Welcome to Corell, the capital city of Adacia! It is therefore the largest city, well known and admired for its market place. As a port city, goods may be acquired from all locations in the kingdom as well as being important in the big fish industry. Besides those qualities, you may find yourself drawn to Corell due to its beautiful scenery and the loveliest views of the sea in all of Adacia. The tallest and grandest building of Corell is, of course, The Marble Palace with its white marble stone walls. The castle was built on a row of cliffs facing the sea, displaying its power and beauty to all ships coming into the port. It is not the largest castle, but it also isn't one of the smaller ones. Inside, decorations consist of things from the sea, like conch shells and pearls. Within the boundaries of East Corell, normal humans wander the streets carrying out their business duties within The Market Place, the Port of Corell, and the pubs and restaurants. The market place is the grandest market, selling products and items from every location, with a large fountain with its symbolic statue of a siren. This symbolizes the sirens, selkies, and mermaids that reside in the murky waters along the banks of Corell's ocean. They are most commonly sighted at the Port of Corell which acts as the shipping grounds for the market place. West Corell acts as the correctional facility, consisting of the criminals, thieves, and the very poorest citizens. South Corell acts as the slums of the city, with poor people and far too many homeless children begging among the streets. This is a place that Corell likes to forget about and leave by itself to deal with its own problems. North Corell sits around and behind the castle, but below it on the flat plain instead of the rocky cliffs. The wealthy reside in the decadent mansions with their charming gardens. Here also a number of important buildings such as the Royal Library, the Royal Institution of Corell and the infamous Art Museum of Corell. Outside the City Walls, you will find a row of cliffs descending from the tallest peak of them, where the castle is located. It is a popular destination for people who come to bath or take in the breath taking of the sea. However, I would always suggest you are careful when close to the water. You never know what dangers you might face, from more than that form hungry sirens or vengeful mermaids. The Siren Beach is rather small, and is located on the West side of Corell. Most people tend to stay away from it, as it is as the name suggests, a place regularly visited by sirens. The North Beach lies beneath the castle, and it is known for its broad shore and very fine, almost even white, shimmering sand. The water is clear and clean, making it another well visited location of families. In several places, small pink flowers poke their petal-ed head out of the sand. However, when the moon shines they take on a strange silver glow. They are rumored to bring the one who picks them luck, if he or she has a pure heart. Close to the beach, several smaller birch woods are scattered, lighting up the area with their greenery. Somewhat separated from the North Beach, the Underwater Caverns are located. Known for housing great riches, things such as jewelry and big amounts of gold, very few humans have ever made it there. It is known to be the home of many underwater species, and therefor is seen as rather unfriendly to humans. Be careful when visiting them. They may have the capability to make you rich and famous, but if you take one wrong step, you might find yourself undone before you could even realize what happened.

" The princess?" He asked, miming and gesturing with his hands to try to make what he was saying obvious to us. I looked at him blankly feeling incredibly stupid she had always been pretty intelligent back home and now she just felt like a child.
Lucille smirked. She could hear the door creak close. Finally! She thought. She quietly opened the window, and jumped up, to get out. She fell out of the window, and scowled,
"Thorny roses! No wonder Mamma put these here!" She tumbled out of the rose bushes, covered in thorns.
"Oww!"
She whined, as she scraped off the prickly plants. She crawls farther away from the house.
"Time to leave a life of abuse, and enter a world of freedom!"
She smiles. She had lived all her life with her horrible abusive Mother.
Her father died right before she was born, and that made her think it was Lucille's fault, so she had hated her ever since. She even named her after the killer of her father. Now, Lucille was running away. She had planned it all out, she was going to live in the forest, and avoid all contact with anyone. She was going to feed off the berries, and sleep in the trees. She hadn't really decided on clothes yet. That was for later.
Floralia found herself being awoken by a simple servant, and, as he explained to her, she only became more confused as to why she was awakened. Finally, she pulled herself from her cozy bed and made her way with the servant to the main hall in the palace to meet with the foreign girls that had been explained to her only moments ago.

"Floralia, you need to come in now! There's a storm coming and things are not safe at night... Please come in... Your mother would have wanted you to come in." Floralia's father begged her to come into the palace as it was getting very late. The little girl of only three continued to throw her temper tantrum.
"I don't want to! I want to stay outside! Please! Mommy gave me a dolly and Mommy would have let me..." At this, her father picked her up angrily and carried her over to his horse so they could ride home from the fields. He was not going to have his child say anything about his wife and her mother. It was her fault she was gone and she was also all he had left of her and he wasn't about to allow her to ridiculously commit suicide at age three by staying out in the dark.
"Bad things happen to kids at night, so you will come in." He growled, throwing her onto his stallion as he jumped up himself. She was crying and screaming so much now that he couldn't understand anything she was saying. Little did he know that his little girl's favorite possession from her mother had been left behind, and that's what she was crying about.
After he got her to sleep that evening, he realized this treacherous error and immediately sent the royal guards out at the first light to look for it. However, it was never found and presumed missing forever due to the winds of the storms. Little Floralia only had one thing left of her mother besides her blood, a little locket that she placed on her neck that day and never took off from then on.

Floralia pointed to the doll and then to herself. "That. Was. Mine..." She whispered, calling a servant into the sitting area from outside, "Please fetch Sir Christopher. I must speak with him immediately!" She exclaimed, looking back to the women sitting before her. She felt tears slipping out of her eyes as she attempted to compose herself, but soon was completely crying and had to run out of the room. She missed her father more than anything and that doll was as much a reminder of him as it was of her mother.

Christopher quickly started making his way towards the throne room, as soon as he had gotten the message about the ladies. This did either sound fishy, or there really was nothing to worry about. He wasn't sure what he should think, though; only that the queens safety was first priority, and if she indeed was in danger (which was a possibility, but Christopher did somehow doubt two ladies would put the queen in danger), he would do everything to protect her. After all, the queen was all Christopher had left from... "No!" he snapped at himself, his voice echoing through the corridor. His eyes widened as he realized he had spoken aloud, and a few maids turned around to stare at him in surprise. Flushing inwardly, he carried on towards the throne room, muttering something to himself under his breath as the sounds of his footsteps echoed through the hallway. "I do not have time for this..."
He stepped into the throne room and glanced around, his eyes narrowed as he watched the queen and the ladies. Per automatic, he placed his hand on the hilt of his sword and watched them wearily for a moment, before clearing his throat. "Excuse me, ladies... but may I ask; what is going on? Why have you come here in the middle of the night; which does seem very suspicious- no offense," Christopher smiled apologetically as he stood at the queens side.
The man said some words that she didn't understand and she shook her head slowly, holding her hands up a little way, trying to show that she couldn't understand. He smiled and Elsebeth smiled nervously back, starting to think that maybe it wouldn't be terrible if she did stay, at any rate she wouldn't be able to run away very fast and they would get her. So she might as well try and talk to him.
