Luna Pierce

I'm not sure if I'd rather be eaten... or fall in love. Both seem equally as scary...

a character in “A Vampire's Blood Mixed With Love”, as played by xSilentButterflyx

Description

Name: Luna Pierce
Age: 17
Height: 5'2''
Race: Human
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Hair: Her hair is thin and black and hangs limply over her shoulders. Her face is framed by straight bangs.
Eyes: Her eyes are a cloudy grey, but in the sun they appear to be slightly blue.
Body: She is a slender girl around the waist and arms, but she has filled out over the years to add a few curves. She's short, but not to the extremes and very fair skinned. She does have a very soft smatter of freckles across her nose.
Image

Personality: Luna rarely talks. Her lack of words is not because of shyness but rather just because of the type of person she is. She is gentle in almost every aspect. Not gentle in a way that brings her to child like level but rather gentle in mind. She's a very intelligent girl and enjoys the piece and quiet rather than the constant babble of girls her age. She very imaginative and can find herself thinking or day dreaming most of the time. She is very mature for her age and maybe that's do to the fact that she loves reading. Back home she used to read all the time. That also might be a factor as to why she is so quiet. Reading involves no speech, really. Despite the illusion of shyness she does love to listen to people. She might not join in the conversation as much but that isn't due to antisocially. She just loves to observe more than interact. When people do get her talking she usually has something to say. She has a great sense of humor, but people rarely see her laugh... however when the do it is greatly worth it. Her laugh could light up her whole face, it could fling her head back, and it could fill a room. She is kind, but she's not one to be manipulated. With Luna kindness is followed be seriousness and the two together make a great pare. Though she looks fragile and innocent a fire can light her whole being when tempted. She is not a child and does not wish to be mistaken as one. She does love a very thought provoking conversation, but never a boring one. She finds often that people who only perceive intelligence as just knowledge can be quite boring. With intelligence comes creativity and that is why along with reading she enjoys drawing and painting.

Image

Likes: Luna oddly loves the night. Not the night itself really but rather the peace and tranquility of it. She adores the moon and was named because of it. Though it might be rare, the blue rose is her single most favorite flower. She also enjoys thunderstorms and heavy rains, as it is the perfect time to either watch it, secretly play in it, or read a good book. She loves reading and writing and can also be found drawing and painting. She loves to sing, but never around people. She loves to converse with people despite the fact that she rarely does. Her favorite colors are red, blue, and black. She has a strange fascination with astronomy and can sometimes be found up late at night gazing up at the stars sadly. She loves to dance but has never really had the chance to formally dance with anyone.
Dislikes: She hates overly loud and rambunctious people along with people who act like children despite their age. She also dislikes extreme cold or extreme darkness. Others do not know this, but she is deathly afraid of complete darkness... even though she loves the night. She hates being completely alone except when she is reading. Luna hates people who are extremely rude and also people who are boring. A boring person does not quench her curiosity so she'd much rather be around people with more colorful personalities.

Image

History: Luna lived in a pretty large family her whole life. They never had a lot of money but they had enough to survive. Most of the books that filled her personal "library" were ones the librarians gave her as gifts for visiting the local library so often. She had many siblings but was often lonely. This did bring her sadness but she stifled her onliness in reading and art. There really wasn't much to her history before she was selected to be a human food bank. This has honestly been the most interesting thing ever happened to her... it's also been the most terrifying. She heard that the quiet ones never survive....

So begins...

Raila noticed as everyone started to make they're way to the basement. Raila had already arrived first and was waiting for the four sibling to step down and into the basement. She was quite irritated that she was the one always having to do her parents work. As soon as they all had stepped down into the basement she spoke up once again.

"Everyone is to get a blood donor to theyre preferred gender. Now our parents want them to at the least live a month so that during this month if your donor dies they will already have someone to replace them with." She speaks softly.

Raila took a gulp for air. She was a bit scared to be the one doing all the talking. As a kid times like this she would normally run to Saturn to calm herself down. But things aren't the same. She regains her breath and snaps her fingers, after explaining to them about the trance.

"Im warning you after the trance they may not have pleasant reactions to this whole situation" She says, before backing away into a corner. The one who would want her will find her on theyre own.

One by one each human had woken up. All of them in a slight trance. The trance is used so that they will first pick out who they what to be a blood donor to first before they panic, freak out, etc.

