Dani grabbed her backpack and called Seth, Deirdre, and Kaylee. "Hey, I've got my stuff. I'll meet you at the corner, then we can go." She hoped they would meet her there. She didn't want to wait any longer to run away, afraid that she would get caught and killed. She still couldn't believe that she was doing this. She headed to the corner and pulled out her small compact mirror she had brought to figure out how to make her fangs come out again. "I guess they don't come unless I'm hungry or something." she said to herself.

Kaylee drove up to the corner by Dani's house, she turned down the pounding techno music just enough so that Dani could hear the beeps that meant the Prius was unlocked, "Come on! Hurry up! Or I'll leave without you! Wait- never mind. I wont. That would be murder. I don't murder."

She waited for Dani to get into the car and as soon as the door was closed, she hit the gas and the tires squealed loudly as they drove off.

"Encore! Hardcore! Rock you down to the floor! Posse saw you on the border! Jungle jumper under order!"

Dani rolled her eyes and smiled at the typical singing Kaylee. She reached for the volume and turned it down enough for Kaylee to hear her.

"Did you pack everything you need?" She looked at Kaylee waiting for a response. She knew that touching the volume of her music wasn't the smartest idea.

Seth's right foot tapped against a text book that he 'borrowed' from the school. He tapped his wooden drumsticks against the glove box and the window. After a long drum solo he slammed the sticks against the glove box and it snapped open. "Oh tell me someone saw that!" He said in astonishment and looked around at the people in the car.

Dani laughed then said,"Yes Seth, I saw that. It was pretty cool. Do you have everything you're gonna need for this?" She felt a bit like she was taking control of everything by asking them, but it was necessary. She waited for a response before taking her i-pod out and plugging her earphones in. Where would she be without her precious Cinema Bizarre?

"Seth, are you old enough to drive yet? I think Kaylee won't get us far with the way she drives. We'd be dead." She looked at Kaylee wondering if she heard that.

"Hey Kaylee, we need to stop by Deirdre's house. Call her to make sure she is done packing and so that she knows we are on our way."

"I packed months ago, and you're just about the millionth person who's asked me that," she complained as she reached for the radio, turning it off and retrieving her I-pod from the open glove compartment.

She placed one earbud in and hit play, her music suddenly blaring in her ears.

"Already called earlier," she said, "and yeah, I saw that Seth. Plus, it's my car, so I'm driving. Don't complain that I don't have a permit or license or whatever. It's better than nothing!"

She slammed her foot on the gas and the car jerked as it sped up, racing down street after street until she slammed on the breaks, signaling their arrival at Deirdre's house. Kaylee opened her door and hopped out of the car, racing up to the door and opening it.

"DEI! GET YOUR TUSHIE DOWN HERE OR WE'RE GOING TO THE MOVIES WITHOUT YOU!" Kaylee yelled, knowing Dei and her parents were used to the call.

Dani wished that Kalylee didn't have that "It's her car excuse so she could drive how she wants" excuse, because if she didn't then somebody else would definitely be driving. She smiled and said "ok" making sure Kaylee wasn't mad at her. She didn't seem to be, but she still didn't want to take the chances.

She flew forward into her seatbelt as Kaylee stopped in front of Deirdre's house. She was used to this by now since Kaylee always seemed to be the one to be driving.

Going on the run is going to be a bit harder when Kaylee drives like this. "Hey Kaylee, you do know that we can't keep the car while we are on the run, don't you?" She looked at her with a mocking smile.

Deirdre threw her last hoodie into her bag and threw it over her shoulder and brushed her wavy black hair out of her eyes and looked at herself in the mirror, she was wearing a black corset top, jeans with drawing and writing on them, and then her Converses, her makeup was average for her - heavy eyeliner and dark eyeshadow, and that was all. If you look in the mirror and don't like what you see, you'll find out first hand what it's like to be me... She thought with a sigh and then shook her head, walking down the stairs, she saw her brother Johnny sprawled out across the couch watching what looked to be MTV, "Yo, Johnny...Bye." She waved at him.

