PERSONALITY:
Being a God is never planned, and of course, as a God, Enoch was never sure how exactly they were supposed to act. First impressions tag Enoch as a respectable sort, hardy, and tough around the edges, but at the same time a huge goofball. Before tend to see Enoch as someone who's easy to talk to, more like a friend than any authoritative figure, but he has enough self respect that students cannot deny him his place as their leader and sometimes enforcer. He is often times playing around with others or offering advice to students, and quite obviously he is a favorite among many students because of the way he places his peers first before even himself. He is a warm sort of fellow, charming, and humorous, and many see him as Down-To-Earth as he is never unsure about his thoughts or reactions to things. He has a certain savvy about him that allows him to defuse stressful situations, or to calm down and analyze what his next step must be, he can be rather methodical, and calculating, and may sometimes take his time before giving an answer. He seems to be a bit sensitive to the elements, and can be easily caught up in his emotions, often times it is hard for him to disassociate with what might be happening as he can be easily influenced by the moods of others.

Enoch can honestly be a bit obnoxious or insensitive towards others, and as a result he may not realize he's hurt someone, in any case he would definitely apologize if the other person felt offense. He can also be rather childish, which is sometimes a good features and bad when he fails to take things seriously, but it is oftentimes the reason why others tend to gravitate towards his antics. He's a positive individual, and is cautiously idealistic about others, he tends to see the best in others even at their worst, and does not inherit the idea that there could truly exist a purely evil being. One might think of this as naive, but this view is formed from his years on Earth with humans, and on Mount Olympus as a god. Enoch is a wise soul in the truest sense, and has a sense of intuition about things that most Humans or Gods would be surprised about, his years being a surveyor of both sides has given him a look into life that most people wouldn't understand, although despite some more depressing aspects of his own life, he maintains a surprisingly positive air about him. Enoch can come to anger quickly, and can sometimes be manipulative in the sense that he would like people to see things from his perspective, and that isn't to say his is always the right one, though he never does so with the intention of harming another, more under the hand of suggestion. In any case, he is about as trustworthy as they get, as far as Headmasters are concerned he seems to be unwavering in his dedication to his students, who he hopes leaves the Academy with the best outlook on both their powers and future.

RELATIONSHIP WITH GODLY PARENT:
What can be said about Apollo and Asclepius? They have a long history together, and understandably Enoch probably gets more attention than he feels he should from his father, usually at least once a month they go to a bar, order some drinks and catch up with one another, he feels somewhat bad that he's one of the few children that Apollo actually stayed and raised, and as grateful as he feels for that, it was hundreds of years ago, and as a man who has a family of his own, it's difficult seeing his father be so loose with his standards of parenting.

FAVORITE POWER:
Well his most prominent power of course, which is healing, while you might think he likes it because he can heal any injury to his own body, the real reason is because he can help others quite easily, and even if he was punished for using it while on Earth at one time, he still tries to help as much as he can.

MISCELLANEOUS:
Owns a Shiba Inu named Taco. you'll usually find it around the halls of the Academy, begging for treats from strangers.

So begins...

A flush of orange leaves litter the campus, and the sound of students arriving and entering the premises of the Academy would have been a sound most welcome to Enoch this morning, but of all mornings, he just had to hear the most discouraging sound raging from the sky only moments earlier, the sound of a thunderbolt belting out on what was mostly clear skied morning. He had to force himself to suppress a groan after being woken by the sound. "Zeus..." he thought to himself, before sitting up on his mattress, he was hoping this first day would be bereft with conflict, but knowing Zeus, his presence in most places signified something urgent, Enoch on the other hand wasn't very excited to find out just what brought him to the Academy.

In fact, he started to wonder, when was the last time Zeus bothered to visit the Academy? A place he often saw as a farm for the children the Gods regularly had. That single comment Zeus had made it so him and Enoch never saw eye to eye on the Academy's function, no where else on this godforsaken realm could the Demi-Gods go to find their true selves, and yet the Gods who gave them life find it troubling that they are given this attention. It was that attitude that led to the near annihilation of the Pantheon, and it was one that still persisted today.

