PERSONALITY:
Sly || Observant || Enthusiastic || Playful || Charismatic

Daniel likes to think of himself as a fun and perky individual that looks on the lighter side of life. Even for a demi-god that's attending school and has a knack for some chaos and has probably made it to some mortals hunting list too, he prefers to make the history books going down as himself. Accompanying his tomb and the book would be his rather crude sense of humor, naturally mischievous/guilty and smug look and passion and enthusiasm for every action he executed.

To be a child of Eris is also to be witty, sly and a great improviser when stuck in heat of the moment. His cunning has a way of allowing him to both escape trouble, and keep him seeking trouble so he can appease the side that enjoys chaos, though he tries not to sink under anyone's skin excessively and earn foes. As such he is also observational. If he wants to cause some mischief and let it go off without a hitch and insulting anybody, he has to take note of his surroundings, the people and select his words like a devil dealer.

For the upper hand on the playing field, Daniel can sometimes dumb down himself. Being underestimated does work out to be an advantage in the end game after all. However, if he's acting skills are called out; he feels no need to deny it though a lie lays on the tip of his tongue. Likewise, if anyone accuses him of being bark over bite or takes him and his siblings as less important or significant, he will be quick to commence plotting and correct that error in judgement. Daniel is after all the one that can literally sink under the skin.

Despite him seeming all trickster and “life is a game” motto, he does have an approachable side that adores his family unconditionally and can withhold a tame conversation that is open to almost anybody.
The downs of Daniel however lay within his slight hypocrisy. For he doesn't like people invading his personal space or attempting to snoop in on his life, but he will initiate the same acts on others quite comfortably. As well as utter arrogance which he can sometimes portray in a cocky moment. Overall, unless insulted, Daniel is a harmless companion that seeks entertainment.

LIKES:
Challenges: It's what helps people push themselves, tests themselves. He likes them.
Mortals: As a hobbie in his spare time, he can't help but to enjoy meddling in mortal affairs.
Games: Included but not limited to mind games. Board games or electronic games, it makes no difference. He's a fan and enjoys playing them.
Sweets: Daniel makes quite the sweet tooth and any food or drink that supplies that, is a plus in his books.
Music/Dancing:It's something that expresses a little soul and bounce in the heel as well as used as a social interaction. Why wouldn't he like it?
Movies: Big movie fan. Knows a lot, from disney to horrors. You'd be surprised how motivating they are.

DISLIKES:
Labels:Reducing people to labels and stereotypes...how simple minded. At least let people make an impression first.
Invasion: Of privacy or personal space. Just don't invade it. Even though he can make quite the hypocrite in this particular area.
Children: We all had to start somewhere but they're loud, incompetent, incredibly disruptive, time consuming. Really they just get in the way.
Bores: They're just so serious and no fun. It really can't hurt that bad to show a little personality sometimes.
Clingyness: Even when it doesn't effect him personally, he can hardly handle witnessing the lack of independence and all the loving vibes fluttering in the air.
Strictness: While rules sometimes have to be laid out, being strict with "a stick up the rear" or demanding orders at him..doesn't sit well with him.

FEARS:
☠Heights: He's all for a brave front but he can't fly so if he falls he is gonna hit the ground and crumple.
☠Settling: One day he fears he's going to be reeled in by some pretty doe eyes and convert into the whipped pig he dislikes so much and lose sense of himself and all the mischievous fun he can have.
☠Underachiever:A key reason for physically attending classes is so he can advance on his powers and help amplify himself so he can assure when he goes down it's in a blaze of glory. But there is a fear within that presses he may die without much to show for in his lifetime.

FAMILY:
Zane Madden|| Father:Given Eris didn't stay around long after birth (just enough, time-to-time to assure he embraced his abilities so chaos could be duplicated) and his father selectively chose to keep Daniel under his care as a single parent with no idea, Daniel maintains an abundant amount of respect for him. Zane stuck around even when Daniel started using his abilities around the house rather than freak out and abandon him. Zane hung around for responsibility of his child. And as time passed, they grew closer and Daniel acted more behaved around his father as his respect grew.
Delilah Madden ||Half-Sister: She's just a...twisted little peach that belongs in a horror movie. She's perfect in her mother's eyes and she does have a very protective unit around her including Daniel himself.
Sarah Madden ||Mother In-law:"Ding-dong. The wicked witch lives!" When she first came along, Daniel was skeptical. Now they're married, he's still skeptical. Something about the relationship she has with his father (who he's also protective of) doesn't sit right. It's not what he'd call love but appears to be more gold-digging and Sarah tries really hard to play into requesting mother role now that she's got a little dime on her finger. Daniel doesn't tamper with the relationship though as Zane seems content.

