Jordan caught her breathe as the man begun to walk nearer to her. He didn't disappear like they always did for the past few years, he was coming towards her. The automatic instinct was to run, and that was what she did. She ran, avoiding bumping every person on the sidewalk so well it seemed almost impossible. The man, he was even having trouble with the crowd. Then she felt the ground beneath her start to soften. What was going on? It became harder and harder to run until, with her last burst of strength in her legs, she did something she had been avoiding doing for years, she jumped through a wall. When she did the ground turned back to normal and she regained energy in her legs. What had just happened? Taking off her sunglasses she looked in the building she was now in. This was not possible, she had expected it to worke but since it had she was close to fainting from shock, the realization that this was all real. But the realization would have to wait until later because the man popped right through the wall like she did.
"What the heck?" she half yelled then continued to run toward the other wall. I did it the first time right? I could do it again, and sure enough she did onto the street but when she had begun to run she bumped into somebody. Looking at his face she was about to run again but it wasn't the man, maybe he could help her.
"Please, their is this middle aged man chasing me!" he looked maybe in his thiries actually but adult was adult.

Rodney had caught the girl by her elbows, and was frowning at her. She seemed way too frightened to do anything rationally. But his ears perked up as he looked down on her. A middle aged man? Possibly a rapist. But for some reason he had this tingling feeling, the feeling of power when he touched her. Shaking his head slowly, he grappled her wrist and turned the corner, smashing into a wooden door that he bashed open.

As he rushed through the door, thoughts formulated through his head. Formulas and potions, a brewery and mathematical equations waltzed, sashayed, and tumbled their way through his mind as he began to think, very carefully about where he wanted to be. He said nothing, and his movements were smooth as he escorted her through the doorway that looked like it was going into an abandoned hat shop.

MOVE! He felt himself command, and all of a sudden there was the most interesting feeling tugging at his gut. He knew exactly what that was. He let the feeling overtake him, and he tightened his grip on the girl as they tumbled through the hallway. They landed on a cold stone floor, and he grunted softly, but he had hit the floor, and caught her. Helping her up, he rushed out of the door of a small bakery that didn't look like it was anywhere near where they had been before. He didn't want to give her an explanation, but he knew he would have to give her one eventually.

"Don't freak out, I helped you. But.." He pushed his big, bulky glasses farther up his nose, and sighed softly. His hair was slicked back into a perfect black helmet, and his eyes were the brightest green imaginable.

When they stopped she caught her breathe. Where were they? She wrenched her hand free from him and started to back up suddenly realizing what just happened.
"Not you too. Can I not have a normal life? None of this can be real. None of this can-"
She stopped when her arm felt like it was submerged in jello. Turning around her hand was in the bakery wall. She pulled it back out then looked at it. Normal life? Officially gone. This...nerd seemed to be the only person not chasing her, but he had grabbed her hand and "transported her and stuff.
"You're not...with him? Are you?"
By him she meant the weird man chasing her. Because if he was she was going to scream and run in about five seconds. How could this boy be the kind of guy who chases people though? He hardly seemed like the chasing type. More like the straight a, computer geek type that you see in the movies and around school. If she was being harsh on him she didn't care because for one, she was thinking it not saying it and two, this was her way of getting her mind off of what just happened and screaming for no apparent reason.

"No, no I'm not." He seemed rather disgruntled at the question, rolling his eyes and muttering to himself for a moment before turning back towards the bakery wall, and observing the way she had accidentally shoved her hand into it. She had full, raw talent. But he saw that no one had ever trained her before. Whistling beneath his breath for a moment, he snapped his fingers, and the air seemed to fold around his fingers for a moment. In a flash of nothing, his fingers were encased in a white glove.

"Can you do that?" He asked, waiting for her to mimic what he had just done, if she could. He hoped that she would be able to. It'd be nice to have an apprentice of sorts. He wriggled his fingers at her for a moment, his glasses coming askew as he watched her curiously.

