ïŒČïŒłïŒŻïŒźïŒĄïŒŹïŒ©ïŒŽïŒč:
As a son of Aries, and one of the War God's personal favorites, it is not surprising that Andrew is a warrior through, and through. He has the mentality of a soldier, and carries himself as a man who can kick your ass with nothing but a pencil. Which he probably could. He is a well disciplined man who, despite being a spawn of Aries, has control of his emotions. Indeed, he has learned to keep his rage under control, and direct it to his benefit. He maintains a cold, and professional manner to him at all times.

He's a firm believer in that respect is something earned, and not given. In order to gain his respect you must prove yourself in his eyes. He can be quite sarcastic, with a bit of a dry wit to him. He is a rather distant man, and has a callous air to him. He isn't one students go to if they have a problem, as he'll always say 'suck it, or I'll give you something to whine about'.

He is a very secretive man, and isn't one to share his past, or feelings. In fact very few know of him. All most know is that he was at one point apart of the Australian Defence Force, and that's about it. Not even teachers know a whole lot about him. He also quite often mixes in Australian slang when he speaks.

ïŒŹïŒ©ïŒ«ïŒ„ïŒł:
✔Combat- Not surprising, but he does enjoy a good old fasion one on one fight.
✔Working Out- He finds it relaxing.
✔Dogs- Andrew is a dog person. Noble creatures.
✔Horror Movies- He enjoys the classic Universal monster movies, Frankenstein in particular.
✔Guns- He loves him his weapons, and has quite the collection.

ïŒ€ïŒ©ïŒłïŒŹïŒ©ïŒ«ïŒ„ïŒł:
✖The Gods- He sees them as just big children that don't take responsibility for their actions.
✖Children- He doesn't have the patience for them.
✖Complainers- Just don't do it around him.
✖Cats- Useless creatures.
✖Talkative People- He doesn't like to talk too much, so he doesn't want to hear it.

ïŒŠïŒ„ïŒĄïŒČïŒł:
☠Dying Out of Battle- In the end Andrew is still a soldier, and will die as such.
☠Enclosed Spaces- He doesn't like the feeling of being closed in.
☠Being Alone- Though he doesn't show it at all, he does have a fear of forever being alone.

Andrew, and Aries relationship is rather one sided. Aries loves his son, and has a high amout of respect for him given his history in the ADF, while Andrew on the other hand couldn't give two shits about him. Andrew holds contempt for the God of War, which has only made Aries more obsessed with getting closer to his son.

ïŒąïŒ©ïŒŻïŒ§ïŒČïŒĄïŒ°ïŒšïŒč:
Andrew Jones is an Australian born, and raised in Brisbane Australia. When he was born his mother put him into the foster system, as she was unable to support a child all by herself. So he never knew any of family growing up, nor does he really care. They abandoned him, so he's better off without them. Growing in a orphanage was hard for Andrew, since he's a child of Aries he was always a rather angry, and violent kid, even more so given the fact he was an unwanted orphan. So he wasn't really favored among potiental adopters.

He was fifthteen when his powers first came in. Aries personally found the boy when he ended up punching a bully through a brick wall. Aries brought him to the Academy to hone his skills. Andrew went, if not only for the chance to actually know his father. But what he saw was that Aries was selfish, and violent. When he was sixteen he decided that since his family wasn't all that cracked up to be, he'd find his own. He ranaway from the Academy, and returned home. He joined the military, and never looked back.

During his service he struggled with his growing powers. That was until he met a man, a man that helped him control them, master his strength, and emotions. twenty-four years later he left the military, and contacted his father. He felt that he failed the Demi-god community, and wanted to make up for it by teaching the young ones how to control their powers by using his own experience. And so he returned to the Academy, and became a teacher.

ïŒŠïŒĄïŒ¶ïŒŻïŒČ ïŒ°ïŒŻïŒ·ïŒ„ïŒČ:
Super strength is Andrew's favorite ability.

