She sat on the floor of her room, sorting through her things. She picked up her schedule and sighed; she had specifically requested pre-calc instead of algebra. She really would have to talk to someone about that...
Glancing toward the door, she wondered who her roommate would be; she hadnt seen anyone yet who wasnt with a friend or two, so she pretty much ignored them all. Not that she really wanted a roommate, anyway, but since she had to have one, she would certainly prefer someone who wasn't a popular, snobby bitch...

Ion walked past the only room that seemed to have someone inside. He backtracked his steps and knocked on the door to grab the person's attention. "Hello? Excuse me, but I think I am lost... I have no idea where I am going. Is this the right dorm?" He was holding all his stuff with one hand, and a piece of paper with some information in the other. "I can't read maps to save my life."

"oh, um, hi. Can someone, maybe help me find my room? I can't really seem to find it..." she smiled politely at the people. "I'm Nevaeh, but please call me Nev," she placed her large black bag on the floor. She had never really had much luck with people before, but she was trying to be nice. Maybe this would be the year she'd have a friend...or a crush...or a best friend. She just hope she had a nice roomie.
And she hoped she wouldn't be bullied this time.

She began walking down the halls not understanding the map. She heard voices and began walking towards them. She could see that they were talking and decided to but in. "Hello! I'm Krisi. What are we talking about?" she asked.

Ion turned and smiled. "Ahh, hello there. Nev was it?" Placing a glove on his hand, he extended it to shake hers. "Excuse me if that seems a bit odd. I am a vampire. Touching you directly gives me burns." Humming to himself, Ion looked around. "Perhaps you may remember your room number? Or the floor it is on? Otherwise I don't think I can help you..."

Aidan sighed as she got to the hall with her room, she kept walking and looking at the map before naturally jumping back. She looked up from her map and froze for half a second. The only thing her mind noticed was the cat ears and tail on a white haired girl. Her eyes went wide and she stuttered a bit. "C-c-cat!" She then took a quick look at her map, ran down the hall, and threw open her room's door. She quickly closed the door and sighed, letting go of her suitcase. She turned and looked around, seeing that she was alone. She smiled a bit and pulled her suitcase to the base her bed. She looked backwards towards the door and eventually sat down on the bed, hoping her roommate wasn't a cat. Or a dog for that matter. She was deathly afraid of both and hoped she survive school without being bothered by either.

Dante and Dallas walked onto campus together, arm in arm, both perfectly in-sync with the other though they couldn't be more different.
Dante was the fire: Brave, quick to anger, spirited; while Dallas the water: soothing, calm, healing. At the door way they parted ways because they only shared one hour. Dante headed left a smirk on her face and Dallas right, a small smile gracing her beautiful face.

"good, I thought you were germophobic for a sec. And I think it may have been...something with one at the beginning.but I don't know my room number. I'd probably know it if you said it," she said and shrugged, "and you're a vampire? Cool!" she spread her black wings out from her low-backed red and black dress, "I'm an angel, and will probably be labeled as 'the goth kid' pretty soon. Oh, well, I'm used to it," she smiled. She was normally shy and was practically forcing herself to do this. She'd turn into the shy kid pretty soon. But still, it was nice to know someone. Maybe they'd talk again sometime.
She then turned to the other girl who said something.
"oh, hi, I'm Nev," she said and smiled at the girl who was obviously part animal. "Neko?" she asked.

Cheri glanced up as someone knocked on the door, standing slowly. She stalked across the room and opened the door, hand on hip. There were two girls; one with black wings that could only be a demon's, and a petite, white-haired cat Neko. Cheri gave an involuntary growl, baring her fangs at the Neko.
Cats at this damn school, her internal voice muttered.
Rolling her sapphire eyes, she looked down the hallway, where a rat-girl was scurrying in the opposite direction, white hair flying out behind her.
What is this, take your pet to school day?
She turned toward the guy standing before her, who seemed relatively normal {or at least free of furry ears and a tail}, and raised an eyebrow.
'Anything you guys want, or is there just a party going on outside my dorm?' she asked coolly, leaning on the door.

