"See you later Tae-chan!" The raven-haired girl said as she waved goodbye. Otae waved back, putting an triumphant smile on his face.
'Sometimes these girls just make it too easy' He thought to himself as he chuckled and began leaving the school grounds. Otae looked up into the sky and noticed that it was already getting kind of dark. "Huh. Maybe I should have brought her home. Mizu is on a 3-day schooltrip afterall, and mom is out of town." He said aloud to himself, casting a sinister grin. "Bring who home exactly?" Otae heard a familiar voice ask him. He turned and looked upon the class rep with the same sinister gaze.
"Well if it isn't the class rep. How about it? Would you prefer I take you home instead?" He asked nonchalantly.
"As if. I'm not one of those stupid girls you're always picking up, Takamiya. I'm here to keep you in line." She stated before grabbing Otae's shirt collar and balling her free hand into a fist. "My, my. Is this any way for a class rep to act? Violence is never the answer Shizuka-chan~" Otae commented, mocking her.
"Don't you call me by my first name, you trash!" Shizuka yelled out before sending her punch towards Otae's face, which he easily blocked since he knew it was coming. When she was going to punch him, Shizuka let go of his collar, once again giving him mobility. He quickly spun around Shizuka and grabbed her wrists, resting his chin on her neck. "Come on. You know you can't resist me for long. Even a girl as sheltered as you." He mocked. Shizuka blushed before rearing her leg up and sending it backward, hitting Otae where the sun don't shine. He doubled over holding his vital regions in pain. "F-...Fuck..." He managed.
"Hmph. That should teach you a lesson." Shizuka said before walking off, and leaving Otae there. After a few minutes, he managed to recover.
"That bitch... I'll definately make her regret this later." Otae said, panting a little.

As Otae started home, he still couldn't help but notice that it was really too dark for it to be just 3:30. "What the hell is going on? Is it daylight savings?" He said to himself before a heavy object ran into him, toppling him over. "Hey! What the hell do you think you're doing?!" He exclaimed pushing the person who had knocked him down off of him. His face went a little pale as he saw a woman about the age of 19 bleeding from several wounds, and panting heavily. "What the f-"
"Hehehehe. It looks like you've finally reached the limit that body can withstand, Enenra. Why not just stay still so I can finish you off? I'll make it quick and painless. Well... Maybe. Hehehehehe" Otae was cut off by a deep, intimidating voice. Slowly he shifted his head to the side and laid eyes upon a horrific monster. It was some type of humanoid, but Otae could definately feel some kind of demonic presence coming from it. He shook a little, but made sure that his voice wouldn't shake with it.
"What are you exactly?" He asked the creature. "Whats this? This human can see me?" The tedlar began walking towards Otae and the bleeding woman slowly.
Otae could feel his heartbeat pulse at every step. "Listen human. For I will now reveal the name of your killer. My name is Unis, and I am a mid-level tedlar."
The monster said to Otae. "Tedlar? Just what in the hell is th-... Ugh." Otae began before darting his eyes down to see that the monster had stabbed him through the chest with it's fingers. "W-... Why?" He uttered before falling to the ground, blood pertruding from his mouth. As Otae's vision began to blur, he noticed the woman next to him had stopped breathing. Probably dead from the blood less. Otae soon noticed that it had become hard to breath. His lungs had been punctured and blood was filling them up.
'Damn it... I don't want to die like this...' Otae thought before he began to drift into unconsiousness.

'If that is the case, then would you like to make a contract with me?' Otae heard a voice say to him in the depths of his mind. 'Please... I just want to live...' Otae pleaded to the voice in his head. 'Very well. I shall begin the contract. I'm sorry to say that I've mislead you. Once I have completed the contract, your body shall not completely be your own. You will only have control of it, when I permit you to. Because of my situation, I shall need to steal it in order to meet my goals.' Otae couldn't even process enough thought to respond, before the last bit of life drained from his eyes.
"Damn. Looks like I took to long playing with that human. Enenra went and died on his own. Unis complained, after checking the woman's corpse. The tedlar turned to leave before it noticed an aura immiating behind it. "What the...? Enenra? You're still alive?! Wait a minute... No Inferno Hell appeared after Enenra died... That means he must have moved to the body of the human I just killed!" The tedlar exclaimed as it turned to see Otae's body standing, with a dark aura surrounding him. His hair turned a darker gray and his left eye turned pure yellow. His right eye however appeared to be a small black abyss with a single blue jem resting in the middle. "You bastard... This time I'll make sure to kill you before you have a chance to switch to a different corpse." Unis stated before charging foward at incredible speed, shooting his arm foward and piercing Otae in the stomach. Otae spit up blood, as he soon came into consiousness. "W-what the hell?! My chest stopped hurting, but my stomach feels like shit..." He stated before realising that the tedlar from before was impaling him. He cried out in pain as the tedlar threw him into a telephone pole. "W-w-w-w-what the hell is going on?!" Otae panicked.

'Calm yourself, human! I need you to calm down!... This is strange. How is it that you are able to maintain your own consiousness? Nevermind that. For now, we must rid ourselves of this eyeswore. Such a truly disgusting being. Listen carefully human. With our combined power, we may stand a chance against this enemy. You just have to do what I tell you. You were just killed, and my power is what is keeping you alive at the moment. But if you don't listen to what I have to say, then we're both dead. First, take a look at your chest. Its already begun healing, see? Because of me, your body can heal at a high acceleration. Next I need you to perform a simple fist spell. That should at the very least buy us some time.' The voice began explaining. 'Wait... Who are you? What are you talking about? What do you mean I'm dead?!' Otae yelled at the voice in his head, too frightened to say it out loud. 'We don't have time for that. I'll explain later. 1st I need you to get up.' Otae did as he was told, as the tedlar known as Unis was only a few yards away from him. 'That Tedlar's name is Unis. He specializes in mid-ranged attacks that involve his fingers. If we can hit him from long range or melee range, we should be victorious. Unfortunantly I don't have enough Invento Hell to cast any energy spells, so our best bet is melee range. The problem is getting past his mid-ranged attacks...'
'I-...I got it! I just need to avoid his fingers when he shoots them at me, and I can land a hit on him. But just how do I use this Iveeta Hall thing?' Otae asked.
'Its called Invento He-... Nevermind. Just concentrate on your hand. Focus and imagine energy building into it.' Otae did as he was told, and felt power building in his fist. 'Woah! What was that?!' He remarked, astonished at the power building in his hand. 'That is the power of Invento Hell being utilized. Next time, don't charge another fist until we've reached him. It will only waste more Invento Hell. Look sharp! You're within range of his fingers now.'
'Got it...' Otae responded, starring the deadly tedlar right in the eyes.
"Lets finish this, Enenra." Unis said before aiming his hand in Otae's direction and shooting his fingers foward. Otae saw where the first one was coming and moved to dodge it. This was successful, but he didn't see another one coming right from behind. "Shit!" Surprisingly, Otae managed to avoid not only that finger but several more in a second.
'M-my body avoided them on it's own!' Otae exclaimed in his head.
'You're welcome human. Now hurry up and get to him!' The voice shouted, obviously annoyed. Otae rushed foward, noticing that Unis still hadn't shot the fingers from his other hand. Unis cackled, before unleashing his other fingers. With the voice's help, Otae was able to successfully avoid all of them. "What?!" The tedlar exclaimed, now nervous. 'Now! Charge the fist spell!'
Otae concentrated on his fist, and brought it up to the tedlar face.
"No way! Even at this weakened state..." Unis said, before the fist went through his face and continued through the rest of his head. What was left of Unis's body fell to the ground and then dispersed, leaving behind what appeared to be a floating soul. Otae panted, unable to comprehend what had just happened.