A flush of orange leaves litter the campus, and the sound of students arriving and entering the premises of the Academy would have been a sound most welcome to Enoch this morning, but of all mornings, he just had to hear the most discouraging sound raging from the sky only moments earlier, the sound of a thunderbolt belting out on what was mostly clear skied morning. He had to force himself to suppress a groan after being woken by the sound. "Zeus..." he thought to himself, before sitting up on his mattress, he was hoping this first day would be bereft with conflict, but knowing Zeus, his presence in most places signified something urgent, Enoch on the other hand wasn't very excited to find out just what brought him to the Academy.

In fact, he started to wonder, when was the last time Zeus bothered to visit the Academy? A place he often saw as a farm for the children the Gods regularly had. That single comment Zeus had made it so him and Enoch never saw eye to eye on the Academy's function, no where else on this godforsaken realm could the Demi-Gods go to find their true selves, and yet the Gods who gave them life find it troubling that they are given this attention. It was that attitude that led to the near annihilation of the Pantheon, and it was one that still persisted today.

Enoch had to be sure that those comments never found a way to his students ears, and it wasn't as if all the Gods felt the same, but if anything it was easy to see how difficult commitment was for these primordial beings. With all these thoughts shifting around in his mind, he began to ready himself for the day, knowing that Zeus had probably stationed himself in his office.

The orange juice he had for breakfast tasted a little bitter than it normally did, and it was no help that he ended up burning his tongue on microwaved leftover oatmeal, regardless he was there in his office, ready to confront the other God, who looked all but amused to be here, he never expected to have Zeus visit the Academy more than twice a year. In a sense, Enoch liked to compare the presence of the Gods at the Academy, like one would the tooth fairy and Santa; they often times came once a year, or like in the tattered dreams of children, not at all. Enoch entered his office looking rather solemn for Orientation Day, he had to hold back his perceived apprehension at what Zeus had to say.

Within seconds of his arrival though came Andrew, Enoch couldn't tell whether he was thinking the same thing, but in any case he was here to hear Zeus out. The God himself seemed as calm as he could ever be, he was even sitting in Enoch chair of all places, tinkering around with the items on his desk. Enoch couldn't remember the last time he had seen Zeus in any type of lax position, he always seemed high strung, even when Enoch was a young boy so many years ago, and it wasn't as if they saw each other rarely, why he was of course a guest here nearly every year. His presence was usually noted as an inspection of sorts, he needed to know whether or not the Demi-Gods here felt satisfied with their future, even if he didn't personally care.

"It's a fine day to see you two again. I hope that things are looking up."

Enoch suddenly forgets how authoritative Zeus voice sounds when he involuntarily straightens up in front of the other man. "Nice to see you too, and things couldn't be better."

"Well then it's important I share this with you so we can keep it that way."

Zeus begins to wind himself up in front of the two teachers, contemplating on how best to put this.

"Our efforts here are seemingly in vain...even as the total number of students who attend rise, we still have Demi-Gods being recruited by some mysterious faction working against the Pantheon. Know that both of your efforts to maintain a relationship between us and our children, or at the very least mend it is...appreciated, but unfortunately some Demi-Gods will invariably slip from our grasp, and those that do usually end up indoctrinated. We're not sure who is plotting against us or why, But it's obvious to me and the other Gods that their training far exceeds the one given at this Academy. This resistance is stronger, more known, and I have no doubts in my mind that they are looking at this Academy...they are looking to either recruit or tear it apart."

He stared at the other two for a moment remembering fondly how Enoch was first adverse to the idea of the Academy for his own reason back in the day, "All I ask is that this year, you two should be on your guard for students who seem impressionable or easily swayed by their emotions, someone will be caught in the tide, and I believe me and the other Gods might have a Cold War on our hands. I would like to keep the children as far away from this conflict as I can, but that may prove bothersome..."

Enoch nodded to confirm that he understood, there wasn't many words that needed to be said, after all, he was told many years ago to expect resistance, and through it all he would keep the Academy functioning as a healing place regardless of another's intentions. However, there was no resounding guarantee in his mind that he could keep all his students together, and that thought intimidated him like nothing else.

"I'll be keeping contact with you two about this, stay alert, for the line between enemy and friend may be blurred."

Zeus left the two much like how he arrived, in the flash of a bolt that seemed to cascade out of the school, and made the room smell slightly of fire. Enoch reacted like it was an everyday occurrence, Zeus was known to be 'flashy' so to speak. "Well Andrew, you heard the man, it seems like we're gonna have a handful this year.."

