I knew he promised, but something about it felt false, but for now I had trust his promise, because it was damn convincing.
"Thanks Josh" I said wiping the tears and breaking apart from him. "Sorry for waking you up" I said quietly. He had his own room in my house.
"Let's go to sleep?" I asked and he nodded, I smiled and turned the TV off, walking upstairs slowly. I promise

"You sure you'll be able to fall back asleep," I asked when we reached the upstairs. I'd seen the scared-senseless look in her eyes when I'd arrived. She needs sleep, not another nightmare. I don't want her to go back to sleep if that's what lies in store for her.

"Yeah" no I said, of course I can't go to sleep after this, call it immature, but Josh is really the only one I trust in this pack, damn this world, loosing him is like dropping someone off at Pluto by themselves. I pulled the desk chair up to Ruby's bedside and waited for her to fall asleep. The chair is uncomfortable and hard and a bit worn out, I've been meaning to replace this for a while because of all the times I've stayed in it until she fell asleep, or if I fall asleep then dawn. I sat in the dark and waited until her breathing became regular and her eyes stayed shut.

I was running this time, I recognized this place even though I knew I've never been here. I stopped to look around, I heard bones breaking, werewovles. I stood there quietly until I heard it behind me, I turned around quickly and fell over a tree root.
"Don't come closer, or-or I'll, hurt you" I said thinking of what I could do. "Badly" I added, the animal in-front-of me growled and came closer, I put my hand up to perform the migraine I've used so many times before, but the animal in-front-of me didn't fall in pain, I looked at my hand, what the hell? My hand started turning hairy and so did my legs, I felt a bone crack in my back, no, bones started cracking everywhere I felt myself scream but it came out as a howl. I finally fell down on the ground.
"Help,me" I said but it came out as a animalistic sound.
I woke up with Josh shaking me awake.

I was about to leave when she started groaning in pain.

I rushed back to her side and started to wake her up. I grabbed her shoulders and shook her hard, but not violently. Soon she woke up, sitting straight up and looking around fearfully.
"Are you okay?"