'Congradulations human. You've just killed your first tedlar. Do you see that floating object there? Touch it. That is a condensed form of the Invento Hell that tedlar has gathered.' Otae hesitated at first, but then took a deep breath before walking toward the Invento Hell and touching it. The soul soon dissapeared and entered Otae's body.
"What exactly did that do?" Otae asked as if it was something completely normal.
'Strange. I thought that would surprise you more. You are definatly not a normal human.'The voice answered.
"So... You told me that you're whats keeping me alive, right? Is there a way to get my life back?" Otae asked.
'Right to the point I see. As for a way to revive yourself... There is a way, but I'm not exactly sure how accurate it is. I've never performed the ressurection spell before.'
"Ressurection spell? Whats that?" Otae asked, interested in hearing this. 'The ressurection spell is the only known power that is said to be able to revive a living being. However, it requires over 1,000 Invento Hell to perform. Even with that, it isn't 100% that the spell will work.' The voice explained. Otae thought for a second. "So basically I need to gather over 1,000 Invento Hell to "POSSIBELY" get my life back... Just what kind of sick joke is this?"
'I'm afraid that it is far from a joke, human. However, I do believe that we have somewhat of a common goal. I need to recover Invento Hell in order to fend off my pursuers, and you need Invento Hell to revive yourself. Surely you wouldn't mind working together?' The voice proposed.
"I guess not... Shit... This is just too much to take... By the way. My name is Takamiya Otae. Whats your's?" He asked.
'I see that you at least have manors. My name is Enenra Baku'

Calla was pacing. She could not help it, anytime she was away from her human, she was worried. Always wanting to rush back to him and make sure no one harmed his fragile, human body. Any of the Tedlars would be happy to kill him if they found out she had taken a human mate. And with that she reminded herself that she musn't become so attached. A human's life could end any day, Daisetsu's especially since he had such a dangerous job. Or, dangerous to a human. Calla was positive she could walk through a fire and come out unscathed. But she also wasn't overly eager to attempt it.

In a way, the Lady admired her human. Even knowing that he could die any moment, he still did what he did. She knew she couldn't say that for herself, being blessed with an amazing healing ability and a almost incapability to die. Though Calla was fairly positive something could kill her, she just hadn't found out what yet. And oddly enough, she found herself thinking about it quite often. The Lady had done all that she'd wanted, she had lived long enough. Now, it was just getting..boring. The only thing that kept her from abandoning this human body was Daisetsu. And she could add that to her, already overwhelming, list of things to thank him for.

"Miss Perne?" Her pacing stopped and she turned towards the sound of her secretary. "Yes James?" Her calm tone is strained, worry clouding her eyes. "There is something you should see..." The low-level tedlar trails off and Calla is at his side in a second, golden eyes blazing as she pulled the male inside and slammed the door shut. "What is it? Is Daisetsu okay?" He is the first thing that comes to her mind. "Yes, yes-" He was annoying her now, James was never one to just get to the point. "-one of the Tedlar's reported that, well-" Growing impatient, she grabbed him by his collar and pushed him up against the wall. "Spit it out!" She growled, voice low. "They said they spotted a dead woman on the street. With a huge hole in her chest..." Calla sucked in a deep breath before dropping James to the floor.

She got home in no time. At first she had been tempted to just run back to their house, but decided against it because it was important she remained as normal as possible. Slamming the car door shut, she couldn't hold herself back and sprinted to the door, nearly pulling it off the hinges as she pulled it open. "Daisetsu?" She called out, trying to sound calm but even a child could sense the fear in her voice. "Daisetsu, where are you?" Calla left the kitchen and ran-walk towards the living room. "Daisetsu!" Calla had practically jumped onto her human, wrapping herself around him. "Are you okay?" Pulling away from him slightly, her eyes examined him for injuries.

Daisetsu let out a soft sight as he stepped out of his old banged up car and walked up to the house he had parked in front of. His house, of course. Normally he wouldn't be home so early with so much work to be done, especially with the body of an unidentified woman found right in the middle of the street, but the chief had ordered it. Setsu had to admit it was a good idea. The second he stepped out of the station, his legs nearly fell out from beneath him as he realized he didn't know the last time he'd taken a break. He'd gone home every other night for a short nap but usually ended up spending it all with Alisa, falling sleep right on the spot as they sat there and talked. 'Things have been getting serious between us over the last few weeks,' he thought quietly to himself as he pulled out his house key and unlocked the front door, pushing it open and quickly tossing his hat on the coat rack. 'She's here so often, she lives here just about as much as I do with schedule. Maybe I should..." He suddenly lifted a hand and gave his forehead a good slap as he cut off his own thought. 'What am I doing? I got at least three different cases to review, I can't get distracted at a time like this,' he thought sternly as he peeled off his jacket and hung it up as well. 'I can think about our relationship once I've made sure we live in a safer city. For her sake.'

Daisetsu made his way to the living room, kicking his shoes off and loosening his tie before sitting down on one of the big comfty chairs and closing his eyes. Despite his own scorning however, Alisa was on his mind in a second. He wanted to call her up and invite her over, have someone to talk to for the next for precious hours as she worried about how he was running himself ragged. She was honestly the kind of woman most men only dreamed were real. She was smart, beautiful, caring and always worrying about him. He couldn't blame her. He remembered the nights when his mother sat in quiet tension by the phone, waiting to hear if her husband would be coming back after he was pulled into yet another hostage negotiation or bank robbery. It tore her to pieces the night she finally got the new she'd always feared. He never wanted to put Alisa through that situation. Especially if...