Jordan frowned,
"Can I-"
She saw the white glove on his hand and had two thoughts going on in her head. One was: This is impossible. The second: I can make something better than a white glove. If she was gonna do something, she was going to do it her way. She thought about a glove and felt a netting circling around her palms then tightening to fit her hands. Who would choose white gloves over netting gloves? Not her.
"This. Is. Awesome."
She said. She could do almost anything! So far, she could make clothes appear out of thin air, and walk through walls. Then their was thatother stuff from when she was a kid and was just plain strange but now it was cool.

He rolled his eyes, and nodded in her direction. He accepted that maybe she didn't like white gloves as much as stupid netting gloves. He preferred a more theatrical taste. Smacking his lips for a moment, he stretched his mouth as wide as it would go, and suddenly you would be able to see something wriggling at the back of his throat.

A golden snake slithered out of his throat. While this was rather gross, he would ignore her obvious stare and walk straight through the wall, with the snake in his arms. It was his pet, for some reason. He had had a few of these, but he'd sent most of them back to the second dimension. Shrugging his shoulders nonchalantly, as though he had not just had a snake come from his mouth, he grinned at her through the wall.

"Beat that." He said casually. He knew she would.

She gagged slightly as the snake appeared in his mouth.
"Gross,"
She said outloud.
Then when she finally got herself together she said,
"So, I'm just supposed to make some sort of animal appear out of my mouth? I don't think so."
Instead she looked around and saw a stick. She grabbed it and threw it into an alleyway. Shehad always wanted a dog, preferably german shepard. Itcame bounding back with stick in mouth and she petted it and ruffled the fur which seemed strangely realistic. Then she realized what he was doing. She got back up out of her crouch and looked at the boy.
"Hey! I just got out of school!"
She was refering to the fact that he was acting like a teacher. A fun one, she had to admit but a teacher none the less.

"Pfft. You just figured that out, girl?" He snorted in her direction. He had ignored all of her comments, and simply petted his snake between it's soft, silver eyes. Clicking his tongue against the roof of his mouth.

"Well, you've got promise." He shrugged his shoulders at her, rolling his eyes.

Did he just insult her? He did, he definintly did. Taking a step towards him she could just feel something boiling in her. Anger? No, it didn't quite feel like that, because she knew that feeling well. No, it felt more like, well she couldn't even explain it, but it felt good. Maybe he would be different if he looked different. She knew that she may regret this later because people were starting to appear but she imagined him and the mannequin she had seen yesterday at Dillards on him. She squint her eyes as she did so though and was slightly thankful she had sunglasses on covering them. When she opened them she laughed. It hadn't completely worked. He had the Dillard's outfit on but his hat and glasses were still there, ruining the whole thing.

"Holy shit!" He screamed. He shouldn't have angered her. He turned towards her, the snake hissing lightly. He looked down at himself and closed his eyes. He couldn't get the damn clothes off. He wanted to scream and rip out his hair, but unfortunately that wasn't an option. "FFFF. Change me back!" He demanded her to, but he knew deep down that she wouldn't do it. But he was still very curious about how strong she was, she hadn't even realized that she was this strong. But he knew potential when he saw it. The golden snake stayed curled around his shoulders like a metallic shawl, and he continued to glare at her.

"Come on, man!" He sighed, staring down at the clothes again. What the fuck had just happened? He knew exactly what had happened. He had been bested by a rookie, a beginner. He hadn't kept his shield up around her. Fuuu.

Jordan laughed for a while longer and when she thought she was done she laughed for another good thirty seconds. By the time she was done her ribs ached more than they ever had. She shook her head, afraid to say anything because she might burst out laughing again. Finally she got herself under control and said,
"Why don't you just change back? After all, you made a snake come out of your mouth, changing shouldn't be that hard."
It was actually quite hillarious to watch his frustration build. He cursed, yelled, and flipped out because she changed him into some awesome clothes.