Enoch had to be sure that those comments never found a way to his students ears, and it wasn't as if all the Gods felt the same, but if anything it was easy to see how difficult commitment was for these primordial beings. With all these thoughts shifting around in his mind, he began to ready himself for the day, knowing that Zeus had probably stationed himself in his office.

The orange juice he had for breakfast tasted a little bitter than it normally did, and it was no help that he ended up burning his tongue on microwaved leftover oatmeal, regardless he was there in his office, ready to confront the other God, who looked all but amused to be here, he never expected to have Zeus visit the Academy more than twice a year. In a sense, Enoch liked to compare the presence of the Gods at the Academy, like one would the tooth fairy and Santa; they often times came once a year, or like in the tattered dreams of children, not at all. Enoch entered his office looking rather solemn for Orientation Day, he had to hold back his perceived apprehension at what Zeus had to say.

Within seconds of his arrival though came Andrew, Enoch couldn't tell whether he was thinking the same thing, but in any case he was here to hear Zeus out. The God himself seemed as calm as he could ever be, he was even sitting in Enoch chair of all places, tinkering around with the items on his desk. Enoch couldn't remember the last time he had seen Zeus in any type of lax position, he always seemed high strung, even when Enoch was a young boy so many years ago, and it wasn't as if they saw each other rarely, why he was of course a guest here nearly every year. His presence was usually noted as an inspection of sorts, he needed to know whether or not the Demi-Gods here felt satisfied with their future, even if he didn't personally care.

"It's a fine day to see you two again. I hope that things are looking up."

Enoch suddenly forgets how authoritative Zeus voice sounds when he involuntarily straightens up in front of the other man. "Nice to see you too, and things couldn't be better."

"Well then it's important I share this with you so we can keep it that way."

Zeus begins to wind himself up in front of the two teachers, contemplating on how best to put this.

"Our efforts here are seemingly in vain...even as the total number of students who attend rise, we still have Demi-Gods being recruited by some mysterious faction working against the Pantheon. Know that both of your efforts to maintain a relationship between us and our children, or at the very least mend it is...appreciated, but unfortunately some Demi-Gods will invariably slip from our grasp, and those that do usually end up indoctrinated. We're not sure who is plotting against us or why, But it's obvious to me and the other Gods that their training far exceeds the one given at this Academy. This resistance is stronger, more known, and I have no doubts in my mind that they are looking at this Academy...they are looking to either recruit or tear it apart."

He stared at the other two for a moment remembering fondly how Enoch was first adverse to the idea of the Academy for his own reason back in the day, "All I ask is that this year, you two should be on your guard for students who seem impressionable or easily swayed by their emotions, someone will be caught in the tide, and I believe me and the other Gods might have a Cold War on our hands. I would like to keep the children as far away from this conflict as I can, but that may prove bothersome..."

Enoch nodded to confirm that he understood, there wasn't many words that needed to be said, after all, he was told many years ago to expect resistance, and through it all he would keep the Academy functioning as a healing place regardless of another's intentions. However, there was no resounding guarantee in his mind that he could keep all his students together, and that thought intimidated him like nothing else.

"I'll be keeping contact with you two about this, stay alert, for the line between enemy and friend may be blurred."

Zeus left the two much like how he arrived, in the flash of a bolt that seemed to cascade out of the school, and made the room smell slightly of fire. Enoch reacted like it was an everyday occurrence, Zeus was known to be 'flashy' so to speak. "Well Andrew, you heard the man, it seems like we're gonna have a handful this year.."

He began to walk towards his desk, grabbing his notes for the Orientation speech they had every year, "We'll start the year like we do all the time, see you around..." and with that he took his leave, using the silence of the hallways he traveled in as an echo for his racing thoughts.

For Denzel there was nothing better than having to start the day with a simple breakfast, even if he didn't find the standards of the school anywhere near that of the food he ate back home. Luckily he wasn't always restricted to whatever they happened to serve that day, they even had the choice of eating food outside campus in the city, though he preferred to have his in the Cafeteria for Orientation Day, it would do no good to be sitting around in a cafe, while their handsome Headmaster gave them their first rites of the year, and he wouldn't be caught alone without a least a friend at his side. His breakfast was Waffles, with a side of cream, and a cup of tea. Different from the ala carte that was frequently served for breakfast here, he could recall that half the time people didn't even bother to eat, not that the food was bad or anything, just bland. He began to cut into the soppy mixture of syrup and waffles on his plate, a bit bored at the fact that no one was here to whisk away the boredom eating at the sides of his mind in the moment. "Gods, what is it about Orientation Day that does nothing for me?...oh right...I've been through it 4 times already..."