His thought was cut short again, not by his own stubborn determination but by the sound of his door being slammed open and hurried footsteps entered his house. His heart skipped a beat or two until he recognized the voice that rang through the air. The panic in her voice sped up his pulse again as he pushed himself up out of the chair, stretching for a second as he hurried over to the commotion. He was about to call out to her in return when she suddenly came hurtling around a corner and spotted him.

"Daisetsu!"

The next few seconds became a blur of golden locks and entangled limbs as he rushed over to him and hung to him tightly, nearly knocking him right off his feet with the sudden yet affectionate tackle. Once he managed to regain the breathe that had been knocked out of him, he began to laugh. She was worried for him, much more so than he'd seen before but it wasn't important. He was fine and she sure seemed happy to see it. "Hehe. If I knew you were so worried, I would have called you before I left the station." A few seconds ticked by as the embrace held and eventually the realization of how deep this moment felt sank in. She seemed downright panicked and was holding on to him like his life depended on it. She really cared. As with many of his epiphanies that dealt with Alisa, it ended with him going slightly red faced. "S-Sorry if I worried you," he stuttered out, still not sure what had her so frantic.

In Hell. The Western Realm.

Rukimu gazed at her kingdom, a large area of red, black, and blue land. Her fingers snapped and three mid-level tedlars appeared kneeling before her. She stood above them and whispered, "News from the North?" The youngest of the tedlars looked up at her, worry and fear etched in his face. "Enenra has abandoned his realm and transported to Earth. We are unsure of who sent a hunter to take him down, but we have heard that he is being killed. The land is available to be claimed," his tone quavered at the end. They all were unsure of how Rukimu would take the news. She could either lash out in anger that someone could have possibly gotten to her prey first and that Enenra left this place for humans. Or she would be happy and pleased because of it. Finally after a few tension-filled moments, another one of them cleared their throats, "More power for you, Queen Rukimu." The Queen smiled and ordered the three to rise. "How wonderful," her body moved gracefully around them. "Now listen to me." Her fingers wrapped around their shoulders and her voice dropped to a dangerously low whisper. "I want to kill Enenra and take over his realm. Now, I bet the other two want the land as well, but of course I want it more," she moved away from them and smirked. "Bring Ginta to me. I wish to travel to Earth and kill that human loving demon myself. I will take Ginta. I trust that the rest of you will hold down the fort," she turned her back and started down the stairs that led down into her "bedroom".

Behind her, the three dispersed to amend their master's commands. The blue flames around her feet rose to be two feet as her excitement pulsed in her chest. She licked her lips nearly tasting the power that would come from the newly acquired land. The Invento Hell surged through her veins as they sensed more of them coming. She now needed a new vortex to inhabit and another one for her most trusted tedlar, Ginta. He shared her hunger for power and held the same personal greed as she did. Ginta, though, was in love with his master. Rukimu never allowed herself such feelings. Heat surrounded her and Ginta appeared behind her, his handsome face smirking in pleasure, obviously tasting the new power as Rukimu just was. "I found a vortex for you and one for me. I ask you for your commands, my beautiful queen." He bowed.

Turning to face him, she placed her arms around his neck as he rose. "We leave soon. I wish to find the Eastern Lady, I believe she too resides on Earth. She can help us capture Enenra. Then, with or without her, we slash the beating heart out of that human loving coward," her tone was almost loving. His death played over in both their minds, the image of him suffering sending a shiver of joy down her body. "As you wish," Ginta disappeared into the air.

On Earth. One Day Later

Rukimu tossed her long brown hair over her shoulder and looked about as she crossed the human filled streets. This world was a big change compared to her realm. She didn't like much of it, because of the population of humans, which alive, she disliked. The scent of the Eastern Lady led her to this town. It wasn't small, nor was it huge. Unimpressed, Rukimu entered a restaurant to feed a little bit of hunger growing in her stomach and to casually meet up with one of her subordinates who was searching for Calla. She ordered a table for two saying that a friend of hers was going to meet her. She chose that seat farthest to the back of the restaurant. Her eyes drifted around the place and found herself feeling disgusted. She was in a eatery with humans. Making a face, she averted her attention to an approaching waitress. She ordered something small just to order something. Human food was never really appetizing to her.

Her alias as of recently is Ruki Blu. She was a nurse and was supposed to be on vacation with her sister in Hawaii when she died in a freak car accident. Ginta approached her and smiled, his pale face calm and collected. He wore his human male well. His human name was Henry. "Ruki, I'm so sorry I'm late," he said. They liked to play along with their roles as humans, it was a sick joke to them using dead souls as their body puppets. "Oh its fine, Henry," she smiled and touched his hand. "Any news from the north?"

"I heard a woman's body was found lying dead on the streets. A hole was found in her chest," his eyes steeled a bit. "It was Enenra's vortex. The tedlar sent to take care of him seems to have failed and Enenra has taken another human. I lost his scent after that." Rukimu leaned back in her seat, trying to keep calm. The fire around her ankles burned lightly against her skin as she fought with her emotions to keep calm. She was unsure whether to be excited or disappointed or happy. "I seems I can still finish the job," she smirked. "Calla?"

"Ah, yes," Ginta, or Henry, replied, "she is here. But I cannot figure out why she has stationed here for such a long time. Her aura and her tedlars' auras have lingered here longer than normal. I suspect something is going on with her."

"Oh never mind that," Rukimu said with excitement. "I'll get her to fight with us. We just have to find her first. Then Enenra is mine."

Calla dropped back onto him once she was positive he was okay. "I love you." She sighed, resting her head against his chest. In the back of her mind she thought how uncomfortable he must be, with her pretty much sitting on him. She may have been a Tedlar Lady, but she was still a girl and the thought of having Daisetsu think she was fat raced around her mind. "And I'm sorry I jumped on you." She suddenly said, pulling back as she got off him and moved to sit on the couch. Her eyes never left him though, still worried that it was all a trick and in the next moment he'd be gone or she'd have a huge hole in her chest.

Even though they weren't married, and she was fairly positive Daisetsu didn't even think of her as a potential bride, but she thought of him like a husband. She was with him whenever she could be, which really wasn't often with his schedule. He would come back home every other day and they would talk but, it was really never more than a few hours she got to spend with him. It hurt to be away from him, and Calla had long since lost the capability to feel emotional pain. But he brought it back, somehow. He brought back everything, even the memories of her first and only other lover besides Daisetsu. At the thought of her deceased love she cringed, turning away quickly and hoping he hadn't seen.

She'd been younger then, maybe only a a hundred years old, and wasn't even near as powerful as she was now. She was working under another lady, who was much more powerful than Calla at the time. When the lady found out that Calla and one of the ladies servants had been.."fraternizing" with the help, well, she had him removed. This was half the reason she was so protective over her human and why she always worried about him so much. She despertly wished there was a way she could make him into something like her, give him her healing. She knew how to fight well enough, but so did he. Though she knew how he felt about the Tedlar, or really just how humans in general thought about the Tedlar. They were the "threats". The "bad" guys. And a lot of us didn't help prove that point wrong. Thus why we all have to live in hiding. Not that we could really roam around on earth without a body.

