During her adolescent years, Aeronwen's personality was a product of her unusual upbringing. Being a witch, a monster as children she met normally called her, she had to fight off people trying to kill her and her own family, resulting in her considerably aggressive nature and willingness to solve problems with force. She was also protective of her secrets, and constantly lied to her friends out of fear. For the most part, Aeronwen is a very passionate and opinionated girl. Always ready with a witty and biting remark, she is intent on proving herself to anyone who questions her. Aeronwen conceals her defensive nature with an aggressive attitude, exhibiting a wild temperament that is apparent when people argue or belittle her. She readily involves herself in confrontations with little to no hesitance.

{ Familiar }

Animal - Bengal Tiger

Name - Paschar

"The day I met Paschar is a day I'll remember till I die. We had taken a trip to India, to train with some of mother's friends that knew about our magical powers. None were like me, having psychic powers but most did have powers that had to do with elemental things that my sister excels at. I often spent my time away from the others, breaking the rules because they didn't help me much. My mother understood so I often didn't get in trouble with her but my sister sometimes scolded me for missing the lesson. One day I skipped class, as was the norm, and I found a cub. One thing was that this cub wasn't moving. I walked over to the small non-moving body to see that the young cub had a metal rope around his leg that was connected to a nearby tree. The little cub had been trapped and hadn't been able to get food. I found myself using telekinesis to move the metal rope away from the young cub. When it moved away, I struggled to pick the cub up but I didn't want to use my telekinesis for fear I would frighten the thing. The first thing I did was run to my mother. Naturally for children, their first resort is their mum and mine was no different. She said I had saved it just in time and soon the young cub had come back to health after eating. Unknowingly to myself, it seemed that the cub had a gash on it's side as well and about an hour after I had been with it, it had closed and nearly healed. My mum knew nothing of the power I had discovered and only few people were born with this power. She explained that I healed this cub because I cared for it. I had no idea how to control my new power and I still don't know very well. It just happens when someone I care for is hurt. 'You have found your familiar and he will stay with you forever.' I didn't understand much but I had heard from Evanne that Nehgross was her familiar. I later found out that Paschar was a hidden wizard who served as a queen's adviser when he was living."

{ History }

"I had a happy childhood considering. It wasn't the powers, the strange guests moving in and out of our home in downtown New Orleans, but I knew there was something different. Something was odd, as if I didn't belong. I was tall and tan with hair black as night, while my mother was blonde and my father and sister had flame red hair. I was the only elemental, the quiet, reserved one." Evanne began.
Image
"I was the rule breaker. I mad things spicy in the Jeansonne house. Spicy in a completely true way. I once even put spicy powder in mum's meals and everyone's mouths were burning for a week. It was funny but I did get in a little trouble. Anyway, Evanne and myself were polar opposites. I was firey and dependent on her while she was solitary and could survive without me." Aeronwen interrupted.
Image
Evanne had to force herself not to openly roll her eyes at her sister. "She was so INFURIATING growing up. Always with the jokes and pranks. You never had a moments peace," she looked to her sister,"but that's just who Aero is. She passionate and mischievous and she's my sister. I wouldn't have her any other way." She looked down slightly and then back up. "I remember when my mother, our mother, sat me down and told me who I was, who my father was. In a way, it was a relief to finally know why I felt this way. My father, my real father, was or is a shaman or medicine man for a small indigenous tribe in the low wetlands of Louisiana." Evanne chuckled lightly."Sometimes when I think of him, I picture him with my scowl and maybe he even crosses his arms when he's annoyed like me."

"I had a hard time believing my sister when she explained to me that she wasn't my sister. I wasn't the brightest as a child but I slowly began to understand that she was my sister but she was my half-sister. I had blazing red hair like my father who once lived in Ireland but then moved to Louisiana on a business trip." Aeronwen fiddled with her thumbs slightly. "I didn't like to know how my mum met my father so that's basically still a mystery to me but the way they separated was no mystery."

