Terrance Griswald's Story

[size=500]Chapter 1: A myth proven true[/size]

The walls felt like they were closing in on Terrance. His Gusta city cell was much more smaller than his cell in Shem. He had been convicted since he was around eight years old. He killed aholy man who claimed he was the hand of a god, one of the two gods he hated the most. He did not believe in the gods legends. Though, he was in love with the godess Cassidy SinClaire, even though she was just a myth. He was moved to Cimmeria because there was a legend that Loratoes was coming back, and that was where his teleportation magic would take him and his armies. There was word between the guards that Terrance was going to be set free and wander the land. He was happy, even though that me might not get free. He needed to keep up hope if he was going to live, and not commit suicide. He looked out of his cell window. It was hard to see out of the bars, but he saw the night sky. There was plenty of stars out. It was pretty outside, giving him the urge to rest his head on the pillow that was given to him and shut his eyes. And he did so.
Terrance woke up with a start. two large guards took him by the shoulders and dragged him to the armoury, They gave him normal clothes and a large saber like sword.
"Take this, take these gold coins, buy some food and water, and get out of Gusta." The bigger guard growled, handing him a hundred gold coins. Terrance smiled, loading the coins into a rucksack that was just like a back pakc, and strapped the sword around his waist. Walking down the steps of the prison, Terrance sniffed in the fresh air. It smelt better than he pictured it. He went out and bought a carrot and a full cantine, coasting him every gold coin. He thought about staying in the city and finding a woman, but they would kill him. He was in the market when he noticed a woman, as beatiful as fire. (A female should jump in here)

Verza paced back and forth in his throne room in the heavens. he looked around at all his commanding generals, they were all fire elementals, humanoids, elves and humans made of a red and orange fire like energy. Verza looked into their glowing faces. "My dear friends, sons, daughters. Loratoes is coming back, ready the Phoenix's." Verza said, that was a code for be ready to prepare at any moment.

Verza was in his mortal form at thhyat time. As his minnions departed all mummering amongst themselves Verza also slipped out. as verza exited he began to get taller, much taller, his legs began to change, he leand forward and walked on all fours, his arms changed as well, into huge muscular legs, his skin turned to scales, the shape of his head and face changed, and wings sprouted from his back. Whe Verza was finally at the edge of the heavean he had copmpletly changed into a huge crimson dragon.



Verza looked over the edge of the heavens to Adelta. He roared once into the air and then he leaped. He tucked his wings to his sides and let himself enter a steep and brake neck fast dive towards the barren dessert bellow. A couple hundred feet above the ground Verza spread his wings and slowed his desent. He then began to fly with ease. He flew towards the temple his worshippers had built for him. It was huge, bi enough to house him in his god form. Verza spotted it after a couple minutes of flight. He flew to it and landed inside of it through a hole in the roof that was made ofr him. Vewrza saw that his preists were there. he looked at everyone of them in white robes, and then to the one in crimson, like his scales. Verza blew some flames out of his nostrils. "My dear children. Brace yourselves for the dark lord is coming." Is all he said before he roared into the air then again took off. this time towards a city. Gusta, a city he and the other gods had created for their worshippers to dwell. Verza soon spotted the city, he would land on the mountain by the city, it would alert the Lord to send a communicator so he could send him a message, he had done so before. Verza landed on the mountain and he blew a gout of flame out over the edge to let everyone know he was there.

In the middle of the table, against the woven cloths upon the wall, there was a chair under a canopy, and there sat a lady fair to look upon, and so like was she in form of womanhood to Elrond that one would have guessed that she was one of his close kindred. Young she was and yet not so. The braids of her dark hair were touched by no frost, her white arms and clear face were flawless and smooth, and the light of stars was in her bright eyes, grey as a cloudless night; yet queenly she looked, and thought and knowledge were in her glance, as of one who has known many things that the years bring. She stood up and walked around the land. She came the marketplace and smiled she oftwn shopped for the poor and then would go and give them food and water and chat for awhile. She wore a white royal gown, white high heels, white silver diamond encrusted crystal crown around her head, she bore the pointy elven ears and dark black hair that completly her fair flawless skin and she sung a beautiful elven sung as she wondered about the market place buying fresh food and water for the poorer parts of the city food and water. Her fulllips were set into a smile and her grey eyes held sadness and bore knowledge. She walked poise, grace, and respect. Her strides long and graceful making her walk seem more like a graceful dance then anything.

Terrance was about to talk to the woman, but he noticed the two guards at the prison door looking at him, hands on their swords. Terrance had his eyes locked on the girl, walking all the way to the doors to exit the city, taking his eyes off of her only because he had to. He walked out of the village gates and notices an army of orcs, all hidden in the edge of the forest, but two orcs that looked like they were higher in the army, they were just talking.

Asher kept walking and walking. He had been traveling in unknown land for days now, and his food supply was getting low. "Damn... Where is a city or a village or anything when I need it?" Asher thought out loud. Throughout his travels, Asher had kept on passing villages that were probably 1 day away. When he need to get to the village, Asher had to walk for 3 more days to get to civilization.

