Introduction
{"It is not in the stars to hold our destiny but in ourselves.” }
- William Shakespeare.
Welcome to Clandestine. The year is 20XX, technology has arose and this little, insignificant, green planet we have known to call: Earth, will never be the same. A new race has erupted. The Gladers. A large group of innocent humans of all ages taken and turned into something extraordinary. They're strong, fast, and highly perceptible that help them get through town unseen; their abilities helping them along the way. But these are not your everyday humans, infact some wouldn't even describe them as "human". In the inside; however, they're robotic creatures created by a menacing corporation known as: WICKED (World In Catastrophe: Killzone Experiment Department). They made the Gladers in hopes of conquering and executing every living human until all of Earth has been replaced with Gladers, and they won't stop at nothing until all has been achieved. Though of course the humans themselves won't back down without a fight. Thus, creating war that has everyone either crumbling to their death. In this warfare, sparks will fly, some will be betrayed, while others are just finding a way to escape under WICKED's dominance, and the worst part is it's not over until one side has won.
Two of WICKED's most apprehended Gladers has been captured and are held hostage in an under ground warehouse by a group of humans known as The Keepers who are trying to put an end to WICKED and their corruption they had caused. And they're not releasing the two robotic humans without getting some answers, and as they do so two of them find themselves falling for them. Both Gladers feel some sort of connection to the humans, all while they fear that they're..changing. Changing into what could be human. Changing into something that would mean danger to not only the The Keepers, but the two Gladers as well.

The Story So Far... Write a Post » as written by 2 authors
Where am I? she thought. She took a few minutes to use her mental link ability to call for help to the other Gladers; however, as she did so her head began to to feel heavy. Ignoring it, she tried again but it only made things worse. The pain throbbed and pulsed in her skull; not a sharp pain like a knife-inflicted wound, but more of a dull pounding with a hammer over...and over...and over again. Her brain felt like it was on overdrive, but at the same time can't process properly. Images and ideas and plans and deadlines run through her head, but they're chasing each other round and round. Her mind couldn't catch a single one, but gets pounded with all of them at the same time as they ricochet and slam into the walls of her head.
Nothing.
He took time to let his eyes adjust to the darkness that enveloped around him. It seemed like hours passed since he was dragged away almost instantly and stuffed in the truck of a van; a rather dark and clammy environment. The soft whine from the tires indicated that the van had been moving-for how long was perhaps unknown. The boy can only hold in the million questions that were yet to be answered. Where am I? Who are these people? How did I get here? At that moment, there was a sudden bump that jolted him from his huddled position threw him across the floor. As he scrambled to his feet, he felt the van sway less and less until it finally stilled. Everything fell silent.
A minute passed. Two. He looked in every direction but saw only darkness. "Someone... help...me!" he screamed; each word ripped his throat raw.
A loud clank rang out in front of him and he sucked in a startled breath as he looked up. A straight line of light appeared across the two doors of the trunk, and he watched as it expanded. A heavy creak sound revealed the two doors being forced open. After so long in darkness, the light stabbed his eyes; he looked away, covering his face with both hands.
He heard noises outside-voices-and fear squeezed his chest.
"What'd you think Jeb wants us to do with him?"
"Think we're gonna shut him down?"
"He's a Gladder, let's kill him."
"Hold him hostage, that's for sure."
"How old is he?"
"Quick, get him inside the warehouse. Ain't no tellin' what he'd do."
The boy was hit with wave of confusion, blistered with panic. The voices were odd, tinged with echo; some of the words were completely foreign-others felt familiar. He willed his eyes to adjust as he squinted toward the light and those speaking.
Eric Dodge
"What the hell are you thinking Jeb!?"
Eric was in Jeb's room, since he wasn't the type to have an office. He was furious.
"What do you mean?" Jeb asked.
"I mean why the hell don't we just kill those bastard Glancers!? They've sure as hell killed enough of us!"
"We need information Eric, now go feed her." Jeb said, never looking up from his paperwork.
Eric growled angrily and left, going to the room where they were holding the female glancer.
