Well, Jordyn may not have understood that message Hannah was trying to bring across, but the end result was the same. The girl nodded as it she was asked the same thing- Or did Jordyn get it after all? Anyway, Hannah gladly accepted the invitation, smiling widely as she found herself being guided to the cafeteria.
Mission friendship: Accomplished. Or, well, they weren't friends yet, obviously, but Hannah could only think one step at a time with things like this. Because, maybe they were friends! They were, right? Friends eat lunch together, share a room together- Okay that last one was just purely random as far as assigning dorms go, but the point remained.
Today was a good enough day. She hadn't managed to cross paths with lady luck's bad side, yet. Well, there was that bit with the books going haywire and that jazz, but that seemed to resolve itself rather quickly. Who could've cause it anyway? Powers were varied, and Hannah wondered if someone could command books to do... stuff.
Shrugging lightly, Hannah continued walking with Jordyn to the cafeteria. On arrival, she didn't hesitate to drop her luggage on one of the tables to 'reserve' it for herself and Jordyn.
After browsing the possible meals, Hannah settled on a cheese & ham toast, along with an apple for them vitamin Cs and just plain water for a drink.
Seating herself on the 'reserved' table, the quiet girl began scribbling on a piece of paper she had ripped from her writing block, gently shoving it in Jordyn's direction as it read; Flying Books?
Hannah had grown curious about the reason for that, flesh-eating book attack. Not that they had done anything to her, apart from nibbling at her ankles, but it'd be nice to have something make sense in this dump.