At least this was the day that was simply known for getting the Freshman settled into the system at Aeonis, and for all the other upperclassmen to groan at the new schedules and harder courses they'd be taking. Denzel was grateful for the fact that they were given the right to have a day to themselves, and during this one day, there was usually something interesting going on,

something that the young man most certainly wanted a part of, something that hopefully included alcohol, women, men, all the other things in-between, and hopefully a hangover as the only setback. He could take a Hangover, any Demi-God could really. He smirked a bit at the thought of what fun may await later in the day and whether or not this year could be more interesting than the last, for once the future that he could only guess on seemed to point to many directions, and Denzel was a an agent of it's confusion.

The smoke entering his lungs seemed a lot more bitter once he realized he caught the wrong bus to the Academy, and was forced to stay overnight on some rooftop in the city, that was probably the worst sleep he ever had in his life, and there was absolutely no exaggeration in his mind that it was all his fault. No doubt his roommate was probably worried sick as to why he hadn't arrived when everyone else was supposed to, or maybe that was a narrative he created for himself as an excuse for the idiocy that led him to the Academy's steps.

Surprisingly, he wasn't even tired, just irritated by the fact that he got things so screwed up, mainly because he shouldn't have had to take the bus in the first place, if his car's radiator had enough coolant. All of this, because of him not taking the proper precautions, and now he had a car sitting in some auto garage halfway across the city, being fixed on money he would owe and the good will of a mechanic on the Island.

He grunted for a moment and pushed his sunglasses up on his forehead when he made it inside the building, rubbing his eyes and then his temples in frustration, but he was at least sated with the fact that he made it somewhat early, it was also a good thing that classes wouldn't start until tomorrow, so he could rest his already frustrated mind.

He walked towards the Dorms before allowing his stomach to lead him into the Cafeteria, he could wait to sate his appetite, but for now a shower sounded way more appealing, traveling for three days just to get here with barely 4 hours of sleep in between each day was not easy, he needed to cleanse himself, and get the clothes he had in his duffelbag on at some point. He opened the door to his dorm, not even in the mood to greet Quentin if he happened to be there as he walked briskly into his own room, stripped his clothes off and jumped into his shower. The water seemed to cool down not only his body, but his aggravated mind, and the feeling of being cleansed was quite welcome to the brunette.

He stepped out and dressed himself quickly, a simple tight black t-shirt, denim jeans, and Bomber jacket, and his glasses. Add that with annoyingly wet hair, and he felt at least ready to take on the day. He walked out out of his Dorm spotting a few familiar faces, but nobody he was feeling the need to address at the moment, in fact it seemed he would take a slow stroll around as there was no real rush for him to have his breakfast so suddenly.

{ 7 A.M. || Son of Hecate and Teacher of Greek Mythology || His room --> Hallways }

Out of all the days in a year, this was the one he considered the most festive. This was the day that he was always busy scrambling to find papers, learning the names of the new teachers, and preparing things to say to those he had not seen all summer. However, instead of doing these things, Otto just stood in front of the glass bathroom mirror, staring at his reflection lackidaisically. This time around, Orientation Day would be a bit different. Perhaps drastically different.

Three more days. Three more days until his son's eighteenth birthday. Three more days until Hecate's curse would finally take place, and three more days until his past mistakes would finally catch up to him. Just thinking about how many minutes Quentin had left made him cringe like a madman. The fact that he could do nothing in his power to prevent his son's demise made him cringe even more. It had been so hard to jump out of bed this morning. He couldn't even wrap his head around the mornings soon to come.

But despite the lack of hope in his utterly frail situation, was he going to give up? Was he still going to try and change things before it was too late? Those were questions he was still trying to find answers to.

