to ask since the second they both had read Owen's text to herself. Colette had allowed her gaze to skim over it before huffing off to the bar and ordered them both peach Sangrias. Colette gave her a peevish look, sipped on her drink before biting out, "Yes, I am." Yesenia's answering look was of befuddlement. "And you're mad...because...?" She offered a sweeping hand movement, as if trying to elicit an answer out of her best friend. Colette only rolled her eyes, snatched Yesenia by the arm and pulled them away from the crowded bar area and in the general direction of food. Though, she did choose to slow down her pace for the sake of not running into Owen too soon.

Once the conversation with CJ had been over, Colette and Mari had made it upstairs just as Yesenia was finished with her shower, already planning to wear some pin-up Fourth of July bullshit just to spite Colette. To spite CJ too, though she kept that one to herself - but the act was enough to make Colette rush to shower herself and then help pick out the other two girls' outfits. Marisol had been easier; Yesenia was complicated. She was known for wearing tighter or more revealing clothes, but had far less scandalous items in her closet than most people would assume. Colette had picked a tame item for the Latina before picking her own, colorful number that perhaps was a bit sexier than her usual. After all, she wasn't going to spend the summer pining away over Owen fucking Collins when her sister had him on a leash. So, if her romper was a bit more backless than Yesenia's, surely she had every right, right? Yesenia had text CJ the second after the pair had left her bedroom.

"Because it's common courtesy and I shouldn't have to feel like I'm invisible when he was the main one who invited all of us to his house," she huffed out rather dramatically and Yesenia's eyebrow twitched upward, and she chuckled. "I think he's been courteous enough by acknowleding the fact that YOU have been avoiding him. Since...that's exactly what you're doing, right?" Colette grumbled something indiscernible under her breath, causing Yesenia to bump her slightly with her hip. "No," she answered quickly, adamantly even, followed by, "Well...maybe..." She had to take a long sip of her drink then before glaring at Nia. "Shut up! You're confusing me!" Nia's expression was that of exasperation. "I'm the confusing, really?" Colette chose to indulge a bit more in her drink, biting off the piece of peach from the glass.

"Look, babe, the only confusing thing about all of this is you trying to convince yourself that you're over Owen," Yesenia said as they stopped, waving at a few of Nia's modeling friends who had huddled in a canopy-covered sitting area. Colette's face was the perfect picture of the objection she was sure to spew, which made Yesenia sigh and roll her eyes in blatant disbelief. "I am very much over Owen, thank you very much. In fact, there was nothing to get over because I never had anything for him at all." With Colette's back to the food area, Yesenia's gaze rose to see the male in question with his sister in law, and she smirked mischievously before meeting Colette's gaze again. "Oh? Then prove it." Yesenia stepped away before she heard Colette's rather lost, "How?" When the taller female returned in what only was a good ten seconds, she had a fellow model on her arm...a rather attractive male model, if Colette said so herself. "Colette Rockefeller, this is Devran Tasekesen. Very...very attractive Swedish model. Worked with him twice, body is built for the gods..." Devran had the audacity to even blush a bit, though his eyes had a twinkle that made Colette smile. "Devran, this is my best friend and as you can see, she's hot. Crazy hot, a bit of a wildcat...but I'm sure you wouldn't have a problem with that." Colette tried to give an indignant, "Hey!" Yesenia held a hand up, ignoring her friend's cry. She released the much taller male, pushing him a bit closer to Colette. "Now that we've all established that you're both attractive, why don't you both gush about it to each other? Alone? There's even a dance floor for your convenience. Snap to it, people!" It wasn't a request and Yesenia did not even stay long enough to hear Colette's objection to being pushed onto some really, really gorgeous model whose voice honestly should not be that sinfully deep. And oh, it was already hot outside, his hand - which definitely grabbed hers so that they could find seats, should not have been so large and warm - she was going to kill Yesenia.

