Personality
Caring, compassionate, spunky, can be a bit self-conscious/insecure, likes personal time but also likes being around people, generally optimistic. Serena has always done exceptional work in school, a straight A student though never a 4.0 like her parents. She tries very hard to please people she's close to though she doesn't like to compromise herself if it comes down to the wire.
History
Serena's mother died last year and her family has had a lot of trouble coping with the loss. He dad works long hours and doesn't get to spend much time with her or her younger sister Kayla (she's 9). Serena tends to spend a lot of time with her sister now that their mom is gone.