Johnny looked up and grinned, "Deirdreee!" He leaped up from the couch like a dork and half-tackled her in a hug, "See you later, Lil sis..." He smiled at her. Deirdre wanted to tell him that he most likely wouldn't see her again but she couldn't, "Mhm...Bye." She gave her brother a quick hug and they shared one last look before she pulled her iPod out of her pocket and turned up the volume to one of her favorite songs. Memories, sharp as daggers, pierce into the flesh of today. Suicide of love took away all that matters, and buried the remains in an unmarked grave in your heart... That didn't last long, she heard Kaylee yelling for her, she almost smiled as she walked to her friend, "Hey, Kaylee." She said, nodding and then looking at the car and almost sighing. She didn't like Dani, but she wasn't going to be terribly mean to her...She didn't hate her that much. Yeah, she was a bit jealous because she was hanging around Seth...And Deirdre shouldn't want anything to do with Seth, because she didn't have such a great history with guys, but still...She did like him, but whatever, Deirdre could just suck it up and deal. I can suck it up and deal. Deirdre didn't like sounding like a bitchy little fucking drama queen and she often held back what she truly felt.

"Wanna sit in the FRONT SEAT?" Kaylee giggled as her voice reached a squeaky pitch.

She knew Dei didn't like Dani that much, which was one of the reasons she was offering to bump Seth to the back, plus she knew that Dei wouldn't mess with her music. Actually, she figured Dei would be turning UP her music! Kaylee raced back to the car, casting a final glance back at the third place she called home as she slid back into the driver's seat. At Dani's mocking statement, anger flared up inside Kaylee. Her car was one thing you didn't joke about. She loved her little lime green Prius with it's florescent orange cartoon monster painted neatly on the driver's side door with all her heart.

"Well then what do you suggest, Fangs? That we run around with your superhuman speed and just bite random people on the neck while we sparkle in the sunlight? Newsflash, princess! The fastest way to get away will be with my car, whether you believe me or not!" Kaylee snapped, sliding out of the car and turning back to face her passengers, her eyes narrowing, "Nobody touches my keys but Dei. Got it? And if you're going to diss my music and my car the entire time we're out there, I'm not going," she spoke like an upset, stubborn child, which is how she acted when she was mad.

As she had gotten angry and gotten out of the car, any object that wasn't unmovable or bolted down began shaking, swinging, and very quickly began flying. Each item missed her car, but sometimes only by inches. Most of her friends knew that only the person that knew her the best could calm her down, and that person was Dei. Kaylee frowned, a rare thing for her, and put her headphones back in her ears before hitting play on her I-pod and turning the volume all the way up on Jumpin' All Over The World by Scooter, but for once she didn't sing along or dance her odd dance called jumpstyle. Instead she collapsed down on the ground like a kicked puppy.

Deirdre shrugged, "Sure." She smiled and then walked to the passenger's door, "Out, Seth." She pointed to the pavement next to her and smirked, shaking her head.
Deirdre paused, looking at Dani and then taking her iPod off and sliding it into her pocket, "Dude. Don't mess with the car..." She said, quietly. "unless you really want to die." Dei bit her lip trying to hold back a laugh and then immediately shut up, knowing Kaylee was very upset then. Her head snapped up, "Nice going, vampire!" Deirdre hissed sarcastically, and then blinked, her eyes wide as objects started flying.
"Kaylee, it's okay!" Deirdre ducked to avoid something random flying through the air - it looked kinda like a small child to Deirdre, but that could just be her... - as she ran over to Kaylee's side, "Just...if Dani ever suggests getting rid of you're car again I'll murder her myself!" She said. Dei was in a state of slight panic, trying to make her friend feel better, "Damn Vampire, this is all you're fault!" Deirdre shouted at Dani, looking like she wanted to tear the other girl's head clean off because she upset her best friend. Everyone knew that Kaylee was basically her sister, and she was not to be messed with. God help the poor guy who ever hurts her in the future, he'd have Kaylee's telekinesis to deal with and a very pissed off Deirdre, "Kaylee, I'm sure Dani is sorry...Please, don't be angry with her anymore." Her emerald green eyes begged her friend to not be angry any longer. "I think you've made a point too...You could kick everyone here's ass." She tried to smile but failed miserably as she knelt next to her friend.

"Jeez." He said and hopped out of the front seat with his duffel bag full of his clothes. Seth ran to the back of the car and threw his stuff in the trunk. He then climbed into the backseat from the trunk. "I am all set." He said with a small chuckle and leaned his head against his seat belt so he could go to sleep.

Kaylee felt someone kneel next to her and she clicked the pause button on her I-pod and looked at who is was. Dei. Her friend's panicked face clicked somewhere in her mind and the flying objects around them seemed to fly slower and lower to the ground.