Yesenia's smirk didn't die down at all, not even when she finally approached Owen as he was fixing a plate. She didn't bother to excuse herself for basically getting in front of the girl behind him, only reached over her to grab an empty plate. "Hey, handsome!" She exclaimed and bumped him lightly with her hip. "Collie would be over, but...she looks a bit distracted, don't you think?" As nonchalantly as possible, she nodded over in Colette and Devran's direction, her smirk appearing only for a second as the towering male flirted with her friend before turning her attention back to Owen. "They're kinda cute, right?" A second later, and a bit covertly with a quick glance around, she inquired, "And where's your leading lady, anyway?"

As always, it had not been too hard to find something for Alexa to wear. Mainly because he didn't always really have to do much of anything other than give an affirmative nod or a casual shake of his head. Perhaps for Owen's sake, maybe for her own, Lex had actually gone with a much more demure option. Leo hadn't really offered too much of an opinion when he had seen it set out on her bed, but he was pretty sure his silence and honestly whipped expression should have been enough. Then again, most of the time, Lex either didn't notice or he had been really good at covering it. Either way, once Lex had picked out her outfit, she had shooed him away for a bit to change and he had done the same once he had gotten back to his room. Maggie had let him know that she and her crew were on their way, he text Yesenia to let her know since she was party buddies with three of them, and then he headed out the second he had gotten a text from Lex.

His attention was brought back tot he present when Lex's elbow bumped into his arm and Leo started just slightly, blinking before meeting her gaze again. She had that really playful, inquisitive stare and to be quite honest, he had been momentarily distracted by the way her tongue peeked out to coyly (and it probably wasn't even fucking coy; he was just that pathetic, honestly) play with her straw. Coughing out a smile and really just trying to focus his brain because randomly staring at your best friend's mouth for 0.5 seconds was not appropriate on any level, Leo chuckled and took a large gulp of his Jack and Coke. "Uh, yeah, yeah. She's supposed to be...should be here any minute now." Honestly, in the span of the two seconds it took to get distracted by Lex's mouth and then right himself so that he wouldn't get caught, Leo almost had been like "Maggie, who?". Almost. Painting on a grin, he elbowed Lex back playfully while inquiring, "Don't tell me you're about to be one of those best friends and twenty-question her the second you meet her?"

Yesenia really had to fight herself from laughing. Really, not laughing was an actual chore the second Owen looked in Colette's direction and while her best friend wasn't focused on her, Yesenia bit her lower lip to stifle a snicker. Did she dislike Ariana Rockefeller? Yes, to the motherfucking-praise-Jesus-hallelujah-yes. Ariana Rockefeller's condescending, vain, manipulative, no-loyalty-to-anyone-but-my-ass-kissers-and-stuck-up-self ass could take a long dive over a very steep cliff for all she cared. Did she dislike the woman enough to support her boyfriend cheating on her or wanting someone else? Surprisingly, no. No one deserved that and Nia wouldn't wish that on her worst of enemies. At the same time, just like there was something absolutely undeniable between herself and CJ (and this was asking her from an objective standpoint because from a personal one, they were just having fun), there had also been something between Owen and Colette long before Ariana reminded everyone else that she was a factor. And if fucking with her best friend enough just so that he can see how much he actually wanted her other best friend even though he was dating said best friend's twin sister was a bit fucked up, well...then fuck it! It wasn't like Yesenia had ever claimed that she was all good and vigilant.

"I don't know...Devran has quite the fanbase and he seems pretty interested in our girl," she commented casually, making a show of picking out a few pieces of fried shrimp, french fries and roasted corn. She wasn't going to push too hard, especially considering the fact that she didn't need Owen figuring out what she was doing, not yet anyway. They were going to have the discussion eventually; just not with hundreds of guests and ish. Totally not the business. Luckily, he moved things right along with answering about Ariana and Nia made a show of rolling her eyes, pretending to be peeved when Ariana had not even so much as looked in her direction since earlier in the day. "Lucky me!" She exclaimed dryly, sarcasm laced in her voice as she reached for what looked to be bacon cheeseburger sliders and barbecue spareribs. It was a horrible plate to be concocting, and it would only get worse once Nia made it to where the lobster was on the other table. But she reasoned that she had a damn salad and would probably have another with lots of fruit. Plus, her metabolism rivaled with CJ's on a good day and this was a very good day. "Maybe we'll even go get our nails and hair done, sip on wine and talk about whether or not you're actually good in bed." She even winked at Owen, teasing, for just a second before full-out grinning at him in good nature.

