August Akiyama is a deceitful, foul creature. Frame standing tall at 5'7", his shape is rather idol-ish, complimented by curves in all the right places. With a narrow, albeit gentle eye shape and a pearly smile to go, he's able to lure in his victims quite easily. He keeps an innocent, "cute" demeanor around his classmates and acquaintances ― including the one he holds dearest ― two-faced thoughts taking up more of his mind than positive ones. The male uses a signature poster-girl smile and an alluring, smooth figure for pure seduction and reputation. You could blame it on his nature, or the simple fact that he betrays "mindless beings" for amusement.
Shifting from place to place is something Akiyama has grown painfully accustomed to. He has never stayed somewhere too long ― that is, until he set his sights on America. Said Country―well kept, though nothing compared to the many others he's resided in―is overall beautiful, as well as the citizens within it. His mother, when alive, had spent plenty of her life there, which is what finally interested the adolescent. She had attended the same school he enrolled himself in, and was quite well-known within the school walls for her "kill count." Wanting to keep up the reputation of his family name, he began to ― hesitantly ― attend Aurae; however, he allows himself to be seen as the kind, endearing figure that he's not.
Through this, August had met a peculiar little demon, who seemed all mid-classtime rooftop escapes and a fast-paced piano performance more than anything, if he were to put it into words. His true nature contradicts that of his race, and that's what the purple-headed male finds so captivating. Akiyama wants to learn more about Erim, and in return ― little by little, i might add ― he allows aforementioned "sex-fiend" to learn about the latter. In other words, Nikaido knows far more about the siren than anyone. They're close, in terms of endearment. The duo bicker, mostly due to August's taunting behavior towards the other, and opposing incubus' stubbornness; but, the illusive teen is able to look at his companion with absolute fondness.
To put it simply, Akiyama could tell his friend that he loves him, that he holds him close, that he truly does cherish him, and it would be the first truth he's told in years.
