Introduction
Your eyes slowly open and you're greeted by nothing but the sound of rushing wind. You blink your eyes and force yourself back to full consciousness. You look around to find yourself plummeting down out of the sky. Down below is a strange forest. Unlike any other you've ever seen. Wicked, gnarled and alien. Your mind begins to race as you fervently look for some means of salvation. There is something strapped to your back. Whatever this "backpack" type object is, its beeping and the beeps are increasing in speed. Then the beeping stops and out comes a parachute that lowers you safely to the ground. Now alone and lost on this mysterious forest you have to survive as the hunt begins. Behold the hunters...
This rp closely follows the basis of the 2010 movie Predators where several of the earth’s most dangerous killers are kidnapped and dropped on a Predator hunting preserve. The only difference is that in this rp the people "chosen" are heroes and villains from Marvel and DC comics. Now obviously I'm going to have to set some ground rules for this thing. We can’t have Superman or Thor running around. Characters that powerful will fucking obliterate all the predators with relative ease. So for this rp you can choose any hero and villain but they have to actually be able to be killed by a predator. They're not gunna kidnap someone they can't hunt down and kill. So people like Batman, The Flash, Captain America, Elektra are fine. Characters like Superman, Thor, Hulk, Wolverine and Phoenix are not. If anyone has any questions about whose playable and whose not just ask or I'll let you know when you pick your character.
For those of you who haven't seen the movie let me set this up for you. The Predators kidnap people they deem worthy prey. The most dangerous game they can find. Killers and warriors. Then they drop them on a game preserve. A planet made up of one massive jungle and they hunt you down. Your job is to survive. You have to fight the Predators, the other "prey" if they deem you a threat and of course, the natural fauna of the planet which are a bunch of crazy ass alien monster animals. There is one more surprise the Predators have waiting for you on this planet. It is one of their favorite prey items.

Peter looked around at the carnage. He then looked at Venom. "We need a temporary truce so we can beat these things, then you can kill me." Peter said the last part as a little incentive.

Bruce put his thumb and the knuckle of his fore finger to his chin as his brilliant mind began to devise a strategy for beating these shadowy antagonists. With the limited information about these Predators at his disposal the Dark Knight would need to study them, observe them. Batman's eyes flicked to the people around him. At the moment one of his few exploitable resources. This all but invincible Iron Man, the amazing talents of Spiderman, the viciousness of Venom.
"We'll need to lure them in. Force them to make a move...If they want to hunt us we need to give them a clear trail and defined targets. Keeping together as a group is safer but will deter them from attacking. We need to be alone, vulnerable."
Batman's mind filed through the small amount of intel he already had on them. Looking through his three brief encounters with them in Gotham.
"They're too intelligent to fall for cheap ploys. We'll need to actually separate. Go off on our own. Meet back here two hours after sundown. This is a recon mission only. Don't engage unless you have no other choice. We have to see how the operate."
The Caped Crusaders plan was beginning to take shape. He only needed to be patient know and allow the events to unfold.

Venom growled at Spiderman, but after a moment, nodded his head in acception. "We hold no delusions of you allowing me the chance to kill you, Spiderman. But we have held a truce before, and most likely we will do it in the future. As much as it pains me, we will do it now." Thinking on what the bat like man said, Venom responded, "We see wisdom in your plan, Black One, but if something should happen to one of us, how do the others know?"

Peter smiled under hiss mask when venom agreed to his truce, he didn't want aliens and a result of a symbiotic relationship after him to. Peter looked back to batman. "We should go in groups of two just in case. Close enough the hear each other but not be seen together." Peter thought aloud. he didn't want to be with Venom though who would try to kill him if he got a chance.
"Take these."
Batman said as he handed Venom and Spiderman comm links they could insert in their ears.
"They're already synched to the frequency in my cowl."
He paused and turned to Iron Man.
"You can just patch in with your suit. Here's the frequency."
He said as he tapped a few quick commands on his gauntlet allowing him to broadcast the frequency of his comm channel to Tony. Spiderman's fears did not go unheeded by Bruce. The idea of pairing up was safer but it would still act as a deterrent.
"If you feel the need to pair up then be my guest just take care not to stay too close to one another. You'll need to at least appear alone."
Batman turned and started walking towards the tree line. He reached to his belt and pulled his grappling hook out before firing it at the nearest tree.
"I work better on my own."
Batman said before taking off into the tree line and dissapearing in the forest.

