Description
Name Note: Yyzin is pronoinced "Yi-zen"
Nickname: The Hoffenheim Gemini
Age: 20
Gender: Male
Birthday: May, 22
Looks: Both look relatively similar, same 6ft lanky build, similar darkened skin, however Yyzin has a scar running down his right cheek, hair dyed red, and some piercings including one over his left eye and his ears, eyes are red. Theodore has black hair, wears glasses, and has blue eyes. The posture of both are stark opposites, where Yyzin is more relaxed and bowed, Theodore is upright and proper, at times looking stiff.
--- Personality ---
Yyzin: Yyzin despite his appearance as a street punk exerts a kind of charisma and honesty to himself, noted to be outspoken, sometimes too outspoken. Though not shy from a fight he does not see himself as violent as much as "involved". His Yyzin's greatest downside is that he appears at times simple and a bit under-educated. His good sides are that he's clearly got good intentions, honest with himself and others, and relatively selfless... except when it comes to women.
Theodore: Theodore however is the polar extreme, he's proper, highly educated, and clearly not somebody who grew up on the streets. Theodore can appear cold and condescending. He's a tactician, a thinker, and generally well versed in a variety of subjects. He's the go-to guy for information but also the one who holds information against those he considers threatening. He's not as much a people-person as Yyzin is and this shortcoming is complimented well through Yyzin.
--- Equipment & Abilities ---
Yyzin wears a brown leather jacket with gashes in it and Theodore wears glasses. Their strange quality is that their aether acts like two halves of the same whole, always drawn together and of the same quality. Their strange aetheric bond allows them to always feel the other, especially when in danger, perfectly in sync as if of the same body they have well earned their nickname. Their collective aetheric power seems not to manifest in the form of projecting the energy but having a strange way in compelling others, as if by suggestion.
--- Historical Background ---
Yyzin
Yyzin began his known life as a child wandering aimlessly in the back alleys tripping over garbage cans and the homeless, some of whom would end up taking to him. He would come to be raised in a way as best as they could manage, "just enough". His name something of a joke between them trying to come up with a name that sounds both smart and rhymes with "Rice n' Boil't Onions". He grew up penniless, learning to take what he could and to grasp onto the little joys in life. Despite having so little he learned to value things other than money and he was happy. However, life like this rarely has a happy ending.
When Yyzin was just turning 12 a wealthy family moved into Hoffenheim offering services, luxuries, and drugs in turn for favors. Enticed by the prospect of a better living, a man who was to Yyzin an older brother made a deal with them. In turn for acting as a courier they would supply them with food and clean clothes, including a fine leather jacket. The only hitch was on the conditions that he tells nobody of the transactions, to never look into the packages he was delivering, and to never say no to an order. During one of his deliveries Yyzin followed him out of curiosity. When delivering the package to the recipient, Yyzin knocked over a trash can leading the target to grow paranoid and feeling a betrayal was taking place. As he turned to look at Yyzin he was mortally wounded, and his killer fled, in the last moments with Yyzin he passed on his jacket as a birthday present and requested that Yyzin never be taken by them like he was. A mournful and vengeful Yyzin swore to him that he'd get them back.
When Yyzin became 15 he would attempt to take Hoffenheim from the crime family, only to find the family was taken down from the inside by Theodore who had also grown sick of their corruption. At first skeptical, being that he was a member of his household he would find a strange feeling as if he always knew this man, a strange bond, and likewise with Theodore.
Theodore
Theodore was "acquired" by the crime family known as the Friedrich who were enticed by his strange compelling presence and intellect. He was to be the heir the boss never had, taught and raised, conditioned to be a leader, a dealer and breaker of wills. His strange gift seemed to be in his ability to compel others, to bend their wills and push forth suggestion. He never had much joy growing up, instead would be used to interrogate and issue mental torture the enemies of the family, breaking them down and pushing thoughts into their heads, suggestions, to the point of even brainwashing.
Theodore grew to despise the Friedrich family, sick of being denied simple joys, being used as a tool, and finding them obsolete. He started with the lower end of the family, the thugs and the general dirty work by enticing them to infight through manipulation and suggestion. He moved up from here, to his brothers whom he felt no kinship at all with, he'd get them to fight among themselves as to who the heir shall be. Theodore would stealthily begin leaking information to the Black Knights who would start busting their deals, leading to many to be arrested and killed. When it finally came down to only a few remaining, including the family's father, Stepano Friedrich, Theodore brought forth his final act of betrayal, having Stepano take his own life and the rest be arrested by the Black Knights.
In the ruins of the once great crime family Theodore would slip away in the shadows of Hoffenheim, where he would join with his counterpart, Yyzin in trying to bring order back to the streets. Since then and onward they have grown inseparable, as if they had always been meant as a duo, making a name for themselves as vigilantes, the Hoffenheim Gemini.