"I remember when we got older, my mother saying to me in passing conversation on the topic of men, that 'Love, ma cher, is more often than not, a fleeting thing. You enjoy it while it's with you, and when the wind sweeps it away, you wait for the next to come along.' Now by this time I knew my mother too well to believe a word of what she said, she was hurt. She explained to me so briefly about why she and my father split. It had something to do with his tribe. She was a demon to them, cast aside as if she wasn't one of the last rays on sunlight on Earth. As for Aero's father, he was not forced. I'm just glad we were slightly older when it happened. At least by that time we knew how to grieve."

Aeronwen grasped Evanne's hand. "The memory is still painful. I was only 8 years old and Evanne was 10. The people in the town had their rumors and one day, our family had gone on a picnic. We were a great little family. Two beautiful daughters, a mum and a proud father that would do anything for his family." Aero took a deep breath. "Our family bond was tested that day and one was broken that led to the death of my father and the beginning of our travels around the world. Those townspeople were murderers and they should pay but mum would tell me to forgive and never forget."

Evanne squeezed the hand of her sister. "For a long time after the incident, I found myself falling into the role of mother. Our mother felt everything, down to a cellular level. When her love died in front of her eyes and in front of the eyes of their children, she was devastated and it effected her to a point where she left us, never physically, but mentally. She preformed her job and fed us, but the light in her eyes was gone and wouldn't be back for quite sometime. So I tried to be that emotional comfort for Aero. I grieved on my own time and kissed her scraped knees and helped her with her homework. It was a very precious time in my life."

"Precious to both of us but eventually she left us completely. This didn't break us harshly though. We knew she would never be the same and using the money that my father and mum left us, we founded the Alaiden Home for the Supernatural. Alaiden after our mum. Someone who hoped for peace for all species. We want to fulfill that wish."

So begins...

ImageAeronwen gazed out the large window in the garden room. She was an early riser and normally up before any of the other beings that took refuge in the house that she and her sister had set up. She sipped a little of green tea as Paschar then came and stood beside her beginning to talk to her. "Well young lady, today is a new day and there are things you must do. What will you do first?" She shook her head then took another sip of tea. "I don't know Paschar. What do you suggest I do?" She inquired then stiffened when she heard someone coming from behind. She turned then her expression lightened. "Good morning. Sleep well?"

[ OOC: I left it open for anyone. Basically it's just another day and we will begin with waking up and such. ]

Natalya felt the sun glare on her face. Grumbling, she sat up and opened her eyes. Not a good idea. The window was right in front of her, and the sun had just come up. Now in pain, Natalya fell out of bed before attempting to stand up, this time succeeding. In a daze, she threw on some shorts that had popsicles all over them and a thick fluffy sweatshirt. She stretched her arms, legs, and back before heading out her door and exploring the Home.

She had only been here for a few days, so a self-guided tour was definitely in order. She walked up and down the different hallways, changing her appearance each time. In one hallway she would be a redhead, in the next, a cat. She mixed it up, never opening doors, preferring to shrink down to the size of an ant to peer under doorways so that she wouldn't disturb anybody who was sleeping. Once she made it to a room that seemed to put life into the air, she changed back in to herself and opened the door, not sure what she was expecting.

She pushed open the door to see Aeronwen drinking tea. Natalya had talked to her once since her arrival, and could never pronounce her name correctly. "Morning, Aero-Do you mind if I call you that?- I slept very well. You?" Natalya asked the sweet girl sitting in front of her.

Arturo growl deeply as he rose out of his chair, in which he had spent most of the night and a portion of the early morning. Having dozed of briefly for an hour or two he felt rested enough for the day ahead of him. Putting his book back he rubbed his eyes slowly his sight greeted by his other half, his fingers tracing over the deep scratch marks along the walls. Signs of many nightmares hitting him hard.

His dark formed smirked and spoke, his voice deep like thunder.

"un altro pup insonne notte?"
(Another sleepless night pup?)