"So..when are you heading back to work?" She was used to this. The come home, nap, and leave. And it began to feel awkward being at his house all the time, she was sure he felt the same way. Perhaps she shouldn't come around so often, she had her own apartment on the other side of town. She didn't really wait for an answer as she got up, leaning down to give him a quick kiss. "I should go, let you rest." Her smile was sad as she straightened back up. "I'm sorry I barged in, I just thought-never mind." She shook her head, hand resting on his chair a second before she headed towards the exit of the room.

Otae opened his eyes the next morning, feeling somewhat empty. Like he was merely an shell of a body without a soul. Then suddenly all the memories came back to him in a flash, and he started hyperventilating. "T-theres no way that was real, right? Theres so such things as tedlars, right? Yeah. It was just a weird dream. Ahahaha!" He started speaking hysterically after his breathing had calmed, before breaking into a laugh.
'No such thing as tedlars? Don't be such a fool. Besides, its impossible for you to dream while I am around.' Otae stopped laughing immediatly after the oh-so-familiar voice spoke.
"No way... It wasn't a dream after all?" Otae sighed, seeming more dissapointed than he did surprised.
'Don't tell me you forgot about our deal, Otae. We need to gather over 1,000 Invento Hell to bring you back to life, remember?'
"I get it already. Just give me some time to process everything,... Er... What was your name again?" Otae asked.

'You are truly hopeless... My name in Enenra. Remember this time!' Enenra exclaimed, annoyed. "Ah, right. Enenra. So who exactly are these guys who are after you, anyway?" Otae asked. 'Those who are after me happen to be 3 of the 4 tedlar lords. Calla Tor of the East, Masae Tamura from the South, and Rukimu Crossfire of the West. She is by far the most dangerous of the three. They all have hundreds of servant under them who will also be attacking us. The one you killed last night was one of Masae's tedlars. She will most likely be the first tedlar lord we face, since we tedlar lords can sense when out servants die and who is responsible for their death.' Enenra explained. "3? What about the tedlar lord of the North?" Otae questione. 'Ah... Well. You see. The tedlar lord of the North is...' Enenra began, obviously hesitant to answer this question. "Well? Who is this North? Out with it already." Otae ordered, getting a little impatient. 'The the tedlar of the North is... me.' Enenra finished, awaiting Otae's response. "Oh? Is that it? To be truthful, I kind of guessed that was the case." Otae stated bluntly as he began putting on his informal-ware.
"Man. Weekends are the best!" He exclaimed. 'Does anything ever surprise you that doesn't involve mortal wounds?' Enenra asked.

"Hm? Not really. I just figured if I have to live with you living in my head for a while, I'll have to start getting used to unnatural things." Otae responded, heading into the bathroom and looking into the mirror, while readjusting his bedhead. 'Tedlars ussually don't reveal themselves in broad daylight, so I suppose we are safe for the time being. We should try and search for low-ranked tedlars or the weaker mid-level tedlars like Unis.' Enenma stated.
"Too troublesome. I don't have time to go around hunting your kind." Otae replied, grabbing his toothbrush and toothpaste. 'Is that so? Then what exactly do you plan on doing today? I wouldn't mind seeing how humans spend their everyday lives. I came her to experience it for myself afterall'
"Isn't that obvious?" Otae began before spitting out the tooth paste residue in the sink, then rinsing his mouth out with water. "I'm gonna pick up some chicks!" He exclaimed proudly. 'Pick up some chicks you say? What possible amusement could you derive from picking up prepubescent egglaying, fowls? They are quite loud, and irritating.' Enenra responded. Otae shook his head. Before grabbing his housekeys and walking out the front door. "You have absolutely no idea, Enenra."

Otae eyed ever girl he could lay his eyes on, wearing a serious expression as he sat upon the park bench.
'This atmosphere is so serious. Its as if you're stalking prey, rather than searching for a mate.' Enenra replied. 'Who said I was looking for a mate? Do you know how hard it is to find a girl who will sleep with you on a first date at my age? There are no decent girls around at the moment anyway.' Otae responded, making sure not to speak to Enenra out loud while he is in public. 'A date? What is that?' Last I heard it was some type of fruit. Why would you bed your female counterpart on top of a fruit? Enenra asked, innocently. 'Quit making humans seem so complicated... Hey Enenra. Earlier this morning you said that its impossible for me to dream. Is that the case with all humans who have tedlars inside them?' Otae asked. 'Well... Seeing as most humans who are inhabited by tedlars are unable to control their own bodies unless the tedlar permits them to, yes. But you can't dream because of me for a different reason.'
'Oh? What exactly would this reason be?' Otae asked, slightly interested.

'I possess an ability that no other tedlar has. I can consume dreams, nightmares, and anything involving spiritual energy in general.' Enenra explained.
'Seriously? How come no other tedlar can do that? What makes you so special?'
'I do not know that answer myself. I have been able to consume dreams ever since I can remember. They serve as somewhat of an replacement for Invento Hell for me. You see, Invento Hell is more than just the power we tedlars use to fight. It is our very essence. Our life source. To run out of Invento Hell means to die. Of course even with my dream eating ability, I will still die if I run out of Invento Hell. That is why I pressed you not to waste it when we were fighting Unis.'
'So that basically means that overusing your Invento Hell will kill you, and if you die then I die?' Otae asked.
'That is correct. This is also the reason I want you to kill weak tedlars so that we can get more Inveno Hell. We are not yet at a level to where we can take on the tedlar lords or even their high tedlar... Hey Otae. Are you listening?' Enenra asked, noticing that Otae had stopped paying attention.

"Shes got a nice body." Otae said aloud, while starring at a beautiful brunette who had just wandered into a small resteraunt. After a little bit a man also entered the resteraunt and approached her, appearing to be quite familiar with the woman. "Damn. Looks like shes already take." Otae commented, kind of dissapointed.
'Do you even realize how dire our situation is? How can you remain so calm?'
'Weren't you the one who told me to calm down earlier? Let me at least enjoy myself a little before you go on about killing tedlars and collecting Invento whatever.' Otae replied, arrogantly. 'They're called Invento Hell! And that was only because we would have been killed then if you had kept panicking!' Enenra yelled, feeling quite frusterated with Otae. Otae let out a laugh, before getting up off of the bench. 'Very well. Then why don't we start searching for these so-called weak tedlar?'