"Just my luck..." Asher had found another village at last. He adjusted his robe and hid both his weapons. You never know when you would get in trouble because you revealed that you had a weapon... Asher remembered. He learned it the hard way. He passed a fair woman, and "fair" would be an understatement. The woman was absolutely beautiful, and words cannot describe how she looked and how she moved. Asher nearly embaressed himself by whistling at her, but he knew better.

Asher had gotten to the gates, but his mind was somewhere else. He was reminesing about when he was young. "The Good Days" Asher called that period in his life. It was true, really. He lived without care in the world. He already had a person he had loved. He had gotten a good family and caring neighbors. Who wouldn't want a life like that? But then a tyrant came to his land and burned down Asher's home. He managed to escape by squeezing inbetween the bars of his cell and running away while the guards were on break. Then came the old ma- "Ooof!"

Asher had bumped into a man in armor and had a sword. "Uh... Sorry mister..." Asher said, nervously. He wasn't very socially experienced, being in isolation with one person or no people for 7 years. The only experience Asher had was talking and bargaining with merchants and the like.

Arwen noticed the man and the guards and finished buying the food. She walked towards the man following him to forest she noticed the orcs and the man. She put her hand on her sword and she smiled.

Terrance saw the girl from before walk over to him. Her smile swept him away, just as radiant as the sun. He knew that an attack was being planned, but did not know what was going on. All of a sudden, he heard someone yell the word "Archers!" And then it happened. The forest lit on fire. Terrance looked up on the castle walls to see human archers with fire arrows. He noticed the guards from before. They had bows and they noticed him as well. The big one started to fire at him, but Terrance jumped out of the way. Before it, there was an axe hurling at the girl. |terrance umped to the left, tackilng the girl to the ground. He looked at the man who was about to enter the city and told him with his eyes he might have to fight today.

Verza snarled and he bit down on Loratoes' hand. "You should know not to put your fingers into the mouth of a beast." Verza said as he tasted the blood from Loratoes' hands.

Venix Sat in the back of the Orcish ranks, his sword and shield readied. He looke ahead and an orc behind him gave him some sort of order that sounded like "garge!" Venix shrugged and assumed it meant "Charge!" So Venix followed, but as he went forward he looked up and saw him, again. It was Verza. Fighting... "Loratoes..." Venix said his thought aloud. now that he knew Loratoes was back, there was no use fighting for his creatures, not matter how much they paid him, there was no way he was fighting for the vial Death god. Venix automattically broke rank and ran over to a couple other people. Another human male, and a Elfish looking woman. "Looks like you two could use some help." Venix said.

Venix looked at the half elf woman, she looked so... regal. What was she doing here? Venix wiped the thought from hios mind and he felt an arrow hit him, lucky for hi it hit his chest where he was heavily armoured and it bounced off an landed in the grass. That got Venix's attention, he brought his sword into ready postion and his shield aswell. There wer two orcs charging him. He did the same, running at them as fast as he could in his heavy armour. The first orc went for a slash, Venix bashed him in the head while he was open, to distract him for a bit while his ears rang. Then Veni wento the other other one, he blocked a slash with his shield, then he smashed the orcs hand with the shield making him drop his weapon then the orc fled back to the main group to get another weapon. Vednix turned back to the other orc, still with ahjead ache. He was on the ground on his knee's searching for his sword, the shield bash must have temporaily made him blind. Venix toolk the chance and he slashed at the creatures neck taking off it's head.

Getting up, Terrnace quickly took his sword out. It was a large saber. It was not as good as good as other sabers, because it was human crafted, not elfen crafted. The city gates forced its way open, and hundreds of soldiers charged at the army of orcs. He may not have known who the elf looking girl was, but he would not let her die.
"Any guy who has guts, follow me." He yelled, charging into the horde, lunging his sabre foreward, thrusting his sword deep into an orc. Loratoes smirked, his lightning formed into a blade, of lightning.
"Well then, come at me, sister." The demon god laughed.

Arwean took out her bow. It was her main weapon she was always a expert bowman and swordsman. Ever sense she was a child she did not even need lessons to use it. It was just natural. She jumped took a dead orcs shield and tossed it on the ground infront of her where a flight of stairs. She jumped on the shield and slid down the stairs using her bow and arrows to shoot many a orc in the head. She had great aim which was apparent now. When she was about of steps to ride her shield on she jumped in the air doing a flip and shooting more orcs. When she was close enough to where the orcs were and long range could no longer be used she took out her sword and began to fight the orcs this way. She was also a expert in swordsmanship which was now apparent as ever.

Cassidy smirked "With pleasure" she cooed at her brother. She looked at the male who saved her life and smiled sweetly at him her body glowed a light white and it was obvious she was not human but her ears werent pointed meaning she wasnt of elven breed. Her eyes thanking him for the deed. And then she launched at her brother her sword in her hand rearing to stop him at all costs.