Krystal Joice
Krystal was just sneaking back from another one of her excursions. She was just about to climb down her secret tunnel when she saw one of the vans entering the hideout through the old parking garage. Must be one of Jeb's new ideas. She shrugged and swung herself down into the hole and went to check it out. When she got there she hid behind a pillar and looked in. It was a Glancer! She stared in disbelief as the men began to drag the boy out of the van.
Instinctively, Azalea's head snapped up as she overheard keys rattling the lock, and the door pushed open to reveal a ray of florescent light that eased its way into the room like the window of a cathedral. Then, in the room stepped a young man. He took a few short strides into the room; toward her. She hadn't said a word. She let fear overtake her once more and her heart beat so fast, she could hardly catch her breath as she scooted herself father away from the boy and the door itself as much as the corner allowed her. With each step he took closer to her, her heart thumped even louder within her chest , it felt like painful waves thrashing up against the walls of her chest. The silver rings around her blue eyes had gleamed more than normal.
At first he could see only shifting shadows, but they soon turned unto shapes of bodies- people bending over in the trunk, looking at him. And then, as if the lens of a camera had sharpened its focus, the faces cleared. They were all humans, all of them-some young, some older, different genders.
Someone, a rather bulky guy with long blonde hair, reached in and grabbed for the boy's ankle; dragging him out the trunk. At that moment, he kicked at the man, but the more he tried the more he was dragged out the car until he was thrown out. 'Welcome home, Greenie.' Was all the brawny guy had to say before the boy was squirming away on his hands and feet, sucking in breaths of air as he ran away at full speed. The soles of his boots patted hard against the dirt. His breath came gasping out into a wheeze, but he dared not slow down. He wondered why his ability hadn't kicked in by now. What did these people do to me? He could only ponder at the thought. 'We got a runner!' He heard someone shout from behind him. His legs were working smoothly; mechanically, moving him away from his kidnappers until he tripped over his own two feet and came tumbling down.
He was at least a good twenty feet away; crawling back on his feet until someone yanked him up by his shirt. 'Phew, good runnin' you had there Greenie? Best not do that again. Could've blown your brains out with this here rifle.' And off the man went; dragging the boy with him back to where he'd came.
Eric Dodge
Eric had the nastiest scowl on his face anyone had ever seen, he walked up until he was right in front of her then held his arm out and roughly dropped a paper bag in front of her. "Dinner for the monster." He growled and turned, walking away and locking the door behind him, wanting to have as little contact as possible with those machines.
Krystal Joice
Krystal watched curiously, amazed at the boys courage to try and run away, didn't he know what kind of situation he was in?
The boy was dragged until he was brought into an old warehouse; storage unit was a better word for the place. It looked four or five stories high and about to fall down at any moment- there were light if not no lights from above as if light, if any way possible, was relied on the sun, the windows seemed to be nailed in by wood, papers were scattered on a table in the center of them room. There were hardly any furniture around which made him realize that this room had most often been used for conferences.
The man holding him finally threw him down on the cold floor. "Go find Eric," he heard him say to a blonde girl nearby. "Tell him to bring the girl." Girl? What girl? He thought as he was just about to jump on his feet and make a run for it again, but the man kneeled over him. Up close, the man was even more frightening than from a distance with unsettling, blue eyes, long blonde hair matted across his face from sweat, and his stubble planted around his chin. So, he started as he stared at the boy. "What's ya' name, Greenie?"
'My name is Griffin,' he thought.
That...that was the only thing he could remember.
Azalea was startled by the sudden sneer from the boy. "Dinner for the monster." he said before throwing down a brown lunch bag towards her way, turned on one heel, and walked back out the door. She stood there silent in the darkness again until she heard the sound of keys dangling and the door being once again locked. Without hesitation, she sprung up and began finding her way out; her hands trailing along the walls until she found a window. From that point she began banging on it with her fists. One. Two. Three. Each bang came with an inaudible "help."
Eric Dodge
Eric was growing annoyed and he slammed the door open. "Shut UP!" He shouted at the girl.
Krystal Joice
Krystal followed after them secretly, listening in on the door and hiding when the woman went to find Eric.