RELATIONSHIP WITH GODLY PARENT:
Eris and Daniel are close in the way they resemble each other via traits but that's nothing special as it happens through most families. They tend not to meet each other much as they're both preoccupied in causing their own chaos somewhere else. Oddly that bugs Daniel a little with his own birth mother not bothering much with him, particularly when he sees functional and loving families. But when he thinks of her, he feels grateful because he's glad and proud of who he is and he wouldn't be him with abilities, without being Eris' offspring.

FAVORITE POWER:
As handy as all his powers are, and given they each contribute and flatter each other, Daniel struggles to narrow it between Possession and Causing Bad Luck to Fall Upon Others.

MISCELLANEOUS:
Pet|Snake||Bindi: She's beautiful and great reminder and representation of his origins. Sarah doesn't want her around.
His true loyalty, though hard to reach, is a great gift. You'll live chaos free while foes will may be smothered in misfortune.

The smell of breakfast cooking downstairs was more than enough to wake the sleeping beauty from her slumber, but her body didn't want to move. She lay there quietly for a moment with her hands under her head, and her eyes tracing the patterns on the ceiling above her. Silence was bliss, but all of that would be over once she gets back to Aeonis Academy. But at least Tristan would be there.

Five minutes or so had passed, and Alex could hear her step-brother getting up, so she finally moved. Her stomach was grumbling with hunger.

"Breakfast is ready!" A voice called out up the stairway. It was Alex's mother. She had been busy preparing everything for her only daughter with knowing today was the Academy's Orientation day, but Alex really didn't want anyone to fuss over it, or her, because it wasn't anything special. Soon enough, Alex and Abel were in the kitchen, and play fighting towards the breakfast table. "Stop it, before your breakfast ends up on the floor."

Their family wasn't perfect, but at least they loved each other. "Where's dad?" Andrew isn't her biological father of course, but he's been there for her a lot more than Zeus. He's raised her, just as if she is his own. Alex has always been protective of her family, so she'll do absolutely anything for them in a heartbeat. No questions asked. "He's gone fishing with his friend, so he'll see you when you're back home." Alex didn't mind that he was outdoors socializing, but she would of liked to say her goodbyes to him in person. Oh well.

I'm really going to miss everyone

Once Alex had finished her breakfast, she made sure that everything was packed.
"Don't worry, I won't forget anything when I stop by with your things."
"Thanks, mom." Alex kissed her softly on the cheek, gave her brother a hug and left out the front door.

Well.. time to go. She shot up into the air so fast, that it was almost missed by her mother and brother who had been watching her leave from the window "Whoah. My sister is awesome!". Susanne Smiled at what Abel had said about her daughter. She was so proud of her little girl, and not just for being half God.

Flying is what she loved about her abilities the most, being able to travel as fast as light. She felt free above the clouds, and she felt as though she was apart of the heavens. She had her finger tips gently gliding along the tops of the fluffy white clouds, but the closer she got to Aeonis Academy, She began to manipulate the weather; causing dark clouds to cluster. Low rumbles of thunder shook the skies and the Earth as she grew closer, racing at high speed towards the ground in a nose dive.

B O O M! Came a low sound.

Her feet had crashed to the earth beneath her, causing the ground to tremble for a few seconds, landing crouched onto the balls of her feet as sparks of lightning bolts crackled around her. She was smirking to herself as she straightened up, her eyes looking around the campus as she pushed a few strands of hair out of her eyes.Typical of Alex, always loved to make a grand entrance. She never could just wander through the main gates. She had to show off. Her happy mood was bound to change once she finds out that her Father was at the Academy and didn't even bother to find her.