Masae knew it was time to find a body that she must inhabit. In her true from she hated; it never looked good enough for her taste so to say. Even though things were going well after the death of Mord she knew the others were not so well. She let out a sigh on her throne while Croe passed in front of her. He stopped and looked at her "My lady is it no time that you went and found a body for you?" He asked. She simply looked at him. "I suppose that you would be right." She got up and started to drag her feet and Croe just looked at her like she was dumb. She stopped and glanced at him from the side. She then began to glare at the poor soul who just looked at her. Croe realizing what he did start to walk in a hurried fashion to get out of the door. She then grabbed the back of his neck. "Is there a problem with the way I walk around my own palace?" She asked in a very stern voice. "N-n-no there is nothing wrong with it." Croe had said. She then lessened her grip and let him loose. "Good." she stated. "Now I am off to get me a body."

Once she had gotten to what she called the "Humans Domain" she had to cloak herself. She was not happy about being hidden from this world but for her own good it was the best choice. She was wondering around for a good long while before she had finally found a girl she thought was worthy to be her carrier. "Now then this could be fun." She said in a hushed tone. He chuckled and then touched the girl. The girl whipped around terrified "Wh- what do you want?" she asked. Masae chuckled "That would be simple. I what you." Her hand then jutted out and grabbed the girl by the face and let her own process begin to take her as a host. Masae shut her eyes and then opened them again just to she the rags that she was in fall to the ground. "This girl is a good one." she said in the girls voice. "Cute voice too." she then giggled. She now had lots of memories. "Well its a shame that I had to kill her but I guess that is how this works." She looked around to find out what was going on. Which turned out to be a fat lot of nothing. "Well I can stick around town for a bit and explore I guess I don't see the problem. I need a test run anyways."

Rukimu decided it was best that she gain as much Invento Hell before facing Calla Tor just in case the confrontation turned sour. She sent Ginta to gather more information regarding the Eastern Lady. The new body she possessed was beginning to tire despite her everlasting endurance. The body itself was in weaker shape then she had previously anticipated. After about one hour of wandering around the city, she rested on a park bench. The sky was showing signs of rain as the clouds rolled in, darkening as they passed. They swelled up and shifted as the wind moved west. Rukimu glared at the sky. Her favor did not rest in rain or becoming wet. She had no place of dwelling in this realm, nor had she instructed Ginta to provide her with one. Sighing at her ignorance, she stretched out. "Excuse me, miss?" a raspy male voice called from her right. Rukimu turned with an instinctive steel gaze and found a handsome man in his late twenties or early thirties staring at her. He wore casual jeans and a dark blue polo shirt with a black jacket. "Do you happen to know what time it is? My cellphone ran out of battery," he smiled innocently. Rukimu shed her sharp gaze and shifted to a look of innocence. "Time?" she smiled, "sure," she checked her phone as the man approached. She told him the time though she saw a shiny Rolex he was hiding under his jacket.

"Thank you," he said. "And I didn't catch your name." Rukimu smiled sweetly and noticed that no one was around them. She had not eaten yet and he looked like a strong man. A dead corpse similar to his own would give her a significant amount of Invento Hell and also serve as a delicious human meal. "Ruki Blu," she stood to greet him. The man was taller than she was, around 6'1" with slick black hair and a dentist worthy smile. "Miss Blu, my name is Kurt Lane," he said. "Are you busy? I would love to offer you something to eat," Again he flashed her a dazzling smile. Rukimu nearly gagged at the offer. Yet her face remained kind and willing. Innocent puppy eyes stared into Kurt's blue eyes. "Sure, I would like that," she said and began to walk with him.

Rukimu emerged from an alley. She dusted off her skinny jeans and fixed her long brown hair before blending in with the crowd. New energy surged through her body. Kurt Lane would be a shell of a man. His body shriveled, but recognizable, as if he were one hundred and three years old. "Let the local police get a load of that," she thought with a smirk. She hung around the crime scene a bit longer before she heard an elderly woman scream. "Call the police! Get Lieutenant Daisetsu Koudou! It's Dr. Lane! His body! Oh my god, he's dead!" A few more shrieks and mournful cries sounded and Rukimu left. Kurt Lane was a new doctor at a local hospital and the son of Jacob Lane, a world renown surgeon. He was well known amongst the townspeople. "Oops," Rukimu whispered as she walked north.

Turning a corner, she found a small candy shop with small children reeking havoc among the store owners. Their parents were no where to be found. Rukimu found it slightly annoying. She found a group of older human children which included the notorious player named Otae Takamiya. His body pulsed with supernatural aura. A child offered her candy and she gave the boy an evil glare. He ran away, shivering with fear. Before she would have to interact with more humans she turned the other corner, but not before giving Otae a long, curious and an unintentionally extreme flirtatious gaze. His aura was too strong to be that of a normal human. The energy that pulsed around him was calling to her. The Invento Hell she could gain from his corpse ran circles around her mind. She wanted it. Rukimu stood a couple of blocks from where the candy shop was and trying to track the boy's body. The supernatural elements in his body were too weak to be that of a high tedlar, let alone a Lord. She did not think Enenra's spirit would be so weak. Yet the aura did not seem hostile, almost subdued in a twisted sense. She thought it might be a mid-level tedlar. She would take one on easily and she wanted more Invento Hell. This body, she thought, would be perfect. If she could only get the young boy alone... He would end up just like Dr. Lane...

Daisetsu stood there watching Alisa as she sat down and began to speak, trying to hide his obvious shock. The first words out of her mouth were hardly what he had expected but it was not the first time she had said it nor was it a one sided feeling. He thought she was the most amazing woman in the world if not a bit mysterious at time and he couldn't ask for anything more even if he wanted to. What bothered him was the way she said it, like she'd been worried that something horrible had happened. With any luck, this latest case of the woman in the middle of the street had been caught by the public and her hearing of it caused her to panic. Of course she might have more to fear than she first thought. From the sound of the victim and an overall lack of witnesses or evidence so far, it may turn out to be one of -those- cases...

When she offered to let himself out, something in Setsu's heart yanked painfully at the thought of her leaving. As she turned to exit the room, he nearly jumped her as he grabbed hold of one of her hands as he shouted, "No!" A second went by before he realized how ridiculous his reaction was, his facing going red as he cleared his throat. "Sorry. I-I meant to say that... you don't have to go." He placed his other hand on top of hers as he gave her a meek smile. "The chief gave me - well, ordered me - a half a day to get some rest. I don't have to be back into the office until tomorrow afternoon. So you can stay... if you want to." Setsu didn't see her nearly as often as he wanted to with work and the last thing he needed was her to leave when he had so much free time. "I think spending some time with you would be very nice," he said before he reached around and planted one quick on her lips. He needed her right now and even if he wasn't so stressed, he'd simply want her to be there. It was greedy and stupid but he found it hard to care. She was one of the few things in the entire world he had left to truly cherish and he wasn't going to let go of it any time soon.