Griffin hadn't responded to the man. He only darted his eyes in every direction; even onto the girl hidden behind a wall. He stared for how knew how long until finally the man he soon forgot was in front of him snapped him back to reality, "Greenie? Cat's got ya' tongue?" Then, he stood up and shouted out; his voice bouncing off the walls. "Dodge? What's the hold up?"
Shut up! The door swung open almost immediately and it's knob had hit the wall with a loud bang. Azalea slowly pressed turned her body around and slid her back down against the wall until she sat on the cold, hard floor; her lips pressed together as she stared back at the boy. Only this time she was glaring. Strangely enough, she wasn't scared anymore, but ...anger? She wanted so badly to use her one of her abilities. Get her out of this place. Kill this boy and anyone else who were behind this. At least that's what she was intended to do as one of WICKED's creations. Executing humans seemed to bring pleasure as a Gladder. However, she appeared weak in this environment. What did they do to her? the beeter question would be, what are they going to do with her?
Eric Dodge
Eric sighed and grabbed the girl by her hair and began dragging her out. "Come on." He growled and dragged her into the room.
Krystal Joice
Krystal found herself staring back then hiding when Eric came through with the girl.
He felt the weight of the world fall at his shoulders when he caught sight of the girl being dragged by her hair. He knew that girl. He felt himself wanting to shout her name. Make the guy who dragged her across the room suffer. But he only sat their; silent as he watched Azalea's body being thrown across the room beside him.
"Dodge? What's the hold up?" She heard someone say from outside. At that the boy came close and snatched up a fist of Azalea's hair. She yelped, squirmed, squatted at the boy's hand, but nothing made him realize his grip; if not made things worse. He dragged her all the way into a whole different room until she was thrown from his hold.
Eric Dodge
Eric threw her in the room and leaned against the wall, clear hate showing in his eyes as he glared at the two.
Krystal Joice
Krystal watched curiously.
Griffin couldn't keep his eyes away from Azalea on the floor. Her head was sunken in her arm as she softly cried to herself. "Well, Well, Well," the man chanted as he dragged out a chair from under the table, whirled it around, and sat in front of both Griffin and Azalea. He looked between the two; a taunting smirk planted just across his face."We have two Gladers amongst us. I think we should start this whole charade by first having you two maggots tell us your names." Griffin only stared at the man; aware that he was gritting his teeth. He felt Azalea leaning in closer towards him; shivering like no other. Griffin could tell she was scared; petrified would be the word to describe how she felt, and the more Griffin thought about it the more she had to ignore a strong impulse of wanting to break this man's jaw and everyone in the room who stared at them and did nothing.
F-fuck you," he spat out still gritting his teeth. At that, the man stood burst from his seat; sending his chair across the room and pulled out a silver pistol from his jacket. "You must be askin' for a death wish, Greenie. Aren't cha'?" he said as he rested the cold object to Griffin's forehead making a wicked grin spread across his face. "You wouldn't dare," he challenged.
Azalea scooted beside Griffin at the same time a man with blonde hair slid a chair in front of her and Griffin and sat on it backwards. "Well, well, well," his voice was both taunting and raspy. Azalea hated it. "We have two Gladers amongst us. I think we should start this whole charade by first having you two maggots tell us your names." he said. Azalea felt Griffin tense up beside her.
F-fuck you," he bellowed. That must've made the man infuriated becuase he burst out from his seat; knocking his chair to the ground, and approached Griffin with a silver pistol in his hands. "You must be askin' for a death wish, Greenie. Aren't cha'?" he pressed the gun between Griffin's eyes.
"You wouldn't dare," Griffin mused.
Eric Dodge
Eric watched the scene indifferently. He didn't care if the man blew the Glader's brains out, or whatever was in that disgusting head of his. In fact, that's what he thought all the Gladers deserved. Death. The fiery pits of hell. He glanced over at the girl, cowering and crying in fear, pathetic. However... he felt something... unpleasant in his heart as he watched her.
Krystal Joice
Krystal's eyes widened. She knew that man, and he sure as hell would follow up on his threat. "Hold it Haynes." She said in as strong a voice as she could as she came out of her hiding spot and stepped between the man and the glader. "I highly doubt you were ordered to go through all this trouble of bringing them here just to kill them."