She stared up at Dei's face with her 'unhappy frown and puppy pouty eyes', as she would call them, and whined, "Deidei, Danikinz needs to learn the car rules..."

At that, Kaylee took a deep breath and forced herself to calm down. Objects stopped flying and Kaylee noted a kid that had been walking down the street falling into someone's yard.

"Crap. Deidei, witness! Gotta go. Get your tuchiemobile into Nommy!" She mumbled to her friend before getting up and casually fast-walking to the driver's side of the car.

She slid in and seat belted, and as soon as Deirdre was in the car, her foot slammed the gas petal to the floor, the little Prius shooting off down the street.

"Danikinz, car rules. You can mock my driving, and you can mess with my music to a certain extent, but you do not mock Nommy. Got it?" Kaylee didn't listen for a response, as she was a bit busy handling the car.

She slowed down as she hit traffic, and even stopped! Now she listened for a response from the back seat.

"Kaylee come on, give her a break. It is her first time after all." Seth said with a chuckle that was overlapped by a long yawn. He then drifted off into a dream about Dani. "Hey Dani, what are you doing here?" Noah asked while looking around and saw nothing but darkness. "Dani? You Ok?" He said and put his hand on her shoulder, but her hand turned into a large talon. "Dani?!" He said while moving his hand away and looking at her face which had molded into a demons face. "Dani?" he whispered and summoned a fireball, but couldn't allow himself to attack Dani.

His unconscious body started to sweat in nervousness. "What are you?" He mumbled and his eyes twitched. "Ahh!" He screamed and jolted up from is nightmare.

"I'll make sure 'Danikinz' learns the car rules, alright..." Deirdre said, looking down at the ground with her emerald green eyes.
Deirdre nodded once the objects stopped and Kaylee mumbled something about getting in the car, she leaped up rather gracefully from her kneeling position and glided over the the passenger's door.
"Seth." Deirdre looked at him from the passenger's seat as the Prius was shooting down the street, "You suck. How can all that happen and you fall asleep?" She demanded, smacking him on the knee and not even a second after that was when he snapped out of his nightmare, "Seth...You okay?" Deirdre asked and then looked at Kaylee to see her reaction.

"I am fine." He said trying to play off the fact that he was sweating like crazy. He summoned a fireball and made it decrease in size to the size of a marble. "Why couldn't I destroy it?" He muttered and threw the fireball out the window. Seth saw the woods starting to catch fire. "Drive, drive!" He yelled and looked away from the fire.

Dani didn't feel like talking anymore. She was afraid that the next thing she said would make things worse. Yet she spoke hoping it would get better. "Kay, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to mock your car. I promise I'm not going to say anything about your driving or your car anymore." Then she smiled and let out a dmall laugh. "Plus, at least you can hit the gas pedal."

She looked over at Seth,"Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks." She gave him a small smile to help assure him that she was. "I wish they would stop talking about me like that though. Fangs, vampire, it's not all I am, and only Twilight vampires sparkle and have speed." She said it with some venom in her voice.

Dani turned her head and looked Seth's way noticing he was drenched in sweat. "Seth, are you okay? You're all sweaty." Then she noticed the fire ball in his hands. "Seth! You have fire in your hands!" She tried not to sound shocked, but failed.

Deirdre raised an eyebrow at Seth, "Sure you're fine..." She said, sarcastically and then looked at the woods that Seth just recently set on fire. "Way to go, MagicBoy! Kaylee, this is one of the many times I'm going to say it...Annihilate traffic!" She snickered slightly at the thought of her best friend ducking Nommy in between trucks, SUV's and fellow Prius's...It was true, Deirdre did love her friend's epic little car. Once Deirdre managed to stop her snickers she sighed and looked at Kaylee to make sure she was still okay.



"I wish they would stop talking about me like that though. Fangs, vampire, it's not all I am, and only Twilight vampires sparkle and have speed." Deirdre heard Dani say, at that she whipped around, annoyance growing within her, "I'm well aware you're here. Don't think I don't know you're here. Think about what you say before you say it, because you're life can rely on what you say." Deirdre appeared eerily calm aside from her bright green eyes that could very well be portraying Hell in that instant, fire burning, shrieking...Fires consuming bodies, people screaming for precious life, Satan laughing at his little torture game, the scent of flesh burning...Blood spraying the ground, knives glinting in light...LaLaLa... Deirdre thought and then turned her head from Dani.

