Lindsey didn't understand why she had to hide until she was about 10 years old. She knew she wasn't supposed to be there but she would always get scolded for peaking out the window when she shouldn't be. She would sneak outside now and then when her parents and brothers weren't home and just sit in the grass in their backyard. She did it only a couple of times until they got new neighbors, after that she would just peak out the windows. When she was 14 she found out about a chat room for the forbidden children which is where she found out about the revolt. Back then she was afraid to join but now she's tired of hiding.