And just when everything was about to settle down, the phone rang. Daisetsu sighed as he let go of Alisa's hand, his fingers brushing her as he let go. "One second," he said, flashing her a bright smile before he turned and walked over to the end table by the couch and picked up the phone. "Lieutenant Koudou's residence, this is him speaking." The voice that came from the end was that of Patrolman Sai Hyogo. "We got another victim," the younger officer said, the sound of papers being flipped through being heard over the line. Setsu let out another irritable sigh, all joy ripped form his expression. 'Great, I'll probably have to head in again right away,' he thought bitterly before asking aloud,"Do we have any details?" "Um. Ya, hold on," Sai said as the sound of ruffling paper came through over the line. "One doctor... give me a second. Here it is. Dr. Kurt Lane. Twenty nine, employed at the Ruhana Hospital." This shocked Setsu. Kurt had been his own doctor, a good man if not something of a flirt. He promised time to grieve for him later as he shake his head and spoke clearly into the phone again. "Alright. I'll be at the station right away," he said in a steady, serious tone. Before he could hang up, Sai spoke up. "Oh, and lieutenant? It's another mysterious case. I'll let you see the body yourself, but..." The rookie went quiet for a moment before saying, "The chief thinks it and the other recent case may be... special cases. He wants to speak to you when you get here." Setsu was silent before he answered with a quiet, "Alright," before hanging up the phone. He began to straighten up his tie as he turned to Alisa, trying to keep a blank look on his face as he spoke to her. "Something has come up. I need to head back to the station right away."

'So... How exactly were we supposed to find these tedlars again, Enenra?' Otae asked after having had wandered around for about 5 minutes.
'You really don't listen, do you? Tedlar ussually don't reveal themselves in broad daylight. If we're going to catch one during the daytime, then we'll need to do it in a secluded area. At least somewhere where we won't be spotted. But then again, it also leaves us wide up for stronger tedlar to attack.' Enenra replied.
'Seriously? This really is more trouble than its worth.' Otae remarked. 'Is it worth more than your life? I would imagine so. Wouldn't you, Otae?'
'...Shut up. I don't wanna be outsmarted by some stu-'

"Yo, Takamiya!" Otae began before he was cut off by a male voice. It had come from Kitomaru, a fellow classmate of his. Kitomaru was with a few of Otae's other classmates, for some reason hanging around a candy shop. 'Some what now?' Enenra asked.
'Great. Just what do these guys want?' Otae sighed before walking towards the group. 'Hey! Don't ignore me! What were you about to say?!'
"So, Takamiya. Did you get Takizawa's digits? How far did you get with her?" One of the other classmates asked him chuckling.
"Ah, Takizawa. I got her mail, but I haven't really planed anything yet." Otae responded. "Huh? I figured a playboy like you would have already gotten in-"
"Please don't talk about me as if you actually know me. I assure you, I have a much more complex character than that." Otae responded, starring the boy right in the eye. "Now if you'll excuse me. I don't have time to waste on the likes of you." Otae said, walking past the group. He could have sworn he heard a couple of them cursing him behind his back.

'That was kind of cool, Otae.' Enenra complimented him, somewhat impressed. 'You think so? Try not to fall for me.' Otae replied with a chuckle.
'Why would I fall down for no good reason? Do you think I'm a cluts?' Enenra asked. '...You really need to update your knowledge of presentday termonology.' Otae stated, before he noticed someone starring at him. He turned to see the same woman from before was now standing not too far away, giving him the most seductive glare. 'Oh? Maybe she just dumped that guy from earlier. Lucky.' Otae thought to himself, forgetting that Enenra could read his thoughts.
'Although I'm not really sure what dumping someone means, I can tell that you are thinking of something unpure. Seriously, Otae.' Enenra lectured.
'Keep your opinions to yourself. I don't need you interfering with my love life.' Otae replied, beginning to make his way over to the woman.
Wait, Otae! I don't trust that woman... Something seems off about her. Enenra stated, noticing that the woman gave off an almost inhuman aura. He couldn't distinguish it very well, but just had a feeling. 'Why is that? You sure you're not just jealous?' Otae replied. 'Otae...'
'Fine, fine. If it makes you feel so uncomfortable, I'll let her go 'this' time.' Otae said, turning around and heading to wherever his legs took him.

After a little while Otae noticed another girl with long, black hair. The woman didn't seem much older than Otae, yet still had an air about her that made her seem dignified and mature. She was also quite the looker, and caught Otae's interest. 'What do you think, Enenra. She a tedlar?' Otae joked, while walking up to her.
'I don't know. But if you are going to approach her, then be careful.' Enenra responded, not noticing that Otae was being sarcastic.
"Hey there, miss. My named is Takamiya Otae. If I may ask, what would your name happen to be?" Otae asked the woman, before bowing liesurely in greeting. However, there was one thing that both Otae and Enenra failed to notice. This woman had a little bit of blood on her clothes.

Masae was just thinking to herself how she could try out her new body with out running up a reputation. "Hmmm what to start with." She said out loud and tapped her chin and looking up in the air. She smiled and looked up and took in a deep breath. She was just starting to think about what to do when she heard a voice confront her. "Hey there, miss. My named is Takamiya Otae. If I may ask, what would your name happen to be?" She turned to look at the man who had talked to her. When she turned to him she had this displeased look about her. She then changed her look after just a few second to that of a cute girl who was blushing from being talked to. She giggled. "Me." She pointed at herself. "I'm Tamura." She said and then put a finger on her lips. "If you are lucky you might learn my given name." After that she put her hands behind her back and thought. Well I guess this could be one way to test this out to see if I have these things down; Plus this guy is not half bad looking. She chuckled after that thought wondering what would be happening next on her little adventure.

A smile lit up her face as she felt his hand grab hers, and she turned back to face him. Gently biting her lip, she listened to him ramble on about how the chief had given him some rest time, too bad it was only half a day. "I had just figured, maybe you wanted some 'Daisetsu only" time." She teased, just about to say something else as she found his lips pressed against hers. The crimson was already rising in her cheeks when he pulled away, and she was about to sit back down when his phone rang. Dammit, she thought, already knowing it would be the station calling him back in. She sighed, following him and slumping down on the couch, a somewhat-pouty face growing. It made her feel bad, but she had to listen to his conversation. The woman that James had told her about earlier..well that wasn't a wound a human could inflict.

Sometimes being a Tedlar can come in handy. Or, at least being her can come in handy.