Arturo growled deeply looking to the floor before replying.
"Naturalmente, solo brutti ricordi"
(Of course, Just bad memories)

" of course" he mumbled to himself picking up a button shirt and slipping it on leaving the buttons open, running his hands through his hair he huffed out a long breath. Thinking about the day ahead he opened his door, watching the corridor carefully he stepped out closing the door behind him and walking down the corridor. Yet again the voice in the back of his head felt the need to push him this morning.

"Brutti ricordi, decisioni sbagliate, zucchero ricoprirlo tutto gradite. si รจ ancora bloccato con la consapevolezza che la tua vita e sono morti."
(Bad memories, bad decisions, sugar coat it all you like. you are still stuck with the knowledge that your alive and they are dead.)

Arturo growled loudly lashing his fist out at the identical form of himself. But his fist passed through smashing the wall behind the form. Grunting loudly he held his fist tightly as it healed back to normal. Walking into the kitchen Arturo kept his eyes on the floor as he picked up some fruit for his breakfast as well as a few slices of bread for him to chew on. Pouring a glass of water he sat down his eyes still on the floor as he ate slowly.

XiaJin

ImageXiaJin's eyes sprang open as she awoke from another dreamless sleep with the sound of a bang from seemingly a few halls down. She sat up and remember she was not in fact in a bottle but instead on a soft bed, covered in warm comforter. She yawned and threw her Tinkerbell pajama covered legs on the floor, adjusted her matching tank top and stretched.

It felt good to be out, even though she wasn't free. Her master was only on his first wish and his wish was here. To be somewhere safe. To her surprise, they found themselves in this place, filled with creatures like them.

Well more or less.

After a wash and brush, she kept her pajamas on as they were comfortable, and matched her perfectly cropped blue bob of hair and shuffled into the Kitchen were a few had already gathered.
"Ahh, Morning," She offered with a yawn and a stretch, before grabbing and then peeling an orange. She rose a slice to her full lips, her eyes darted around the room with a sleepy gaze. Aeronwen seemed to be in a pleasant mood, Kandyl, whose name she thought was interesting seemed fine, Natayla stroke up an conversation with Aeronwen, and Arturo seemed to be having it rough. No pun intended.

She turned to Arturo.

"Was that you who made that loud bang. Scared the hell out of me." She commented, Xiajin was always good for a conversation, whether you wanted it or not. "Not that I minded, I probably would have slept in if you hadn't." she said, popping another slice of orange into her mouth.

In the attic of that large estate, a white lion was harumphing at a pile of pillows and blankets located in the center of the room. He paced back and forth, his voice exceeding any kind of tone that should be spoken inside. At this point it was almost 7 a.m. and Nehgross be damned is she was emerging that early.
"Get up, Evanne."
"No."She just buries herself lower into the blankets atop her large bed.
"GET UP now. You need to practice this Evvy. And if you don't pull your narrow behind out of that bed I will pull you out of there MYSELF.
Evanne merely ignored him until a massive weight plunged itself under the covers, shaking the floor, and pulled her out forcefully. She gave a small yelp as she hit the floor without much grace and glared daggers at the lion now lying on her bed. He looked down awful pleased with himself. He crossed one paw over the other and quirked a barely existent brow.
"Begin"
Evanne grumbled nonsensically and stood, wearing nothing but a pair of black shorts and tank top. Her wavy hair looked slightly more "lived in" than she would normally prefer.
She closed her eyes and tilted her head back. Suddenly, her eyes were colored black, and her body went rigid. She had no idea why it took so much energy for her to accomplish it, but it was evident how out of control she was. Her breathing began to quicken as it started from the tattoos at her fingertips and toes. The cold metal slid over her skin and began to travel up her limbs.
Image
Evanne winced as it reached towards her abdomen and chest, "Nehgross"...
"Calm yourself dear."
Evanne fell to her knees as the the tattoos of her body almost reached out and poured metal all over her abdomen and chest. Once her torso was completely covered, the metal slowly inched it's way up her neck, her breathing became erratic as it slid over her cheeks. It wasn't painful, but the feeling of being completely encased was a feeling she could never accurately describe. Finally, the metal ceased to grow as it covered her eyes. The mirrored surface reflected everything in sight, including Nehgross' smirk.
"Very Good my dear, very good indeed."
Evanne breathed deep as the air rushed into her lungs, and stood. Her skin felt tingly, as if it were asleep. But the only thing that was on her mind now was hunger. Usually she would wait until the metal had slid back into her skin from whence it came, but she was feeling uncharacteristically famished, considering she constantly ate. She opened her door and Nehgross soon followed. As she made her way down the stair, the metal on her feet made clinking noises on the wood. Soon enough she was in the kitchen in all of her metallic glory, already smelling the teas and fruits that made her mouth water, but this morning she, like her companion, was a carnivore. She glanced at the surrounding dining room and wondered where the other inhabitants were, especially her sister, before entering the kitchen, the dragon eating some salami at the entrance. She inclined her head slightly and walked past him. Since she can feel nothing past the metal, she may or may not have bumped his arm, so she gave a small "Excuse me." anyway.
As she entered the large glass paneled kitchen, she went straight to the meat locker and grabbed Nehgross a fresh steak. He quickly devoured it after she tossed it his way and grabbed some bacon for herself. She stepped up to the stove and turned it on, greasing her pan. As the sun light shone through the large glass panels, the metal began to slide to its proper place within her tattoos. By the time it had completely dissipated, she was sitting at the small breakfast table enjoying her bacon and chocolate milk.