He began to walk towards his desk, grabbing his notes for the Orientation speech they had every year, "We'll start the year like we do all the time, see you around..." and with that he took his leave, using the silence of the hallways he traveled in as an echo for his racing thoughts.

For Denzel there was nothing better than having to start the day with a simple breakfast, even if he didn't find the standards of the school anywhere near that of the food he ate back home. Luckily he wasn't always restricted to whatever they happened to serve that day, they even had the choice of eating food outside campus in the city, though he preferred to have his in the Cafeteria for Orientation Day, it would do no good to be sitting around in a cafe, while their handsome Headmaster gave them their first rites of the year, and he wouldn't be caught alone without a least a friend at his side. His breakfast was Waffles, with a side of cream, and a cup of tea. Different from the ala carte that was frequently served for breakfast here, he could recall that half the time people didn't even bother to eat, not that the food was bad or anything, just bland. He began to cut into the soppy mixture of syrup and waffles on his plate, a bit bored at the fact that no one was here to whisk away the boredom eating at the sides of his mind in the moment. "Gods, what is it about Orientation Day that does nothing for me?...oh right...I've been through it 4 times already..."

At least this was the day that was simply known for getting the Freshman settled into the system at Aeonis, and for all the other upperclassmen to groan at the new schedules and harder courses they'd be taking. Denzel was grateful for the fact that they were given the right to have a day to themselves, and during this one day, there was usually something interesting going on,

something that the young man most certainly wanted a part of, something that hopefully included alcohol, women, men, all the other things in-between, and hopefully a hangover as the only setback. He could take a Hangover, any Demi-God could really. He smirked a bit at the thought of what fun may await later in the day and whether or not this year could be more interesting than the last, for once the future that he could only guess on seemed to point to many directions, and Denzel was a an agent of it's confusion.

The smoke entering his lungs seemed a lot more bitter once he realized he caught the wrong bus to the Academy, and was forced to stay overnight on some rooftop in the city, that was probably the worst sleep he ever had in his life, and there was absolutely no exaggeration in his mind that it was all his fault. No doubt his roommate was probably worried sick as to why he hadn't arrived when everyone else was supposed to, or maybe that was a narrative he created for himself as an excuse for the idiocy that led him to the Academy's steps.

Surprisingly, he wasn't even tired, just irritated by the fact that he got things so screwed up, mainly because he shouldn't have had to take the bus in the first place, if his car's radiator had enough coolant. All of this, because of him not taking the proper precautions, and now he had a car sitting in some auto garage halfway across the city, being fixed on money he would owe and the good will of a mechanic on the Island.

He grunted for a moment and pushed his sunglasses up on his forehead when he made it inside the building, rubbing his eyes and then his temples in frustration, but he was at least sated with the fact that he made it somewhat early, it was also a good thing that classes wouldn't start until tomorrow, so he could rest his already frustrated mind.

He walked towards the Dorms before allowing his stomach to lead him into the Cafeteria, he could wait to sate his appetite, but for now a shower sounded way more appealing, traveling for three days just to get here with barely 4 hours of sleep in between each day was not easy, he needed to cleanse himself, and get the clothes he had in his duffelbag on at some point. He opened the door to his dorm, not even in the mood to greet Quentin if he happened to be there as he walked briskly into his own room, stripped his clothes off and jumped into his shower. The water seemed to cool down not only his body, but his aggravated mind, and the feeling of being cleansed was quite welcome to the brunette.

He stepped out and dressed himself quickly, a simple tight black t-shirt, denim jeans, and Bomber jacket, and his glasses. Add that with annoyingly wet hair, and he felt at least ready to take on the day. He walked out out of his Dorm spotting a few familiar faces, but nobody he was feeling the need to address at the moment, in fact it seemed he would take a slow stroll around as there was no real rush for him to have his breakfast so suddenly.

"One ninty-five, one ninty-six, sone ninty-seven..." Andrew counted out as he finished up his morning workout with some pull-ups. Nearly every day he gets up at around five am for his nearly two hour long morning workout session. He is a early riser, been that way since his military days. Some habits die hard. So he gets up early, and get his sweat on. He prefers it that way, since he gets the training room all by himself. Plus half the time he feels like Ms. McKinney, and/or Ms. Stanford are watching him. He gets uncomfortable when he gets stared at.