He stared at his face, his eyes, his hair. Clearly, fatigue and age had marred him. Already, he was beginning to gain the appearance of an old man. Well, perhaps he was an old man, despite the fact the felt as though he still had much to learn. He sighed, shut off the bathroom light, and exited into his small dormitory's study. He draped a navy blue blazer over his white flanel shirt, snatched up a green clipboard resting on the table nearby, exhaled a deep sigh, and with his chin and posture forcefully risen, exited into the hallways of the faculty building.

As he scurried through the long corridors that appeared to be a bit whitewashed from the light of this dull morning, he figured it best to head to the security of his own classroom, where he would quietly eat his breakfast in peace. Otto had already decorated his room and prepared his syllabus a good two weeks in advance. He was a tidy man. Clumsy, but undoubtedly tidy. He liked to be prepared. It was a virtue taught to him by his parents at a young age, and his instincts always felt a bit frazzled whenever he had no plans. That was one of the reasons why he always kept himself busy. He had found the rush of activity to be much more pleasant than the power of relaxation.

Before his conscious began to pass into mindlessness, he found a silhoutte breezing through the halls nearby. He could tell from the figure's dark hair and broad shoulders that it was the respected and much-cherished man known as Enoch Nixon. In other words, the headmaster. In even more words, the god of medicine and healing, Asclepius.

To Otto, he was a wise man. Enoch's demeanor and effort to make everyone happy was always a pleasure to behold. The mythology teacher was grateful to have him as a boss. The more Otto thought about him, the more he realized the man's power in the world of Olympus. It was then, as he stared upon him from a distance, that the grey-haired man had an idea.

He sprinted up to Enoch's side, giving him a half-hearted smile. If not for depression and exhaustion weighing him down, it would have been bigger.

"Good morning," he chirped, trying to keep up with the headmaster's pace. His strides were a lot wider than his. "Erm," Otto stuttered, "if you don't mind, I-I need to talk to you. Preferably in private." He scratched the back of his head with his left hand. His other right hand tightly gripped the edge of his clipboard in sheer apprehension. "Probably later, I guess? You're most likely busy...as you usually are. I uh...see you've got some notes there. So later, maybe? If that's okay?"

Realizing that he was speeding through his thoughts and talking much too fast, Otto quickly composed himself and took a deep breath in.

"Sorry," he apologized, "It's just something really urgent to me, that's all."

{ 8:02 A.M. || Daughter of Athena || City --> School Grounds }

Heartbeats pounding like a hammer. Air in and air out. Silence and the smell of half-lit cigarettes.

These were the sights and sounds that littered the atmosphere of the dusty apartment room located outside of Aeonis Academy's campus. Outside of the perspective of the fiery-haired girl standing in the middle of the living room, the area was dark, morbid, and seemingly deserted. Even though there was a half-opened window bringing in delicate traces of daylight, the musty space continued to lack any kind of brightness. If a maid or any other stranger had walked into the flat at that exact moment, they would have questioned why on earth there was an alabaster-skinned seventeen-year-old standing there with a blindfold over her eyes and an actual katana sword grasped between her hands. Obviously, it was a rather strange sight. A sight you didn't see every day. However, for the girl actually holding the heavy Japanese blade, this circumstance she found herself in was completely, utterly normal.

The daughter of Athena stood there in anticipation; she was listening, feeling, and learning her surroundings rapidly like a blind bat caught in the dead of night. Her knees were buckling in weariness, but that was the fun of it all. To her, everything challenging was entertaining. This was a girl who found all television shows boring, parties absolutely worthless, and gossip a topic for the dull-witted.

To put it simply, this was a girl who took comfort in the abnormal, and banished everything society and well-mannered individuals deemed as appropriate.

Just then, she heard the quick pitter-patter of tiny feet swiftly approaching behind her. Like a flash of lightning, she pivoted on her heels and raised her sword up high, deflecting the blow of the other sword attempting to penetrate through her skull. She heard a loud clanking sound and valiant, "Kiya!" and with a twist of her hips, she dodged another blow. Her legs moved forward, and with an offensive mindset, she swung the sword forward, and then behind. She jabbed and blocked, and finally, her katana crashed with the other. She pushed, but the force was unwavering. The girl couldn't break free. And it was in that moment that her blindfold was cast away from her face. A Japanese man gazed upon her with intensity, his blade still connected to hers. Slowly, he cast his katana down, giving her a proud smile and two distinct words.