Dallas hurried down the halls, looking left to right for her dorm but couldn’t for the life of her find it.
“Ugh, why do I ALWAYS get lost?” she muttered as she ran a hand through her hair.

"Hey." Mercy gives a small smile, taking a long drag. She turns her head and blows out the smoke and flicks the ashes, flicking the hair from her eyes.

(I don't know if the rooms are actually assigned or what so if this isn't the room you want her to be in, she can just be mistaken or lost.)

Cheri gave an angry growl as a girl approached and entered her room. Whirling around, she flicked her black-and-blue hair out of her face and crossed her arms.
'I'm fairly certain you are not Ion, child' she remarked, bending down to pick up the assigned-dorms sheet from where it lay on the floor and waving it at the girl.
'Now if you would all be so kind as to shoo... ' she called, lightly pushing the girl in her dorm out the door. 'That would be lovely'

"Hey" she said.
"hello" she said with a nod.
"I'm Dante, its good to know im not the only one around here with a bad habit" she said as she ran her fingers through her long hair and her dark eyes took in every detail of the new comer, not judging, just curious.
Dallas finally found her room with a sigh of relief. She was sharing with a girl named Krisi and hoped to god the girl was nice.

Her green eyes follow Dante's curiously -- they both seem to be inspecting each other. Mercy lets out a small laugh, "How come I've never seen you around before?"

"I cant understand why i havent seen YOU around, i mean, i usually find people like me pretty quick." Dante said, finishing her examination of Mercy. She was pretty, that was for sure, and she liked the girls personality so far.

She laughs, "I mostly spend time outside... More... in my other form." She refers to her wolf form, her eyes flickering an iris color as she finishes off her cigarette with a flick and stomping the rest with her shoe. She smells the vampire scent on her, but its evened out by a smell of demon.
"Interesting combination..." Mercy remarks under her breath, lighting another cigarette.

"interesting combination? Oh, you mean me. Ya, guess, i got the best of both worlds huh?" She said with a grin. She blew a smoke ring then dropped her own cigarette and smooshed it.
"Wolf girl huh? that's hot" She said a grin dancing on her full lips. She had never actually flirted with a girl before, but she would try anything once.
"Anywho, i was just about to take a walk, you feeling up to it loup femme?" Dante asked using the french word for wolf woman.

Carefully inching around a patch of sun in the corridor, he studied the map he had been given, the words and pictures making absolutely no sense to him. And he wasn't sure enough of his English skills to ask anyone where to go, without sounding like an idiot. Where to go? I really not sure now...Ah, right! Room 169, is it? Okay, let's go! he thought triumphantly as he finally got his brain to translate the words on the page. Finding his room, (after more wandering), he set his bag down on his bed, and started to unpack. "Hope room-mate is nice...", he muttered to himself as he put his clothes away.

"Goth kid? I am sorry, but I am not sure if I understand..." Ion pulled a little face and then shrugged, but soon replaced it with his usual genuine smile. "Anyway, if your room starts with a one, as you say, and you are in this building, then you most likely are upstairs." Rubbing his chin in thought, Ion continued. "I suppose I could help you. There are only about fifty rooms. One of them has to be yours, no?" He chuckled "Besides, I need to go into mine. I have yet to meet my room mate myself."
@Cheri
After Ion eventually managed to help the angel to her room, he said his goodbye and decided to go back to the room to crash. He hoped the room mate wasn't an angel, werewolf, or anything among the lines. Not because he disliked those people, but rather they would make his life more difficult. A simple touch from an angel could set him on fire, and a bite from an lycanthrope would leave scars and permanent damage. They might even kill him accidentally.
Opening the door to his room, his eyes came upon another girl. This girl seemed human, which was a bad sign from the start for Ion. None the less, Ion decided to greet his room mate with kindness. "Hello there. I am guessing that you would be the person I am sharing the room with." Ion offered his hand to shake. "My name is Ion. Vampire, originally from Romania, so please excuse me if I don't catch on to all the colloquial terms straight away." Ion decided that no matter what this girl was, he would try and be friends with her. Last thing he needed was the person he was sharing his room with to become his enemy.

“Coming or what?” she called before stepping far enough in that you could only see her shapely outline.