Andrew dropped down when he reached two hundred pull-ups, and grabbed a towel to wipe off the sweat on his brow. He then heard a loud crackling of a thunderbolt, on a day with a clear blue sky. "Zeus." He growled. He tossed his towel into the dirty clothes bin, and headed out towards Enoch's office, figuring Zeus would be there, to see what's up.

Andrew went on into Enoch's office, to see Enoch inside, and Zeus sitting behind his desk. "It's a fine day to see you two again. I hope that things are looking up." Zeus greeted the two as he played with whatever was on Enoch's desk. "Sir." Andrew replied with a respectful nod. "Is something wrong?" Andrew asked, sure Zeus always visits the academy, but that was always for an inspection, and this felt different though.

"Well then it's important I share this with you so we can keep it that way." Zeus stated as he was preparing himself to say something. Andrew watched him with a slightly raised eyebrow, if he didn't know any better he'd say Zeus is worried about something. Andrew nodded along with Enoch to show he understood as well. "I'll be keeping contact with you two about this, stay alert, for the line between enemy and friend may be blurred." Zeus stated. "Yes sir." Andrew said as he stood in a very military like way.

Andrew rolled his eyes at Zeus' exit. Very inconvenient. "Ain't this just grouse? I can think of 'bout twenty ankle biters that fit the bill off the top of my head." Andrew started. "I'll keep a Captain Cook out for trouble." Andrew said with a nod as he started to leave the office. "Oh, what about the other teachers mate? It'd probably be best if we kept it between us for now." Andrew said as he left, to give him something to think about.

Andrew walked through the halls, and towards the faculty building. He headed towards his office, and say Miss Stanford yelling outside of Miss McKinney's office. Andrew raised an eyebrow at her, especially when he mentioned a secret stash of boozes. Andrew loudly cleared his throat to make his presence known. "G'Day Miss Stanford." Andrew greeted. Before continuing on to his office. "I'll be here if 'ya need me. So try not to need me." He stated as he closed his office door.

Andrew sat down behind his desk, and unlocked the top drawer of it. He took out a cellphone that was inside. He entered a number into the phone, and sat back in his chair as he waited for it to be answered. "G'Day sir. Guess who just popped in for a visit.....aye, Zeus. He seemed worried......No, I don't think he knows about you, or me. As far as they know someone is gathering Demi-Gods......Yes, I have a few prospects that I'm looking at.....There's no need to worry about me sir, I can handle myself......Yes, I've gotta go, I'll call you again for my next report."

"Boom! There goes your head!" "No fair, you always know where the rocket launchers spawn! Cheater!" "I'm sorry you suck so bad." This type of talk went on between a young Jensen, and his little brother Nolan as they played a video game. "So where do you want to lose at next? Beaver Creek?" Jensen then looked over at his brother. Nolan was leaning against the wall in the far back, with a large chunk of his shirt burnt off, and a large burn on his chest. Jensen, on instinct, rushed to his brother's side, who was shaking, and gasping for air.

"Nolan!" Jensen shouted as he got over to his brother. He lightly slapped Nolan on his face, and tried shaking him to wake him up. Then Nolan just completely turned into ash. Jensen stood there in shock as the remains of his brother slipped through his fingers. The veins in his arms began to glow electric blue, and his hands were covered in electricity. The energy began to move around his arms, and started to cover his entire body.

Jensen's eyes shot open as he awoke at the sound of the thunderbolt Zeus arrived in. "Fantastic." He groaned, he knew exactly what that meant. He rolled himself out of bed, and saw that his roomie was already gone. Jensen rolled out of bed, already in a fowl mood from the mere presence of Zeus. He doesn't even need to be around the prick in order for him to sour his mood. He rubbed his eyes, and then heard his phone go off. He searched around his bed, looking for his phone. He turned over his pillows, shuffled through his sheets, and blankets. How does he always lose it?

