Appearance
Holly does not see herself as beautiful at all; she feels that her body is a mangled mess of organs all stuck together by skin, bones, and muscle. Her mother has told her that she isn't pretty or attractive, but rather she has a striking and captivating appearance. She has a round face with grayish-blue eyes that are wide and turned down. With a very pale complexion, her skin seems to shine in the sun. Her long strands of auburn-red hair frame her otherwise unproportioned face.

Holly stands at 5'4, and considers herself to have the height of someone four years younger than her. Despite her shortness, her body seems to be lean and lanky. Her friends and family used to compare her to a twig. She's one of those people that no matter what she eats, she doesn't gain weight. She used to have a few scars around her knees, as well as a big one on her shoulder. She doesn't get hurt very often, but when she does, her injuries are usually catastrophic. She has a semi-deep voice that stays the same, even when she is angry.

Strengths
Regarding her powers, Holly firmly grasps the ideals of fire manipulation. She is clearly not the strongest, as she is still considered an amateur when it comes to controlling her newly discovered powers. Nevertheless, being a fast-learner and a girl of high intelligence, she can handle and to say the least, defend herself with her abilities. You can see that Holly has just obtained the power of fast healing, as her many scars have disappeared. She has also creatively figured out a way to shoot fireworks into the air using her abilities. She generally shoots the red balls of explosive flames into the air when she is trying to send some sort of distress signal.

Other than supernatural abilities, the red-haired girl has quite a few strengths in a multitude of places. Having to take up an almost matriarchal role at a young age, Holly is a natural when it comes to cooking, cleaning, and simple tasks around the house. Although she doesn't consider herself an artist, she is quite crafty and is able to create things with limited material. Having a desperate dream to become a journalist, Holly has always been strong in writing. You can see her leaving her thoughts and ideas inside a brown journal that she keeps handy with her.

Weaknesses
Perhaps Holly's biggest weakness is her inability to swim. Living in the city all of her life and sparsely traveling, Holly has only stepped foot on a beach twice, and has never gone swimming in a pool. She is fine in shallow waters, where she can touch the bottom, but she cannot dive into deep waves. Fortunately, she is not afraid of the ocean or water. Despite her fear of drowning, Holly is more than willing to learn how to swim if someone will teach her.

The phoenix Tamer is also allergic to bee and wasp stings. She has to be careful around the summertime, as insect stings dwelt upon her can trigger difficulty breathing, dizziness, and a drop in blood pressure. More than one sting on Holly can mean certain death. Her sense of selflessness can also be considered a weakness. Sometimes, she will throw herself into danger in order to protect others. This can be a curse, as well as a blessing. She's much more likely to become a martyr than someone who deserved a punishment.

Teleportation
Once belonging to her grandfather, Holly has attained an ancient wooden flute from her uncle. Passed down through the family for generations, the flute is able to not only transport the user to Earth, but it also has the power to teleport people to almost any destination in Waldria. To use it, four notes must be played. The four notes correspond with a coordinate in Waldria or Earth, and after five seconds, the user will find themselves in their required destination.

Personality
It's a challenge for others, as well as Holly herself to describe who she truly is. She doesn't seem to fit any specific stereotype, and cannot be categorized into one single group. One of her classmates described her as being a 'spare person', not really fulfilling any personality type. Those who care about her and know her to a much greater extent will regard her as a jack-of-all-trades, but a master of none.

Experiencing the darkness of life thoroughly throughout her childhood has made Holly quite down-to-earth, realistic, analytical, and extraordinarily hardworking. She's someone you can depend on when things need to be done. She is one to stop and think before acting, although she has jumped to do something before analyzing the situation quite often. While being creative, she is also simple and selfless, and does not like to draw attention to herself. Caring and kind, people have described her as being one of the nicest young women they have ever met. Some even say that she is wiser than her age. Regardless, she seems to be blind to the positive effects she can have on people.

Despite her practical approach to many situations, Holly does know how to let her hair down and isn't as serious as people think. She is a curious explorer at heart, and takes pride in trying new things. Being a phoenix Tamer, she is naturally courageous and daring. However, she is slightly different than most Tamers of the same Mythical, as she knows how to display dauntlessness without becoming reckless or prideful. She is loyal, and will protect those that mean the world to her. She is blatantly honest, and can be considered candid. She's a bad liar anyway, and so her philosophy is that the truth is much easier to deal with than a giant fib.