The god laughed, sinking his bolt sword into her chest, knowing it would not kill her. He took he by the neck and spun around, then tossed her into the ground.
Terrance let go of his weapon and punched a near by orc, catching his sword as the dead orc fell to the ground. The sword slid slowly out of the orc.

Arwean watched as arrows hit orcs from a unknown location. The arrows whizzed by her head not harming her and began to hit down the orcs a ways from her. She watched the scene only one thought crossing her mind: "Nice Shot." But she couldnt focus on the the bowman no. She had a fight to win. She turned sharply around her sword in her hand as she used her sword to cut down the orcs one by one. She charged at a orc, it took the advantage of her rapid movements to take her sword and chuck it a way away from her. She looked at him her lip curled back in a snarl her almond cat grey eyes narrowed in anger and frustration as she dodged the swings of his sword. She heard a orc charging to attack her from behind and decided to use it to her advantage she dodged his swings listening to the other orcs footsteps waiting for the perfect time to make her move. Moving to soon would only kill her. She had to listen to wait. "Now" She thought as the footsteps began to thunder out loudly. She jumped on the orcs sword and jumped into the air shifting her weight to the side dramtically to make her in a sort of laying down way and began spinning to dodge the arrows of the orc bowman. They always had such lousy aim. It was fantastic. The charging orc and the orc who chucked her sword away ended up ramming there swords into eachother killing them both instantly. She landed on the muddy ground with a thump and winced slidding across the mud from the force of her actions and took out her bow and arrow piercing the orcs in there major organs. Killing many. She went to grab her sword as she stopped slidding but only to groan in pain realizing she dislocated her shoulder when she landed and sighed. She sat up and looked around the battle field sitting up. Only one Orc remained. She saw 3 arrows whizz and shot her heart, lung, and Orc's eye. She sighed in relief and laughed a bit at there winning the battle but then she closed her eyes and began praying for the orcs and soldiers deaths. ""I see you, my brother, and thank you. Life is borrowed and now you have given it back to Ewya. Your spirit belongs to Ewya but your body remains so that I may take it to nourish the Na'Vi people. " She nodded at the orcs as she prayed for them blessing there spirits and giving her respect for there warrior capabilities. As she finished her prayer she began to scan the area for who had shot the arrows down. She stood up from where she was on the ground holding her right arm as she walked to where the surviving soldiers were smiling but every so often continuing to look for the bowman who shot down the orcs. Her nice white dress was now brown with mud and her hair was also a bit muddy. Unlike most royality she seemed overjoyed at the mud that clung to her. She smiled, laughed and cheered with the rest of the soldiers at there victory in battle.

Terrance dropped his sword and looked at the growing horde. He knew he should just give up. There was no point on fighting anymore. He knew that he would have to go back to a prison if he gave up, but that was life. You finall get freedome, just to go back to the pisser. He dropped to his knees, as did Loratoes. A group of five orcs circled around Terrance, laughing at how pathetic he was being. If it weren't for his anger that these scum bags seemed satisfied about their kill, he would not have gotten up and killed them. He took his saber and jumped up. The laughing orcs perked up, not noticing the man jumping up. He lunged foreward, sinking his blade into the orc to his left and with speed he stabbed through the neck of the orc to the right. The saber waas pulled out of the now dead orc, as Terrance zipped around, stabbing right into the fourht orc, looking at the others with a face that told them he was not afraid to kill them. They dropped their weapons and ran for the hills.

As Asher leaned against the gate, a woman with both human features and elven features came up to him." Thank you for helping me fight sir." She said as she bowed in respect for him. "I am sorry for the loss of your men. It was a honor to fight by your side."

The woman was, in the simplest terms, stunning and beautiful. Asher didn't know how to react, so he said nothing. Although he did mutter "I am a reelancer that happened to walk into a battle. They are not my men."

The half-elf then turned and walked away to meet the man Asher saw before, the one who had warned Asher that enemies were coming. The two talked a little, bowed, and the woman went off again, this time to talk to the rest of the warriors who were out in battle. Asher walked up to the man who warned him earlier and said to him "Thanks for the heads up on the attack... What is your name?" Asher hesitated for a split second, then asked "And might I add, who was that half-elf woman?"

Terrance opened his eyes. All he remembered was a bright light and boom, he woke up in a wooden bed with a hand woven blanket. He opened his eyes to speak, but found nothing to say. He got out of the bed, falling instantly as he stood up. With a thud, he landed on his knees. Terrance did not remember anything at all. He grabbed the wooden night table beside him and stood up. Slowly, he made his way to the window. He noticed he was looking at a large city. Many kids were outside playing, and adults laughing and watching them.

Terrance found his way to the stairs, and slipped his way down them. Standing back up with ease now. He opened the door and found his way still in Gusta city. "I need to find that girl again."

Arwen nodded at Legolas. "It was fun," She walked away bored of the convo as of now. She strolled down the city and saw the soldier from before(Asher) and the man from the market(Terrence)

Terrance noticed the girl again. He smiled and walked over to her. He wanted to say something to her, but really forgot who she was.