“Seriously Delilah, it’s not happening,” he had told his spoiled little sister for the eleventh time, keeping her repelled with one arm and her teddy bear afar with the other arm outstretched. Daniel knew that it looked like a bad joke and initially it was meant for a harmless tease but the teddy was newly poisoned and he had no intention to resume keeping count of how many more times he’d have to tell her no.
“I got to go back to the Academy. I know a lot of people there and they might be willing to give you another teddy,” he tried with a quirky smile.
She froze, thinking on it for a moment and her arms slowly returned to her sides seeming to like this offer. “Fine. But you’ll be gone for a long time again so you can just mail it to me.” With an innocent shrug, she skipped off resuming her play time.
Image
Thankfully, Zane was the next to pass the corner and enter the lounge with a half-smile. “Hey. I’d wish you luck but I think that’s only poor irony. Besides, you’ve made it this far by yourself. Try and…well you know. Stay out of trouble.” He finished and grinned, looking over his boy. “Nice souvenir,” he commented. Daniel’s attention was re-directed to the toy in his hand, that he only nodded along too. “Whatever helps a man sleep at night.” Daniel slowly grew a smirk and hugged his father which was returned. Daniel grabbed his bags and headed out.
“Woah, don’t rush off now, champ. Sarah still wants to say goodbye to you.” Something Daniel would rather miss out on and not so subtly avoided. He pointed to his ears and shrugged, shaking his head at the same time, backing out of the door.
Zane sighed out gently, standing in place watching Daniel go. It were no secret between the two that he didn’t ever like Sarah. His father could have done a lot better for himself.

Once he set up his stuff in his dorm he headed back outside, sitting on one of the outside benches soaking up that morning fresh air. Though, he also had to think about how to ask for a damn teddy while trying to uphold his dignity and pride. As the sky rumbled, followed by the ground with a less than elegant landing, he sighed out as if it were a big nuisance. “The big guy leaves and the offspring arrives,” he mumbled to himself. Both had made a spectacle, demanding their presence be known in one way or another.

“Heeey, Alex. My good friend. On a scale from one to ten, how mad would you be if I informed you, you just missed daddy dearest?” Daniel smiled.
Image
Saving Daniel from pushing Alex’s buttons was the unlikely hero, Tristan, whom stayed on campus most his time. He hastily wrapped his arm in hers and led her away from Daniel. “That was an exciting entrance,” he greeted to divert her attention from Daniel, his lips twisting into an unsure smile. He still couldn’t quite pin point her need for the spotlight. For the most part everyone knew everyone already. Perhaps, it was the fact that he had been harmed by her powers too so he felt uneasy that she were so willing to show them off like it were a simple thing that she had utter control over. Even Tristan knew he hadn't mastered his powers or temper yet. Then again, there was a possibility that Alexandria had advanced her control and just had better control than him.

She should of known that Daniel would be here bright and early.
Does he just wake up every morning to plan who he's going to tease for the day?

What came out of his mouth had stunned her, did she just hear him correctly? her father was at the academy? her anger boiled to a firm 7. "What? ..You--" just as she was about to give that smug little shit more of a reply!? Tristan had come to save the day, pulling her away which cut her off mid-sentence. Her feet were going in one direction, but her body remained slightly turned towards Daniel as she protested a little to stay, but also knew Tristan was right to steer clear from that guys little games. He only wanted a reaction to see how far he could push one of Zeus's offspring's, because rumor has it, all of his children have the same short fuse.

Once away from Daniel, and out of ear shot, Alex began to feel her firm 7 of anger coming down towards a 3. She was upset that her father had turned up at the one place he didn't like much, and didn't even bother to come find her, or to at least tell her that he loves her, misses her. He just took off like he had no care in the world. Why had he even bothered to come in the first place? last time she saw him was on her 17th birthday.

Clearly too busy playing King. she sighed from her thoughts.

Now that she was with her boyfriend, she soon found herself smiling. He made her forget everything, and was the only one on campus who could calm her raging inner storms. "Thank you. It's good to finally be back, I've missed you, Tristan." She pulled him gently into a hug, molding the front of her frame to his manly body, and just remaining there for a moment.

Her lips soon found his after pulling back a little out of the hug, showing him exactly how much she had indeed missed him before slowly breaking the kiss to look up at him. Her eyes were staring into his own as she became lost in them, and her heart was racing beneath her chest. There was no question about it, Alex was falling in love with him. "How was your holidays? - you know.. you could of come to my house and stayed there. My family like you." and they did. Abel was a bit wary at first, because with being so protective of his little sister, he just wanted someone who'd treat her like the princess she is.