Disregarding her virtues, Holly does has a great amount of flaws. Her seriousness and single-mindedness make people believe that has no soul. She can seem cold and cynical at times. Although not typically shy, she enjoys being in the presence of only herself, and will make herself seem like a loner. She's not one to have an explosive temper, however, when she is provoked to anger, she'll usually have some sort of attitude problem around people. She is harshly critical of herself. Sometimes, she will blame herself for other people's wrongdoings. With much weight on her shoulders, she can become dark and gloomy at random times.

Exploring Waldria has brought a sudden change in Holly's personality. There is something inside of her that wants to be free; now that she is in a new world, she wants to be someone a little bit more different than who she feels she is. As she puts it, she wants to 'repave the roads she has already made'. Of course, she still wants to stay true to herself, but she desperately wants to reclaim the years of childhood that she missed out on. To Holly, Waldria is one place where she can learn to live life anew. For some reason, Waldris seems like more of a reality than Earth ever was.

History
Holly's complicated history has influenced the type of person she has become. To start, she had never known her father. He died before she was born. Her mother had told her at a young age that he had died during a shootout while he was a police officer. It was just Holly and her mom in a small apartment in Manchester, England. Life seemed to be fine until her mother's mom, Holly's grandmother, died suddenly due to pancreatic cancer. On top of that, the young girl's mother had experienced a back injury while working, and had to leave her job in order to recover. Becoming dependent on medication pills for her back fueled Mrs. Christianson's drug addiction, and the loss of her mother (the only family she had left) put her into serious depression. This had a tremendous effect on the rest of Holly's life.

After her recovery, Mrs. Christianson tried to go back to her old job, but unfortunately, she was unable to reclaim it. She started to take out her anger towards Holly, who was confused by all that was happening in her life. Elementary school wasn't easy for her. She was a simple target for bullies, due to the fact that she and her mother were sinking deeper and deeper into poverty. Holly tried as best as she could to make money. She delivered newspapers on Sundays, and on the weekdays after school, she would clean an old church for cheap money. Unfortunately, her efforts weren't enough to really help the financial situation. Holly and her mother found themselves living entirely on benefits and donations. They were so poor, that sometimes the water would stop running and the lights would flicker on and off in their apartment due to not paying the bills.

After Holly had graduated elementary school, she had to drop out of high school in order to save money. Mrs. Christianson fell deeper into depression, and eventually gave up on finding a new occupation altogether. Holly, determined to not lose hope, worked as many jobs as she possibly could, while also taking up the matriarchal role in the household. This was exhausting for her, and eventually, she slipped into depression herself. She found herself working three jobs at once. One of her bosses was especially critical towards her, and would beat her every time she did something wrong. As the color of life started to fade to black, Holly wondered why she had even been born, and heavily considered attempting suicide.

Her life seemed to change when she was sixteen. A fire had broken out at the bakery where she worked. Before she was about to catch on fire, something strange happened; as Holly moved her hand, the flames would move to the side, allowing her to pass through and navigate her way through the burning building. She saved her two coworkers and boss, and became recognized as a local and eventually national hero. As she grasped fame in the palm of her hands, it didn't take long until a strange black-bearded man knocked on the door of her apartment.

Holly's mother was hesitant to let the man through the door at first, but he eventually made his way into the apartment. He sat down, and revealed to Holly that he was her uncle, and the headmaster of a prestigious academy for gifted adolescents like her. He explained that there was another place called Waldria, and in that place, she was known as a phoenix Tamer. Holly discovered that both her uncle and mother were dragon Tamers, and her mother had actually lived in Waldria while Holly was still a baby. Angry with rage at the sight of her brother, Mrs. Christianson revealed to her daughter that her husband had not died in a shootout, but when a demon had invaded their home in the mountain regions of Waldria. She was able to escape with the infant Holly, and after the attack, left Waldria for good. She had never taken Holly to the dimension nor told her about her status for "her own safety". Furious at her mother, Holly agreed to stay with her uncle and join the academy where she would learn how to master her power of fire manipulation.

Now, Holly is staying with her uncle, Percival Graymane, at his cottage in the western forest regions of Waldria. As she has missed out on three years of schooling, she is trying as hard as she can to learn everything about the dimension and its civilization.