It wasn't difficult to hear the conversation, and she almost snickered as she heard the almost constant shuffling of papers. But all the amusement drained from her mind as she heard more details, she had to cover her sharp intake of breath with a cough. "You have to leave?" Calla sighed, eyes cast downwards. "Be careful," Rising from the couch, she reached to give him a quick kiss. "-I'll miss you." She would miss him, but she also didn't plan on being very far away from him tonight. As soon as he left, she was going to the body.

She walked with him to the door. "Are you sure you have to go?" She knew she couldn't get him to stay, but she wished she could. If he was with her then she would be able to protect him so much better, but she knew he didn't really need her protection. Though looking at him now, she realized something. There was nothing else that she could ever love as much as him, and she made up her mind. After she saw the body, she was going to find North.

Rukimu drummed her fingers on her pant leg in annoyance as the human's aura disappeared. Licking her lips, she could feel the hunger growling in the pit of her stomach. Her dainty brown eyes had shifted to a pale green from the step up in interest in the human boy. Specks of a deep blue, signalling hostility and anger, appeared in her eyes as the sky continued to darken into rain clouds above her. The hunger was too much and she charged in the direction where she last felt Otae's presence. Her pale green eyes now shifting to a complete navy blue. The flames around her feet, invisible to regular human eyes, rose to grow above her knees. The thought of letting prey slip out of her hands made her feel insulted. Now, she was out for revenge and also to feed the demon hunger that burned inside of her.

Infuriated and paying no attention to her surroundings, the Queen failed to notice that she had taken a short cut into a dark back alley. Rukimu had entered the poorer part of the town unknowingly and also the area with a higher crime rate. It was closed off by a tall metal gate in the center and a garbage disposal crate. The smell went up her nose and she gagged at the scent. "Humans are repulsive," she spat and glared at the black bags filled with trash. A rat scurried past her feet and she burned its body with the bright blue flames around her ankles with a 1 degree shift of her left foot. "Human pest," she growled.

Turning around to exit the way she came because her path was blocked, Rukimu found herself faced with three large men all eyeing her like a piece of meat. Rukimu rolled her eyes. Human males were attractive sometimes, like Kurt Lane, but these men were disgusting. No one needed to be a mind reader to know the sick intentions that rode around in their twisted brains. Rukimu would admit, her brain was twisted and sick too, but she would never allow herself to be put into the same category as lifeless, pathetic males such as the ones she faced. "Hey cutie," the one in the middle with ugly teeth bellowed. "Got a name?" The two that flanked him laughed as they slowly came forward. She honestly did not want to use up her Invento Hell on them, but they would provide her with decent Invento Hell. Possibly more than Kurt Lane. Now she was only after the energy, the food aspect was long gone with the smell of sewage and the visual of their unshaven, mucky faces. "Crossfire," she hissed and stepped forward.

Stretching her arms out, she froze the two men in place approaching her and ran forward. She jumped and push kicked the large man in the chest and flipped backwards in the air landing in front of him. Her blue eyes twinkled as she lit him up with her blue flames. He could not see the fire, but he certainly felt it. The sensation was more than just burning, it was like fire on an open wound with a never ending rain of acid and poison. She watched his eyes roll inside out and his once strong body falling like a fragile deck of cards under him. She hovered her hands above his head and absorbed his energy. Smiling as she did so, he feel back with a blow of air from her lips.

Making quick work of the other two, she unfroze them at the same time and stood behind them. She turned the lights out on the man to her right with a solid fist and a right leg side kick to his nose. Rukimu then grabbed the top of his head and side of his face and twisted sharply, snapping the neck. His dead weight dropped to the floor. She placed both palms on top of his chest and erupted with chills of adrenaline as the Invento Hell rushed into her body.

The last man stood frozen in fear in the corner. Rukimu rushed forward and jumped so that she was above him. With her right hand, she shifted all her weight into her fist and slammed down a hammer fist on top of his bald skull. Snapping his neck the same as the last one, she completed killing all three men. Exhilarated, her heart pounded and her blue eyes dulled to a paler blue, meaning evil joy. It only appeared when she made an invigorating kill, or several kills. Laughter erupted from her body as she tried to sneak out of the alley without being seen. Luckily the sky was darkening. And then it began to rain.

Daisetsu felt the usual weight in chest that decided to burden him when he had to leave Alisa. He'd barely even had a minute with her and he was already having to go and most likely spend another all-nighter or two. It was never easy to leave, especially when she gave him that face but he had no choice. The only thing that stopped him from grabbing her and holding her tight as he promised to stay with her is that he wanted to keep her safe and he was no good keeping the streets clean if he spent all of his time lounging about, especially with what he knew could be out there at the very moment. He had to leave for her sake, no if, ands or buts. Or at least that is what he thought.

Setsu answered her question as they reached the front door, speaking with a blank expression as he pulled his jacket on. "You know I can't stay, Alisa. The chief called me back in himself and if he's going back on his order to send me home then something big is going down." He pulled his hat off the hook and slipped it on his head as he continued. "If you can, please stay here. Right now there's a good chance that we have a killer on the street and it may not even be safe getting around by car. I want you to lock the door, check the windows and if anything happens, I have a spare revolver locked up in the pantry, key is under the kitchen mat." He placed his hands on her shoulders as he looked straight into her two shining golden eyes that he loved so much.

"Don't worry about me," he said as he gave her what he could only hope was a comforting smile as he tried to wipe the gloom that was clouding his mind. "I'll be fine, just like I always am. And I'll be back before you even know it." He then leaned in and planted one long kiss on her lips, pulling back as a few seconds ticked by before he whispered to her, "I'll always come back as long as I have something to return to." With one last kiss on her cheek, he bid farewell as he went out the door, raindrops falling atop his hat as droplets quickly poured over the brim. Setsu sighed sadly as he got to his car. "Ah, great," he mumbled as he got into the driver seat and started up the engine. "Bad weather. And it looks like it's only going to get worse." He adjusted his hat as he squinted through the windshield at the darkening clouds that began to gather. "Look's like a storm is coming..." With that one last morbid thought, he shifted into drive and headed off towards the station.

The girl was obviously deep in thought before Otae had confronted her. Once she took notice of him, he had already repositioned himself, probably meaning she missed his bow. Minor setback in showing off his gentleman qualities. Otae was surprised with the complete and utter look of disgust she gave him, and almost wondered if he should just let this one go as well. Then the girl spontaneously reverted back to a cute girl almost instantly. She even began giggling.
'That was a little strange...' Otae thought.
"Me. I'm Tamura. If you are lucky you might learn my given name." The girl said as she pointed to herself. The mature, adult-like vibe she gave of earlier had completely deminished. Now she was acting like a cute, flirtatious highschool girl.
'What do you mean? She seems fairly normal to me, Otae. Although her last name does trouble me a little...' Enenra replied, even though Otae having not really been listening, didn't know why her last name worried Enenra.