Griffin watched in pure satisfaction when the man who seemed hesitant under his contempt; he was just about to respond when the girl Griffin had seen earlier came out from her hiding place and positioned herself between the two. "Hold it, Kyle." she said defiantly. "I highly doubt you were ordered to go through all this trouble of bringing them here just to kill them." Griffin could only stand back and stare in awe at the girl. Up close, she was really pretty. Beautiful even with hair the color of dirt; skin as creamy and pale that seemed to glow right before his eyes; a figure tall, yet was graceful and lean as he had ever seen. She was truly gorgeous.
The man- Kyle only took a minute before he accepted the girl's words, and raised his hands in surrender; taking a few steps back. "Alright, alright." Then, with a swipe of his pistol; it struck across Azalea's head sending her frail body back down to the ground. Griffin watched in horror as he seen blood start to ooze it's way across the floor, and the soft whimpering coming from her lips. Automatically, a wave of anger hit Griffin, but before he could pound on the man; another man he had never seen before stepped out from the hallway. He was a tall, aging man; however, under the black jacket he could tell he was a well-built man. Possibly the leader of everyone in the room. "Cool it, O'Shea." He said; his voice a mixture of serenity and direction. "They're here to be questioned; not slaughtered bits by bits," his eyes darted from Azalea then to Griffin. "We'll save that for later." Then, he let out a loud whistle. "Dodge. Take the girl to your room; get that wound of hers cleaned up and put her to bed. Joice you take this here fellow. We'll start questioning tomorrow morning. O'Shea you come with me; we have things to discuss," he looked at others around the room who weren't mentioned. "As for the rest of you, lock the doors; keep everything secured shut. Can't have any other Gladers near us, now can we?" At that he left with Kyle trailing behind.
Azalea was taken by surprise when a girl stepped between both the blonde guy and Griffin. "Alright, alright." the blonde guy chanted before the butt of his pistol collide onto the side of Azalea's head. She didn't have to know that the guy left a huge gash right above her left ear; she felt it. The pain was inevitable, and hurt like hell that whatever conservation was going around the room; it was all blank. She couldn't hear a thing. The only thing she remember was when another man stepped into the room and asked for Azalea to be cleaned up and put to bed.
That was it.
Eric Dodge
Eric's eyes widened then narrowed as Krystal barged in and stopped Kyle from killing the damned Glader. "Krystal..." He growled under his breath. He was hoping he'd get to see the boy's brains splayed across the floor. He'd never gotten along with Krystal, she was too... optimistic. She didn't see the dangers of the world for what they were. But then Kyle knocked the girl Glader out with the butt of his pistol and for some reason that made him even angrier. He was just about to punch the bastard out when Jeb came in and stopped the whole thing. When Jeb ordered him to take the girl to his room and help her, his hatred for the Gladers came back and he tried to protest but Jeb was gone with Kyle before he could.
Krystal Joice
Krystal stared after Jeb in confusion and surprise. She was never picked to do anything important and here she was, given the responsibility of taking care of a prisoner. It made her kinda excited but she didn't let that take her guard down. She glanced over at Eric, knowing he was angry at her but it didn't concern her much, she did what she felt was right, she knelt down beside the male Glader and held a hand out to help him up. "Come on, let's get you to a bed huh?" She said kindly.
Griffin didn't take the girl's hand when she offered it out to him. He didn't need her help let alone want it. These bastards were the one's that brought him here; he clearly doesn't need their help with anything. "I'll see you in the morning. It's going to be alright, I promise." He whispered in Azalea's ear before he followed the girl out the hallway and into a room. "You didn't have to do that," he muttered under his breath as he plopped himself down onto what seemed to be her bed. "I don't need your help with anything."
Azalea was just about to follow the boy out to the hall when she was suddenly pulled to the side by Griffin. "I'll see you in the morning," he whispered. "It's going to be alright, I promise." At that he was following the girl to her room, leaving Azalea alone with the boy that once shouted at her. She couldn't stand him, and a little part of her hoped that everything was going to be alright. He did promise.