It was as if Chris' someone-is-obviously-talking-about-my-fine-ass senses were tingling because it was one second that Nia was considering a playful response to Owen's inquiry about him, and then the honored guest was before them, with an ever-present grin and eyes that really should not have that fucking twinkle. Yesenia released a breathy chuckle - and she hated that it was breathy because it meant that CJ actually affected her that quickly and she would be damned - before sliding on up to him, forgetting about Owen's presence for just a moment. "Awww, babe," she purred and traced up the veins of the forearm his plate was perched on with her fingertips, the lightest of grazes, stopping just as her fingertips reached his wrist. "That's the sweet thing about energy bunnies. All you gotta do is find the right...spark..." She released the word "spark" with a small pop of her lips, leaning in to distract him from the fact that Nia had very much stolen a piece of pineapple from his plate. Finally, she leaned back with a rather salacious smirk and finished, "And then...all yours." Without pretense, she popped the pineapple chunk into her mouth before glancing over her shoulder at Owen. "I'll tell Bitchlette you said hi...unless, of course...you do that yourself. I'm sure she and boy toy over there won't mind." With a parting wink, Nia went in the direction of the table that CJ had come from, a casually sensual sway in her hips as she found Marisol. "Hey, lovely! Having fun yet?"

When Leo called her out on maybe being a little bit too interested in Maggie, she frowned. "Of course not," she said, faking offense. She was going to find a reason to dislike the girl even if she was a reincarnated version of Mother Teresa, but that wasn't something that Leo needed to know. For now, she was just going to be a supportive friend, and if the hoe started to cross boundaries that shouldn't have even existed, if Leo was just a best friend, than Lex would figure out what she wanted to do. It most likely would not be as sweet as firing questions at her, though. "If your sister likes her, than I'm sure she passed every background check that I could try to pull on her. I still think it's weird that you just pulled her out of thin air, though. Like, who even is she?" It was completely possible that Leo had mentioned her before, maybe even tagged her in an Instagram pic or something, but Alexa couldn't recall. Maybe she had been too caught up in her own life at the moment, or maybe Leo had never mentioned her. She couldn't fathom why, if he was friendly enough with her where they could go on a date, but Lex told herself that it wasn't important enough to dwell on.

"And, for the record, I will hold it against you if you ditch me for her tonight. At least if it happens before my friends get here." She had invited a bunch of people to the party, but only Shamari and Jordyn were coming. She didn't blame the rest of her friends for having better plans, especially when she had spent most of the past few weeks complaining to them about how dead Owen's party was going to be. With just one look around, that clearly was not the case. Her brother was one of the top male models in the world, so she should have known that the people he invited were going to be beyond attractive. No matter how many of them passed by her and Leo at the bar, Chris was the only one who really wowed her. The way that he barely even acknowledged her and Leo reminded her that things between them was different now. She needed to talk to him, but she wanted to wait until he had a few drinks in him. If all else failed and Leo ditched her and Chris kept this barely-interested act up, Alexandra was content with leaving the party and catching up with her friends elsewhere. She had been invited to a party in Malibu, and she was still waiting to hear back from Kendall on what she was doing. She wasn't sure what she would end up doing tonight, but one thing was for sure, and that was that she was not going to let this night be ruined by anyone. Not CJ, not Owen, and definitely not this mysterious Maggie. Just to make sure that motto was realistic, she sent out a quick text to Marisol.

I might leave to go to another party in a little so cover for me if owen asks where i am. ily

Her drink was empty by this point, but she opted not to get a refill yet. Instead she set the empty glass down and decided that she was ready to eat. "Let's eat. I'll totally be able to judge her by whatever she puts on her plate, so tell her to meet us over there," Lex teased, though she purposely linked her arm with Leo's just in case Maggie happened to meet them half way.