"Good job."

✤✤✤✤

"Y'know, you did outstanding work today, Miss Reyes." the man raspily muttered after stopping at the red light in front of him. "For only a month of practice, you have the swordsmanship of Miyamoto Musashi."

The red-haired girl emotionlessly stared out the car window, observing the streets of the unsullied city that lay before her. Her hand was gently rested upon her chin, while a slender finger hung between her two thin lips. "Your praise is undoubtedly appreciated, Akio," she said, "but my real concern and attention lies in whether or not I have earned the prize you promised me. Have I passed your precious test?"

The man chuckled, and shook his head. "All this training I've offered you, and all little lolita cares about is her damn prize." He snickered, rolled his eyes, and then placed his attention back on the road. "You've passed, and the prize is yours. Of course you've earned it, Miss Ruth. Even though I think you deserve more than that useless junk."

While others fled the prestigious academy for demigods in favor of home during the hot summer months, Ruth Reyes always made the decision to stay upon the peninsula until school was back in session. She did this not out of hatred for her adoptive parents or because of a rebellious disposition, but out of a burning curiousity and a desire to learn everything she could about the world of Greek legend and mythology. The city folk near Aeonis knew a plethora about the gods and their might, and Ruth, with her mental metabolism, made it her goal to inquire them all. Fortunately for her, she had a place to say during the summer, and that place was the apartment of a demigod whom she simply called Akio. She did not know his last name, as he refused to reveal it to her. Most likely out of fear that she would figure out the terrible shenanigans he pulled in the past, she presumed.

Akio was odd, just like her. When she first came to the peninsula at the age of eleven, he was only city-dweller who offered her a place to stay. He saw something in her that most people assumed was insanity. He let her smoke and do whatever she wanted without judging her actions. As long as she "paid" him in return, (which meant making his adrenaline rise, as he had an addiction to dangerous, risky scenarios,) their relationship would always stay a good one.

"So," he started again, "Orientation day, huh? I remember starting school every year. How eager I was to start trouble on the campus. I doubt you're the same way, little lolita. I doubt you ever start trouble."

Ruth snorted. "You don't know how wrong you are, Akio. Unlike you, however, the trouble I start is never intentional."

He snickered. "Anyways, did you see the strange lightning cloud in the sky this morning? Freaky weather, I say. This place is always so abnormal. The sun's shining brightly, and BOOM! Almost made me shit my pants in bed..."

The girl's brows lowered as the car continued to accelerate forward. "Where was this cloud?"

"Just over the academy, I believe. Why do you ask?"

Ruth smirked. "Because that was no ordinary lightning cloud. That was Zeus."

Akio scoffed in surprise. "Zeus? What would Zeus with all his power and responsibility be doing at tiny Aeonis Academy? You know how lowly he thinks of the establishment."

The daughter of Athena turned to face him. "Well, that's the question I'd like to answer. Clearly he came down for an important reason. He wouldn't just leave Mount Olympus to have a chat over tea and biscuits, now would he?" In that instant, Ruth began to chuckle with glee.

Akio glanced at her in confusion. "Why the sudden laughter? You're a lunatic, you are."

She quietly shook her head. "Because this is a wonderful mystery that needs to be solved, that's why!" and with that, the car stopped in front of Aenois Academy's gates. Akio reached behind him, and from the back seat, drew a leather messenger bag that undoubtedly belonged to Ruth. "Your prize is inside," he said, giving her a quick peck on the forehead as though she were his daughter. "See you soon, little lolita. Take care" With a final nod and smile, the girl exited the car, and with her power of intagibility, passed through the steel gates as though they were composed of liquid.

She quickly strolled across the winding paths of the academy, eager to get back to her dormitory. She wasn't so happy to see her roomate, but she was excited to get back into the groove of the school year again. Suddenly, a jogger passed by. She recognized the runner as Zoe Yeoman, a daughter of Hermes, and judging by the music that blasted through her earbuds, a lover of classic rock music. Recognizing the melody, Ruth smirked, pulled out her phone, and scrolled through her list of contacts until she found the girl's name. Zoe Yeoman might not have had her number, but Ruth had hers. She quickly tapped the keys on her grey iphone and hit 'send'. The text read...

