Welcome to Eldilia! It is a small and fairly unimportant little town at the edge of the great Kingdom Adacia. Even though it is so small and unknown, it is full of magic and mysteries. At day the town is a nice, peaceful and wonderful place. But don’t let that fool you. At night the creatures of darkness show themselves. The Castle of Eldilia is a slightly bigger structure than the other buildings of the town on top of the highest hill. From there you can view the whole town that spreads out beneath you. It is decorated within and has many of its detailing done in gold. On the outside it is rather simple, yet still elegant and refined. A rose garden is present and acts as a courtyard for the castle. It’s a perfect location for a moonlit walk or for a family picnic during the daytime. The river, which flows through Eldilia, connects with the lake that lies beneath the castle. The Town Square surrounds the castle and markets are held there weekly, along with any holiday festivities throughout the year. This is also the place to find many of the inns and foreign people from other towns. Love is sometimes rumored to begin around the magnificent fountain within the square and it features a statue of a white wolf in it. This is the symbol of Eldilia and is on the flags surrounding the city walls and the posts designating the town square. From the castle and the town square, the rest of the city within the town is split into the cardinal directions. North Eldilia is the nicest part of town where the higher classes live. The homes they live in are far larger and fancier than in the other divisions. For the most part, only wealthy, witch-hunting humans are found here. Witches tend to avoid it for the obvious reason. South Eldilia is filled with the middle class citizens, the non-witch-hunting humans, and the less powerful witches that are able to hide and seem as if they are regular, normal humans. The houses here are somewhat fancy and rather small, being for the more common folk. Here also most things such as doctors, infirmaries, inns, and other stores in that direction are located .West Eldilia is where the slums of the city are located. While being the most mysterious edge of Eldilia, it is also the most dangerous and sinister one. Being the most poverty stricken part of town, where people live in awfully bad conditions, it is filled with dangers such as criminals and illnesses. However, that is not all. It is also known for having people (especially children) suddenly disappear, notably during night time. No one knows how they vanish or where they possibly end up, but there are rumors about witches going around town. In fact, it has gone so far now; even random women are accused for witchcraft, resulting in them being burned on stakes. Even if there actually are witches, and many of them are not innocent, they are usually too powerful and intelligent to be caught by humans. It is not those who are executed. East Eldilia mostly consists of The House of Law, The Prison, and several middle class houses. The House of Law is where justice is dealt and dooms are felled. The same house is used for punishment of criminals. For obvious reasons, people have a tendency to keep away from it. Outside the Town Walls there are mostly fields and a little forest located. Here and there a few farms and houses are scattered, and it is not unusual for witches to root themselves here, as they this way have the possibility of living secluded from those bothersome humans. There is also a lake located nearby, richly filled with many different kinds of fish. One or another fishermen have makes a living by those. West of Eldilia, something reminiscent of grass clad hills rise from the ground. However, there are speculations of them being ancient graves. If you continue beyond those hills, there are rumors that you will find something called The Bone Garden. No human has ever made it there and returned alive, though, so there is no proof. Only the true wit
ches would be able to tell you about it. They called it the Garden of our dead Sisters and Sea of Victims Bones.