Deirdre turned and looked at Dani and Seth, "No shit, Sherlock...MagicBoy, remember? And it really took you that long to notice that about him?" She demanded.

"What is your problem today D?" He almost yelled, she never really acted this way around him, or he just didn't notice it. Seth didn't know why but he felt scared of D, an emotion that he hadn't felt from D since they were little kids.

Dani was really pissed now. "What the fuck is your problem Deirdre?! You need to learn to shut up more than I do sometimes. I am perfectly capable of eating you instead of sticking to my animal plan."

Dani hated to talk about the fact that she was a vampire. Sometimes she wondered if the world would be better off if she was dead. If she was dead, Deridre could have Seth and Kaylee wouldn't be pissed right now. Maybe killing the vampire would be best for everyone. She didn't want everyone to know that she thought about this or they might say she is weak and should just do it already, but it isn't that easy to just kill yourself. Maybe she could just run off on her own and let them be with each other and not have to deal with her.

She looked out the window as if that would stop the arguing and leave her to her thoughts.

Deirdre sighed, trying to release some of the tension within her, her violent thoughts had already evaportated, "I'm just a little...Tweaked right now." She said, her voice had zero emotion to it.
"Don't fight with me, Dani. I am in no mood to be kind. Please, just shut you're big fucking mouth...And if you ever say you will eat me again..." Deirdre's small laugh sounded kind of eerie, "I will punch you in the face. I do not hate you, Dani...Despite what you might think, but really...You don't upset my bestfriend and then act like we're all so mean to you...If I hated you...I would have killed you by now...a plesant slow death. Understand? This is me being nice to you. So I ask for you to be nice to me in return." She pulled her i-Pod out of her pocket and turned up the volume to her loudest death metal song she had, the deep growling and screaming vocals could probably be heard by everyone in the car, the shrieking guitar, pounding drums and bass made it impossible for her to hear anyone.

Dani stared at Deirdre. There is no way that she was going to believe that she didn't really hate her. Being nice? If that's her version of being nice, then being stuck with her is like being thrown in Hell. Everything Deirdre just said went through Dani's head again. She couldn't believe that she was going to be stuck with her and have to deal with her shit. She was glad she didn't respond after D had finished speaking because it would have made everything worse. Instead, she just looked out the window and looked at everything they passed. How long would they be driving? Where were they going? She looked out the corner of her eye at Kaylee who was just sitting there driving like she knew where they were going. She wondered if her and D would eventually get rid of her.

At least she is trying. Seth thought and then smiled. He let out a long exhale and his eyes turned a light shade of blue. Seth had taught himself a way to regain all of his magical properties.

Dani tried to keep her mouth shut and not ask any questions, but she really wanted to know."Hey, Kaylee, where are we gonna go?" she slowly asked in a small voice so that she wouldn't make anyone mad. Dani created a new goal. Don't say anything about anyone or anything that belongs to them. It seemed like a good goal to her and it shouldn't be too hard as long as she kept her thoughts about things to herself. She realized that she kinda did start the whole thing and could have just not said anything.

"Seth your eyes are blue, is that part of your powers?" She looked at him amused, glad she found something to get her mind off of what had happened.

"Just stop arguing!" Kaylee practically yelled, arguing obviously not being one of her favorite things in the world to hear.

At that, she hit the gas and swerved around traffic, managing to squeeze past the planter of trees and up onto the sidewalk, the few pedestrians that were about diving out of the way of the neon Prius that was rocketing toward them.

She poked Dei and pulled out one of her headphones, "Deidei, be nice to Danikinz. I dunno how long we'll be stuck together and I don't want no more arguing. Okay? Danikinz, be nice to Deidei. She could be nicer, but tonight's not really her best night, seeing as how she had to leave her amazingly funny and retarded brother behind. Not really my night either, since you know... I just left my five big brothers and my moms and my, well, whole life behind. Seth and Damion... I don't really know what they've left behind, but yeah."
"I'm sorry I yelled at you, Danikinz, but there are only four things that piss me off or upset me. One: People mocking my car. Two: Arguing. Three: People being bitches to my friends. Four: People that aren't happy, like you and Deidei are right now, and a little bit me," that was the first time she ever admitted to being unhappy, even a little, "so can we cool it?"

Kaylee poked at the GPS some and soon the little computer system had them driving toward a McDonalds.

"Truthfully, I know as much as you, Dandan. Really, we're going in the only direction I can think of to go in. Away."
