Setting
The air was crisp and slightly chilled this morning. Not an unusual morning in the little town of Richview by any accounts. The normal 'morning rush' had already began in the center of town, as people walked back and forth to work, to school, to the store - where ever they had to be that morning.

Taking a long, slow sip from his coffee - David knew he had over done it, but it wasn't like it was his usual night out. It had been his 'moving in' party, he had the right to drink... then again he probably should have stopped once his new neighbors had left for the evening. His dark brown hair remained uncombed, he still hadn't even looked in a mirror today let alone attend to any grooming habits.
The ring of the stores front door bell would pull his attention as he looked up to see a couple walk in together. Both seemed rather distraught - the woman having clearly been crying recently, and while he couldn't be sure the mans eyes didn't look untouched either. The two walk up to the counter, the woman handing the barista a flyer.
" Could you please hang this up... I-Its a missing poster of our son... We haven't been able to find him in three days and the police aren't doing anything about it. " Says the woman, trying to hold back any new tears. " Please.. he's only fifteen, we have to find him! " The barista nodded, taking the flyer only to hang it up on a pin board behind the counter along with several other 'missing persons' flyers - all ranging over the past year.
David hadn't noticed the board before now, it wasn't something he would expect to find in such a small town, but he was still really new to town, so he wasn't really sure WHAT to expect just yet.