ImageAeronwen smiled at Natalya as she entered. Paschar curled himself onto the couch and Aero sat right beside him. "I slept very well." She replied then Paschar laughed at her because he could see straight through her lie. Truthfully, she hadn't slept at all that night and she had just stayed in the garden room looking out at the distance. She didn't know why but she felt something horrible coming. "So how do you like it here?" She made it her job to make sue everyone was comfortable and happy here, just like her mother wanted for her and her sister.

Natalya smiled at Aeronwen, responding, "I like it a lot. It's peaceful, and I can change forms randomly without screaming." To prove her point, Natalya jokingly grew a unicorn horn. She winced slightly as the horn broke through her skin. Changing always hurt, even when you've done it a million times.

Continuing, she followed up with, "But when and how did you start this place? It's wonderful." Natalya truly did want to know how this place existed, and why nobody ever bothered inspecting it. It gave Natalya a sense of relief, knowing that no humans were going to find her.

Arturo looked briefly at XaiJin as she commented about his physical outburst earlier this morning, he gave a glance behind her as Thea, Lazarus, Alexander and Evanne entered in close spaces of time with each other. Did know one sleep in this house? There was certainly a large group of supernaturals who had trouble sleeping.

His gaze then fixed on his other form walking among the others in the kitchen area, his face full of hate and disgust for every single one of them. He looked at Arturo with malice as a knife manifested in his hands, he then began to stab and slice at the individuals in the room blood seeping like black treacle out of the lacerations. Of course none of this was real it was just a projection in his mind that was often replayed in his mind, like a form of toture.

Arturo looked away quickly, but the harsh whisper in his ear stuck in his mind.

"sangue ottenuto nella morte e sangue perso nella vita"
(Blood gained in death and blood lost in life)

Arturo stood up quickly, his elongated nails scrapping on the wood leaving marks in the grain. Leaving the kitchen he walked quickly exiting out of the nearest door into the garden. He breathed deeply relaxing himself his nails shortening back to original length, he walked for a while before sitting down on the cool grass.

Natalya McVannah

Natalya gave Aeronwen a smile before making the unicorn horn disappear. Okay, that's enough embarrassing yourself for today, Natalya thought, a bit shy. She stood up, her hair hanging down her back in ugly knots. She closed her eyes and concentrated, and when she opened her eyes, her hair was back in its naturally wavy state. She gave a little smirk, proud of herself for not miserably failing, and strolled over the fridge. With arms swinging casually by her sides, she reached in and grabbed a pear, biting into it the second the fridge door was shut. She leaned against the counter across from the fridge, relaxing a bit. Or at least trying to. The scratch marks were a bit uncomfortable for her tastes.