It had started youngest first then to the oldest. Raila watched as each human woke up in theyre trance. All they simply do is walk to the person they want and stand in front of them. It was quite simple after they have chosen they're "master" per say they wake up for real this time around.

(Please only choose the vampire based on they're preferred gender XD Raila is into males so a male should choose her but it has to go both ways.)

Aidan wake up and yawns looking at his surroundings. He saw the girl. She was the youngest looking one out of the group of people that where in front of him. His feet walked for him as he made his way to the short dark haired beauty. In all honesty he had no idea what he was doing. It was just an instinct. Aidan easily towered over the girl her being abnormally short. He let out a small laugh right before the trance ended.

One the trance was broken his emotions became masked as to what he was feeling. He knew he was taken but he didn't know why. He glared at the small girl. Glaring was not normally his thing but he was mad. Where had he been taken and why he was taken was still a mystery to him. Frankly it pissed him off.

"Where am I and why am I here!?" He asks angrily. He was angry but not angry enough to but his hands on someone. "Who are you people!!" He questions...

Ryan wakes up and rubs his face. As he stands up he feels like he is dreaming for some reason. but Ryan was wondering while this was happening "is this a dream...it feels like one but....I don't know". As he stood in front off he just walked up to, his transe ended.

As his trance ended Ryan was regaining his conscious as as it did Ryan nearly jumped out if his skin and fell backwards feeling more surprised then anything "WHA...WHAT....who are you!" Ryan spoke with a confused and surprised expression while looking around him.

Brooke jumped back a bit when all the humans started coming out of their trance. All of them were being rather loud, and frankly the noise made her uncomfortable, however she was still too nervous to explain the situation to anyone. "Um..." Brooke slowly inched her way to the back of the room. If she'd been closer to any of her siblings she'd have hidden herself behind them, but that wasn't the case. It seemed that Madison already had someone.

Brooke was suddenly a bit upset about all this. She realized how much time she'd be spending with this human, how it might be an invasion of privacy, how she was suppose to use them for food. Even as a Vampire Brooke had always been uncomfortable with drinking blood from people, always putting off the eating process until it was absolutely necessary. What exactly was going to happen?

(OOC: Please people don't make OOC posts in the IC, thank you very much! I posted something in the OOC thread which should clear things up a bit I hope. Please do stop by there!)

Lea had sensed it. Felt like something bad was to happen. It began with people being overly friendly to her, saying nice things once in awhile besides 'bitch' or 'slut'. No, it didn't feel right and she definitely wasn't thinking that they learnt better. Those people were not capable to learn from life anymore and that's it. Means when they were praising you, it's just some sort of mockery - a mockery that contained nothing else than spitefulness. Who would've thought she was picked, of all people, to come to be those blooddrinkers servants, or food to be percisely. Perhaps because she was parentless. Or because her business wasn't pure. But what was pure in this fucked up world anyways? Only little babies and children, she supposed. Once humans are capable to think properly, they're fated to be dirtied.

Well anyways, she had no recollection of how she was brought here, but fact is that she was there in a room that looked like some sort of basement considering the stuffy air and the coldness. Truly nothing she liked to experience right after waking up. Adding to it, she had such a headache it made her want to faint. So she stayed in her laying position, didn't move one bit. It was only then when she knew she was a human sacrifice for she had forgotten that so very important date: December 10th.

Due her nonchalance about death, probably.

"Shut your traps!" She hissed, pissed off because people started to produce such loud noises she couldn't stand. It just added up to her headache. She was already annoyed enough of the whole situation, why do they bother making it more unbearable? Then a guy, around her age, perhaps older, spoke with such laid-back tone to them, she suspected had come down to pick them up. The vampires. Surely, the rumours were true. They were beauties, into an extent that it got her jealous. She wondered how old all of them are - even that little girl there with a Victorian Style Dress might be five times older than her.

How creepy. "So how long will you allow me to live? Or are you going to free me after you're done?" A silly question, but Lea couldn't care less at the moment. Her strength, her logic, all left her. What is left is only the feeling of anger.. and a little despair growing bigger and bigger, crawling up to her, to let her know that her last hour has finally come.

