"Down here, it's kill or BE killed."

Long ago, two races ruled over the Earth as equals: humans and monsters. One day, a war broke out between them and after a long series of battles, the humans were victorious. The greatest of their magicians sealed the monsters to the Underground with a magic barrier, while the humans took control of the surface. However, the barrier is not a perfect seal, and the only point of entrance to the Underground is Mount Ebott. One day, a human child jumped down into the underground from Mt. Ebott. The prince, Asriel Dreemurr, found them. He quickly took the child home to King Asgore Dreemurr and Queen Toriel Dreemurr. They cared for the human child, and they had a good life together. Until the fallen human fell gravely ill requested to see the Golden Flowers of their home village once more. But because no one could cross the barrier, the request could not be fulfilled. They died the next day, and Asriel, wracked with grief, absorbed their soul and became powerful enough to cross the barrier. He took their body and carried it to a bed of flowers in the center of their village. The villagers, believing Asriel had killed the human, began attacking him with everything they had. Although he had the power to destroy them all, he did not fight back; he smiled and carried the human back to the castle of New Home, where he himself died from his wounds.

What's Happened So Far:
Many years later, Frisk, another human child, falls into the Underground. They soon encounter Flowey, a sentient flower who attempts to kill Frisk for his own amusement. Flowey is stopped by a motherly monster named Toriel, who teaches the child how to solve puzzles and survive conflict in the Underground. Toriel attempts to keep and protect Frisk, but Frisk fights for their freedom and convinces Toriel to let them leave her home. Frisk ventures through the Underground in order to reach the Barrier located in the castle of Asgore Dreemurr, the king of the monsters. They learn that the king needs seven human souls to destroy the Barrier and free the monsters - of which he has six. Among the monsters that the player encounters are Sans, a wisecracking and slothful skeleton; Papyrus, Sans' enthusiastic yet incompetent brother; Undyne, the boisterous head of the royal guard; Alphys, the kingdom's reclusive royal scientist; and Mettaton, a robot with dreams of super-stardom. Frisk fought many monsters, even killed a few. Getting to the Barrier, they fight the reluctant Asgore Dreemurr. Flowey appeared, however, and finished off the King himself. He absorbed the 6 souls and combined with his own, he became a terrifying monster. Flowey's Determination begins overriding Frisk's, allowing him once again to manipulate the world, its data, and its timelines. After opening this 'SAVE', Flowey has permanently deleted Frisk's SAVE file. He wanted to absorb Frisk's SOUL and becomes godlike, then teach monsters, humans, and everyone else the "true meaning of this world": kill or be killed. A battle began with Flowey, who had taken on a terrifying visage: a grotesque flower-shaped hybrid of plant tissue. Frisk won, and spared Flowey. Flowey was confused as to why they were nice to him and gave Frisk several opportunities to change their mind, telling them that he hasn't changed at all and will kill them and everyone they love if he is allowed to survive.

This will take place after a 'Neutral' run of the game. Frisk has escaped into the human world again. They did not free the monsters and King Asgore was killed in the process of their escape. Flowey was spared. Toriel is the Queen, and instated a rule in which humans are seen as friends and not enemies.

1. Hiya, this is a super chill RP. As long as you use full sentences and grammar, it doesn't matter how much you write.
2. PG 13 please, but romance is totally cool (especially if I ship it that's sooooo okay.)
3. Permission to kill/maim required by character's owner.
4. You don't have to, but it would be a really good idea if you read up on the Undertale wiki if you haven't played the game.
5. You HAVE to read your own character's wiki (because some like Alphys and Sans have secrets you need to know if you're going to RP them properly.)

It was a particularly boring day at Sans' sentry station in Snowdin Falls. After the fall of Asgore, everything went quiet. No-one knew what to do. The monsters just meandered around. Toriel, the sweetheart, really tried. But it hadn't been the same. Sans had heard she ordered the destruction of every golden flower from the Ruins to New Home, and honestly? He didn't blame her. Losing Asriel so long ago had been one thing, but losing Asgore too? Sure, she hated the guy's guts and way of dealing with things but deep down the loss struck a chord within her. And so there aren't many flowers in the Underground anymore, no more signs of Asgore or Chara. The reign of Toriel had begun, but the monsters just couldn't find the DETERMINATION to carry on.

Sans sat back in his chair, flicked a little snow off of the front desk and twiddled his bony little thumbs.

Re: After Undertale

I am so so so sorry I didn't reply, my internet was basically completely taken away for a long time! If you guys want to RP this and everything's good, lets do it.

Sovenric, take Napstablook! That sounds like such an adorable story arc and I actually look forward to (if we RP this at all, again I'm so so sorry) how that plays out. Any characters wanted can be taken at this point, or I'll try and fill in for them (MORE APOLOGIES I'M REALLY SORRY)

Re: After Undertale

May I join this RP? Napstablook would be a fine character to play, and as long as that ghost's still free I'm going to be motivated to ask to play as the depressed music-mixing ghost... hehe; ok.

I feel he could have a good arc after the game about making his old songs better or developing new songs for the underground yay! It's already proven that he's made the song "Spider Dance" and there's alot of potential for interaction with Mettaton; Blook starting to improve his courier by plucking the courage to ask people to freely contact him for sound design. And him slowly turning his "feeling like garbage" into euphoriac art.

Yes so that is my manifesto? I hope; I'd like to join but I thought I would ask, first