Eventually he found it underneath the bed, and saw he got a text from Amanda. As soon as he saw the name it made him grin, his day was at least starting to get better. He missed her quite a bit during the break, more than she'll realize. The only time he feels like he can sleep without nightmares is when he's with her.

[To Amanda]
[Oh you got me something? Is it see through? ;) I might have something for you too. See ya in a bit.]

Once that was sent Jensen got cleaned up, and grabbed a small plastic bag from out underneath his bed. He put on his favorite t-shirt, and grabbed his jacket. He exited his room, and soon saw his half-sister, and his roomate together. He'd be lying if he said he wasn't a bit uncomfortable with it. Sure Tristan's a nice guy, and Jensen's not that close to Alex, but still, she is his sister.

"Dude, do I need to get a hose?" Jensen smirked as he swung his jacket around, and threw it on. "Damn, am I only lightning hurler who can just walk out a freaking door?" He asked. "Glad the Almighty Dickcheese didn't stick around for a little reunion though." He smirked before he started to walk away. "Later Trissy, Princess, other guy." He said as he continued on with his business.

The smell of baked goods and cinnamon practically wafted from June’s office, which was neither uncommon nor particularly displeasing to those who knew the school councilor well, especially on orientation day. June never really slept the night before school started, opting instead to calm her nerves by reading through her case files and marathon baking. By the time she’d finished up this morning to shower and down her coffee, she’d finished a batch of each of the staff’s favorite sweets, and enough of her usual tried and true classics to keep her office smelling like a bakery for a week, a state that only helped her cause when trying to get her usual students to come in for their counseling sessions. One student in particular June had learned this strategy helped with immensely, and as June has some bad news to break to the girl today, she was anxious about making sure Abby came in today. There were a lot of ways to hear bad, possibly traumatizing news, but June hoped that hearing it from her in a safe place would be better than learning it on her own.

Her thoughts were interrupted soon by the sound of thunder in the air, which meant only one thing on a day with clear sunny skies. “Zeus
what is he doing here?” June thought with worry. The king of the gods usually only came to the academy for inspections, which tended to be fairly predictable and almost expected. Today however, was not one of those days, which had June a bit concerned. As she walked about the halls with her basket filled with baked goods for the staff, she made a mental note to talk to Enoch about it the first chance she got. Or Andrew
though if June was being honest she knew she probably wouldn’t get much from the man. Maybe June was just a sucker for lost causes, but she’d made it her personal mission to get to know the man since they both began working at the academy. How much headway she’d managed to make, June couldn’t say, though she knew it wasn’t enough to get the man to smile, something she wasn’t prepared to admit how much she wanted to see. Still, it didn’t stop her from dropping off a parcel of his favorite sweets for him to find in his office later.

Once she’d made the rounds dropping off her annual start of the year gifts, the only treats she had left on her were Priscilla’s, and June had a good guess where to find her this time of day. As June headed back into her office, she didn’t have to wait long for her friend to make an appearance. Laughing, June opened the door to her office. “I may just have to take you up on that offer Priss. Especially if my day gets interesting.” June smiled, holding out a pink box filled with her friend’s favorite sweets. “So, you have any interesting plans for our newest additions today that I should know about ahead of time?” She teased.

Someone pointedly clearing their throat behind her had Priscillia spin around and make her humongous purse thump loudly against June's door with all the weight of her laptop and its casing behind the blow. "Hello, darling!" she greeted, practically rolling her r's while flashing him a bright smile. It was Impeccable Pecs. She missed seeing him at the fitness room. Something told her that he was purposefully avoiding her. Can't a guy take a compliment now? It wasn't like she was talking about his junk. At least the last time she had been ogling him. Ahem. He was already making a quick exit unfortunately

"You know that you'll always be needed in my bed!" she shouted at his retreating form before blowing a kiss in his direction. After a small giggle-squeal from her part, the door to the school counselor's door was pulled open and Priscillia was greeted by none other than her best GF with a box of her favorite candy, which made her gasp in feigned horror while her eyes lit up with joy. "Oh, you scheming woman! Trying to ruin my body and teeth so you can get all the hot studs 'round here. C'mere, girl! I missed ya."

