Personality: Ayame is a young woman with a bleak outlook and low self-esteem. She appears secretive and aloof to most people but, isn't completely anti-social where she hates conversing with people altogether. She can actually get along well with others but, won't really regard them as anything more than acquaintances or people she knows. There are only a few people whom she considers as friends.
She does harbor secret feelings of jealousy and insecurity within her thus, feeling a little annoyed whenever she gets into an argument with someone who's more powerful and prominent than her. She can easily notice flaws within people, even among her friends but, isn't one to voice them out for decency's sake. She is also quick to adapt and read atmospheres, able to tell if her presence is appreciated or not.
Appearance: Ayame is a young girl with a small frame standing in at around 5'5". She has shoulder-length dark brown hair with pale blue eyes. She usually wears her uniform consisting of a white dress shirt with a navy vest and gray skirt. For casual wear, she wears a plain white shirt topped with a blue jacket, jeans and black flats. Due to bad eyesight, she wears corrective glasses.
History: Ayame didn't really have a lot of drama in her life. Her family was normal, and her past life in elementary didn't have incidents that can drastically change her outlook in life. As such, she grew up, believing that her only role in life is to be a background character for someone else's story. With that said, she stopped trying too hard and simply took life for what it is.
When she reached high school, she failed to enter the academy her parents chose for her and enrolled in Gerhilde instead, as a rebound plan. She didn't really know of Gerhilde's reputation back then so she was visibly surprised when it wasn't exactly the public school she imagined it to be. For one, most of the students seem to lack any form of restraint. With that, she decided it's better to avoid trouble by keeping minimum contact with the other students.
As time went by, she began to feel a little jealous of the people around her. Almost all of them have stories of their own to share that one may find exciting. In a way, she now sees them as side characters with their own stories to tell, unlike her who remained a part of the background. Not that she wants something bad to happen to her family but, she did wish that her life was a little more exciting and drama-filled, like the others around her. Eventually, she heard about the rumors. Rumors about the academy that is better kept as a secret. Some people say that weird things occur on a boy on a daily basis. Thinking that by entering into the case can she satisfy her need for a change of pace, she decided to observe how things will play out and what this rumor really is about.
"Now--how will this twisted comedy play out...?"
"Huh? I said don't do that!"

- She hates it when she gets pushed around by people who thinks they're better than her. This makes her harbor feelings of spite towards Alessa.