Eric Dodge
Eric glared after Krystal and the male Glader. Hating that she was so nice to the monsters. He then quickly snapped his glare to the girl. He gave her a death glare for probably 5 minutes before he jerked his head in the direction down the hall. "Follow me." He muttered leading her to his room.
Krystal Joice
Krystal didn't seem bothered by the fact that the boy didn't want her help and she led him to her room. When she got there she sat down in a chair while the boy took the bed. When he said 'you didn't have to do that' she looked at him confused. "Didn't have to do what?" She asked, genuinely curious as to what he meant.
"Didn't have to do what?" she perked up. Griffin wondered why she was being so nice and not as blunt as the others were. Even though she is clearly one of them; she seemed almost different as if she didn't like what she does to Griffin's kind, as if she knew that the Glader's were just like the rest of the humans in the world except they're humans lost under the control of Wicked, as if she knew in the outside they may seem like robotic monsters, but in the inside there is a soul screaming to be let free.
It was weird, but yet appealing in other terms. Griffin hadn't known how long he had been staring at the girl until he quickly turned his gaze elsewhere. "You could've let me die. Now you're just going to be hated by your peers because of what you did."
"Follow me." The boy muttered without meeting her gaze. Azalea stood and immediately had to catch herself on a nearby wall. The pain in her head was completely inevitable; it pulsed and left a major migraine just at the side of her head. She covered her hand over the part that hurt worse, and felt blood all around. With each step; she followed behind the boy she let him led her to his room while she leaned across the walls as she went. After a few more corner turns and stairs, they were finally there. Inside, the room was small and brightly lit. The walls were a gray color with nothing but a window and a clock ticking loudly above a brass bed that was pushed far up against the wall in the upper right corner; a swivel chair set off in the left corner, and a dresser right across from it.
Azalea stumbled into the room and plopped herself in the sofa as she rubbed at her temple.
Eric Dodge
Eric watched her out of the corner of his eye the whole way to make sure she didn't get left behind and when they got there he disappeared into the closet and returned with a first aid kit. He came back and looked at her with that same angry glare as he muttered. "Show me the wound."
Krystal Joice
Krystal stared at him right back, not feeling uncomfortable, just wondering why he was staring at her for so long. When he finally looked away and spoke she looked at him for a moment then started laughing like he'd just said a funny joke, a soft, tinkling laugh. "You don't need to worry about that. I'm already hated by my peers." She said, smiling, as if she hadn't just admitted her total lonesomeness in the world. "Besides, there's no way I could just stand by and watch another person die when I could help."
Griffin sat frozen in his place as the girl burst out into hysterics. He didn't know why she was suddenly was laughing, had he said soemthing funny? "You don't need to worry about that. I'm already hated by my peers." she said to him with the friendliest smile on her face it made Griffin shift uncomfortably in his seat. "Besides, there's no way I could just stand by and watch another person die when I could help." "I'm not just any person." he told he her; his voice as stern as ever. "What was that word your kind had called me? A monster?"
He hopped off of the bed and moved over to look out the window. There was nothing on the other side, nothing but a brick wall blocking out any sight of the outside world. "Who am I?" he asked the girl, but mainly he was asking himself as he stared absentmindedly out the window. It was always a question he's been meaning to ask himself, but never exactly had the chance to.
Azalea could make out the boy's footsteps as he walked out the room heard him rummaging through something until he finally returned. She glanced to see that he had a first aid kit in his hands, "Show me the wound." he muttered; glaring for the sixth time since she's been here.
"No," Azalea said flatly as she pulled her legs up closer to her chest and away from him. "Get away from me." It wasn't that she hated the guy, but after what the others did to her; bringing her hear and torturing her, he wasn't her favorite person either. Infact, he made her sick and ever so infuriated in all the wrong places that her pulsing in her head came back. She tried to press a hand over the wound to ease the pressure, but it did very little help.

(case-sensitive, as usual) — this can be followed with /take Item Name
to retrieve the item into the current character's inventory.
Mobs
Give your Universe life by adding a Mob, which are auto-replenishing NPCs your players can interact with. Useful for some quick hack-and-slash fun!
Mobs can be automated spawns, like rats and bats, or full-on NPCs complete with conversation menus. Use them to enhance your player experience!