To: Zoe Yeoman
You have a great taste in music. I personally prefer "Paint It Black", as it is more emotional in my eyes, (the PTSD of a soldier after the Vietnam War is a very heavy subject to tackle,) but I guess the lyrics to that song are more motivational. Happy jogging.

Finally, Ruth entered the girl's dormitories, where she sauntered through the hallways until she found her room. She phased through the solid door, opening up her messenger bag and placing her labelled "prizes" (various blood samples of rare mythological beasts) upon the table nearby. She'd put the glass tubes in the freezer later, but until it was time to head to class, she'd do some testing first. After downing a pill intended to calm down her schizophrenia. Ruth looked around, and gingerly knocked on her roomate's door.

"Spencer?" she called, "are you awake?"

"One ninty-five, one ninty-six, sone ninty-seven..." Andrew counted out as he finished up his morning workout with some pull-ups. Nearly every day he gets up at around five am for his nearly two hour long morning workout session. He is a early riser, been that way since his military days. Some habits die hard. So he gets up early, and get his sweat on. He prefers it that way, since he gets the training room all by himself. Plus half the time he feels like Ms. McKinney, and/or Ms. Stanford are watching him. He gets uncomfortable when he gets stared at.

Andrew dropped down when he reached two hundred pull-ups, and grabbed a towel to wipe off the sweat on his brow. He then heard a loud crackling of a thunderbolt, on a day with a clear blue sky. "Zeus." He growled. He tossed his towel into the dirty clothes bin, and headed out towards Enoch's office, figuring Zeus would be there, to see what's up.

Andrew went on into Enoch's office, to see Enoch inside, and Zeus sitting behind his desk. "It's a fine day to see you two again. I hope that things are looking up." Zeus greeted the two as he played with whatever was on Enoch's desk. "Sir." Andrew replied with a respectful nod. "Is something wrong?" Andrew asked, sure Zeus always visits the academy, but that was always for an inspection, and this felt different though.

"Well then it's important I share this with you so we can keep it that way." Zeus stated as he was preparing himself to say something. Andrew watched him with a slightly raised eyebrow, if he didn't know any better he'd say Zeus is worried about something. Andrew nodded along with Enoch to show he understood as well. "I'll be keeping contact with you two about this, stay alert, for the line between enemy and friend may be blurred." Zeus stated. "Yes sir." Andrew said as he stood in a very military like way.

Andrew rolled his eyes at Zeus' exit. Very inconvenient. "Ain't this just grouse? I can think of 'bout twenty ankle biters that fit the bill off the top of my head." Andrew started. "I'll keep a Captain Cook out for trouble." Andrew said with a nod as he started to leave the office. "Oh, what about the other teachers mate? It'd probably be best if we kept it between us for now." Andrew said as he left, to give him something to think about.

Andrew walked through the halls, and towards the faculty building. He headed towards his office, and say Miss Stanford yelling outside of Miss McKinney's office. Andrew raised an eyebrow at her, especially when he mentioned a secret stash of boozes. Andrew loudly cleared his throat to make his presence known. "G'Day Miss Stanford." Andrew greeted. Before continuing on to his office. "I'll be here if 'ya need me. So try not to need me." He stated as he closed his office door.

Andrew sat down behind his desk, and unlocked the top drawer of it. He took out a cellphone that was inside. He entered a number into the phone, and sat back in his chair as he waited for it to be answered. "G'Day sir. Guess who just popped in for a visit.....aye, Zeus. He seemed worried......No, I don't think he knows about you, or me. As far as they know someone is gathering Demi-Gods......Yes, I have a few prospects that I'm looking at.....There's no need to worry about me sir, I can handle myself......Yes, I've gotta go, I'll call you again for my next report."

"Boom! There goes your head!" "No fair, you always know where the rocket launchers spawn! Cheater!" "I'm sorry you suck so bad." This type of talk went on between a young Jensen, and his little brother Nolan as they played a video game. "So where do you want to lose at next? Beaver Creek?" Jensen then looked over at his brother. Nolan was leaning against the wall in the far back, with a large chunk of his shirt burnt off, and a large burn on his chest. Jensen, on instinct, rushed to his brother's side, who was shaking, and gasping for air.