Otae quickly looked back to see if the seductive woman from earlier was behind him. 'Huh. Guess she wasn't following me afterall. I could have sworn...' Otae thought.
He then quickly turned back to Tamura and smiled. "Well, Tamura-chan. I do hope that I get the luxury of learning your first name. I'm sure that it is a beautiful one at that." Otae responded, suavely. Just before Otae was about to ask Tamura if she wanted to go on a date with him, he was interupted by Enenra.
'Otae... Something doesn't feel right all of a sudden...'
'Oh please. Are you sure you're not just getting jealous?' Otae replied, not taking Enenra seriously.

All of a sudden an immense hostile energy surged through Otae's body. "W-what the hell? Enenra. Are you doing this?" Otae asked outloud in a panick.
'Fool! Don't say my name out loud! Anyway, we have to run now. A powerful tedlar has sensed us and isn't bothering to hide their power... I think it may be a tedlar lord.' Enenra replied. 'Sorry... S-seriously?! Shit!' Otae exclaimed in his head before grabbing Tamura's hand and rushing foward at top speed. He didn't care where he was going, as long as he was getting away from whatever was chasing him. 'Why are you taking her with us?! You're only endangering this girl's life by doing that!'
Enenra exclaimed. Otae looked back at her with his eyes while he was still running. He hadn't even noticed that he had snagged her. 'Damn it. Well its too late now...'
"S-sorry. But I need you to come with me real quick. Theres a dangerous person after me at the moment." Otae explained to her, as his breath began to grow heavy.

After a little while longer Otae stopped to catch his breath. 'Just give me a few seconds Enenra. I just need to rest a little.' Otae said.
'Its ok Otae. I think that the hostile figure is gone for now. We should be safe for the moment. But... What is a tedlar lord doing here? Its been forever since I've last met the other tedlar lords. Has their power really grown that much since then? Enenra replied, adding in his own thoughts.
'Wait. So you're telling me that the tedlar lords have gotten stronger than when you last saw them? When was that exactly?' Otae asked.
'Around... 280 years ago. We ussually keep to ourselves for the most part. It is on rare occasions that we ever meet up.' Enenra replied.
Otae stopped catching his breath and turned to see how Tamura was doing. He didn't exactly recall her gasping for air like he did, but then again he wasn't paying attention to her at the time either. "Um... Everything is ok now. We're safe." Otae told her.
'What do you mean we? What motive did you have to bring this girl along anyway? Enenra asked. Otae decided to ignore that question.
"Again. Sorry about all of that. I guess there isn't much hope on you going on a date with me now, huh?" Otae asked while trying to play the embarrassed, insecure, shy boy act while scratching his cheek nervously.

Masae was having fun with the boy when something odd started to happen. She felt some power rise and the name "Enenra" was stated. She felt like that name should have triggered something. But she then let it go and tried to find out where the power was coming from but that could mean exposing herself to find it but she would keep it hidden. The boy then grabbed her hand and started to run. When he has explained that someone dangerous was after him. 'So that could be the power i felt then.' she thought to herself. "Okay." she said a little quietly. After cutting a few corners they had finally come to a stop. He let go and started to breath heavily. The boy then apologized again and mentioned something about a date.

Masae then remembering that she was suppose to be a human doubled over and started to breath heavily. She stood up straight after a minute or so and said. "Well I think you might have a chance. That was the first time I have ever been whisked away before and it was kinda fun." She then smiled and patted him on the shoulder. "But the next time you wish to go on a run you should let me know so I can wear the right clothing." She then laughed. "Well now where to?"

Rukimu stood under a beam and hissed for Ginta. Her eyes were still dark blue, but this time her primary emotion was of annoyance and irritation. Ginta appeared within the minute and his eyes were joyous at first, but one look at the rainy conditions made his face drop to apologetic. "My Queen," he said sharply. One fierce glance from those ocean blue eyes made him shut his mouth. He could perform various spells to teleport quite easily on his own, but to carry a passenger was more work. Nonetheless, he could not deny his Queen his services, unless he wanted to be terminated. He teleported them to a small motel and checked in. He allowed Rukimu her own room.

"Find me new clothing," she growled walking into the more or less shabby unit. The floor was cheaply carpeted, but for once she didn't care about luxury. The wet clothing stuck to her body and she felt as if she was rolling in pig fat and had allowed insects to embrace her. The feeling was itching, uncomfortable, and disgusting. "Now!" she yelled, pondering whether to yell at him as well for providing her with a cheap place to stay. In reality, the unit was not cheap at all. It was a moderate living space with two full sized beds and clean white and brown sheets and blankets. A small television was set up opposite of the bed which had two fine working lamps by each bed side. The bathroom was fresh scented like roses and stocked with towels, shampoo, soap, and the whole lot of human essentials.

"Here, my eternal empress," he bowed and offered her two large shopping bags. It contained a blue pajama set and two outdoor clothes: two skinny jeans, one black and one a dark blue; three blouses; a regular blue tee; five pairs of socks; black sneakers; dark brown boots; and white sandals. He even remembered to pack her undergarments. Rukimu peered into the bags and was honestly impressed that he had brought her so much. An umbrella hid at the bottom of the second bag along with a large swiss army knife. "You may leave me now, Ginta," she ordered. He stood and pleaded into her eyes. He wanted to know why her energy level spiked so high before he met up with her. He had thought she had made a successful kill, which was spot on, yet she was behaving as if she had lost something. It was more because of the rain now. Rukimu didn't care about Otae anymore, or at least for the time being. "Later," she said softly, but firmly. "I want you to find Calla Tor in twenty four hours. I want you to do it so I don't have to get a tracker tedlar on her. Hurry. I wish to have a little fun with the local police. Maybe I can gather information regarding the original case where Enenra was involved. Sniffing him out isn't working. Maybe the humans can find him," she started to take off her clothes. Ginta quickly vanished. Rukimu looked into the mirror in the bathroom. "Beauty is power," she whispered. "And power is everything."

After an hour of plotting and calming herself down, Rukimu's eyes finally returned to a neutral brown. She left the motel, holding her umbrella to keep her from getting wet. She walked towards where she believed was the local police station and asked around about them. The locals seem to be worried about the deaths, but still foggy on details. Rumors are going around that its a serial killer, others say its aliens. Ruki pretended to be surprised and all. After about twenty minutes, she isolated a young woman around the age of thirty. Making sure there were no witnesses, she quickly stabbed the woman in the back and used her powers to imitate the wounds of the first victim of the unusual attacks. The victim that used to be Enenra's vortex. She burned the knife and got a little blood on her shirt. Screaming she ran into the police station. "Help! Help! A woman just got stabbed by a man in the alley! I think she's dead! Help! Please!"