When she finished, she strode out of the kitchen and up to her room, changing into her clothes and grabbing a book. She walked outside, and sat under a big tree, snuggling into it, attempting to get comfortable (and failing miserably). She instead opted for laying near the tree, and began to lose herself in a world of monsters and heroes and true love.

ImageAeronwen giggled lightly when the young girl made herself have a unicorn horn. She stifled her laughter and before the girl could make it out of the room, she called after her. "Have a nice day!" She was still worried and when another being wasn't in the room, her face went to a concentrated look. She looked out the window yet again. Something wasn't right and Aeronwen could feel it. She would have to wait until her sister woke up when she could speak with her. She got up once more and then walked to the window then saw the girl that she had been talking to sitting under a tree. She opened the window and spoke. "Natalya. Could you come inside darling? I believe there is a storm coming." She wasn't exactly lying because it could be a storm of bad events or a literal storm but she wanted to keep her residents safe.

Natalya looked up from her book, shouting a yes back at Aeronwen as she picked up her book. Heading inside, she walked into the kitchen, smiling at Aeronwen on the way. She walked a couple of yards down the hallway before plopping down on the ground with a thump. She winced, but took out her book regardless.

She leaned back against the stiff board for a few moments before standing up again. She cracked her neck, and started to walk back to her room, glancing out of the windows. Natalya wished, no she longed to be outside, but Aeronwen knew best, and she wasn't about to go disobeying the person who gave her a home and food.

Faye

The silence, scratched at her. Slowly, she bagan backing her way out of the kitchen. Then she noticed a young girl walking down a long hall, looking sad. Faye wanted to speak up and ask what was bothering her, but felt that she was in no opposition to start friendly conversation.Image She suddenly felt a desperate need for fresh air. She ran out the front door and dropped her bag on the porch.

Faye was hyperventilating, but the fresh air took her in with open arms. She paced back and forth, trying to mentally prepare herself for another awkward confrontation. She hated having to meet people, her entire life she had been sheltered from it by online schooling, no friends, and hotel rooms. Now, she had no one to cower to.

While deciding whether the most logical decision was to run away and never look back, or walk back in with the confidence she had only ever seen in "Mean Girls", someone rounded the corner. Faye jumped as made he made his presence known, nose pointed in the air. Her heart beat what seemed to be forty miles per hour, and to stop it she suddenly spoke up, "I'm Faye." She instantly crumbled. "I just got here, and got the brunt of it." She starred as he kept smelling. "Can I help you find something? " She said this awkwardly, feeling completely out of her comfort zone. How could her nose smell something that this person couldn't. "I um, sorry I am new to this whole monster thing.." Her eyes grew large as she realized what she had said. Shit shit shit shit What did you do?! "No I mean that, I don't mean that, I meant that.. I mean, I WAS TRYING TO SAY," She was getting aggravated at herself. She was just making it worse, "I just found out that I was different, so I ran away and.. you don't care.. Well, would you maybe happen to know where to find this pers-" She just stopped before she made it worse. She shuffled through her purse and found the slip of paper with the name Aeronwen written on it. She held the slip out to him, shaking nervously.

Rounding a corner Arturo growled lightly, mainly in surprise at the girl in front of him. Sniffing again it wasn't her scent that was hanging around his nostrils hers was a sweet scent with a tang of nervousness and worry. Arturo walked around her as she began to speak stumbling over her words and finally holding out a peice of paper with Aeronwen's name on it. She must have been sent here to find refuge.

Arturo's head titled to the side as he looked at the paper, he gestured to a door and spoke " In there turn left then right, everyone is in the kitchen" he turned around and began to walk away before he turned to the girl again " you should relax, worry will get you no where"

He ran through the garden the rush of scents filling his nostrils helped him gauge vaugely where the smell was coming from. Growling loudly he noticed movement in the trees, crouching down Arturo squinted to get a better look his wolf instincts coming out to help him rather than hinder him.

Looking over to the house he saw. Corr outside, he whistled to get his attention to beckon him over. A vampire's eyesight was just was good as a werewolf's.