Her mind was fuzzy and her body felt heavy.
Where am I? What happened?
She felt the cool stone beneath her and smelt the mold in the air.
A basement?
Her head rolled sideways and she saw a group of shadowed figures standing before her. She was confused and felt so dizzy. She wanted to close her eyes and just go to sleep, but something in her body was screaming for her to wake up. It was screaming for her to stand. To walk towards those figures. Her mind was telling her otherwise. Her mind screamed DANGER! Her brain told her to run. To get out. She was conflicted and began to tremble. Eventually she forced herself to a sitting position.
There were others besides those shadowed figures. Some were walking towards the shadowed figures, others were still on the ground like herself, and some had backed away slightly.
She wanted to join the people backing away but something was pulling her. She stood up and her legs were weak. She almost collapsed but eventually she regained her balance.
A girl next to her was speaking, a girl with pink hair, but Luna couldn't comprehend what exactly she was saying. She sounded angry.
Run!
Her brain was telling her to run.
Go to him.
Her body was screaming louder.
Luna wrapped her arms around her and tried to hold herself back. She couldn't think properly. All she wanted to do right now was run to those figures she was so afraid of. Why was she afraid of them? A word was scratching at the back of her mind. A name was trying to break the fog that was shrouding her brain.
GO TO HIM!
She shuddered but her chin finally raised. She made eye contact with him. He was tall. His eyes were a dark chocolate. His hair was also shoulder length but the brown locks were dreaded. His skin was warm and his smile was lopsided. She wanted him.
Her bare feet began stepping towards this man...
He's not a man...
Her own voice whispered to her in the back of her mind. How could he not be a man?
She took another step and her arms fell away from her body.
The name was still struggling to fight to the surface, but her feet were faster.
Soon she stood directly in front of him. He was tall and he smelled of something musky and earthy... there was even a slight hint of salt.
Her eyes never broke contact with him and now her small hand raised to touch that strong chin.
Choose him!
The voice that was not her own screamed even louder... but right as her fingers made contact with his ice cold skin she remembered.
She knew what day it was. She knew why she was here. She remembered them taking her and the fog surrounding her until she had passed out. She remembered fearing the possibility that anything like this would happen to her... and also thinking that it would never happen to her.
The moment she chose him that one word finally surfaced. That one word caused her to flinch away from him.
It was December 10th... she had just chosen him...
a Vampire.

Kirwin walked down the stairs, late as always. The humans weren't awake yet, and quite frankly, he wasn't surprised. Saturn didn't look impressed to see him, and neither did the rest of the family.

"Murphy, I know you guys missed me, but Jesus, no need for the teary-eyed welcome back" His sarcasm was painfully obvious, and mostly pointed at Saturn. Those two had never really gotten along very well, due to their closeness in age. Kirwin would still kick his ass, but his brother was much, much smarter. Despite what he had just said, he really had missed his family, especially Madison. They got along fairly well when she was young,

They were starting to awake.

One was walking towards him. She was pretty, reminded him of a wife he had almost 200 years ago. She seemed dizzy, not all there. Kirwin hated the process, he thought it was weird, creepy, and unnatural. Back in the old days, they used to just feed off the crewman of ships they sank. Easy pickings, and it's not like they wouldn't have died in the ocean anyway.

She stopped very, very close to him, and softly touched his chin, stroking the small braids in his beard. He laid a hand on her shoulder, brushed her hair back, and whispered in her ear "This isn't right."

He looked around, everyone seemed occupied.

And with that, he made his way into the wine cellar, and stuffed an old bottle of rum in his jacket, making sure it was completely unnoticeable. It was from the night his ship, The Avenger, and the Jackdaw raided a Royal navy Convoy of five ships. 256 years ago.

He took her hand, and they made their way into his room, and locked the door.

His first words to her were "This system is fucking ridiculous, eh" And then he took a good sized smash of the rum. "Drink?" he spoke kindly, and held the bottle towards her.