"Nolan!" Jensen shouted as he got over to his brother. He lightly slapped Nolan on his face, and tried shaking him to wake him up. Then Nolan just completely turned into ash. Jensen stood there in shock as the remains of his brother slipped through his fingers. The veins in his arms began to glow electric blue, and his hands were covered in electricity. The energy began to move around his arms, and started to cover his entire body.

Jensen's eyes shot open as he awoke at the sound of the thunderbolt Zeus arrived in. "Fantastic." He groaned, he knew exactly what that meant. He rolled himself out of bed, and saw that his roomie was already gone. Jensen rolled out of bed, already in a fowl mood from the mere presence of Zeus. He doesn't even need to be around the prick in order for him to sour his mood. He rubbed his eyes, and then heard his phone go off. He searched around his bed, looking for his phone. He turned over his pillows, shuffled through his sheets, and blankets. How does he always lose it?

Eventually he found it underneath the bed, and saw he got a text from Amanda. As soon as he saw the name it made him grin, his day was at least starting to get better. He missed her quite a bit during the break, more than she'll realize. The only time he feels like he can sleep without nightmares is when he's with her.

[To Amanda]
[Oh you got me something? Is it see through? ;) I might have something for you too. See ya in a bit.]

Once that was sent Jensen got cleaned up, and grabbed a small plastic bag from out underneath his bed. He put on his favorite t-shirt, and grabbed his jacket. He exited his room, and soon saw his half-sister, and his roomate together. He'd be lying if he said he wasn't a bit uncomfortable with it. Sure Tristan's a nice guy, and Jensen's not that close to Alex, but still, she is his sister.

"Dude, do I need to get a hose?" Jensen smirked as he swung his jacket around, and threw it on. "Damn, am I only lightning hurler who can just walk out a freaking door?" He asked. "Glad the Almighty Dickcheese didn't stick around for a little reunion though." He smirked before he started to walk away. "Later Trissy, Princess, other guy." He said as he continued on with his business.

Juniper McKinney

The smell of baked goods and cinnamon practically wafted from June’s office, which was neither uncommon nor particularly displeasing to those who knew the school councilor well, especially on orientation day. June never really slept the night before school started, opting instead to calm her nerves by reading through her case files and marathon baking. By the time she’d finished up this morning to shower and down her coffee, she’d finished a batch of each of the staff’s favorite sweets, and enough of her usual tried and true classics to keep her office smelling like a bakery for a week, a state that only helped her cause when trying to get her usual students to come in for their counseling sessions. One student in particular June had learned this strategy helped with immensely, and as June has some bad news to break to the girl today, she was anxious about making sure Abby came in today. There were a lot of ways to hear bad, possibly traumatizing news, but June hoped that hearing it from her in a safe place would be better than learning it on her own.

Her thoughts were interrupted soon by the sound of thunder in the air, which meant only one thing on a day with clear sunny skies. “Zeus…what is he doing here?” June thought with worry. The king of the gods usually only came to the academy for inspections, which tended to be fairly predictable and almost expected. Today however, was not one of those days, which had June a bit concerned. As she walked about the halls with her basket filled with baked goods for the staff, she made a mental note to talk to Enoch about it the first chance she got. Or Andrew…though if June was being honest she knew she probably wouldn’t get much from the man. Maybe June was just a sucker for lost causes, but she’d made it her personal mission to get to know the man since they both began working at the academy. How much headway she’d managed to make, June couldn’t say, though she knew it wasn’t enough to get the man to smile, something she wasn’t prepared to admit how much she wanted to see. Still, it didn’t stop her from dropping off a parcel of his favorite sweets for him to find in his office later.

Once she’d made the rounds dropping off her annual start of the year gifts, the only treats she had left on her were Priscilla’s, and June had a good guess where to find her this time of day. As June headed back into her office, she didn’t have to wait long for her friend to make an appearance. Laughing, June opened the door to her office. “I may just have to take you up on that offer Priss. Especially if my day gets interesting.” June smiled, holding out a pink box filled with her friend’s favorite sweets. “So, you have any interesting plans for our newest additions today that I should know about ahead of time?” She teased.