She didn't really want this orientation day if she was being honest. Alex loved her classes, especially the training that each Demi-God got to participate in, to go up against each other so that they're ready to battle and defend themselves. Something had to be going on with her Father paying such a quick visit to one of the teachers offices. Hopefully she'll get to see him soon, then ask him nicely if she could get to see him a little more. It was going to be a difficult task, she knew that.. but she wanted to try at least, just so she could say that she did indeed try her best. Alex wasn't a quitter.

It was a good job that her half-brother wasn't around, because his views on Zeus were entirely different to hers, and those views would of taken her anger levels to a definite, firm, 10.

"One ninty-five, one ninty-six, sone ninty-seven..." Andrew counted out as he finished up his morning workout with some pull-ups. Nearly every day he gets up at around five am for his nearly two hour long morning workout session. He is a early riser, been that way since his military days. Some habits die hard. So he gets up early, and get his sweat on. He prefers it that way, since he gets the training room all by himself. Plus half the time he feels like Ms. McKinney, and/or Ms. Stanford are watching him. He gets uncomfortable when he gets stared at.

Andrew dropped down when he reached two hundred pull-ups, and grabbed a towel to wipe off the sweat on his brow. He then heard a loud crackling of a thunderbolt, on a day with a clear blue sky. "Zeus." He growled. He tossed his towel into the dirty clothes bin, and headed out towards Enoch's office, figuring Zeus would be there, to see what's up.

Andrew went on into Enoch's office, to see Enoch inside, and Zeus sitting behind his desk. "It's a fine day to see you two again. I hope that things are looking up." Zeus greeted the two as he played with whatever was on Enoch's desk. "Sir." Andrew replied with a respectful nod. "Is something wrong?" Andrew asked, sure Zeus always visits the academy, but that was always for an inspection, and this felt different though.

"Well then it's important I share this with you so we can keep it that way." Zeus stated as he was preparing himself to say something. Andrew watched him with a slightly raised eyebrow, if he didn't know any better he'd say Zeus is worried about something. Andrew nodded along with Enoch to show he understood as well. "I'll be keeping contact with you two about this, stay alert, for the line between enemy and friend may be blurred." Zeus stated. "Yes sir." Andrew said as he stood in a very military like way.

Andrew rolled his eyes at Zeus' exit. Very inconvenient. "Ain't this just grouse? I can think of 'bout twenty ankle biters that fit the bill off the top of my head." Andrew started. "I'll keep a Captain Cook out for trouble." Andrew said with a nod as he started to leave the office. "Oh, what about the other teachers mate? It'd probably be best if we kept it between us for now." Andrew said as he left, to give him something to think about.

Andrew walked through the halls, and towards the faculty building. He headed towards his office, and say Miss Stanford yelling outside of Miss McKinney's office. Andrew raised an eyebrow at her, especially when he mentioned a secret stash of boozes. Andrew loudly cleared his throat to make his presence known. "G'Day Miss Stanford." Andrew greeted. Before continuing on to his office. "I'll be here if 'ya need me. So try not to need me." He stated as he closed his office door.

Andrew sat down behind his desk, and unlocked the top drawer of it. He took out a cellphone that was inside. He entered a number into the phone, and sat back in his chair as he waited for it to be answered. "G'Day sir. Guess who just popped in for a visit.....aye, Zeus. He seemed worried......No, I don't think he knows about you, or me. As far as they know someone is gathering Demi-Gods......Yes, I have a few prospects that I'm looking at.....There's no need to worry about me sir, I can handle myself......Yes, I've gotta go, I'll call you again for my next report."

"Boom! There goes your head!" "No fair, you always know where the rocket launchers spawn! Cheater!" "I'm sorry you suck so bad." This type of talk went on between a young Jensen, and his little brother Nolan as they played a video game. "So where do you want to lose at next? Beaver Creek?" Jensen then looked over at his brother. Nolan was leaning against the wall in the far back, with a large chunk of his shirt burnt off, and a large burn on his chest. Jensen, on instinct, rushed to his brother's side, who was shaking, and gasping for air.

