Wes is a fairly muscular, and pretty cut man. He has short buzz cut hair cut, and quite a bit of stubble. Generally he wears a sleeveless black shirt, and black pants, and matching boots. But that's only when he's in the safety of his cabin. Most of the time he wears his high tech battle armor.
{O D D I T I E S}
Wes is a cyborg, he has most of his body replaced with cybernetics. This includes his arms, and legs below the knee, as well as his eyes. He has many enhancements to his body as well. He has implants on his lungs, and heart that allow him to breath most atmospheres. Implants on his liver, and kidneys that make him resistant to posions. And he also has implants on his vocal cords that allow him to speak alien languages that a human is unable to speak.

{Sarcastic | Cold | Distant | Ill Tempered}
Wes is a highly sarcastic man, and always has a smart ass comment up his non-existant sleeves. Despite this, he is rather cold, and distant. He almost exudes professionalism. He has a real 'seen it all, done it all' air to him. Which is probably right on the money. Though beneath his cold, emotionless exterior lies a emotionally broken man. Though he would never show this side of himself, and will rip your tongue out if you mention it.
Indeed, Wes secretly longs to go back to Earth, to be around other human beings. While he still wants this, he is more heistant about it now. This is mostly because he is a cyborg, the only human cyborg in existence. This makes him feel even more alone in the universe. And let us not forget the fact Earth is millions upon millions of lightyears away from him. So at this point he's just given up all hope of seeing Earth ever again, and he's accepted that now.
He has quite the temper as well. Despite his cold exterior, it doesn't take much to set him off. And when he's set off he becomes like a roided up pitbull, with cybernetic enhancements. He can be quite protective as well, and if you're lucky enough to be considered his friend there's nothing he wouldn't do to protect you. He'll go into a war zone naked if need be. He's also pretty kind when he wants to be. This is especially aparent when dealing with kids, his Achilles heel. He loves kids, and will stop whatever he's doing, even if it's a job, to help one.
So all-in-all Wes is a cool, calm, and collected individual who's just lost all hope in anything.

- Guns- Wes has an entire arsenal of advanced weaponry. His weapons include: a plasma pistol, assault rifle, shotgun, sniper rifle, and a grenade launcher.
- Cybernetics- Wes has many different tools in his arsenal thanks to his enhancements. For example his optical implants allow him to see much more than the human eye, such as energy signatures, infered, thermals, night vision, and even x-ray vision. He also has implants in his brain that gives him increased intelligence, reflexes, and the ability to literally hack with his mind. He also has two energy blades housed in each hand as weapons.
- Link Cable- He as a extendable link cable housed in his left arm that allows him to plug into machines, and computer systems, and take control, or hack them.
- Armor- Wes' armor is specially made for him to link up with his cybernetics.
- The Lone Star- His personal ship, a large heavy escort crusier.
- Combat- Wes is a master combatant, and well versed in many alien fighting styles.
- Cybernetics- Thanks to his cybernetics Wes is incredibly strong, and is able to lift several tons.
- Marksmanship- Wes is a excellent shot with nearly any weapon.
- Tracking- Whether it's a urban, or rural environment Wes is able to track any target.
- Pilot- He's a proficient pilot in his own right. Though this is mostly due to him linking his cybernetics to whatever he's piloting.
- Temper- His temper can get in the way of his better judgement.
- Trust- He has some trust issues, in that he doesn't trust anyone.
- Pessimistic- He's a pretty big pessimist.
- Cybernetics- Sure, being a badass cyborg super soldier is awesome, but it does have it's downsides. He can't really go near magnets, and well an EMP could kill him.
- Kids- He just loves the ankle biters, and it's a sure fire way to get his guard down.

Dallas, Texas
{H I S T O R Y}
Weston Carter was born to Jack, a police officer, and Bonnie, a nurse, in Dallas, Texas. He grew up a fairly normal, and decent childhood. He had many friends, got good grades in school, and was an avid football fan. But all of this is a moot point by now. He was eight years old when it happened, when he was abducted by the poachers. He was walking home from the bus stop after school one day when he just disappeared without a trace.
He was abducted by aliens known as the Spnia, tall, grey skinned beings with some of the most advanced technology out there. They transported him in one of their advanced Slipspace Starships. These special Starships are the only ships out there that is able to traverse the journey from the galactic community to Earth. And only a Spnia can operate one. They sedated Wes like they do to all their victims for transport.
When he came to he was being paraded like some sort of trophy. Several different species were treating him like some kind of show dog as they examined him. Poaching of Humans is illegal, so these sort of things go under the radar, and usually mercenaries are hired to ensure the safety of the buyers given the less than moral stature of the Spnia. They are notorious backstabbers.
One such mercenary was Jar'Taxt, a member of a mighty reptilan race, and a infamous mercenary in his own right. Jar'Taxt saw these dealings as disgusting, as it wasn't too long ago when his people, the Kobaians, were in a similar position Humans are in. They too were abducted as well. But Jar'Taxt need the money, and the pay was good.
But then he saw Wes. It was rather unusual for the Spnia to abduct someone so young such as Wes, and seeing the scared little boy just tugged at Jar'Taxt's heart strings. So once the deal made, and Wes was bought by his employer, Jar'taxt attacked his employers, and freed Wes. From then on Jar'Taxt raised Wes as his own, taught him the ways of his people, and how to be a mercenary like himself. During this time Jar'Taxt taught Wes how to hide the fact he's a human, by wearing his armor which masks any signs that he is human.
Throughout this time Wes never gave up hope of finding a way home. That was until he was fifthteen. There was a Starship accident while working a job. Wes barely survived, just barely. He lost his limbs, and took heavy damage to his organs. So Wes was outfitted with some of the latest cybernetics, all under the table of course. When he came to weeks later he was shocked to find that he was so extensively changed. This made him feel no longer human. So he left his hopes about returning home behind.
Sometime after that Jar'Taxt died during a rather dangerous job. But Wes somehow finished the job by himself, and thus his legend began to grow. Now, twenty-two years since he was abducted he has become a renouned mercenary known as 'Ironhide'. He is one of the most feared, and respected out there.