Juniper would see herself bear-hugged by her ever energetic colleague and friend. It wasn't that they had not seen each other for that long, but Priscillia was one to always insist on showing her affection in the most public ways. In this case, it was unabashedly hugging the life out of June right in front of her office door while she was inconveniently holding Priscillia's favorite treats.

"What's that smell," she suddenly asked, unwrapping her arms from around the lean woman's neck. She sniffed the air with her eyes closed and let out a contented sign as though a dog having caught the most delicious scent of a piece of juicy steak. "Have you been baking again?"

Then, a thought popped into existence in her ever active mind. "Ohhhh, are you going to gift some to Mr. Impeccable Pecs?" Her question was accompanied by a complicit wiggle of her brows. As she had not yet entered her own office, Priscillia couldn't have known that her friend had already delivered all the wonders she could create out of simple flour and heat. Instead, her imagination had been set off and she had already begun daydreaming about her best friend chasing after their stoic colleague. Hopefully no one will feed her anymore sugar today.

Jensen felt his phone go off in his pocket as he walked away from Alex, and Tristan. He took it out of his pocket to see it was a text from Amanda. But before he could even read it Alex grabbed his arm to give him a stern talking to about their father. He folded his arms, and rolled his eyes. As she talked about how he owes Zeus everything, anger began to sweal inside him. Large, pitch black thunderclouds began forming above their heads, clearly from him, as he griped tighter on his arms. "Owe him?! I don't owe him shit!"

"Being able to shoot lightning from my hands doesn't make me who I am. Who my parents are doesn't make me who I am. I am who I am. No matter what." Jensen growled at his younger sister. "Let me drop some knowledge on ya. We're defined by our actions, not others Princess." Jensen stated, obviously something he felt strongly about. "Family isn't about blood. Zeus doesn't give two shits about any of us, so why should I give two shits about him? I don't need him, I'm fine just the way I am." Jensen stated.

"The only thing the gods care about is themselves. Nothing they've ever done says any different." Jensen said before he walked away, with the crackling of thunder with each step. Jensen looked at the message sent to him by Amanda. It made a smile return to his face as he began to calm down, and the thunderclouds began disappearing. If there's one thing he can say about Amanda, it's that she can instantly calm him down.

[To: Amanda]
[Mmm loving it already! I could go for some fun. Just had a run in with the little sis, the one dating my roomy, incase you couldn't tell by the thunder. I'm on my way. Gotta make up for lost time. ;D]

Jensen stuck his phone in his pocket, and went on to meet her. Hopfully she'll brighten up his day, which she usually does.

Andrew looked over to his shelf next to his desk where he keeps his collection of pistols, and saw a basket of baked goods. "Juniper." He muttered to himself as he picked it up. He didn't understand the fasination her, and her partner in crime have in him. He's never given them any indication that he's interested in them, and always has acted professional to them. He sat the basket aside for later, and placed his secret cell phone back in it's drawer. He got up, and left his office to get to work, kid's asses aren't going to kick themselves after all.

"G'Day Miss McKinney." Andrew greeted with the upmost professionalism. "Thank you for the basket. It's....appreciated. I'll return the basket later." Andrew thanked with a respectful nod. "Now, if you'll excuse me I must go, and whip these bludgers into shape. Someone has to." He said as he left them. With Andrew it wouldn't be all that surprising if he actually meant whipping. He does have a dislike of kids.

As he walked the halls of the academy, a million thoughts raced into his head. All of them about Zeus, and his current place at the academy. If it's found out about him being a rather huge cog in the rising Demi-god war machine by anyone here, he'd be on his own. He knew this going in of course, but still it's not easy hiding who he truly is from people he's around everyday. Though one good thing about being a child of Aries is that antisocial behevior such as his is expected, so no one questions it.

Juniper McKinney

“Oh no, you’ve discovered my evil plan! Now how am I supposed to seduce to staff with lemon squares?” June joked back as she returned Priscilla’s bear hug. Her best friend was definitely a superior hugger, and June felt lighter already just being in her presence. They definitely needed to have a night out together soon to catch up. It wasn’t as if they’d been away from each other for all that long, but it was time enough to have stories to share over mimosas and music.