"Nolan!" Jensen shouted as he got over to his brother. He lightly slapped Nolan on his face, and tried shaking him to wake him up. Then Nolan just completely turned into ash. Jensen stood there in shock as the remains of his brother slipped through his fingers. The veins in his arms began to glow electric blue, and his hands were covered in electricity. The energy began to move around his arms, and started to cover his entire body.

Jensen's eyes shot open as he awoke at the sound of the thunderbolt Zeus arrived in. "Fantastic." He groaned, he knew exactly what that meant. He rolled himself out of bed, and saw that his roomie was already gone. Jensen rolled out of bed, already in a fowl mood from the mere presence of Zeus. He doesn't even need to be around the prick in order for him to sour his mood. He rubbed his eyes, and then heard his phone go off. He searched around his bed, looking for his phone. He turned over his pillows, shuffled through his sheets, and blankets. How does he always lose it?

Eventually he found it underneath the bed, and saw he got a text from Amanda. As soon as he saw the name it made him grin, his day was at least starting to get better. He missed her quite a bit during the break, more than she'll realize. The only time he feels like he can sleep without nightmares is when he's with her.

[To Amanda]
[Oh you got me something? Is it see through? ;) I might have something for you too. See ya in a bit.]

Once that was sent Jensen got cleaned up, and grabbed a small plastic bag from out underneath his bed. He put on his favorite t-shirt, and grabbed his jacket. He exited his room, and soon saw his half-sister, and his roomate together. He'd be lying if he said he wasn't a bit uncomfortable with it. Sure Tristan's a nice guy, and Jensen's not that close to Alex, but still, she is his sister.

"Dude, do I need to get a hose?" Jensen smirked as he swung his jacket around, and threw it on. "Damn, am I only lightning hurler who can just walk out a freaking door?" He asked. "Glad the Almighty Dickcheese didn't stick around for a little reunion though." He smirked before he started to walk away. "Later Trissy, Princess, other guy." He said as he continued on with his business.

Despite still not trusting her roommate one hundred percent, Mystique left her bags in the dorm and headed outside where she preferred to be and braced herself to face another year at Aeonis Academy. She supposed it didn’t really matter, she had no valuables in her bags or nothing really that stuck out. A perk of being a wallflower. However as senior year were only 12 months away, she desired to start changing things around. Be noticed as a fellow student that were just as important at the academy and equally powerful and capable as the rest.
Then again, that could’ve been Abbey in her head, rambling on about her own high school stories. Cheerleading and drinking, and sex drama. All those scandalous things Mystique couldn’t bother with but made enticing little tales.

“Always be true to yourself. That is the only way you will ever be truly appreciated. Your powers are great and a gift. As are you.” Her father’s sweet words seemed to echo in her mind.I wish to avoid being overlooked this year That was all. She missed her wise father already. It couldn't have been easy running two teenage girls that contrasted each other in so many ways.

“Daniel!” She exclaimed, her voice portraying excitement that she were surprised to find. Daniel were one that acknowledged her properly and didn’t seem to mind her debatably bland company. But also, from time-to-time she just felt free around him. The kind of girl her father would like to see more of. Her eyes flickered to the ground for a moment as her feet carried her onward to Eris’ child. “Daniel,” she greeted more coyly. “How was your break?” That were a fair conversation starter as she tucked her hair behind her ear.

ImageHe kissed her back and slowly returned his arms to his side hearing Jensen. Tristan couldn’t help but chuckle a little and roll his eyes being caught with Alexandria. He were still a little uncomfortable with expressing affection if he were to be honest and her half-brother and his roommate seeing it were no aid, but he gave Jensen a brief wave off. He shoved his hands in his pockets after that and resumed conversation with Alex quickly. “It’s always nice to know I’m in someone’s good books but nah, staying at the academy is easier. Less travelling. More spar buddies to encounter. More training accessible,” he told her. “Besides, they haven’t witnessed Ares’ wrath yet and I’d like to keep it that way.” So far Tristan had maintained his temper and shocking blood lust in front of her family leading to a fairly decent reputation.