Vampire...
She could taste the name in her mouth but she couldn't bring herself to say it. She was still a little dazed, so when he too reached out to touch her, she didn't run away like she probably would have.
Her brushed her hair back and then whispered into her ear. The act itself felt too personal, but his words confused her.
"This isn't right."
He pulled back away and looked around, seeming satisfied, he left to another room and soon returned. Her mind was still trying to process what was going on when he took her hand and led her swiftly out of the room. To the others it must have looked intimate. Her skin crawled at his touch. All she wanted to do was rip her hand free from this vampire, but both her body and mind were still in a sate of shock. She tried to memorize the path they took to wherever he was taking her, but this house was quite large and her mind was still fuzzy. Eventually he pulled her into what seemed to be a bedroom and closed the door. The sound of a lock clicked and she began to tremble.
She flenched away from him, bracing herself for whatever her imaginative mind thought was to come... but she felt no pain nor touch.
"This system is fucking ridiculous, eh" His voice was deep and rough. Her eyes shot open quickly and she furrowed her brows in confusion. He tipped back what seemed to be a bottle of some sort and then looked back her way.
"Drink?" he spoke kindly.
She just blinked at him, but then shook her head quickly.
She opened her mouth to speak, but then closed it.
Wasn't he supposed to be eating her? Wasn't that the whole point of this? But he did say he hated this whole ordeal right?
"I... I don't understand. You're a vampire... why... why would you hate this?" her voice was soft and quiet.
She took a step farther into the room, making sure to step widely away from the man.
The room was dark, and heavy curtains hung over the window. It smelled as if no one had lived here for a while. The room was immaculate and the bed was neatly made. None of this seemed to fit this man's look...
Her head began to throb and she fell into a large cushioned chair, massaging her temples.
She was terrified and confused. All she wanted to do was go back to her crowded home and find a nice quiet corner to read. She didn't want to be a human sacrifice. She didn't want a strange man feeding from her. She didn't want to be this man's personal slave...
She shivered at that last thought. He said he didn't agree with this system, but then why was he here? Why didn't he reject her when she'd chosen him? Why did she even choose him!?

"It's aristocratic, papered bullshit. You shouldn't be forced to come here. We should be able to hunt, like we used to. A bite here and there, nobody was the wiser. fuck this goddamn system, fat cat jackasses don't want to leave their fucking homes." And with that, he took another drink. He was starting to feel the rum.

"Woulld ya like to see something?" He asked as he reached into his pocket, pulling out a small golden token.

Adrai slowly walked down the steps from her room heading into the basement. No body even bothered to tell her that they all where suppose to meet up in the living room with her siblings. She sighs to herself thinking about how much her siblings didn't care for her. Adrai was scolded by her mother to get down there. She giggles at the memory before heading back downstairs.

As she got downstairs she had made it just in time to see all humans waking up. Wow it was an amazing site to her. The pink haired one was very interesting to her. She looks as everyone begins to get paired Adrai was excited her own little toy to play with as she wishes. Adrai stays in the back waiting for her turn to come but then speaks up.

"Pinky pie calm down" She says in a playful manner. Adrai wasn't the type...to pay attention to the way people speak. She thought that everyone spoke the same so she paid no mind to how rudely the pink haired girl had spoken to her.

"Now where o where is my toy hiding?" She says to herself looking around.

Simon slunk down into the basement like a cat, mostly staying out of the way of his siblings. Many of them were probably feeling some sort of bloodlust, or just wrapped up in choosing, because none noticed him. He waited until his turn, examining all of the humans with an unbiased eye. A few were... interesting. A dark blue-haired one caught his eye, but the human didn't seem right. Too shy, might be quiet and uninteresting.

He glanced around, and it finally came his time to pick. He stepped out and looked at the one girl who had caught his eye. She seemed almost... familiar? Whatever, it mattered not. He chose and stalked back out of the musty basement with his new human. The last one he had set free in a large city, hopefully to stay away from the Vladimirs. He tried to treat all of his 'slaves' well, but sometimes, he got a little hungry. Simon usually apologized. Usually.

He walked into his room, the blonde following. Probably still tranced, he assumed. She'd probably be up and fighting when she woke. Opening the door, he ushered her inside. Might as well learn her name at least.

Chella watched the choosing process through blurry eyes. She felt dazed, maybe in a magical trance or something? Who knew what these vampires were capable of. Her gaze flitted through the array of vampire children. They were all so gorgeous... Fair in a statue-like way, almost too pretty to be real. She was a bit jealous.

As her time came, she didn't resist. She was completely out of her trance, but was so enthralled by her new 'master' that she was a tiny bit dazed... Giddy, some may say.

He was a face from her past- her high school love. She'd turned down many suitors in order to get closer to him... and now, how long would they be together? Years? Forever? She was so hopeless.

When they finally arrived in his room, Chella was almost out cold... again. She was so excited... However, she was a bit nervous. What if all of the scary tales about vampires were true? Eek.