“Well you know the beginning of the year, have to bait the office for the regulars or they’re likely not to show.” June only half joked. There were at least five students she could think of off the top of her head who would never come as regularly as they did if there were not free baked goods in the mix. As disheartening as that fact was some days, she’d come to accept it as a necessary tool and just do what she could once she got them to come in.

As the talk of her baked goods turned to Andrew, her laugh was a little more self-conscious, though she couldn’t help but smile at her friend’s hilariously inappropriate nick name for their co-worker. “You know if we keep calling him that, we’re going to get nailed for sexual harassment one of these days.” June giggled. “Besides, I think Terry might be a little offended if he knew we gave Andrew that title over him.”

“G’day Miss McKinney.” Speak of the devil

June wasn’t about to deny that Andrew was a handsome, and frankly insanely cut, man, and she’d have to be dead to not find him at least a little attractive. She did however prefer the men she flirted with to at least in some way reciprocate. Andrew mostly just seemed to be uncomfortable when she tried, so June usually attempted a friendly banter with the handsome and anti-social aussie.

“Morning Andrew.” June replied fondly with a smile, nodding as he promised to bring back the basket. “Glad to hear it. Let me know what you think of this batch, I made a few tweaks to the recipe I thought you might like.”

As the conversation turned toward the students, June snorted. “Yeah well, try not to traumatize too many of the freshman today, or I’m pulling you in to help with the extra case load.” June promised as he took his leave. Andrew had a tough front, and had gained a bit of a reputation as a hard ass and grouch amongst the students, but June wasn’t quite so convinced. Underneath that stony exterior, Andrew cared about these kids. He might not show it the way she or some of the other teachers did, but in his own way, they mattered to him. June had a good feeling about that, and general with people, for better or worse, she trusted her instincts.

“So your summer, how was it? Any good stories to share?” June asked, turning back toward Priscilla as Andrew walked away.

Priscillia shook her head as though somber. "You are far too nice, my friend," she sighed then perked up almost instantly, flashing a toothy smile. "All the better for me!" Despite her outgoing and amiable ways with almost anything that lives, Priscillia wasn't exactly the nicest person when it came to personal issues. In fact, she was more likely to just tell you to 'suck it up' before shoving an overly sweetened candy in your mouth rather than lending a shoulder to cry on.

Nevertheless, she was a sucker for real life romantic drama, so the daughter of Aphrodite remained mischievously silent as Andrew reappeared, watching the exchange between her colleague with much interest and given him a silent wave as good bye when he departed. He was a tough cookie. So was June. But in the name of Aphrodite, there will be some matchmaking. The old-fashioned way, of course. Using the powers bestowed upon her by her mother wasn't too fair or fun.

As soon as Andrew was out of sight, she struck a pose, one hand on her hip, and singsonged, blowing on her brightly colored nails. "Oh, don't worry, blame it all on me if that happens. I think the HR has me on speed-dial anyway. What's one extra complaint gonna do to my file?" Just then, aforementioned son of Hermes waltzed into view. And that is why she was envious of her friend's office. It was so accessible and she could just sit in there all day with her door open to watch fine specimens walk by. "A girl's gotta have her secrets! And don't worry, hun, your rump is still number one in my book."

Then, with a sigh worthy of the fangirls of all fandoms combined, she added as he made his way out of the office, "You and Jones would make such a power couple." With June in there too of course. Andrew may be notorious for his harsh ways, but Priscillia had her own ways of scarring the troublemakers of her class.

"Ugh, don't remind me of summer. My arsehole of an ex is still as fussy as ever, and I needed to get creative with my correspondence. He's just jealous that lil' Constance likes my gifts more than she likes his. I've managed to convince a friend to hack into her father's computer. She's become such a cute little angel!" Whenever someone mentioned anything even remotely linked to her little baby girl, Priscillia was off, babbling and cooing about the daughter she had not seen for the past six years. Even if Aphrodite wasn't known to be the best family patron, Priscillia's maternal instincts were still strong, strong enough for her to tolerate her ex's presence around her baby so she could live a normal life.

"You know"—her smile had faltered and her fingers had started nervously fiddling with her purse while her gaze shifted towards the ceiling, as though she could see through it and stare directly at the skies—"I am sort of hoping that she did not inherit my mother's divine blood even if I miss her very much
" Ignorance was bliss sometimes.