Tristan glanced nervously between Jensen’s back and Alex. Speaking of wrath....Their father perspectives often led to disagreements that ranged on levels. Feeling in another awkward position, he raised his brows to his girlfriend, plastered in place. “I’m gonna go eat.” He found his words cueing for escape and followed them to the cafeteria.

I’m not even that hungry, he noted to himself as he eyed the selection of food. Usually he was fond of breakfast too. Maybe he was just over orientation before it even began. They seemed to be slow moving days. Though there were always the possibility of meeting the newest descendants of Ares.

ImageDaniel shrugged at the lack of acknowledgement he had received, which oddly in it’s own way in-cooperated a reaction. When Mystique called to him though, he flashed her a bright grin. “Hey! Hey, let’s skip the common riff raff and get to the point.” Daniel’s hand held the top of her arms so she was hopefully inclined to look at him and prepare herself for a very serious conversation. “Do you have or know anyone that can create a little fluffy bear toy? Hephaestus’ kids maybe?” He suggested to himself, furrowing his brows. “Te-” he answered for himself again. “Tess!” he called out to the campus. He were aware that she liked to deal more so with the technical stuff as opposed to knitting and stuffing and whatever else it took to make a teddy bear. It were a large half-hearted shot.

He sighed out as if losing hope after one lousy attempt, allowing his shoulders to slump slightly. “Well…that can be another day’s problem. How is the shapeshifting coming?” He smirked at the simple link of her name being Mystique like the blue woman from X-Men who could shapeshift too. Woman - Mutant. Demi-God – Girl. Same path. "Had any intriguing conversations with bunnies lately that I should know about?"

For a man specialized in speed, he lacked punctuality. Only traditionally for the welcome back type of days that moved slowly and consisted of lost students. The perfect example being orientation day which in his opinion were fair. He was pacing down the hall to find haven in his own office, and begin planning lessons for the students before catching a whiff of baked goods and further hearing Priscilla and June talk excitedly in her office, particularly at the mention of pecs. He took a glance down self-consciously then rolled his eyes at himself. Even women could be girls and talk was talk.

Terrance decided to join the social club against better judgement but it couldn’t hurt to swing by, then continue on his way to his own office. He leaned in the doorway of the councillor’s office. “I am hurt. I thought we had something special, Priss.” He dramatically placed his hands over his heart with a pout. But given acting wasn’t his forte, he cracked a smile. “How is it you still have a job here and haven’t been fired for hassling fellow staff?” That was walking right into a remark about the child of Aphrodite’s charm, but were too late to take back now.

He nodded to June with a smile in official acknowledgement, since his greeting had jumped straight to joking with Priscilla about the pair’s comments and June had been the one to make half a case for him on his physique. However, time was ticking and inventive thoughts were slipping. “Let’s hope for a good day.” He raised an arm half-heartedly as if that portrayed accurate enthusiasm and continued his busy walk until he reached his own office and smiled at the basket that awaited him. He didn't like to indulge in goodies, especially as a P.E teacher but the truth was there were always a guilty pleasure and cheat days.

Mystique gripped his arm in turn staring at him rather concerned and even more so as he said what he did, regarding a teddy bear. Rightfully he assumed her answer for no as he rambled on about other options and then her powers. “Just stop. Did you say you needed a teddy?” her voice peaked with amusement, accompanied by a disbelieved smile awaiting Daniel to admit to his joke. She gasped excitedly “Oh my god, you’re not joking.” She laughed a little, covering her mouth feeling rude to do so directly in front of him.

She thought it best to move on from the topic. Even for a care-free lad like Daniel, on some level it probably hurt to ask for a teddy bear and needed to be on the down-low. “Shape shifting is to be mastered," she answered at last. Frankly it were one of her most engaging powers and definitely needed a lot of practice applied. “And I did have an intriguing conversation with a rabbit actually who discussed the possibility of becoming a carnivore.” She smiled to him even when knowing it were an awful attempt at a joke. But Artemis’ children weren’t particularly known for their humor and she had given it a go and offered a distraction from the teddy incident as well as her own struggle to transform into any animal.

