I stood holding a umbrella as it rained. My left hand was in my pocket, and I looked like a normal teen except for the fact that I had purple eyes. I watched the rain fall, and to others, I seemed greatly interested in it. However, it was not the rain I was interested in. It was a girl standing on the other side of the road I was interested in.
She didn't have a umbrella and wasn't standing under a post, so she was being rained on. The girl looked at me, and I quickly darted my eyes away and pretended I hadn't been looking at her. There was little traffic, so she crossed the street and stood next to me. I was slightly scared, being this close to a girl, and I was rather shy, so I scooted back a little at the same time she did. Apparently she was also shy. I looked at her, and she looked at me.
"Hi," I said. A good start. "My name is Jason."
"Hi," she said back. "I'm Savi."
We stood in silence for a moment, then I moved closer to her so she could stand under my umbrella.
