Personality: {weak, funny, loyal for no reason, trusts too easily, understanding, comfortable to be around.}
Tyler has a tendency to trust people before they earn it. He doesn't trust them with important things, but he easily becomes comfortable around people, and it shows. From the moment you know him, he seems all smiles and laughter, and it's rather contagious. He's the guy you go to when you need one more volunteer for you church retreet or when you just want someone to talk to and tell you everything will be okay. Everyone knows him as the nice guy, and thats a pretty good rep to have. It leaves him with a choice between many girls, and thats not half bad.
But the truth is, most people don't really know him. This happy, friendly, laughing exterior is only one of show to hide how he really feels. He's angry- all the time about things that should no longer matter, but for some reason do. His emotions are hyped higher than the average person, and he seems to take things harder, though he doesn't let it show. To his friends and the people around him, it seems as though nothing can pennontrate his bubble of perfect happiness, but if you get to know him, you'll realize there is no bubble.
So yes, he does get hurt easily. But does it show? No. Because of so, he has figured out how to make it seem like he's open, even if he's really not. Besides the one or two people he truly cares about, there's not much in this world that he likes.
But hey, he's still that super sweet, funny guy.

History:
Born to a single mother, Tyler has been in foster homes since he was 2. The house he was in for the longest, for a year, didn't keep track of his name, so when he was 6, he chose the name Tyler Scott. In each foster home, something went wrong, whether it was the parents couldn't afford another kid or that their previous child didn't like sharing attention, and because of so he's been in 15 foster homes.
The worst experience was was he was 13. He came home one day from school with a bruise on his leg from tripping. When the foster father asked what it was from, he thought Tyler was lying so he hit him, to show he could lie about that too. It escalated to Tyler being knocked out, and breaking 2 ribs and an arm, along with a split lip and many scratches and bruises. He was knocked out, and nearly bled to death after the father left the house, and mother and child on a trip. He was brought to the hospital by a neighbor who came over after hearing yelling and banging. He was hospitalized for three days, before being moved into the Preston's.
And he's been here ever since, finally being treated like a person and not a item you were forced to keep. But his past still haunts him.