Mystique, though she appeared to lack confidence, didn’t lack anything of the sort, as demonstrated by her blues looking right back at his daring ones. She were just more of the reserved type but blooming as she allowed herself to laugh and joke. Even if on a shallow level.
Daniel smiled a little simply for the attempt she had made which were out of her comfort zone enough. Besides, despite many fellow students perspective he weren’t a bully, at least not to colleagues. Just considered iffy company due to his hunger for some trouble. “Well, I’ll keep an eye out for killer bunny.” He stated, his brows perking up. “Though do you know the power of a snake in this campus? So many people either dislike, hate or fear them. It’s always fun to do to the newbies of the campus.” Daniel found himself shifting beside the small frame of the female, leaning toward her as if she were interested in such a scandal.

ImageBeing aware that he were possibly breaching her personal space, he only glanced to her at the corner of his eyes and smirked. “Cafeteria?” That were generally where they found everyone else. If there were a common alluring aspect of campus, it were food. Not even Aphrodite’s children compared next to food.

Daniel led the way with Mystique in step or not and instinctively browsed the few bodies in the area for anyone that stood out. He scratched his jaw, debating briefly whether to do a needless cue cut or not, just to experiment with people’s reactions. Expected were either a laugh at the petty crime, tugging him back in line as best case scenario. A potential neutral “what the hell?” or worse case, someone to blow it out of proportion and add Daniel on their mental enemy grudge list. Which were beyond him to understand in absolute truth especially since there weren’t really need for a line. It were more a take what you want when you want set-up but not everyone got that. Some people on campus had a stick up their rear.

He waited behind Isabel and Cory, who were the kind to generally respond well to immature, meaningless jokes. Yet he waited for the tall ginger junior, whom he had made his acquaintance. Or friend. Temporarily he wondered on where that relationship was but shrugged it off. Particularly at hearing Cory mid-conversation with Isabel… “ have you planned that Back to Hell Blowout, yet? I'm actually willing to help out, don't be too shocked." Which made Daniel’s brows pull together. The guy had his own methods though and he were best left to it without Daniel's commentary or queries in the background.

"I know." She heard Tristan say, causing her to smile in his direction after pushing back her long dark locks with one hand. This was one of the reasons why she had been attracted to him in the first place, because he always understood no matter what the circumstances were.

Alex had never in her life met any guy like him. One time she went out with a complete mortal guy, and thinking back to it now, it just isn't the same. She's so used to having her abilities & powers now, that she can't live without them, so a mortal guy wouldn't be able to fill her needs. Tristan does though, he fills everyone of her needs. Alex smirked to herself before taking a drink from her strawberry godshake. Milkshake to mortals, but with a bit more.. kick to it. Image

“You alright?” he asked. “Do you need to go a few rounds with me to get it out of your system?” Sparing was actually a good idea, especially with it being pretty cool outside. Alex hated the heat, rain is where it's at. Plus, sparring was their thing. “If it helps…most of my siblings and I bond over fighting. Literally, while we spar.” Alex grew a grin and laughed. While smiling with her pearly white teeth on show still, Alex answered him with a little witty reply. "I'm okay. I just wish Jensen wasn't such an ass. He's still my brother though, I know." she chuckled. "A spar though, huh!? - Alright, I'm game - but do you think you can handle the humiliation of losing to a girl?"

Though instincts urged her to slide out of arm’s length from Daniel, she stood her ground and found flattery. His words had barely reached her because she were so focused trying not to budge or give him any reaction to appease the easily amused devil child. Good company as he were for Mystique, Daniel often felt the world were his playground and she were not about to encourage the idea of her being a toy.

The female had let her mind slip to other thoughts evidently as she followed Daniel then bumped into his back. Usually she were much more in tune with her surroundings and responded quickly to external stimuli but she had miscalculated her steps and peripheral vision entirely. “Sorry,” she apologized briefly. She threw her thumb over her shoulder to begin her justification from what she saw outside. “Kyle’s alone. And I just…” she didn’t even know why that had caught her attention…“not used to it,” she muttered, her voice fading from the sentence.

Mystie sighed out gently, expecting a range of unwelcomed smart comments to follow the meaningless observation, wandering to a table in advance so Daniel could at least get it out of his taunting system where there were less ears lurking. Since she had already satisfied her morning appetite, there were no need for her to be up by the food anyway.

She drummed on the table with her index fingers, blowing out her lips before deciding to tie her hair into a bun to suit the weather outside and keep her growing anxiety at bay as she waited for Daniel to re-join her.