"I'll be heading west, I suppose. You two make sure not to get into any lover's quarrels while we're gone." he joked before turning and beginning his walk. He'd have to be careful not to let anything slip his guard otherwise he wouldn't be the 'invincible' Iron Man.
Once he began approaching the treeline, he thought a bit of soft music would help. "JARVIS, put on something calming." he spoke, and the suit complied, emitting a slower chorus of music. It wasn't loud at all, in fact his footsteps were louder, but he figured something had to keep him occupied. And so, the hero entered the forest, disappearing from the sight of the others. And the others from him.

Venom caught the comm piece, but instead of placing it to his ear, the symbiote pulled it into his skin. "We will listen." He said as the Symbiote cloaked him. "But we too wish to be by ourselves." He leaped up into a tree, and started swinging away.
It had been only a few hours since the group split up and went their separate ways in the hopes to lure the predators in. Bruce hoped the others would heed his warnings to only study the Predators for now. Flying in half cocked not knowing anything about these creatures would serve only to get someone killed. The sun was beginning to set, casting the forest in an eerie orange glow as dusk approached. The twilight hour gave everything a very ethereal feel. Batman turned prepared to begin his trek back to the ship when he stopped cold. He could almost feel the eyes upon him. Unseen in the wilderness. Batman's breathing slowed as he concentrated on locating the hidden observer. His keen eyes scanned his surroundings and came to rest on a small patch of brush. It caught Bruce's eyes but only just. His analytically and superbly detail oriented mind caught the slight discoloration as odd against the perfect backdrop of jungle flora around it. The very air around that spot seem distorted as if looking through a glass bottle. Batman switched to detective mode and the Predator was revealed. That's when the hunter attacked.

Peter sighed as everyone split up. The only thing he remembered of them is that they had the ability to become invisible which meant going it alone was very bold. Peter shot his webbing into a tree, as he did so he jumped, he used the momentum to swing and with that he jumped onto a tree limb. "I'll set up shop." Peter said to himself.
A couple hours later peter took a step back and took a look at his work. it looked like a pile of dead leaves but inside it was really a home. Peter walked inside and looked around at the fruit of his labour. There was a pit in the middle of the large room for a fire, there was four hammocks against the tree's trunk which was also the back wall of the hut that Peter had made. peter had also made a set of a table chairs with bark and sticks, and of course some of his webs.

Spiderman's spider sense is only activated when he is in danger, and nothing else. Or at least from what I think I know. I'm moreso a Iron Man fan than anyone else :D

Spiderman's spider sense would making it difficult for Batman to effectively sneak up on Spidey but it wouldn't do much the other way around. The best it would do if he way trying to locate Batman is let him know if he was close and that's only if Batman made an aggressive move towards him. Remember, Spiderman's spider sense doesn't kick in unless there's imminent danger. So someone could still sneak right past Spidey if they were stealthy enough.

What about spiderman though, like spiders he has the ability to feel vibrations in the ground and air to locate things. better than thermal? I think so.

haha yeah I think it'd be more likely that Bats and Iron man find Joker. Maybe around the time he's either convincing lizard to work for him or almsot getting eated by him lolol

I'd wait until after a bit longer. I mean Freeze and Iron Man just found him, well, Freeze found a wall, but oh well. Anyways, I think it might take a blow to Bat's self esteem if everyone just found him outright. Maybe find Lizard? It'd be cool if heroes and villains formed a team.

And as stealthy as he is, he still emits heat, which unfortunately, Predators like to scan for. XD

Hey austyn hope you don't mind what I did with Freeze but your post was a little tough for me to go along with, no offense. I didn't like the idea of Freeze just walking up to batman and being all "sup bro?" cause there's no way anyone especially Big Mr Freeze is gunna sneak up on batman. Which reminds me, as a personal favor to me and Batman as a character if I write a post where I say I "dissapeared or vanished into the shadows" please have your character actally not know where he went and allow him to actually vanish. It's kinda Batmans thing ya know. That being said if Tony manages to track him with his thermal vision or something thats fine. All I ask is that you shouldn't be able to track Batman when he dissapears unless there is a valid reason.