"Welcome to the Vladimir Manor. I am Simon, Simon Vladimir. And you are?" Simon bowed to the girl, who had taken a seat on the bed. His room was rather dark- he turned on the light, preferring it to the sun. He could see better in the dark, but the girl might get ideas. He didn't want to frighten away his new companion... Not this quickly, anyway.

Chella smiled, glad that he wasn't going crazy and ripping her open. Sure, she was still in love, but the prospect of him being a vampire was slightly deterring. But still. "My name is Cinnamon Pepper, but most people call me Chella. Pleased to meet you, Simon."

He smiled and sat on the bed next to her. Keeping a bit of distance, he looked around. "Are you still tranced? I would assume not; your speech is clear and you seem mostly awake. I don't approve of December Tenth, sure it's nice to have company, but at least you could get a fight? Unfair, if you want my opinion." He laughed lightly, glad to be out of isolation again. "Most people don't, as I'm a vampire, deadly and ancient predator. I won't suck your blood, probably, and I'll try to make your stay comfortable. Anyway, enough of my chatter. I believe you will be led to your chambers soon?" He nodded, mostly to himself, and walked over to the door as a knock sounded. "Nice to meet you, Chella. I do hope your quarters are suiting. I may see you later." Chella walked out of the room, following the little note-like map she'd been given of the Manor. She quickly made her way to the room set out for her, pleased to see her small bags laid on the bed. The room was nice enough, she guessed. It seemed to be tailored to their interests, mostly...

Collapsing on the bed, she closed her eyes. What a day...

Luna blinked at him from where she sat. It confused her that a vampire would ever disagree with this system... in her mind they were always cruel and selfish beings. However, what he was telling her, it was a completely different side she hadn't seen. Though she was still ready to run, the urge wasn't as strong before.

"Woulld ya like to see something?" He asked as he reached into his pocket. She got up from her seat and made her way over to the vampire. A small gold token lay in his palm.
"Calico Jack and I, we sailed into Mexico, to join the Aztec fight against the spanish, well over 200 years ago. They lost, but we got out alive. But I'm sure you're not wanting to hear of my old adventures." he said and then downed another drink.
"It defiantly does look Aztec..." she said in awe. She'd always known vampires were quite old, but only now was it put into perspective. He'd seen so much...
She looked from his hand up into his face, and now she could see something below the surface. She was curious now. What had all the vampires experienced?
"Are you sure you don't want a drink, it's good rum. It kicks like a fucking mule, but it's good rum." he offered the bottle to her. She was about to decline but then let out a sigh. She was already in quite a shit storm. A drink wouldn't hurt...
She took the bottle and tipped in back, taking three large gulps, before handing it back to him.
She'd never drank before... but now she knew why. Alcohol can be very bitter... and harsh. It burned her throat as it went down. However the slight buzz and warm feeling in her stomach made it worth it. She was already beginning to grow less tense.
"So I take it you like to sail." she finally said. Commenting on his little story about the gold coin. This was probably the most she's ever spoken to anyone she didn't know.
She remembered earlier having smelt the salt on him, it reminded her of the ocean she saw once as a little girl. That thought however made her frown. Her eyes darkened and she looked away. It was embarrassing that she'd smelt him. Actually it embarrassed her that she chose him anyway. She didn't know why she had. Her mind had been so foggy and some voice in her head had been telling her to go to him. They must have drugged her or something...

"So I take it you like to sail." she finally said.

" The sea is my only love, and has been for hundreds of years. The only reason I'm even here is because of the coastguard. Me and a small crew were in Newfoundland, in a small town called Sally's cove. We had just made international waters when the they caught up to us, thought we were trying to make a run for it, despite the fact that we had dropped our nets, and were moving at a grand speed of 5 knots. God only knows where they took the others, but they drove me here, dropped me off, and told me to get the fuck inside. So I did. And now we're here." He took a large swig of the rum. There wasn't much left.

"How about you, what's your story?" He asked, genuinely interested. He was curious of her. He wanted to hear what she had to say, what she thought of this whole ordeal, and more importantly, where she'd like to go when he released her before he went back to sailing. He didn't plan on staying back here long, nobody in his family had seen him in at least a hundred years, and they had nothing to say when he strolled back in. They hadn't even noticed he was gone, not that he was even there long in the first place.