Bringing him back to the present were Mystique bumping into him which he only smiled at and teasingly stuck out his bum to her. Dismissing the matter with ease, Daniel’s eyes had locked on the food that targeted his appetite drifting along to it as well as catching every word of Mystique’s. “Then why don’t you talk to him?” he said bluntly, combining it with a soft tone. “Or is he busy being alone?” When he glanced back to where Mystique should have been, he only saw her retreating figure and smiled to himself.

He finished serving himself then sat with Mystique whom only sought temporary escape, laying his tray on the table and smirked. “Don’t like Athena’s kid? You uh…prefer Eris’ son?” he added mockingly suggestive before laughing. “Eh, he’s got his own ginger friend anyway.” As if there were a limited role per friend group for a red head.

Leaving a moment’s peace for Mystique, he silently debated whether to express the song on his mind or pick at some more casual conversation. Then again, Daniel wanted her to take more initiative. She reeked of potential after all and she weren’t going to unlock it by second guessing herself. But he soon called that hope quits.

“Sex bomb, sex bomb, you’re my sex bomb” he sung, shaking his shoulders subtly to the rhythm in his head and glancing around the cafeteria. He caught sight of Alex and winked and resumed his repetitive singing quietly of the well known chorus.

“That’s not going to happen,” he assured which usually would have taken a stern tone, and though he were serious about his statement, it were good to be accompanied by a smile. Before the pair proceeded to spar though, his mind started to work on potential scenarios and outcomes which were very unlike him who usually acted before noting on any calculation. Then again, the response he prepared may have been the bravest thing ever. “We better not.”

Yes. He had actually declined a willing fight. Maybe he were sick. He more so didn’t want to jump back on the teacher radar.

“Where’s this orientation being held anyway?” he asked, finding new frustration. Tristan wished the school gave him some more direction sometimes. This were a day he preferred to just charge through. Or at least hope for a Minotaur to bust through the walls and declare a fight so Tristan could claim defense.

Though Daniel at such a rate would suffice...just when Tristan thought he grew an immunity to the stirs of Daniel. “How's the family?” he asked for sake of distraction after giving a warning glare to the snake.

"Yeah, you're probably right.. especially with how tight the rules are around here." Alex was looking forward to a bit of a spar, but it would of only attracted attention. They had their sparring moments during one of their classes anyway. It would of been nice though to let off a little bit of steam. The very thought of her father being at the academy was still playing on her mind. Before Daniel had even told her that Zeus was on campus, Alex remembered that she had a feeling in the pit of her stomach. She had sensed him during the storm that formed on her arrival, the same feeling she had when she ran away from home once. She had been going through one of those teen phases where they believed that everyone in their family didn't like them, or love them, so she ran away that very night. The rain was so heavy because she recalled that she couldn't really see anything in-front of her, but she did notice the blinking neon sign that hung up outside some diner.

She had spent ages in there to get dry, and warm. The woman who ran it had a heart for those in need, so on the house!? Alex got a meal for free. For a lady of her age, Alex could remember how pretty she was. Just like her mother. The inner feeling that makes you feel homesick was setting in already, along with guilt and regret. She shouldn't of left. But all of that past stuff was buried in the past now. Her family does love her, and does care. She was about to reply to Tristan again, but Daniel had made himself known yet again, but this time he sounded like he was auditioning for America's Got Talent. Tristan had shot him a warning glare as Alex averted her eyes from Daniel after he winked in her direction. She felt like rolling her eyes right then and there. Clearly he was doing it to get a reaction out the both of them. "My family are doing really well. Abel is graduating university in another year, so that's exciting. My mums getting a new job, so we should be moving to another house. A bigger one. How about yours?" Abel was Alex's step-dads son from a previous marriage, but he was still waiting for his ex-wife to sign the divorce papers so he could marry Alex's mum in Autumn.

She glanced to Daniel who was still dancing and silently singing. She had to admit, he was actually entertaining to watch most the time. "Where's your friend?" Alex asked for a moment while looking around for the red headed girl she had seen him with. The canteen was beginning to fill up with more students. After their breakfast, hopefully orientation time would start, because she was growing inpatient of waiting around. Excitement and energy was dying to burst out of her, she needed to get to the interesting classes to train her ass off.
